In this article we prove a general result on a nef vector bundle E on a projective manifold X of dimension n depending on the vector space Hn,n(X,E): It is also shown that Hn,n(X,E) = 0 for an indecomposable nef rank 2 vector bundles E on some specific type of n dimensional projective manifold X. The same vanishing shown to hold for indecomposable nef and big rank 2 vector bundles on any variety with trivial canonical bundle.  相似文献

Necessary conditions are established for the continuity of finite sums of ridge functions defined on convex subsets E of the space Rn. It is shown that under some constraints imposed on the summed functions ?i, in the case when E is open, the continuity of the sum implies the continuity of all ?i. In the case when E is a convex body with nonsmooth boundary, a logarithmic estimate is obtained for the growth of the functions ?i in the neighborhoods of the boundary points of their domains of definition. In addition, an example is constructed that demonstrates the accuracy of the estimate obtained.  相似文献

We study 2-primary parts ⅢX(E~((n))/Q)[2~∞] of Shafarevich-Tate groups of congruent elliptic curves E~((n)): y~2= x~3-n~2x, n ∈Q~×/Q~(×2). Previous results focused on finding sufficient conditions for ⅢX(E~((n))/Q)[2~∞]trivial or isomorphic to(Z/2Z)~2. Our first result gives necessary and sufficient conditions such that the 2-primary part of the Shafarevich-Tate group of E~((n))is isomorphic to(Z/2Z)~2 and the Mordell-Weil rank of E~((n)) is zero,provided that all prime divisors of n are congruent to 1 modulo 4. Our second result provides sufficient conditions for ⅢX(E~((n))/Q)[2~∞]■(Z/2Z)~(2k), where k≥2.  相似文献

Let G be a finite Abelian group acting (linearly) on space ?n and, therefore, on its complexification ?n, and let W be the real part of the quotient ?n/G (in the general case, W ≠ ?n/G). Assuming the continuum hypothesis we construct an example of a nonmetrizable compact set X with the following properties(1) X n is hereditarily separable for all n ∈ ?(2) X n \ Δ n is perfectly normal for every n ∈ ?, where Δ n is the generalized diagonal of X n , i.e., the set of points with at least two equal coordinates(3) for every seminormal functor ? that preserves weights and the points of bijectivity the space ? k (X) is hereditarily normal, where k is the second smallest element of the power spectrum of the functor ?; in particular, X 2 and λ 3 X are hereditarily normal.Our example of a space of this type strengthens the well-known example by Gruenhage of a nonmetrizable compact set whose square is hereditarily normal and hereditarily separable.  相似文献

Let z n denote the sequence of zeros of the Mittag-Leffler function E ρ (z; μ), ρ > 0, μ ∈ ?, which is an entire function of order ρ. With the exception of the case ρ = 1/2, Re μ = 3 an asymptotic behavior of the sequence z n ρ was known earlier up to infinitesimals o(1) having a sharply defined rate of decrease. In this paper the behavior of the sequence z n 1/2 is studied just in this exceptional case. Furthermore, for ρ = 1/2, μ > 3 we give the form of a curvilinear half-plane which is free of the points z n .  相似文献

This paper is devoted to strict K-monotonicity and K-order continuity in symmetric spaces. Using a local approach to the geometric structure in a symmetric space E we investigate a connection between strict K-monotonicity and global convergence in measure of a sequence of the maximal functions. Next, we solve an essential problem whether an existence of a point of K-order continuity in a symmetric space E on \([0,\infty )\) implies that the embedding \(E\hookrightarrow {L^1}[0,\infty )\) does not hold. We present a complete characterization of an equivalent condition to K-order continuity in a symmetric space E using a notion of order continuity and the fundamental function of E. We also investigate a relationship between strict K-monotonicity and K-order continuity in symmetric spaces and show some examples of Lorentz spaces and Marcinkiewicz spaces having these properties or not. Finally, we discuss a local version of a crucial correspondence between order continuity and the Kadec–Klee property for global convergence in measure in a symmetric space E.  相似文献

