A Facile One-pot Synthesis of 2,5-Disubstituted Oxazoles Using Poly[styrene（iodosodiacetate）]

2,5-Disubstituted oxazoles were prepared conveniently by treatment of aromatic α-methyl ketones and nitriles with poly[styrene(iodosodiacetate)] in a one-pot manner.

Synthesis, Structure and Conductivity of （PyH）[Ni（dmit）2]2

A new molecular conductor (PyH)[Ni(dmit)2]2 (dmit = 4, 5-dimercapto-1, 3-dithiole-2-thione) has been prepared and its crystal structure has been determined. Crystallographic parameters for (PyH)[Ni(dmit)2]2: C17H6NNi2S20; triclinic system; P-1 space group; a = 5.9227 (4) , b =8.2279 (6), c = 16.7535 (9) A, a = 90.233 (5) , 0 = 92.107 (6) , y= 104.654 (6) ; V= 789.25 (9) A3; Z = 1; Dc = 2.068 g/cm3; F (000) = 491. The conductivity at one direction on (001) plane at room temperature was measured to be 0.13 ii^-cmf1. The resistivity-temperature curve in the temperature range of 90-290 K shows that this compound behaves as a semiconductor.

Three distannoxane dimers[(PhCH2)2(Cl)SnOSn(X)(CH2Ph)2]2(X=Cl,OMe,OEt)were prepared by the hydrolytic reaction of (PhCH2)2SnCl2 with sodium alkoxides.The compounds are assigned tetranuclear distannoxane structures in solid state.which contain the so-called ladder arrangement with a central planar Sn2O2 four-membered ring.The endo-and exo-cyclic Sn atoms are both five-coordinate,and have distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometries.A variety of hydrolyses of(PhCH2)2SnCl2 were performed and these dimers were characterized by IR,^1H NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis.

The mass spectrometric fragmentation of 2a, 4-disubstituted 5-benzoyl-2a, 3,4, 5-tetrahydro-2-phenoxy-azeto[1,2-α] [ 1,5 ] benzodiazepin-I (2H)-ones has been investigated by means of mass-analyzed ion kinetic energy spectrometry under electron impact ionization conditions. All compounds tend to lose different moieties, such as phenoxy, phenoxy and H, and phenoxyketene. Both [ M^ - PhO ] and [ M^ - PhOH ] ions could further lose CO, and the [ M^ - PhOCH = C = O] ions could lose propene or styrene, PhCON, PhCOHN, and other fragments.

One-pot synthesis of oxygen and nitrogen-bridged calix[2]arene[2]triazines

A simple and powerful one-pot reaction method was developed for the synthesis of heteracalixaromatics. In the presence of a base, one-pot macrocyclic condensation reaction between cyanuric chloride and 1,3-phenylene diols and diamines proceeded effectively under very mild conditions to afford a number of functionalised oxygen and nitrogen-bridged calix[2]arene[2]triazines in 33–54% yields. The method was applied in a multigram-scale (14.4 g) preparation of tetraoxacalix[2]arene[2]triazine.     

One-pot Synthesis and Characterization of Poly(meta-aryl sulfide sulfone imide imide)

Poly(meta-aryl sulfide sulfone imide imide) (m-PASSII) was synthesized by one-pot process using 4-chlorophthalic anhydride, 3,3′-diamino diphenyl sulfone and sodium sulfide (Na₂S· xH₂O) as starting materials in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone at atmospheric pressure. The intrinsic viscosity of m-PASSII was obtained with optimum synthesis conditions is 0.21-0.27 dl/g. The polymer and the separated intermediates which generated during the synthesis process were characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR spectrum, ¹H-NMR spectrum, X-ray diffraction, DSC, TGA and dissolvability experiment. The polymer is found to have excellent thermal performance with glass transition temperature (T _g ) of 224°C and initial degradation temperature (T _d ) of 441°C. Moreover, the polymer is dissolvable in strong polar solvents.     

Solid-Phase Stereoselective Synthesis of (E)-1, 2-Disubstituted Ethenes from Polymer-Sopported a-Selenoaldehydes

Reaction of polymer-supported a-selenoaldehydes with Grignard reagents afforded polymer-bound B-hydroxyalkyl selenides, which treated with thionyl chloride and triethylamine leading to (E)-1, 2-disubstituted ethenes in good yield.     

Drug loaded poly[Lac(Glc-Leu)] microparticles: Formulation and release characteristics

Valdecoxib has been entrapped in sub-5 μm particles of poly[Lac(Glc-Leu)] copolymer using a oil-in-water (o/w) emulsification–solvent evaporation technique. To achieve monodispersed sized particles, a microfluidizer was used as ultrasonication device. Formulation parameters such as effect of polymer load, ultrasonication time, stabilizer concentration and stirring rate have a profound effect on particle size, and polydispersity. By adjustment of these parameters, microparticles ranging from about 0.8 to more than 4 μm have been prepared.
