Salts of the monooxomolybdenum(IV,V) areneselenolates having intramolecular NH...Se hydrogen bonds, [Mo(IV)O(Se-2-RCONHC6H4)4]2- (R = t-Bu, CH3, CF3) and [Mo(V)O(Se-2-t-BuCONHC6H4)4]-, were synthesized and characterized by 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), 77Se NMR, electron spin resonance (ESR), UV-visible spectra, X-ray analysis, and electrochemical measurements. 77Se-1H correlated spectroscopy (COSY) indicated a significant correlation between amide 1H and selenolate 77Se atoms through an NH...Se hydrogen bond with 1J(77Se-1H) = 5.4 Hz coupling. The hydrogen bonds contribute to the positive shift in the Mo(V)/Mo(IV) redox potential. In the crystal structure of (PPh4)2[Mo(IV)O(Se-2-CH3CONHC6H4)4], an NH...O=Mo hydrogen bond was found. Ab inito calculations support the presence of intramolecular NH...O=Mo and NH...Se hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

Very short C-H...O, N-H...O, and O-H...O hydrogen bonds have been generated utilizing the cyclic phosphate [CH2(6-t-Bu-4-Me-C6H2O)2]P(O)OH (1). X-ray structures of (i) 1 (unsolvated, two polymorphs), 1...EtOH, and 1...MeOH, (ii) [imidazolium](+)[CH2(6-t-Bu-4-Me-C6H2O)2PO2](-)...MeOH [2], (iii) [HNC5H4-N=N-C5H4NH](2+)[(CH2(6-t-Bu-4-Me-C6H2O)2PO2)2](2-)...4CH3CN...H2O [3], (v) [K, 18-crown-6](+)[(CH2(6-t-Bu-4-Me-C6H2O)2P(O)OH)(CH2(6-t-Bu-4-Me-C6H2O)2PO2)](-)...2THF [4], (vi) 1...cytosine...MeOH [5], (vii) 1...adenine...1/2MeOH [6], and (viii) 1...S-(-)-proline [7] have been determined. The phosphate 1 in both its forms is a hydrogen-bonded dimer with a short O-H...O distance of 2.481(2) [triclinic form] or 2.507(3) A [monoclinic form]. Compound 2 has a helical structure with a very short C-H...O hydrogen bond involving an imidazolyl C-H and methanol in addition to N-H...O hydrogen bonds. A helical motif is also seen in 5. In 3, an extremely short N-H...O hydrogen bond [N...O 2.558(4) A] is observed. Compounds 6 and 7 also exhibit short N-H...O hydrogen bonds. In 1...EtOH, a 12-membered hydrogen-bonded ring motif, with one of the shortest known O-H...O hydrogen bonds [O...O 2.368(4) A], is present. 1...MeOH is a similar dimer with a very short O(-H)...O bond [2.429(3) A]. In 4, the deprotonated phosphate (anion) and the parent acid are held together by a hydrogen bond on one side and a coordinate/covalent bond to potassium on the other; the O-H...O bond is symmetrical and very strong [O...O 2.397(3) A].  相似文献

Two new mononuclear Ca(II) complexes with aryl dihydrogen phosphate ligands having two strategically oriented bulky amide groups, 2,6-(Ph3CCONH)2C6H3OPO3H2 (1), including one with a phosphate monoanion, (NMe4)[CaII[O2P(OH)OC6H3-2,6-(NHCOCPh3)2]3(NCMe)3] (3), and one with a phosphate dianion, [CaII[O3POC6H3-2,6-(NHCOCPh3)2](H2O)3(MeOH)2] (4). Both are analogues for the NH...O hydrogen bonds in the active site of Ca(II)-containing phosphotransferase. Crystallographic studies of these Ca(II) complexes revealed that the amide NHs are directed to uncoordinated O atoms of the phosphates, and the IR and 1H NMR spectra indicate that strong NH...O hydrogen bonds are formed only in the phosphate dianion state. The ligand exchange reaction of 3 with a non-hydrogen-bonded phosphate ligand shows that the NH...O hydrogen bonds prevent the Ca-O bond from dissociation. A scatter plot analysis comparing the distance of a Ca-O bond with the Ca-O-P angle, the Fourier density analysis, and DFT calculations reveal that a partial degree of covalency in the Ca-O(phosphate) bonds is present.  相似文献

