Chiral Cu(II) and Zn(II) complexes with N,N′-dibenzyl-(R,R)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane ligands were synthesized and characterized. X-ray crystal structures of these complexes reveal that Cu complex has the distorted square-planar geometry and the Zn one has the nearly tetrahedral pattern. The coordination of metals to the chiral diamine ligand leads to a 5-membered metallaheterocycle of (S,S)-configuration of nitrogen atoms. Their asymmetric catalytic activities to nitroaldol reaction of benzaldehyde and nitromethane were examined. The difference of the geometry around metals leads to the opposite preferential configuration of alcohol products using these chiral complexes as asymmetric catalysts in the presence of triethylamine or diisopropylethylamine.  相似文献

Previously obtained semicarbazides derived from N-triphenylmethyl-aziridine-2-carbohydrazide were explored as ligands in Zn(II) catalyzed diastereo- and enantioselective direct aldol reactions. Complexes of aziridine-semicarbazides with Zn(II) were efficient catalysts in reactions of acetone and hydroxyacetone with NO2-substituted aromatic aldehydes in the presence of water.  相似文献

The influence of a chiral menthyl group as the pendant ester substituent on the N-acetyl-2-oxoimidazolidine-4S-carboxylate ligands in chiral dirhodium(II) imidazolidinone catalysts has been examined. Significant match/mismatch influences are evident in the observed stereocontrol for carbon–hydrogen insertion reactions with diazoacetates, but these effects are minimal in cyclopropanation reactions. Steric restrictions prevent effective enantiocontrol in hetero-Diels–Alder reactions using these menthyl-substituted catalysts.  相似文献

The enantioselective conjugate addition of dialkylzinc (R2Zn) to cyclic enones was examined using chiral binaphthyldiamine-copper(I) catalysts. Under the present reaction conditions, chiral C2-symmetric [RZn(II)]2-diamine-Cu(I) complexes were formed from chiral binaphthyldiamine, R2Zn, and copper(I or II) chloride in situ. The reaction of 2-cyclohexenone with Et2Zn proceeded smoothly in the presence of the corresponding chiral copper(I) complex (5 mol %) and achiral 2,6-diphenylaniline (10 mol %), and the desired Et-adduct was obtained with up to 76% ee in 95% yield.  相似文献

Self‐assembled copper(II) complexes are described as effective catalysts for nitroaldol (Henry) reactions on water. The protocol involves a heterogeneous process and the catalysts can be recovered and recycled without loss of activity. Further, C2‐symmetric N,N′‐substituted chiral copper(II) salan complexes are found to be more effective catalysts than chiral copper(II) salen complexes for reactions in homogeneous catalysis, with high enantioselectivities. The reactions involve bifunctional catalysis, bearing the properties of a Brønsted base, as well as a Lewis acid, to effect the reaction in the absence of external additives.  相似文献

Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) 2,5-dichlorobenzoates were prepared and their compositions and solubilities in water at 295 K were determined. The IR spectra and X-ray diffractograms of the obtained complexes were recorded. The complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) were obtained as solids with a 1:2 molar ratio of metal to organic ligand and different degrees of hydration. When heated at a heating rate of 10 K min-1, the hydrated complexes lose some (Co, Zn) or all (Ni, Cu, Cd) of the crystallization water molecules and then decompose to oxide MO (Co, Ni) or gaseous products (Cu, Zn, Cd). When heated at a heating rate of 5 K min-1, the complexes of Ni(II) and Cu(II) lose some (Ni) or all (Cu) of the crystallization water molecules and then decompose directly to MO. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

