Dehydration steps of aquacopper(II) complexes with homogeneous and heterogeneous coordination sphere are investigated from the view point of structural changes taking place under their heating to the decomposition temperature and during the dehydration. The role of loosening of intra-and intermolecular hydrogen bonds in the decomposition reaction for the structure changes of the remainder, the structural presumptions of the reactants for lower hydrates formation are discussed. Activation parameters of dehydration were found to be the lower, the smaller are the structure differences between the reactants and products. They do not reflect the bond length central atomvolatile ligand, much more the overall structure differences between the starting and resulting compounds. From all data on crystal and molecular structures of dehydrated compounds is the reaction pathway best indicated by anisotropic temperature parameters of donor atoms corrected for the thermal movement of the central atom: the higher these values in the bond direction are, the lower the values of activation energies of dehydration are.  相似文献

Inclusion compounds of the macrocyclic cavitand cucurbit[8]uril (CB[8]) with the nickel(II) complex, {trans-[Ni(en)2(H2O)2]@CB[8]}Cl2 · 23.5H2O, the copper(II) complex, {2[Cu(dien)(bipy)(H2O)]@CB[8]}(ClO4)4 · 11H2O, and the organic molecules, 2(pyCN)@CB[8]} · 16H2O and {2(bpe)@CB[8]} · 17H2O, where bipy is 4,4′-bipyridyl, pyCN is 4-cyanopyridine, and bpe is trans-1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene, were synthesized. The inclusion compounds with organic molecules were synthesized starting from inclusion compounds of cucurbit[8]uril with cyclam and ethylenediamine complexes of copper(II) and nickel(II) by the guest exchange method, which is based on the replacement of one guest with another in the cavity of the cavitand The resulting compounds were characterized by X-ray diffraction, ESR, 1H NMR, IR, and electronic absorption spectroscopy, and electrospray mass spectrometry. Photochemically induced [2+2]-cycloaddition of two 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene molecules included in cucurbit[8]uril was studied. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. A new series of binuclear unsymmetrical compartmental oxime complexes (15) [M2L] [M=Cu(II), Ni(II)] have been synthesized using mononuclear complex [ML] (L=1,4-bis[2-hydroxy-3-(formyl)-5-methylbenzyl]piperazine), hydroxylamine hydrochloride and triethylamine. In this system there are two different compartments, one has piperazinyl nitrogens and phenolic oxygens and the other compartment has two oxime nitrogens and phenolic oxygens as coordinating sites. The complexes were characterized by elemental and spectral analysis. Electrochemical studies of the complexes show two step single electron quasi-reversible redox processes at cathodic potential region. For copper complexes E1 pc=−0.18 to −0.62 and E2 pc=−1.18 to −1.25 V, for nickel complexes E1 pc=−0.40 to −0.63 and E2 pc=−1.08 to −1.10 V and reduction potentials are sensitive towards the chemical environment around the copper and nickel atoms. The nickel(II) complexes undergo two electrons oxidation. The first one electron oxidation is observed around +0.75 V and the second around +1.13 V. ESR Spectra of the binuclear copper(II) complexes [Cu2L](ClO4), [Cu2L(Cl)], [Cu2L(NO3)] shows a broad signal at g=2.1 indicating the presence of coupling between the two copper centers. Copper(II) complexes show a magnetic moment value of μeff around 1.59 B.M at 298 K and variable temperature magnetic measurements show a −2J value of 172 cm−1 indicating presence of antiferromagnetic exchange interaction between copper(II) centres.  相似文献

A series of model complexes for the type III site, in oxidised hemocyanin, containing Cu2(μ-0Ph)3+ core have been synthesised using a heptadentate ligand (H3L) formed from the Schiff base condensation of triethylenetetramine and salicylaldehyde. The ligand provides one imine and one inbuilt imidazole nitrogen and two phenolic oxygen donors with both five- and six-membered chelate rings to each metal centre. In the pentacoordinated complexes [Cu2(L)X]·nH2O, a third exogenous bridging ligand is present. The TG curve indicates the loss of lattice water molecules between 70 and 125°C. The residue after decomposition is CuO above 550°C. Theg values of theX-band EPR spectrum of [Cu2L(μ-OAc)]·2H2O in methanol glass (77 K) are typical of a variety of bridged copper(II) dimers. The copper-copper magnetic interaction is dependent on the presence and nature of X in these complexes.  相似文献