The aromatic C-H...O hydrogen bonding within the series of the structurally relative indenone derivatives has been studied. The presence of the hydrogen bonds is corroborated by the large low-field chemical shifts of the protons involved in the hydrogen bond observed experimentally and reproduced by quantum mechanical calculations. Further confirmation is provided by analysis of the orbital overlap coefficients, (13)C NMR chemical shifts, and one-bond spin-spin coupling constants J((13)C-(1)H). The relationship between molecular geometry and (1)H NMR chemical shifts of involved protons has a complex nature, but the C-H...O distance is the principal factor.  相似文献

Mononuclear Zn, Cd, and Hg 1,2-benzenedithiolates with intramolecular NH...S hydrogen bonds, [M(II){1,2-S2-3,6-(RCONH)2C6H2}2](2-) (R = CH 3, t-Bu; M = Zn, Cd, Hg), were synthesized and characterized by X-ray analysis and spectral measurements. The presence of intramolecular NH...S hydrogen bonds was established by the IR spectra. (199)Hg and (113)Cd nuclear magnetic resonance showed a stabilized four-thiolate coordinated structure and suggested the influence of the NH...S hydrogen bonds to ppi(Hg)-ppi(S) interactions. The NH stretching bands show that the NH...S hydrogen bonds in Cd and Hg complexes are stronger than those in the corresponding Zn complex. These results are supported by theoretical calculations. The experimental and theoretical results suggested that the NH...S hydrogen bond influences the efficient capture of toxic Cd and Hg ions by metallothioneins.  相似文献

Two-dimensional (1)H-(13)C MAS-J-HMQC solid-state NMR spectra of the two anomeric forms of maltose at natural abundance are presented. The experimental (1)H chemical shifts of the CH and CH(2) protons are assigned using first-principles chemical shift calculations that employ a plane-wave pseudopotential approach. Further calculations show that the calculated change in the (1)H chemical shift when comparing the full crystal and an isolated molecule is a quantitative measure of intermolecular C-H...O weak hydrogen bonding. Notably, a clear correlation between a large chemical shift change (up to 2 ppm) and both a short H...O distance (<2.7 A) and a CHO bond angle greater than 130 degrees is observed, thus showing that directionality is important in C-H...O hydrogen bonding.  相似文献

Trehalose is a disaccharide that attracts much attention as a stress protectant. In this study, we investigated the mechanism of the antioxidant function of trehalose. The spin-lattice relaxation times (T(1)) of (1)H and (13)C NMR spectra were measured to investigate the interaction between trehalose and unsaturated fatty acid (UFA). We selected several kinds of UFA that differ in the number of double bonds and in their configurations (cis or trans). Several other disaccharides (sucrose, maltose, neotrehalose, maltitol, and sorbitol) were also analyzed by NMR. The T(1) values for the (1)H and (13)C signals assigned to the olefin double bonds in UFA decrease with increasing concentration of trehalose and the changes reaches plateaus at integer ratios of trehalose to UFA. The characteristic T(1) change is observed only for the combination of trehalose and UFA with cis double bond(s). On the other hand, from the (13)C-T(1) measurements for trehalose, the T(1) values of the C-3 (C-3') and C-6' (C-6) are found to change remarkably by addition of UFA. (1)H[bond](1)H NOESY measurements provide direct evidence for complexation of trehalose with linoleic acid. These results indicate that one trehalose molecule stoichiometrically interacts with one cis-olefin double bond of UFA. Computer modeling study indicates that trehalose forms a stable complex with an olefin double bond through OH...pi and CH...O types of hydrogen bonding. Furthermore, a significant increase in the activation energy is found for hydrogen abstraction reaction from the methylene group located between the double bonds that are both interacting with the trehalose molecules. Therefore, trehalose has a significant depression effect on the oxidation of UFA through the weak interaction with the double bond(s). This is the first study to elucidate the antioxidant function of trehalose.  相似文献

