The process of light neutral vector meson electroproduction is studied in the framework of QCD factorization in which the amplitude factorizes in a convolution of the nonperturbative meson distribution amplitude and generalized parton densities with perturbatively calculable hard-scattering amplitudes. We derive a complete set of hard-scattering amplitudes at next-to-leading order (NLO) for the production of vector mesons, V0, ω, ?.  相似文献

The four-point vector correlators in QCD have been derived from the AdS/QCD correspondence. It is shown that meson poles are correctly reproduced. The final expression also suggests a nonzero amplitude in the limit of zero virtuality of two longitudinal photons. This fact does not mean that real longitudinal photons can be produced, absorbed or scattered.  相似文献

We calculate the weak form factors of the decays Be(B) → Dlv^- by using the chiral current correlator within the framework of the QCD light-cone sum rules (LCSRs). The expressions of the form factors only depend on the leading twist distribution amplitude (DA) of the D meson. Three models of the D-meson distribution amplitude are employed. Our prediction, by using the D-meson distribution amplitude with the exponential suppression at the end points, favours the three-points sum rule (3PSR) approach with the Coulomb corrections included, and is compatible with other approaches.  相似文献

The light-cone QCD sum rules approach improved by using the chiral current correlator is systematically reviewed and applied to the calculation of all the heavy-to-light form factors, including all the semileptonic and penguin ones. By choosing suitable chiral currents, the light-cone sum rules for all the form factors are greatly simplified and depend mainly on one leading-twist distribution amplitude of the light meson. As a result, relations between these form factors arise naturally. At the considered accuracy, these relations reproduce the results obtained in the literature. Moreover, since the explicit dependence on the leading-twist distribution amplitudes is preserved, these relations may be more useful to simulate the experimental data and extract information on the distribution amplitude.  相似文献

Based on the generalized vector meson dominance model in QCD, we study the photoproduction of vector meson Υ off the proton by use of the QCD-inspired model in which the contributions from quark–quark, gluon–gluon and quark–gluon interference term to observable are taken into consideration. Calculations are performed for total cross section σtot, differential cross section dσ/dt, ratio of the real part to imaginary part of forward scattering amplitude ρ and nuclear slop parameter function β. We analyze the individual contributions from quark gluon degrees of freedom and the QCD Odderon to the total cross section σtot (s), differential cross section dσ/dt, ratio of the real part to imaginary part of the forward scattering amplitude ρ, and nuclear slop parameter function β. The mediators of interactions between projectiles (the quark and antiquark pair fluctuated from the real photon) and the proton target (three quark system) are the tensor Glueball and Odderon instead of using the usual Pomeron exchange. The theoretical predictions for σtot(s) are consistent with the experimental data within error bars of the data. The data for dσ/dt, β and ρ are urgently needed. The gluon–gluon interaction makes a significant contribution to the observables while the Odderon contribution is negligibly small. Therefore, we may conclude that it is impossible to find the QCD Odderon in the γ+p→Υ+p process as suggested before.  相似文献

We present a recent investigation on properties of nuclear matter within a chrial soliton approach which includes the explicit scalar dilaton-quarkonium meson saturating the quark loop contribution to the scale anomaly of QCD. We discuss the binding energy per nucleon, the compressibility of nuclear matter and the behavior of meson–nucleon coupling constants according to the density variations in the system.  相似文献

The couplings gρHH of the ρ meson with a scalar meson H are calculated in a holographic dual of QCD in which the Regge trajectories for the mesons are manifest. In contrast to the conclusion in general AdS/QCD models, the resulting couplings grow linearly with the quantum number of excited H; thus they are far from universal. This non-universality seems to result from the disappearance of an explicit cutoff in the holographic dimension in this model. Correspondingly, the ρ-dominance for the electromagnetic form factors of H does not hold any more, even in an apparent sign-alternating manner. With these couplings at hand, the asymptotic behavior of the form factors can easily be calculated. The form factor exhibits the 1/Q(2Δ-2) behavior, which is in accordance with the scaling behavior of the fixed-angle scattering amplitude based on the AdS/CFT correspondence. It is also pointed out that the asymptotic behavior can be matched to the results of perturbative QCD, if the conformal dimension Δ of the operator is replaced by the combination τ+L of the meson. We study the vector meson electro-production off the proton in a QCD inspired model.A calculation of the differential cross section is performed for the J/ψ,φ meson off the proton.The theoretical results are consistent with the experimental data,and remind us to consider the contribution from the tensor glueball and Odderon to the differential cross section.Since gluons interact among themselves via self-interaction,the gluons can form a glueball with quantum numbers IG,JPC =0+,2++,with a decay width Γt =100 MeV and mass of mG = 2.23 GeV.The three gluons can form a three gluon color bound state with charge conjugation quantum number C =-1.This study is quite important to verify the validity of QCD and to search for new particles(tensor glueball and Odderon) as well as quest for new physics.  相似文献