Synthesis, spectral and solution studies on 2-ethyl imidazolate-bridged (2-EtIm) homo-binuclear copper(II)-copper(II) and hetero-binuclear copper(II)-zinc(II) homologue are described. Magnetic moment values of homo-binuclear complexes indicate that the imidazolate group can mediate antiferromagnetic interactions. Optical spectra of hetero-binuclear complex at varying pH values suggest that the imidazolate-bridged complex is stable over the pH-range 7.15–10.0.  相似文献

Three cubane copper(II) clusters, namely [Cu(4)(HL')4] (1), [Cu4L2(OH)2] (2), and [Cu4L2(OMe)2] (3), of two pentadentate Schiff-base ligands N,N'-(2-hydroxypropane-1,3-diyl)bis(acetylacetoneimine) (H3L') and N,N'-(2-hydroxypropane-1,3-diyl)bis(salicylaldimine) (H3L), are prepared, structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography, and their variable-temperature magnetic properties studied. Complex 1 has a metal-to-ligand stoichiometry of 1:1 and it crystallizes in the cubic space group P43n with a structure that consists of a tetranuclear core with metal centers linked by a mu(3)-alkoxo oxygen atom to form a cubic arrangement of the metal and oxygen atoms. Each ligand displays a tridentate binding mode which means that a total of eight pendant binding sites remain per cubane molecule. Complexes [Cu4L2(OH)2] (2) and [Cu4L2(OMe)2] (3) crystallize in the orthorhombic space group Pccn and have a cubane structure that is formed by the self-assembly of two {Cu2L}+ units. The variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility data in the range 300-18 K show ferromagnetic exchange interactions in the complexes. Along with the ferromagnetic exchange pathway, there is also a weak antiferromagnetic exchange between the copper centers. The theoretical fitting of the magnetic data gives the following parameters: J1 = 38.5 and J2 = -18 cm(-1) for 1 with a triplet (S = 1) ground state and quintet (S = 2) lowest excited state; J1 = 14.7 and J2 = -18.4 cm(-1) for 2 with a triplet ground state and singlet (S = 0) lowest excited state; and J1 = 33.3 and J2 = -15.6 cm(-1) for 3 with a triplet ground state and quintet lowest excited state, where J1 and J2 are two different exchange pathways in the cubane {Cu4O4} core. The crystal structures of 2 * 6 H2O and 3 * 2 H2O * THF show the presence of channels containing the lattice solvent molecules.  相似文献

Five new complexes of composition [Cu(dpt)Ni(CN)4] (1) (dpt=dipropylenetriamine), [Cu(dien)Ni(CN)4]·2H2O (2) (dien=diethylenetriamine), [Cu(N,N′-dimeen)Ni(CN)4]·H2O (3) (N,N′-dimeen=N,N′-dimethylethylenediamine), [Cu(N,N-dimeen)Ni(CN)4]·H2O (4) (N,N-dimeen=N,N-dimethylethylenediamine) and [Cu(trimeen)Ni(CN)4] (5) (trimeen=N,N,N′-trimethylethylenediamine) have been obtained by the reactions of the mixture of Cu(ClO4)2·6H2O, appropriate amine and K2[Ni(CN)4] in water and have been characterized by IR and UV–Vis spectroscopies and magnetic measurements. The crystal structure of [Cu(dpt)Ni(CN)4] (1) has been determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis. The structure of 1 consists of a one-dimensional polymeric chain ---Cu(dpt)---NC---Ni(CN)2---CN---Cu(dpt)--- in which the Cu(II) and Ni(II) atoms are linked by CN groups. The nickel atom is four coordinate with four cyanide-carbon atoms (two cyano groups are terminal and two cyano groups (in cis fashion) are bridged) in a square-planar arrangement and the copper atom is five coordinate with two cyanide-nitrogen and three dpt-nitrogen atoms, in a distorted square-pyramidal arrangement. The temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibility (2–300 K) was measured for compound 1. The magnetic investigation showed the presence of a very weak antiferromagnetic interaction (J=−0.16 cm−1) between the copper atoms within each chain through the diamagnetic Ni(CN)4 2− ions.  相似文献