Carbazole functionalized polyisocyanides are known to exhibit excellent electronic properties (E. Schwartz, et al., Chemistry of Materials, 2010, 22, 2597). The functionalities and properties of such materials crucially depend on the organization and stability of the polymer structure. We combine solid-state Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) experiments with first-principles calculations of isotropic chemical shifts, within the recently developed converse approach, to rationalize the origin of isotropic chemical shifts in the crystalline monomer l-isocyanoalanine 2-(9H-carbazol-9-yl) ethyl amide (monomer 1) and thereby gain insight into the structural organization of its polymer (polymer 2). The use of state-of-the-art solid-state NMR experiments combined with Density Functional Theory (DFT) based calculations allows an unambiguous assignment of all proton and carbon resonances of the monomer. We were able to identify the structure stabilising interactions in the crystal and understand the influence of the molecular packing in the crystal structure on the chemical shift data observed in the NMR spectra. Here the Nuclear Independent Chemical Shift (NICS) approach allows discriminating between 'physical' interactions amongst neighboring molecules such as ring-current effects and 'chemical' interactions such as hydrogen bonding. This analysis reveals that the isocyanide monomer is stabilized by multiple hydrogen bonds such as a bifurcated hydrogen bond involving -N-H, -C-H and O=C- moieties and Ar-H···C≡N- hydrogen bonding (Ar = aromatic group). Based on the geometrical arrangement it is postulated that the carbazole units are involved in the weak σ-π interactions giving rise to a Herringbone packing of the molecules. The chemical shift analysis of the polymer spectra readily establishes the existence of N-H···O=C hydrogen bonds despite the limited resolution exhibited by the polymer spectra. It is also elucidated that the relative arrangement of the carbazole units in the polymer differs significantly from that of the monomer.  相似文献

The structure of tert-butylphosphonic acid in the solid, in solution, and in the gas phase was studied by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, (1)H and (31)P NMR spectroscopic studies in solution, solid-state (31)P NMR spectroscopy, and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry. In addition, density functional theory (DFT) calculations at the B3LYP/6-31G*, B3LYP/6-31+G*, and B3LYP/6-311+G* level of theory for a large number of H-bonded aggregates of the type (tBuPO(3)H(2))(n) (C(n), P(n); n=1-7) support the experimental work. Crystallization of tBuPO(3)H(2) from polar solvents such as CH(3)CN or THF gives the H-bonded one-dimensional polymer 2, whereas crystallization from the less polar solvent CDCl(3) favors the formation of the H-bonded cluster (tBuPO(3)H(2))(6).CDCl(3) (1). In CDCl(3) the hexamer (tBuPO(3)H(2))(6) (C(6)) is replaced by smaller aggregates down to the monomer with decreasing concentration. DFT calculations and natural bond orbital (NBO) analyses for the clusters C(1)-C(7) and the linear arrays P(1)-P(7) reveal the hexamer C(6) to be the energetically favored structure resulting from cooperative strengthening of the hydrogen bonds in the H-bonded framework. However, the average hydrogen bond strengths calculated for C(6) and P(2) do not differ significantly (42-43 kJ mol(-1)). The average distances r(O.O), r(Obond;H), r(Pdbond;O), and r(Pbond;OH) in C(1)-C(7) and P(1)-P(7) are closely related to the hydrogen bond strength. Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry shows the presence of different anionic species of the type [(tBuPO(3)H(2))(n)-H](-) (A(1)-A(7), n=1-7) depending on the instrumental conditions. DFT calculations at the B3LYP/6-31G* level of theory were carried out for A(1)-A(6). We suggest the dimer [(tBuPO(3)H(2))(2)-H](-) (A(2)) and the trimer [(tBuPO(3)H(2))(3)-H](-) (A(3)) are the energetically favored anionic structures. A hydrogen bond energy of approximately 83 kJ mol(-1) was calculated for A(2). Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry is not suitable to study the assembling process of neutral H-bonded tert-butylphosphonic acid since the removal of a proton from the neutral aggregates has a large influence on the hydrogen bond strength and the cluster structure.  相似文献

(1)H NMR and (13)C NMR of methyl-2,4-dimethoxysalicylate 2 was measured in chloroform-d at the temperature range of 220-330 K, in dimethyl sulfoxide-d(6) at the temperature range of 300-400 K and in a polar protic solvent (CD(3)OD) at 300 K. The structure of 2 in liquid phase (solvent) is compared with those in solid phase (X-ray) and in the gas phase (quantum mechanical calculations). The relationship between molecular geometry, (1)H NMR chemical shift and W coupling of involved protons has a complex nature, but hydrogen bonds [C=O...H-O and C=O...H-CH(2)O] strength is the principle factor.  相似文献