In this article the utility of water-compatible amino-acid-based catalysts was explored in the development of diastereo- and enantioselective direct aldol reactions of a broad range of substrates. Chiral C(2)-symmetrical proline- and valine-based amides and their Zn(II) complexes were designed for use as efficient and flexible chiral catalysts for enantioselective aldol reactions in water, on water, and in the presence of water. The presence of 5 mol % of the prolinamide-based catalyst affords asymmetric intermolecular aldol reactions between unmodified ketones and various aldehydes to give anti products with excellent enantioselectivities. We also demonstrate aldol reactions of more demanding substrates with high affinity to water (i.e., acetone and formaldehyde). Newly designed serine-based organocatalyst promoted aldol reaction of hydroxyacetone leading to syn-diols. For presented catalytic systems organic solvent-free conditions are also acceptable, making the elaborated methodology interesting from a green chemistry perspectives.  相似文献

The kinetics of thermal decomposition of mixed ligand complexes of Mn(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) containing triethanolamine and oxalate have been studied using thermogravimetry (TG) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The decomposition reaction in which the complexes lose one molecule of triethanolamine was found to be first order and the activation energy and pre-exponential factors were calculated using established techniques. The values of Ea obtained for these reactions using a modified form of the Horowitz and Metzger equation were 27.75, 20.54, 18.33, 25.32 and 23.25 kcal mole?1, respectively. Infrared spectral data of these complexes and the intermediates gave additional information about the coordinating nature of the ligands in these complexes.  相似文献

The hippurates of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) were isolated from the solution, their quantitative composition and the way of coordination of metal — ligand were determined and the conditions and products of thermal decomposition during heating in air atmosphere up to 1273 K were studied. The complexes of Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) heated lose some water molecules and then decompose to MO. The hippurate of Co(II) heated loses some water molecules and then decomposes to CoO with intermediate formation Co3O4.

Silica gel-bound amines phase modified with p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde (p-DMABD) was prepared based on chemical immobilization technique. The product (SG-p-DMABD) was used as an adsorbent for the solid-phase extraction (SPE) Cr(III), Cu(II), Ni(II), Pb(II) and Zn(II) prior to their determination by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). The uptake behaviors of SG-p-DMABD for extracting these metal ions were studied using batch and column procedures. For the batch method, the optimum pH range for Cr(III) and Ni(II) extraction was ≥ 3, for Cu(II), Pb(II) and Zn(II) extraction it was ≥ 4. For simultaneous enrichment and determination of all the metals on the newly designed adsorbent, the pH value if 4.0 was selected. All the metal ions can be desorbed with 2.0 mL of 0.5 mol L− 1 of HCl. The results indicate that SG-p-DMABD has rapid adsorption kinetics using the batch method. The adsorption capacity for these metal ions is in the range of 0.40-1.15 mmol g− 1, with a high enrichment factor of 125. The presence of commonly coexisting ions does not affect the sorption capacities. The detection limits of the method were found to be 1.10, 0.69, 0.99, 1.10 and 6.50 μg L− 1 for Cr(III), Cu(II), Ni(II), Pb(II) and Zn(II), respectively. The relative standard deviation (RSD) of the method under optimum conditions was 5.0% (n = 8) for all metal ions. The method was applied to the preconcentration of Cr(III), Cu(II), Ni(II), Pb(II) and Zn(II) from the certified reference material (GBW 08301, river sediment) and water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

The asymmetric cyclopropanation of styrene with alkyl diazoacetate was performed with a series of Cu(II) complexes of novel chiral ligands, which were derived from substitution of 1,3-dibromopropane, 1,2-dibromoethane, α,α′-dibromo-m-xylene and 2,6–bis(bromomethyl)pyridine with 1R, 2S-(−)-ephedrine. These prepared catalysts shown to be highly active in the enantioselective cyclopropanation with ee higher than 89% under the optimal conditions.  相似文献

