Pointwise Simultaneous Approximation by Combinations of Baskakov Operators

In this paper, we investigate the relation between the rate of convergence for the derivatives of the combinations of Baskakov operators and the smoothness for the derivatives of the functions approximated. We give some direct and inverse results on pointwise simultaneous approximation by the combinations of Baskakov operators. We also give a new equivalent result on pointwise approximation by these operators.     

Equivalent theorems on simultaneous approximation by combinations of Gamma operators

In this paper,some equivalent theorems on simultaneous approximation for combinations of Gamma operators by weighted moduli of smoothness ωr(4)λ(f,t)w(4)s(O≤λ≤1)are given.The relation between derivatives of combinations of Gamma operators and smoothness of derivatives of functions is also investigated.

关于多元Baskakov算子的加权逼近

本文首先指出一类多元Ｂａｓｋａｋｏｖ算子在通常的加权范数下是无界的．然后给出了一类新的加权范数,在此范数下它是压缩的．最后利用多元分解技巧,解决了多元Ｂａｓｋａｋｏｖ算子加权逼近的特征刻划文问题．

本文利用点态光滑模ωφλ2r(f,t)研究了Bernstein算子的r阶线性组合的点态逼近.当1-1/r≤λ≤1时,用ωφλ2r(f,t)给出了—个点态逼近等价定理.且用反例说明了当0≤λ<1-1/r 时,此结论不成立.但若限制0<αφλ2r(f,t)给出

本文主要给出了一类Ｂｅｒｎｓｔｅｉｎ－Ｄｕｒｒｍｅｙｅｒ算子的线性组合在Ｌｐ逼近意义下加Ｊａｃｏｂｉ权逼近时的特征刻划．     

关于函数及其导数用Bernstein-Durrmeyer算子的同时逼近

本文利用点态连续模研究了Ｂｅｒｎｓｔｅｉｎ－Ｄｕｒｒｍｅｙｅｒ算子的同时逼近,推广了关于有界变差函数和连续函数的结果．

The relation between derivatives of combinations of Gamma operators and smoothness of derivatives of functions is also investigated.     

On Weighted Approximation by Modified Bernstein Operators for Functions with Singularities

Della Vecchia et al. （see [2]） introduced a kind of modified Bernstein operators which can be used to approximate functions with singularities at endpoints on [0,1]. In the present paper, we obtain a kind of pointwise Stechkin-type inequalities for weighted approximation by the modified Bemsetin operators.     

Baskakov型算子加权逼近下的Stechkin-Marchaud不等式

本文利用K-泛函与光滑模的等价性,研究了Baskakov型算子加Jacobi权逼近下的Stechkin-Marchaud不等式,并得到了Baskakov型算子关于ω_φ²(f,t)_ω的逆结果.     

WEIGHTED APPROXIMATION ON SZASZ—TYPE OPERATORS

In this paper, we use weighted modules ω(?)(f,t)w to study the pointwise approximation on Szasz-type operators, and obtain the direct and converse theorem, as well as characterizations of the pointwise approximation of Jacobi-weighted Szasz-type operators.     

Weighted approximation of functions by Szász--Mirakyan-type operators

Summary We give error estimates for the weighted approximation of functions with singularities at the endpoints on the semiaxis by some modifications of Sz\'asz--Mirakyan operators. To do so, we define a new weighted modulus of smoothness and prove its equivalence to the weighted K-functional. Also, the class of functions for which the modified Sz\'asz--Mirakyan operator can be defined will be extended to a much wider set than for the original operator.     

Approximation of Generalized Bernstein Operators

This paper is devoted to study direct and converse approximation theorems of the generalized Bernstein operators Cn( f,sn,x) via so-called unified modulus ω2φλ( f,t), 0 ≤λ≤1. We obtain main results as follows ω2φλ( f,t) =O(tα)|Cn( f,sn,x)- f(x)| =O(n-12 δ1-λn(x))α,where δ2n(x) =max{φ2(x),1/n} and 0 α 2.     

关于Baskakov－Kurrmeyer算子的一致逼近

本文首先给出了Ｂａｓｋａｋｏｖ－Ｄｕｒｒｍｅｙｅｒ算子在一致副近意义下的正定理，并把它推广到一类线性组合的情形，然后讨论了它的导数与光滑模的等价关系，最后给出了二元Ｂａｓｋａｋｏｖ－Ｄｕｒｒｍｅｙｅｒ算子逼近阶的特征刻画．     

Pointwise Approximation Theorems for Combinations and Derivatives of Bernstein Polynomials

We establish the pointwise approximation theorems for the combinations of Bernstein polynomials by the rth Ditzian-Totik modulus of smoothness wФ^r（f, t） where Ф is an admissible step-weight function. An equivalence relation between the derivatives of these polynomials and the smoothness of functions is also obtained.