We present an improved calculation of the strong coupling constants g_(D~*Dp) and g_(B~*Bp) in light-cone sum rules, including one-loop QCD corrections of leading power with meson distribution amplitudes. We further compute subleading-power corrections from two-particle and three-particle higher-twist contributions at leading order up to twist-4 accuracy. The next-to-leading order corrections to the leading power contribution numerically offset the subleading-power corrections to a certain extent, and our numerical results are consistent with those of previous studies on sum rules. A comparison between our results and existing model-dependent estimations is also made.  相似文献

In this paper we study the semileptonic decays of the Bc meson in the light-cone sum rule (LCSR) approach. The result for each channel depends on the corresponding distribution amplitude (DA) of the final meson. For the case of Bc decaying into a pseudoscalar meson, to twist-3 accuracy only the leading twist distribution amplitude is involved if we start from a chiral current. If we choose a suitable chiral current in the vector meson case, the main twist-3 contributions are also eliminated and we can consider the leading twist contribution only. The leading twist distribution amplitudes of the charmonium and other heavy mesons are given by a model approach in a reasonable way. Employing this charmonium distribution amplitude we find a cross section that is consistent with Belle and BaBar data. Based on this model, we calculate the form factors for various Bc decay modes in the corresponding regions. Extrapolating the form factors to the whole kinetic regions, we get the decay widths and branching ratios for various Bc decay modes including their τ modes when they are kinematically accessible. With sufficiently light u and d quarks the isovector (a0) and isosinglet (f0) scalar meson propagators are dominated at large distances by two-meson states. In the staggered fermion formulation of lattice QCD, taste-symmetry breaking causes a proliferation of multihadron states that complicates the analysis of these channels. Of special interest is the bubble contribution, which makes a considerable contribution to these channels. Using numerical simulation we have measured the correlators for both a0 and f0 channels in the “Asqtad” improved staggered fermion formulation in a MILC fine (a=0.09 fm) lattice ensemble. We analyze those correlators using rooted staggered chiral perturbation theory (rSχPT) and achieve chiral couplings that are well consistent with previous determinations.  相似文献

We investigate the reaction where PS denotes a pseudoscalar meson , , , or and X either a proton or resonance or continuum state into which the proton can go by diffractive excitation. At high energies photon and odderon exchange contribute to the reaction. The photon exchange contribution is evaluated exactly using data for the total virtual photon-proton absorption cross section. The odderon exchange contribution is calculated in nonperturbative QCD, using functional integral techniques and the model of the stochastic vacuum. For the proton we assume a quark-diquark structure as suggested by the small odderon amplitude in pp and forward scattering. We show that odderon exchange leads to a much larger inelastic than elastic PS production cross section. Observation of our reaction at HERA would establish the soft odderon as an exchange object on an equal footing with the soft pomeron and would give us valuable insight into both the nucleon structure and the mechanism of high energy diffractive scattering. The electromagnetic form factor of the π meson is calculated in terms of the QCD sum rules for a pion axial-vector current with allowance made for the radiative QCD corrections. The derived dependence of the pion form factor on the square of the transferred momentum Q2 is in good agreement with the experimental data. The QCDc orrections are shown to make a large contribution, and they should be taken into account in a rigorous theoretical analysis.  相似文献

We calculate the cross section of the exclusive process e ++e ?J/ψ+η c at the leading order approximation within the QCD light-cone sum rules approach. It is found that the form factor F VP(V=J/ψ,P=η c ) depends mainly on the behavior of the twist-2 distribution amplitude of the η c meson at the scale of this process. Thus in order to obtain a reliable estimation of the cross section, it is important to have a realistic distribution amplitude of the η c meson and to deal with the evolution of the distribution amplitude to the effective energy scale of the process. Our results show that one can obtain a compatible prediction with the Belle and BaBar experimental data.  相似文献

From QCD we obtain a temperature-dependent quark potential. The transition potential corresponding to quark-antiquark annihilation and creation is derived in perturbative QCD. The experimental ground-state meson masses are reproduced and the experimental data of elastic phase shifts for ππ scattering near the threshold energy in vacuum can be accounted for in the Born approximation. Starting from S-matrix element, we derive the transition amplitude and the cross section for the scattering. Unpolarised cross sections for reactions involving π, ρ, K and K* are calculated. Remarkable temperature dependence of the cross sections is found.  相似文献

We present an analysis of twist-2, leading order QCD amplitudes for hard exclusive leptoproduction of mesons in terms of double/nonforward parton distribution functions. After reviewing some general features of nonforward nucleon matrix elements of twist-2 QCD string operators, we propose a phenomenological model for quark and gluon nonforward distribution functions. The corresponding QCD evolution equations are solved in the leading logarithmic approximation for flavor nonsinglet distributions. We derive explicit expressions for hard exclusive , , and neutral vector meson production amplitudes and discuss general features of the corresponding cross sections. We calculate the , (P is the light pseudoscalar meson, V the light vector meson) form factors in the large-recoil limit in the perturbative QCD approach, including both the vector (axial vector) and tensor operators. In general there are two leading components and for the B meson wave functions. We consider both contributions of them. Sudakov effects ( and threshold resummation) are included to regulate the soft end-point singularity. By choosing the hard scale as the maximum virtualities of the internal particles in the hard b quark decay amplitudes, Sudakov factors can effectively suppress the long-distance soft contribution. The hard contribution can be dominant in these approaches.