A series of mononuclear and binuclear cyclometalated platinum(II) complexes containing new terdentate meta-bis(2-pyridoxy)benzene ligands: 3,5-bis(2-pyridoxy)toluene (L1H) and 3,5-bis(2-pyridoxy)-2-dodecylbenzene (L2H): [Pt(L1)Cl] (1), [Pt(L2)Cl] (2), [Pt(L1)(CH3CN)](ClO4) (3), {[Pt(L1)]2(μ-dppm)}(ClO4)2 (4), {[Pt(L2)]2(μ-dppm)}(ClO4)2 (5), {[Pt(L1)]2(μ-pyrazole)}(ClO4) (6), {[Pt(L2)]2(μ-pyrazole)}(ClO4) (7), {[Pt(L1)]2(μ-imidazole)}(ClO4) (8) and {[Pt(L2)]2(μ-imidazole)}(ClO4) (9), have been synthesized and characterized. These ligands are coordinated to platinum(II) in a “pincer”-like manner and the presence of pyridyl donors enhances the availability of the ligand π orbitals for electronic transition. Spectroscopic properties of these cyclometalated complexes were studied. While the non-coplanar nature of the ligands hinders ligand-ligand and metal-metal interactions in these cyclometalated complexes, the presence of long hydrocarbon side chain on ligand L2H seems to alleviate such hindrance. Intermolecular π-π, and possibly Pt-Pt interactions were observed in complex 2 at high concentration.  相似文献

Several copper(I) and zinc(II) complexes with 8-(diphenylphosphino)quinoline (PPh2qn) or 8-diphenylphosphinoquinaldine (PPh2qna) have been prepared. These ligands contain both imine and phosphine moieties, which can act as coordinating groups. X-ray analysis of the Cu(I) complexes reveals that [Cu(PPh2qn)2]PF6 (Cu-1) and [Cu(PPh2qn)2]PF6 (Cu-2), coordinated by two PPh2qn and PPh2qna ligands respectively, are obtained. In the Zn(II) complexes, a structural study shows that [ZnCl2(PPh2qn)] (Zn-1), [ZnBr2(PPh2qn)] (Zn-2) and [ZnI2(PPh2qn)] (Zn-3) are coordinated by one PPh2qn ligand and two of the corresponding halogeno ligands (Cl, Br and I). In the solid state Cu-1 and Cu-2 show luminescence which is assigned to a 3MLCT transition involving π∗ of the quinoline group, as shown in the [Cu(dmp)(diphosphine)]+ complexes; due to the reduced bulkiness of the coordination sphere around the copper atom, no emission is observed in solution. Zn-1 shows a similar emission band to that of free PPh2qn at both room temperature and 77 K. It suggests the emission bands should be assigned to a ligand-centered (LC) transition. In the solid state, it is found that the emissive energy of the complexes shift to lower energy and the energy depends on the halogeno ligands in the zinc complexes.  相似文献

Two newly prepared complexes were found to exhibit strong solid state emission behavior. The complexes are iodobis-(tricyclohexylphosphine)copper(I) and iodobis-(tricyclohexylphosphine)copper(I) benzene solvate. To understand the emission behavior of these complexes, density functional theory (DFT) calculations were employed. These calculations allowed the identification of major atomic contributions to HOMO, LUMO and LUMO+n orbitals. The excitation mechanism was found to be a combination of ligand to metal charge transfer (LMCT) and metal to ligand charge transfer (MLCT), with the dominance of the former. The emission lifetimes were also investigated and the decays of the complexes were found to be a bi-exponential in both methanol and cyclohexane.  相似文献

Hydrolysis of DNA is an important enzymatic reaction , but it is exceedingly difficult to mimic in the laboratory because of the stability of hydrolysis of DNA. In this paper, the cleavage activity of complexes formed between Cu(Ⅱ) and four different amino acid or amino acid methyl ester on DNA is studied by gel elec-trophoresis. It is found that DNA could be cleaved by Cu(Ⅱ)-L-His and Cu(Ⅱ)-L-His methyl ester complexes and the efficiency of cleavage is largely dependent on the metal ion-to-ligand ratio. Further experiments show that the cleavage of DNA mediated by Cu(Ⅱ)-L-His complexes occurs via a hydrolytic mechanism and the active chemical species that affects DNA cleavage is proposed to be MI2H and ML2H22 .  相似文献

A number of copper(II) complexes of some aromatic diamines have been prepared and characterized. The thermal stabilities of the complexes were studied and discussed in terms of covalent bond character, chelate ring size and angle strain. On the other hand, the effective role of the anions on the decomposition pathways was also considered. Moreover, the nature of interaction of the solvent of crystallization has also been investigated.

