In this paper we discuss the SU(3) limit of U(6/20) supersymmetry. First we derive the reduction formulas of the relevant group chain. Then we discuss the dynamical symmetry. We discuss the CP violation problem of SU(7) models of Grand Unified Theoryincluding four genarations[1,2]. It is shown that if we properly choose the complex phaseangles in quark mass matrix elements, we are able to obtain the CP violation phaseangle which agrees well with the experimental value. If the Higgs potential is pro-perly choosen we find that the strong CP violation parameter θ is equal to zero atthe tree level.  相似文献

An improved version of the grand unification composite model propose earlier is suggested. Under the hypothesis of partly broken global chiral symmetry, we give the four family of Fermions at low energies to realize unification of four family of Fermions. Neutrino may acquire naturally the Dirac mass. Proton lifetime and weak neutral current at low energy are consistent with experimental results.  相似文献

In this letter, we propose a Higgs mechanism which is different from the usualone at the first step of spontaneous symmetry breaking. The continuous variable representation and the geometrical interpretation of the Elliott SU(3) model are given by virtue of the generator coordinate method. A model of grand unified theory based on SU(6) gauge group is proposed. It can accommodate two generations of ordinary fermions with VA weak coupling and two generations of anomalous fermions with V+A weak coupling. In this model a new discrete symmetry is introduced which insures existence of fermions with lower masses when SU(6) gauge symmetry is spontaneously broken. We choose simple Higgs fields with appropriate vacuum expectation values so that the masses of anomalous fermions are heavier than those of ordinary fermions. This model also gives the same value of Weinberg angle, sin2θw=3/8, as in the usual SU(5) grand unified model at the grand unified scale.  相似文献

In this paper a unified electro-weak model for leptons based on the SU(3) gaugegroup is suggested by means of four kinds of realization for the generators of thegroup. For all low energy electro-weak processes, this model predicts the same resultsas the conventional Weinberg-Salam model does. The Weinberg angle is shown to be sin2θw=1/4 in a natural way. When the Higgs self potential respects a discrete symme-try Φ→-Φ, a new conserved quantum number called weak strangeness emerges fromthe model after spontaneous symmetry breaking. In the present model there existanother four heavy vector gauge bosons V± and U±± together with some heavyfermions and Higgs scalars, which have non vanishing weak strangeness quantumnumbers. These weak strange particles have no direct couplings with leptons. Theirexistence will not influence the low energy electro-weak processes. Nevertheless, theycan be produced in pairs in high energy collisions and the lightest of them should bestable if the conservation of weak strangeness is exact. The experimental implicationsand the possibility of violation of the conservation of weak strangeness are also dis-cussed.  相似文献

A SU (3) lepton model is discussed in which the left- and right-handed leptons are on equal footing and sin2θw=1/4 is obtained. Dynamical symmetry breaking is investigated to see if lepton mass difference can be generated in this way so as to reduce the number of Higgs scalars and Yukawa coupling constants. Calculating the effective potential up to two-loop graphs gives the results that composite Goldstone bosons can exist only when the remained Yukawa coupling constant lies within a certain range. The corresponding heavy lepton mass obtained is about 130 GeV.  相似文献

The Prasad-Sommerfield-like, colorless anl finite-mass dyon anolytic solution in SU(5) ground unified model is found. It is the only physical dyon solution so far. A relativistic equation of motion of a two particle system under the constraints pi2-mi2-U(x2)=0.(i=1,2), where U(x2) is an infinite spherical square well poten-tial, is applied to the SU(4) quark model of mesons. A set of linear mass relations areobtained. Instead of the linear relation between J and M2, the Regge trajectory ob-tained is a relation between pnl2 and M2, where ζnlπ are zeros of the spherical Besselfunctions. A simple method is proposed to obtain the classical monopole and dyon solutions in the case of SU(4) symmetry, which can be systematically generalized to the general case of SU(N). The solutions obtained in the SU(4) case correspond to magnetic charges of ±1/g,±3/(2g),±1/(√2g).  相似文献

The feature of Manton's lattice action in the SU(5) four-dimensional lattice gauge theory is investigated by means of Monte Carlo simulation. A rather smooth curve of the internal energy is obtained, no discontinuity in the average action perplaquette is found in opposition to the resultes of usually adopted Wilson's action. A quark-quark potential is derived from the linear expression of the Lagrangian Which is invariant under the SU(3)L×SU(3)R infinitesimal transformation,and further used to make a qualitative analysis on the Λ-N interaction.The result shows that the SU(3)chiral scalar fields are important in explaining the spin-dependence feature of the Λ-N interaction.  相似文献
