Modular <Emphasis Type="Italic">W</Emphasis> and <Emphasis Type="Italic">H</Emphasis> Type Lie Algebras

The modular Witt algebra W(p, n) and H(p, 2n) are defined on the polynomial rings Z_p[x₁,...,x_n] and Z_p[X₁,...,x_n, y₁,...,y_n] respectively. We generalize Z_p[x₁,...,xn] and Zp[x₁,...,xn, y₁,...,y_n], so we get the generalized W-type and H-type modular Lie algebras. Kernels and <Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis>-Kernels of <Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">r</Emphasis></Superscript>-ary 1-Perfect Codes

The rank of a q-ary code C is the dimension of the subspace spanned by C. The kernel of a q-ary code C of length n can be defined as the set of all translations leaving C invariant. Some relations between the rank and the dimension of the kernel of q-ary 1-perfect codes, over as well as over the prime field , are established. Q-ary 1-perfect codes of length n=(q^m − 1)/(q − 1) with different kernel dimensions using switching constructions are constructed and some upper and lower bounds for the dimension of the kernel, once the rank is given, are established.Communicated by: I.F. LP（Rn）-Boundedness of certain commutators

In this paper, the Lp(Rn)-boundedness of the commutators generalized by BMO(Rn) function and the singular integral operator T with rough kernel Ω∈ Llog+ L(Sn-1) is proved by using the Bony's formula for the paraproduct of two functions.     

Cyclic Functions in <Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Superscript>(<Emphasis Type="Bold">R</Emphasis>), 1 \le <Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis> < \infty

Functions whose translates span L ^p (R) are called L ^p-cyclic functions. For a fixed p \memb [1, \infty], we construct Schwartz-class functions which are L ^r -cyclic for r > p and not L ^r - cyclic for r \le p. We then construct Schwartz-class functions which are L ^r -cyclic for r \ge p and not L ^r -cyclic for r < p. The constructions differ for p \memb (1, 2) and p > 2.     

Cyclotomic Hecke Algebras of <Emphasis Type="Italic">G</Emphasis>(<Emphasis Type="Italic">r</Emphasis>, <Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis>, <Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis>)

In this note, we find a monomial basis of the cyclotomic Hecke algebra \({\mathcal{H}_{r,p,n}}\) of G(r,p,n) and show that the Ariki-Koike algebra \({\mathcal{H}_{r,n}}\) is a free module over \({\mathcal{H}_{r,p,n}}\), using the Gröbner-Shirshov basis theory. For each irreducible representation of \({\mathcal{H}_{r,p,n}}\), we give a polynomial basis consisting of linear combinations of the monomials corresponding to cozy tableaux of a given shape.     

The classification of <Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis>-local finite groups over the extraspecial group of order <Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis><Superscript>3</Superscript> and exponent <Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis>

In this paper we classify the p-local finite groups over p¹⁺²₊, the extraspecial group of order p³ and exponent p for odd p. This study reduces to the classification of the saturated fusion systems over p¹⁺²₊, which will be characterized by the outer automorphism group, the number of -radical subgroups and the automorphism group of each nontrivial -radical subgroup. Summability Kernels for <Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Superscript> Multipliers

In this article we study the problem of extending Fourier Multipliers on L ^p (T) to those on L ^p (R) by taking convolution with a kernel, called a summability kernel. We characterize the space of such kernels for the cases p = 1 and p = 2. For other values of p we give a necessary condition for a function to be a summability kernel. For the case p = 1, we present properties of measures which are transferred from M(T) to M(R) by summability kernels. Furthermore it is shown that every l _p sequence can be extended to some L ^q (R) multipliers for certain values of p and q.     

Lambert multipliers between <Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Superscript> spaces

In this paper Lambert multipliers acting between L ^p spaces are characterized by using some properties of conditional expectation operator. Also, Fredholmness of corresponding bounded operators is investigated.     