A new chelating matrix has been prepared by immobilising sulfanilamide (SA) on silica gel (SG) surface modified with 3-chloropropyltrimethoxysilane as a sorbent for the solid-phase extraction (SPE) Cu(II), Zn(II) and Ni(II). The determination of metal ions in aqueous solutions was carried out by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). Experimental conditions for effective sorption of trace levels of Cu(II), Zn(II) and Ni(II) were optimised with respect to different experimental parameters using the batch and column procedures. The presence of common coexisting ions does not affect the sorption capacities. The maximum sorption capacity of the sorbent at optimum conditions was found to be 34.91, 19.07 and 23.62 mg g?1 for Cu(II), Zn(II) and Ni(II), respectively. The detection limit of the method defined by IUPAC was found to be 1.60, 0.50 and 0.61 µg L?1 for Cu(II), Zn(II) and Ni(II), respectively. The relative standard deviation (RSD) of the method under optimum conditions was 4.0% (n = 8). The method was applied to the recovery of Cu(II), Zn(II) and Ni(II) from the certified reference material (GBW 08301, river sediment) and to the simultaneous determination of these cations in different water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Deprotonation of the tridentate isoindoline ligand 1,3-bis[2-(4-methylpyridyl)imino]-isoindoline, 4'-MeLH, and reaction with hydrated zinc(II) perchlorate produces an unexpected trinuclear Zn(II) complex, [Zn(3)(4'-MeL)(4)](ClO(4))(2).5H(2)O (1), whereas reaction with hydrated copper(II) perchlorate in methanol produces the expected mononuclear product, [Cu(4'-MeL)(H(2)O)(2)]ClO(4) (2). X-ray diffraction shows that the trinuclear Zn(II) complex (1) contains a linear zinc backbone, and the arrangement of ligands about the outer chiral zinc(II) atoms is helical. The two terminal zinc ions exhibit approximate C(2) site symmetry, with tetrahedral coordination by two pyrrole and two pyridyl nitrogen atoms of the potentially tridentate isoindoline ligands. The central zinc ion exhibits approximate tetrahedral symmetry, with coordination by four pyridyl nitrogen atoms of four different isoindoline ligands. Pyridyl-pyrrole intramolecular pi-stacking interactions contribute to the stability of the trinuclear cation. The structure of the mononuclear copper(II) complex cation in 2 is best described as a distorted trigonal bipyramid. The isoindoline anion binds Cu(II) in both axial positions and one of the equatorial positions; water molecules occupy the other two equatorial positions.  相似文献

A novel chelating resin (poly-Cd(II)-DAAB-VP) was prepared by metal ion imprinted polymer (MIIP) technique. The resin was obtained by one pot reaction of Cd(II)-diazoaminobenzene-vinylpyridine with cross-linker ethyleneglycoldimethacrylate (EGDMA). Comparing with non-imprinted resin, the poly-Cd(II)-DAAB-VP has higher adsorption capacity and selectivity for Cd(II). The distribution ratio (D) values for the Cd(II)-imprinted resin show increase for Cd(II) with respect to both D values of Zn(II), Cu(II), Hg(II) and non-imprinted resin. The relatively selective factor (αr) values of Cd(II)/Cu(II), Cd(II)/Zn(II) and Cd(II)/Hg(II), are 51.2, 45.6, and 85.4, which are greater than 1. poly-Cd(II)-DAAB-VP can be used at least 20 times without considerable loss of adsorption capacity. Based on poly-Cd(II)-DAAB-VP packed columns, a highly selective solid-phase extraction (SPE) and preconcentration method for Cd(II) from aqueous solution was developed. The MIIP-SPE preconcentration procedure showed a linear calibration curve within concentration range from 0.093 to 30 μg l−1. The detection limit and quantification limit were 0.093 and 0.21 μg l−1 (3σ) for flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). The relative standard deviation of the eleven replicate determinations was 3.7% for the determination of 10 μg of Cd(II) in 100 ml water sample. Determination of Cd(II) in certified river sediment sample (GBW 08301) demonstrated that the interfering matrix had been almost removed during preconcentration. The column was good enough for Cd(II) determination in matrixes containing components with similar chemical property such as Cu(II), Zn(II) and Hg(II).  相似文献