According to the (1)H, (13)C and (15)N NMR spectroscopic data and DFT calculations, bifurcated N--H...N and N--H...O intramolecular hydrogen bond is shown to be present in 2-trifluoroacetyl-5-(2'-pyridyl)-pyrrole. This bifurcated hydrogen bond causes an increase in the absolute size of the (1)J(N,H) coupling constant by about 6 Hz, and the deshielding of the bridge proton by 2 ppm. DFT calculations show that the influence of the N--H...N and N--H...O intramolecular hydrogen bonds on the (1)J(N,H) coupling and proton shielding is almost additive, although the components of the bifurcated hydrogen bond slightly weaken each other. In 2-trifluoroacetyl-5-(2'-pyridyl)-pyrrole, the coupling constants involving the fluorine and the N--H covalent bond nuclei depend dramatically on the spatial position of the pyridine ring. The pyridine ring rotation operates as a quantum switch controlling the spin information transfer between the (19)F and (15)N nuclei, as well as the proton.  相似文献

Fumaramide derivatives were analyzed in solution by (1)H NMR spectroscopy and in the solid state by X-ray crystallography in order to characterize the formation of CH...O interactions under each condition and to thereby serve as models for these interactions in peptide and protein structure. Solutions of fumaramides at 10 mM in CDCl(3) were titrated with DMSO-d(6), resulting in chemical shifts that moved downfield for the CH groups thought to participate in CH...O=S(CD(3))(2) hydrogen bonds concurrent with NH...O=S(CD(3))(2) hydrogen bonding. In this model, nonparticipating CH groups under the same conditions showed no significant change in chemical shifts between 0.0 and 1.0 M DMSO-d(6) and then moved upfield at higher DMSO-d(6) concentrations. At concentrations above 1.0 M DMSO-d(6), the directed CH...O=S(CD(3))(2) hydrogen bonds provide protection from random DMSO-d(6) contact and prevent the chemical shifts for participating CH groups from moving upfield beyond the original value observed in CDCl(3). X-ray crystal structures identified CH...O=C hydrogen bonds alongside intermolecular NH...O=C hydrogen bonding, a result that supports the solution (1)H NMR spectroscopy results. The solution and solid-state data therefore both provide evidence for the presence of CH...O hydrogen bonds formed concurrent with NH...O hydrogen bonding in these structures. The CH...O=C hydrogen bonds in the X-ray crystal structures are similar to those described for antiparallel beta-sheet structure observed in protein X-ray crystal structures.  相似文献

Concentration- and temperature-dependent IR, NMR and dipole-moment studies on 4-N,N-dimethylamino-1,1,1-trifluoro-3-buten-2-one and two of its higher homologues showed that these compounds undergo reversible dimerization in nonpolar solvents. Antiparallel "closed" dimers are formed with a network of improper intermolecular C-H...O hydrogen bonds. Quantitative analysis of the 1H NMR data yielded delta H0 = -17.6 kJ mol-1 and delta S0 = -46.9 J deg-1 mol-1. The interactions observed are the strongest among those involving a C-H group reported so far. The complex described here is the first example of a cyclic complex stabilized by two improper C-H...O hydrogen bonds. The conclusions drawn from the solution and solid-state data were confirmed by ab initio calculations.  相似文献

The novel intramolecularly NH...O hydrogen-bonded Ca(II)-aryl sulfonate complex, [Ca2(SO3-2-t-BuCONHC6H4)2(H2O)4]n(2-t-BuCONHC6H4SO3)2n (1), sulfonate anion, (HNEt3)(SO3-2-t-BuCONHC6H4) (2a), (PPh4)(SO3-2-t-BuCONHC6H4) (2b), (n-Bu4N)(SO3-2-t-BuCONHC6H4) (2c), and sulfonic acid, 2-t-BuCONHC6H4SO3H (3), were synthesized. The structures of 1, 2a, and 2b depict the presence of the formation of NH...O hydrogen bonds between the amide NH and S-O oxygen for a series of compounds as determined by IR and 1H NMR analyses both in the solid state and in the solution state. Thus, the NH...O hydrogen bonds with neutral amide groups are available for investigation of the electronic state of the O- anion. The combined data from the IR and 1H NMR spectra indicate that the sulfonic acid, sulfonate anion, and Ca(II) complex have a substantially weak intramolecular NH...O hydrogen bond between the SO3 oxygen and amide NH. In the detailed comparison with the intense NH...O hydrogen bonds for the carboxylate, weak NH...O hydrogen bonds for sulfonate is due to the strong conjugation of the SO3- group with the lower nucleophilicity.  相似文献