Diffeomorphisms with <Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Superscript>-shadowing property

We give a characterization of structurally stable diffeomorphisms by making use of the notion of L ^p -shadowing property. More precisely, we prove that the set of structurally stable diffeomorphisms coincides with the C ¹-interior of the set of diffeomorphisms having L ^p -shadowing property.     

<Emphasis Type="Italic">W</Emphasis><Superscript>1,<Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Superscript>(R<Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis></Superscript>)-boundedness for maximal functions

In this paper, we get W ^1,p (R ⁿ )-boundedness for tangential maximal function and nontangential maximal function, which improves J.Kinnunen, P.Lindqvist and Tananka’s results. Norm of Berezin transformon <Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Superscript> space

It is shown that the Berezin transform B on L ^p (D), where D is the unit disc, has norm . Furthermore, the norms of a family of operators (on L ^p (D)) whose kernels are moduli of Bergman type kernels are also calculated. Partially supported by MNZZS, Grant ON144010     

Weighted <Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Superscript> Boundedness of Marcinkiewicz Integral

A weighted norm inequality for the Marcinkiewicz integral operator is proved when belongs to . We also give the weighted L^p-boundedness for a class of Marcinkiewicz integral operators with rough kernels and related to the Littlewood-Paley -function and the area integral S, respectively.     

Semiclassical <Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Superscript> Estimates of Quasimodes on Curved Hypersurfaces

Let M be a compact manifold of dimension n, P=P(h) a semiclassical pseudodifferential operator on M, and u=u(h) an L ² normalized family of functions such that P(h)u(h) is O(h) in L ²(M) as h↓0. Let H⊂M be a compact submanifold of M. In a previous article, the second-named author proved estimates on the L ^p norms, p≥2, of u restricted to H, under the assumption that the u are semiclassically localized and under some natural structural assumptions about the principal symbol of P. These estimates are of the form Ch ^−δ(n,k,p) where k=dim H (except for a logarithmic divergence in the case k=n−2, p=2). When H is a hypersurface, i.e., k=n−1, we have δ(n,n−1, 2)=1/4, which is sharp when M is the round n-sphere and H is an equator.     

Some cyclic codes of length 2<Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis></Superscript>

Explicit expressions for 4n + 2 primitive idempotents in the semi-simple group ring $R_{2p^{n}}\equiv \frac{GF(q)[x]}{p and q are distinct odd primes; n ≥ 1 is an integer and q has order \fracf(2pⁿ)2{\frac{\phi(2p^{n})}{2}} modulo 2p ⁿ . The generator polynomials, the dimension, the minimum distance of the minimal cyclic codes of length 2p ⁿ generated by these 4n + 2 primitive idempotents are discussed. For n = 1, the properties of some (2p, p) cyclic codes, containing the above minimal cyclic codes are analyzed in particular. The minimum weight of some subset of each of these (2p, p) codes are observed to satisfy a square root bound.     

Essential norm of substitution operators on <Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Superscript> spaces

In this paper we determine the lower and upper estimates for the essential norm of finite sum of weighted Frobenius-Perron and weighted composition operators on L ^p spaces under certain conditions.     

<Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Superscript> approximation capability of RBF neural networks

L ^p approximation capability of radial basis function (RBF) neural networks is investigated. If g: R ₊¹ → R ¹ and ∈ L _loc ^p (R ⁿ ) with 1 ≤ p < ∞, then the RBF neural networks with g as the activation function can approximate any given function in L ^p (K) with any accuracy for any compact set K in R ⁿ , if and only if g(x) is not an even polynomial. On the <Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Superscript>-consistency of wavelet estimators

This paper deals with the L ^p -consistency of wavelet estimators for a density function based on size-biased random samples. More precisely, we firstly show the L ^p -consistency of wavelet estimators for independent and identically distributed random vectors in R ^d . Then a similar result is obtained for negatively associated samples under the additional assumptions d = 1 and the monotonicity of the weight function.