Catalytic asymmetric Mannich-type reactions of an alpha-hydrazono ester with silicon enolates in aqueous media have been developed by using ZnF2 and chiral diamines as catalysts. In these reactions, both Zn2+ and a fluoride anion were necessary to achieve high yields and enantioselectivities, suggesting a double activation mechanism, in which Zn2+ activates the alpha-hydrazono ester and the fluoride anion simultaneously activates the silicon enolate. When chiral diamine ligands bearing methoxy-substituted aromatic rings were employed, the reactions in aqueous THF were markedly accelerated. Furthermore, the use of these diamines facilitated the asymmetric Mannich-type reactions in water without any organic cosolvents. It is noteworthy that either syn or anti adducts were stereospecifically obtained from (E)- or (Z)-silicon enolates, respectively. Interestingly, these reactions proceeded smoothly only in the presence of water. On the basis of several experimental results, it can be concluded that the reaction mechanism is likely to be a fluoride-catalyzed one, in which the ZnF2 chiral diamine complex is regenerated from the Me3SiF formed during the reaction.  相似文献

Conditions for the preparation of Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) 4-methylphthalates were investigated and their composition, solubility in water at 295 K and magnetic moments were determined. IR spectra and powder diffraction patterns of the complexes prepared with molar ratio of metal to organic ligand of 1.0:1.0 and general formula: M [ CH3C6H3(CO2)2nH2o (n=1-3) were recorded and their decomposition in air were studied. During heating the hydrated complexes are dehydrated in one (Mn, Co, Ni, Zn, Cd) or two steps (Cu) and next the anhydrous complexes decompose to oxides directly (Cu, Zn), with intermediate formation of carbonates (Mn, Cd), oxocarbonates (Ni) or carbonate and free metal (Co). The carboxylate groups in the complexes studied are mono- and bidentate (Co, Ni), bidentate chelating and bridging (Zn) or bidentate chelating (Mn, Cu, Cd). The magnetic moments for paramagnetic complexes of Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) attain values 5.92, 5.05, 3.36 and 1.96 M.B., respectively. A new series of Schiff bases derived from amino acids were developed as chiral ligands for Cu(II)-catalyzed asymmetric Henry reactions. The optimum ligand 7d exhibited outstanding catalytic efficiency in the Cu(II)-catalyzed asymmetric Henry additions of four nitroalkanes to different kinds of aldehydes to produce 76 desired adducts in high yields (up to 96%) with excellent enantioselectivities, up to 99% enantiomeric excess (ee).  相似文献

Kinetics of incorporation of Cu, Zn, Fe, Co, Ni and Mn divalent ions into coproporphyrin-I in imidazole buffer solution, pH 7.0, has been studied by monitoring the decrease in fluorescence intensity of the free base porphyrin. All reactions followed simple second-order rate law, the rate constants being decreased in the order Zn > Cu > Co > Fe > Mn, Ni. the kinetic fluorimetric method for the determination of Cu(II) and Zn(II) using their incorporation reactions into the porphyrin was developed. Initial rate and fixed-time methods were used to construct calibration graphs over the range 0-1.0 x 10(-5)M of both metals. The analytical characteristics of the method and effect of foreign ions were determined. In the presence of sodium thiosulphate as the masking reagent the determination of micromolar concentrations of Zn in the presence of a 10-fold excess of Cu is possible.  相似文献

In this work, simultaneous determination of Cu(II), Pb(II) and Zn(II) ions at low concentration levels (ppb) by square wave anodic stripping voltammetry on a Bi(III) film electrode plated in situ at a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) is described. A chemometric approach was used to overcome the overlapping peaks of Cu(II) and Bi(III), the competition of the electrodeposited Cu and Bi for the surface of the GCE and the formation of Cu‐Zn intermetallic compounds. The construction of the multivariate calibration models, based on partial least squares regression, allowed the simultaneous determination of Cu (in the concentration range 8.0 to 20.1 ppb), Pb (2.0 to 30.0 ppb) and Zn (29.7 to 90.4 ppb) with most of the prediction errors obtained in the external validation set for the three models lower than 16, 11 and 26 %, respectively. Finally, this method was used for the determination of these trace metal ions in surface river water samples with satisfactory results [errors below 10, 5 and 32 % for Cu(II), Pb(II) and Zn(II), respectively].  相似文献