A novel series of bis(carbamoylthiophenolato)mercury(II) complexes, [Hg(S-RNHCOC6H4)2] (1, R = 2-t-Bu; 2, R = 2-CH3; 3, R = 2-C6H5CH2; 4, R = 4-t-Bu), and a tetrakis(carbamoylthiophenolato)mercury(II) complex, (NEt4)2[Hg-(S-2-CH3NHCOC6H4)4] (5), were synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR, IR, 199Hg NMR, and crystallographic analyses. The bis(carbamoylthiophenolato)mercury complexes 1-3 do not have intramolecular NH...S hydrogen bonds between the amide NH group and the sulfur atom coordinated to mercury, whereas the tetrakis(thiophenolato)mercury complex 5 does have an intramolecular NH...S hydrogen bond. A relatively weak NH...S hydrogen bond in 5 can be seen in the 1H NMR spectra and the IR spectra in chloroform and in the solid state. The 199Hg NMR spectra in bis(carbamoylthiophenolato)mercury complexes 1-4 show a downfield shift, with an increase in the flow of electrons to mercury(II) from the oxygen atom due to the intramolecular Hg...O bonding interaction. Conversely, the 199Hg NMR spectra in 5 show a high-field shift with a decrease in the flow of electrons to mercury(II) from the sulfur atom due to the intramolecular NH...S hydrogen bond.  相似文献

In the crystal structures of the title compounds, C11H9FN2O, (I), and C13H12FNO4, (II), the molecules are joined pairwise via different hydrogen bonds and the constituent pairs are crosslinked by weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds. The basic structural motif in (I), which is partially disordered, comprises pairs of molecules arranged in an antiparallel fashion which enables C—H...N[triple‐bond]C interactions. The pairs of molecules are crosslinked by two weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds. The constituent pair in (II) is formed by intramolecular bifurcated C—H...O/O′ and combined inter‐ and intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds. In both structures, F atoms form weak C—F...H—C interactions with the H atoms of the two neighbouring methyl groups, the H...F separations being 2.59/2.80 and 2.63/2.71 Å in (I) and (II), respectively. The bond orders in the molecules, estimated using the natural bond orbitals (NBO) formalism, correlate with the changes in bond lengths. Deviations from the ideal molecular geometry are explained by the concept of non‐equivalent hybrid orbitals. The existence of possible conformers of (I) and (II) is analysed by molecular calculations at the B3LYP/6–31+G** level of theory.  相似文献

The molecule of the title compound (systematic name: 6‐chloroindolin‐2‐one), C8H6ClNO, is almost planar, with a dihedral angle of 1.13 (9)° between the planes of the constituent pyrrolidine and benzene rings. Centrosymmetric dimers are formed in the crystal structure by N—H...O hydrogen bonds, and these dimers are additionally linked by Cl...Cl and C—H...O interactions. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations at the B3LYP/6‐31 G(d,p) level of theory were used to optimize the molecular structure and the geometry was best reproduced by optimization of two interacting molecules. The bond orders in the molecule, estimated using the natural bond orbitals (NBO) formalism, are consistent with the observed bond lengths. In particular, the contribution of the lone pair of electrons on the N atom to the N—C bond in the N—C=O group is revealed. The measured IR spectrum of the compound shows a red shift of the N—H stretching frequency compared with the free molecule, due to the formation of the hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The low-temperature (1)H, (19)F, and (15)N NMR spectra of mixtures of collidine-(15)N (2,4,6-trimethylpyridine-(15)N, Col) with HF have been measured using CDF(3)/CDF(2)Cl as a solvent in the temperature range 94-170 K. Below 140 K, the slow proton and hydrogen bond exchange regime is reached where four hydrogen-bonded complexes between collidine and HF with the compositions 1:1, 2:3, 1:2, and 1:3 could be observed and assigned. For these complexes, chemical shifts and scalar coupling constants across the (19)F(1)H(19)F and (19)F(1)H(15)N hydrogen bridges have been measured which allowed us to determine the chemical composition of the complexes. The simplest complex, collidine hydrofluoride ColHF, is characterized at low temperatures by a structure intermediate between a molecular and a zwitterionic complex. Its NMR parameters depend strongly on temperature and the polarity of the solvent. The 2:3 complex [ColHFHCol](+)[FHF](-) is a contact ion pair. Collidinium hydrogen difluoride [ColH](+)[FHF](-) is an ionic salt exhibiting a strong hydrogen bond between collidinium and the [FHF](-) anion. In this complex, the anion [FHF](-) is subject to a fast reorientation rendering both fluorine atoms equivalent in the NMR time scale with an activation energy of about 5 kcal mol(-)(1) for the reorientation. Finally, collidinium dihydrogen trifluoride [ColH](+)[F(HF)(2)](-) is an ionic pair exhibiting one FHN and two FHF hydrogen bonds. Together with the [F(HF)(n)()](-) clusters studied previously (Shenderovich et al., Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys. 2002, 4, 5488), the new complexes represent an interesting model system where the evolution of scalar couplings between the heavy atoms and between the proton and the heavy atoms of hydrogen bonds can be studied. As in the related FHF case, we observe also for the FHN case a sign change of the coupling constant (1)J(FH) when the F.H distance is increased and the proton shifted to nitrogen. When the sign change occurs, that is, (1)J(FH) = 0, the heavy atom coupling constant (2)J(FN) remains very large, of the order of 95 Hz. Using the valence bond order model and hydrogen bond correlations, we describe the dependence of the hydrogen bond coupling constants, of hydrogen bond chemical shifts, and of some H/D isotope effects on the latter as a function of the hydrogen bond geometries.  相似文献

