Let X be a Minkowski plane, i.e., a real two dimensional normed linear space. We use projections to give a definition of the angle Aq(x, y) between two vectors x and y in X, such that x is Birkhoff orthogonal to y if and only if Aq(x,y)=π/2. In this paper we investigate the estimator for the rth power of the scale parameter in a class of exponential family under symmetric entropy loss L(θ, δ) = v(θ/δ + δ/θ - 2). An exact form of the minimum risk equivariant estimator under symmetric entropy loss is given, and the minimaxity of the minimum risk equivariant estimator is proved. The results with regard to admissibility and inadmissibility of a class of linear estimators of the form cT(X) + d are given, where T(X) Gamma(v, θ).  相似文献

In this paper, we obtain some sharp inequalities between the Ricci cur- vature and the squared mean curvature for bi-slant and semi-slant submanifolds in Kenmotsu space forms. Estimates of the scalar curvature and the k-Ricci curvature, in terms of the squared mean curvature, are also proved respectively.  相似文献

After studying in a previous work the smoothness of the space UΓ0={u∈W1,p(·)(Ω);u=0 on Γ0 Γ=Ω},where dΓ-measΓ0>0,with p(·)∈C(Ω)and p(x)>1 for all x∈Ω,the authors study in this paper the strict and uniform convexity as well as some special properties of duality mappings defined on the same space.The results obtained in this direction are used for proving existence results for operator equations having the form Ju=Nfu,where J is a duality mapping on UΓ0 corresponding to the gauge function,and Nf is the Nemytskij operator generated by a Carath′eodory function f satisfying an appropriate growth condition ensuring that Nf may be viewed as acting from UΓ0 into its dual.  相似文献

A clique-transversal set D of a graph G is a set of vertices of G such that D meets all cliques of G.The clique-transversal number,denoted by τC(G),is the minimum cardinality of a clique-transversal set in G.In this paper,we first present a lower bound on τC(G) and characterize the extremal graphs achieving the lower bound for a connected(claw,K4)-free 4-regular graph G.Furthermore,we show that for any 2-connected(claw,K4)-free 4-regular graph G of order n,its clique-transversal number equals to [n/3].  相似文献

In this paper, we establish a second-order sufficient condition for constrained optimization problems of a class of so called t-stable functions in terms of the first-order and the second-order Dini type directional derivatives. The k-ary n-cube Qkn (n ≥2 and k ≥3) is one of the most popular interconnection networks. In this paper, we consider the problem of a fault- free Hamiltonian cycle passing through a prescribed linear forest (i.e., pairwise vertex-disjoint paths) in the 3-ary n-cube Qn^3 with faulty edges. The following result is obtained. Let E0 (≠θ) be a linear forest and F (≠θ) be a set of faulty edges in Q3 such that E0∩ F = 0 and |E0| +|F| ≤ 2n - 2. Then all edges of E0 lie on a Hamiltonian cycle in Qn^3- F, and the upper bound 2n - 2 is sharp.  相似文献

In this work, using an analogue of Sadovskii's fixed point result and several important inequalities we investigate and give new existence theorems for the nonlinear operator equation F(x) =μx, (μ≥1) for some weakly sequentially continuous, weakly condensing and weakly 1-set weakly contractive operators with different boundary conditions. Abstract: We consider an approximation problem related to strongly irreducible operators, that is, does the direct sum of a strongly irreducible operator in B∞(Ω) and certain operator have a small compact perturbation which is a strongly irreducible operator in B∞(Ω)? In this paper we derive new sharp upper bounds for the first positive eigenvalue λ1^Lr of the linearized operator of the higher order mean curvature of a closed hypersurface immersed into a Riemannian space form R^(n+l)(c) (c 〉 0). Our bounds are extrinsic in the sense that they are given in terms of the higher order mean curvatures. Under the assumption Hr+2 〉 0, by establishing two valuable integral formulas, we obtain unified sharp upper bounds of λ1^Lr. We also give an estimation of the upper bounds of the first eigenvalue of a SchrSdinger-type operator, by which we prove those hypersurfaces with positive constant Hr+l in any space forms are stable if and only if they are geodesic spheres, thus generalizing the previous result obtained only in the case c≤0.  相似文献

Dirichlet series with real frequencies which represent entire functions on the complex plane C have been investigated by many authors. Several properties such as topological structures, linear continuous functionals, and bases have been considered. Le Hai Khoi derived some results with Dirichlet series having negative real frequencies which represent holomorphic functions in a half plane. In the present paper, we have obtained some properties of holomorphic Dirichlet series having positive exponents, whose coefficients belong to a Banach algebra.  相似文献