Let M be an n-dimensional differentiable manifold with an affine connection without torsion and T_1~1(M) its(1, 1)-tensor bundle. In this paper, the authors define a new affine connection on T_1~1(M) called the intermediate lift connection, which lies somewhere between the complete lift connection and horizontal lift connection. Properties of this intermediate lift connection are studied. Finally, they consider an affine connection induced from this intermediate lift connection on a cross-section σ_ξ(M) of T_1~1(M) defined by a(1, 1)-tensor field ξ and present some of its properties.  相似文献

If S is a monoid, the set S×S equipped with componentwise S-action is called the diagonal act of S and is denoted by D(S). We prove the following theorem: the right S-act S n (1≠n∈?) is (principally) weakly flat if and only if \(\prod _{i=1}^{n}A_{i}\) is (principally) weakly flat where A i , 1≤in are (principally) weakly flat right S-acts, if and only if the diagonal act D(S) is (principally) weakly flat. This gives an answer to a conjecture posed by Bulman-Fleming and Gilmour (Semigroup Forum 79:298–314, 2009). Besides, we present a fair characterization of monoids S over which the diagonal act D(S) is (principally) weakly flat and finally, we impose a condition on D(S) in order to make S a left PSF monoid.  相似文献

Let E ? ?n be a closed set of Hausdorff dimension α. For m > n, let{B1, …, Bk} be n × (m ? n) matrices. We prove that if the system of matrices Bj is non-degenerate in a suitable sense, α is sufficiently close to n, and if E supports a probability measure obeying appropriate dimensionality and Fourier decay conditions, then for a range of m depending on n and k, the set E contains a translate of a non-trivial k-point configuration {B1y, …, Bky}. As a consequence, we are able to establish existence of certain geometric configurations in Salem sets (such as parallelograms in ?n and isosceles right triangles in ?2). We study the properties of real realizations of holomorphic linear connections over associative commutative algebras \(\mathbb{A}\) m with unity. If the Weyl tensor W = 0 and the components of the curvature tensor 1 R ≠ 0, 2 R ≠ 0, then the Lie algebra of infinitesimal affine transformations of the space (M 2n ? , ??) is isomorphic to the direct sum of the Lie algebras of infinitesimal affine transformations of the spaces ( a M n , a ?) It is proved that there exists a metric on a Cantor set such that any finite metric space whose diameter does not exceed 1 and the number of points does not exceed n can be isometrically embedded into it. It is also proved that for any m, n ∈ N there exists a Cantor set in Rm that isometrically contains all finite metric spaces which can be embedded into Rm, contain at most n points, and have the diameter at most 1. Estimates are based on observations of the field ζ(t, x)?+?θ(t, x) at points (t, x), t?=???1,???2, ..., x?∈?S n , where θ(t, x) is an uncorrelated with ζ(t, x) periodically correlated with respect to time isotropic on the sphere S n random field. Formulas for computing the value of the mean-square error and the spectral characteristic of the optimal linear estimate of the functional are obtained. The least favourable spectral densities and the minimax (robust) spectral characteristics of the optimal estimates of the functional are determined for some special classes of spectral densities.

An embedding of a digraph in an orientable surface is an embedding as the underlying graph and arcs in each region force a directed cycle. The directed genus is the minimum genus of surfaces in which the digraph can be directed embedded. Bonnington, Conder, Morton and McKenna [J. Combin. Theory Ser. B, 85(2002) 1-20] gave the problem that which tournaments on n vertices have the directed genus ?(n?3)(n?4)/12 ?, the genus of Kn. In this paper, we use the current graph method to show that there exists a tournament, which has the directed genus ?(n?3)(n?4)/12 ?, on n vertices if and only if n ≡ 3 or 7 (mod 12).  相似文献

It is proved that the family of all pairwise products of regular harmonic functions on D and of the Newtonian potentials of points on the line L ? The authors discuss the existence and uniqueness up to isometries of Enof immersions φ : Ω  R~n→ E~n with prescribed metric tensor field(g ij) : Ω→ S~n, and discuss the continuity of the mapping(gij) →φ defined in this fashion with respect to various topologies. In particular, the case where the function spaces have little regularity is considered.