Inclusion compounds with the general formula Cd(NH2(CH2) n NH2)Ni(CN)4·xG were prepared forn=4 to 8, and for G of such an aromatic guest molecule as pyrrole, benzene, aniline, toluene, toluidine, xylene, xylidine, dichlorobenzene, trimethylbenzene, tetramethylbenzene, ethylbenzene, styrene, or isopropylbenzene, with varyingx. Generally, longer chain lengths of ,-diamine in the host permit the inclusion of bulkier guest molecules. However, the presence of an amino group on the phenyl ring of the guest appears to impart a special affinity with the hosts.  相似文献

Double‐stranded copper(II) string complexes of varying nuclearity, from di‐ to tetranuclear species, have been prepared by the CuII‐mediated self‐assembly of a novel family of linear homo‐ and heteropolytopic ligands that contain two outer oxamato and either zero ( 1 b ), one ( 2 b ), or two ( 3 b ) inner oxamidato donor groups separated by rigid 2‐methyl‐1,3‐phenylene spacers. The X‐ray crystal structures of these CuIIn complexes (n=2 ( 1 d ), 3 ( 2 d ), and 4 ( 3 d )) show a linear array of metal atoms with an overall twisted coordination geometry for both the outer CuN2O2 and inner CuN4 chromophores. Two such nonplanar allsyn bridging ligands 1 b – 3 b in an anti arrangement clamp around the metal centers with alternating M and P helical chiralities to afford an overall double meso‐helicate‐type architecture for 1 d – 3 d . Variable‐temperature (2.0–300 K) magnetic susceptibility and variable‐field (0–5.0 T) magnetization measurements for 1 d – 3 d show the occurrence of S=nSCu (n=2–4) high‐spin ground states that arise from the moderate ferromagnetic coupling between the unpaired electrons of the linearly disposed CuII ions (SCu=1/2) through the two anti m‐phenylenediamidate‐type bridges (J values in the range of +15.0 to 16.8 cm?1). Density functional theory (DFT) calculations for 1 d – 3 d evidence a sign alternation of the spin density in the meta‐substituted phenylene spacers in agreement with a spin polarization exchange mechanism along the linear metal array with overall intermetallic distances between terminal metal centers in the range of 0.7–2.2 nm. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) and rotating‐disk electrode (RDE) electrochemical measurements for 1 d – 3 d show several reversible or quasireversible one‐ or two‐electron steps that involve the consecutive metal‐centered oxidation of the inner and outer CuII ions (SCu=1/2) to diamagnetic CuIII ones (SCu=0) at relatively low formal potentials (E values in the range of +0.14 to 0.25 V and of +0.43 to 0.67 V vs. SCE, respectively). Further developments may be envisaged for this family of oligo‐m‐phenyleneoxalamide copper(II) double mesocates as electroswitchable ferromagnetic ‘metal–organic wires’ (MOWs) on the basis of their unique ferromagnetic and multicenter redox behaviors.  相似文献

The structure of the copper(II) chloride-triphenylphosphine-N-(2-pyrimidyl)imine complex in crystal and solution was investigated by x-ray analysis and EPR. It was found that despite the difference in the structures of the dissolved and crystalline complexes, the exocyclic nitrogen atom is contained in the coordination sphere of the metal together with the nitrogen atom of the heterocycle in both cases due to the electronic effect of the phosphorus atom. In the crystal, the copper atom is coordinated with two chlorine atoms and two molecules of the ligand, and the distance from the copper cation to the nitrogen atoms of the pyrimidine rings is significantly less than the distance to the nitrogen atoms of the phosphinimine groups (2.0 and 2.8 Å, respectively). The coordination polyhedron formed as a result is a strongly distorted axially asymmetric octahedron. In dissolution, the chlorine anions are substituted by molecules of the solvent, the complex acquires axial symmetry, and four nitrogen atoms from two ligands form a planar square with a copper(II) cation in the center.A.