Weak hydrogen bonding in uracil and 4-cyano-4'-ethynylbiphenyl, for which single-crystal diffraction structures reveal close CH...O=C and C[triple bond]CH...N[triple bond]C distances, is investigated in a study that combines the experimental determination of 1H, 13C, and 15N chemical shifts by magic-angle spinning (MAS) solid-state NMR with first-principles calculations using plane-wave basis sets. An optimized synthetic route, including the isolation and characterization of intermediates, to 4-cyano-4'-ethynylbiphenyl at natural abundance and with 13C[triple bond]13CH and 15N[triple bond]C labeling is described. The difference in chemical shifts calculated, on the one hand, for the full crystal structure and, on the other hand, for an isolated molecule depends on both intermolecular hydrogen bonding interactions and aromatic ring current effects. In this study, the two effects are separated computationally by, first, determining the difference in chemical shift between that calculated for a plane (uracil) or an isolated chain (4-cyano-4'-ethynylbiphenyl) and that calculated for an isolated molecule and by, second, calculating intraplane or intrachain nucleus-independent chemical shifts that quantify the ring current effects caused by neighboring molecules. For uracil, isolated molecule to plane changes in the 1H chemical shift of 2.0 and 2.2 ppm are determined for the CH protons involved in CH...O weak hydrogen bonding; this compares to changes of 5.1 and 5.4 ppm for the NH protons involved in conventional NH...O hydrogen bonding. A comparison of CH bond lengths for geometrically relaxed uracil molecules in the crystal structure and for geometrically relaxed isolated molecules reveals differences of no more than 0.002 A, which corresponds to changes in the calculated 1H chemical shifts of at most 0.1 ppm. For the C[triple bond]CH...N[triple bond]C weak hydrogen bonds in 4-cyano-4'-ethynylbiphenyl, the calculated molecule to chain changes are of similar magnitude but opposite sign for the donor 13C and acceptor 15N nuclei. In uracil and 4-cyano-4'-ethynylbiphenyl, the CH hydrogen-bonding donors are sp2 and sp hybridized, respectively; a comparison of the calculated changes in 1H chemical shift with those for the sp3 hybridized CH donors in maltose (Yates et al. J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2005, 127, 10216) reveals no marked dependence on hybridization for weak hydrogen-bonding strength.  相似文献

The intermolecular hydrogen‐bonds between proflavine cation (PC) and water molecules are investigated by density functional theory (DFT) and time‐dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) methods. The ground‐state geometry optimizations, electronic excitation energies and corresponding oscillation strengths of the low‐lying electronically excited states for the isolated proflavine cation, the hydrogen‐bonded PC–H2O dimer and PC–(H2O)2 trimer are calculated. Intermolecular hydrogen bonds at the central site of proflavine molecule are found to be stronger than the peripheral site. The hydrogen bond N–H???O for the hydrogen‐bonded dimer are indicated to be weakened in the excited states, since the excitation energy is increased slightly comparing to the monomer. Hydrogen bonds of PC–(H2O)2 trimer with the same type as the dimer are strengthened in the excited state, which is demonstrated by the decrease of the excited energies. Thus, hydrogen bond strengthening and weakening are observed to reveal site dependent feature in proflavine molecule. Furthermore, the hydrogen bond at central site induces the blue‐shift of the absorption spectrum, while the ones at peripheral site induce red‐shift. Hydrogen bonds with the same type at peripheral and central sites of proflavine molecule provide different effects on the photochemical and photophysical properties of proflavine.  相似文献
