光标签交换(OLS)对基于分组的光交换是一种有吸引力的解决方案。标记比率调制(MRM)的方法是将标签信息叠加到载荷信息上。为了提高有效比特率,对标记比率调制进行了改进,将原来的四脉冲位置调制(4PPM)码改为一个新的5b8b码,使编码效率提高到了62.5%。同时,将偏振复用(PDM)与MRM结合使用,使比特率提高了一倍。标签接收器通过低速接收器直接接收来自偏振复用的标签信号,不需要使用偏振解复用,从而降低了成本。改进后的MRM在保持了MRM优点的同时,载荷的有效比特率比4PPM码的MRM提高了250%。仿真结果验证了改进的基于MRM的OLS的可行性。 相似文献

对于高速光传输,直接检测的光正交频分复用系统(direct detection optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing, DDO-OFDM)中的偏振相关损耗(polarization dependent loss, PDL)与偏振模色散相互作用,对系统传输带来较大影响。对DDO-OFDM系统中PDL与一阶PMD作用机理和数学模型进行了分析,并通过数字仿真加以验证。结果表明:在PDL与PMD联合作用下,对OFDM信号幅度及相位均产生影响,通过发送导频序列可有效实现信号均衡;由于输出偏振态随频率产生旋转,PMD效应一定程度上缓解PDL所致系统损伤,差分群时延为50 ps条件下,以10 Gb/s的速率在单模光纤传输480 km,DDO-OFDM系统Q值提高约0.8 dB。 相似文献

提出一种应用于强度调制直接检测光正交频分复用(IMDD-OFDM)传输系统的低开支、高准确度的信道估计算法.该算法充分考虑系统噪声特性,利用梳状导频插入结构,结合符号间平均与子载波间频域线性插值的思想,在低开支导频条件下实现较高的估计准确度.仿真和理论推导结果表明:与传统平均算法和直接线性插值算法相比,基于梳状导频先平均后线性插值的算法估计出来的信道特性更能接近实际信道的.实验结果表明:在误码率为3.8×10~(-3)处,本文所提出的算法仅使用0.78%导频开支即可与使用20%导频开支的平均算法获得相同的接收灵敏度;同时,与传统估计算法相比,该算法与导频开支无关,能较好抗系统中的高斯噪声,获得与真实信道较为接近的估计性能. 相似文献

提出了一种新的光突发交换网络信令协议,即DSH区分服务混合信令.根据实时(电路仿真)业务和非实时(数据)业务对QoS的不同要求分别采用TAW和JET信令控制协议,尤其是对TAW信令做了相应改进,使之更适合于OBS网络承载电路仿真业务.利用电路仿真业务发出的呼叫请求,在端到端的波长通道中建立虚通路,并在整个呼叫持续过程中保持虚通路的连接,这样可以保证电路仿真业务的端到端时延最小并避免信息丢失.通过理论分析和系统仿真,研究了DSH混合信令的性能及其对波长利用率和实时业务呼损率的影响. 相似文献

Dispersive channels deteriorate the bit error rate (BER) performance of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) systems with insufficient cyclic prefix (CP). In this paper, we first analyze the intensity of the intersymbol interference (ISI) and intercarrier interference (ICI). For performance enhancement, an effective maximum-likelihood (ML) detection method, named reduced-state maximum-likelihood (RSML), is proposed to detect all target subcarriers parallelly. For each target subcarrier, the proposed RSML detects a few nearby subcarriers jointly, while the remaining subcarriers are directly determined by using pre-detection values. Simulations results show that the proposed RSML achieves a significant performance improvement in terms of BER compared to the existing detection methods and is robust to various channel models and CP lengths. In particular, for certain channel conditions with insufficient CP, the detection performance of RSML is even better than conventional detection with sufficient CP because additional frequency diversity gain is obtained from joint detection at the expense of complexity. 相似文献

An extended reach 10 Gb/s wavelength division multiplexing passive optical networks (WDM-PONs) system based on reflective semiconductor optical amplifier (RSOA) is proposed by using power pre-emphasized orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal. Experimental results show that the proposed technique can effectively enhance the system performance against the limited bandwidth and chirp induced fading effect from direct modulation of RSOA. The receiver sensitivity is improved by 5 dB at the limit of BER for forward error correction (FEC) code over the 60 km and 85 km fiber transmission without any dispersion compensation module. 相似文献

As a multi-carrier modulation technique, a high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) is a common issue suffered by orthogonal frequency division multiplexing with index modulation (OFDM-IM) due to its system structure. High PAPR may cause signal distortion, which affects correct symbol transmission. This paper tries to inject dither signals to the inactive (idle) sub-carriers, which is a unique transmission structure of OFDM-IM, to reduce PAPR. Unlike the previous works, which utilize all idle sub-carriers, the proposed PAPR reduction scheme utilizes selected partial sub-carriers. This method performs well in terms of bit error rate (BER) performance and energy efficiency, which are obvious drawbacks of the previous PAPR reduction works due to the introduction of dither signals. In addition, in this paper, phase rotation factors are combined with the dither signals to compensate for the PAPR reduction performance degradation due to the insufficient use of partial idle sub-carriers. Moreover, an energy detection scheme is designed and proposed in this paper in order to distinguish the index of phase rotation factor used for transmission. It is shown by extensive simulation results that the proposed hybrid PAPR reduction scheme is able to implement an impressive PAPR reduction performance among existing dither signa-based schemes as well as classical distortion-less PAPR reduction schemes. In addition, the proposed method obtains better error performance and energy efficiency than that of the previous works. A hybrid OFDM–IsOWC system incorporating diverse modulation schemes like optical double side band (ODSB), optical tandem side band (OTSB) and optical single side band (OSSB) is carried out to optimize a long reach high speed inter-satellite link (ISL) with acceptable SNR and BER. The proposed system is also reported under the influence of antenna efficiency and pointing error at varied values of power levels. Simulations point toward that the proposed hybrid OFDM–OSSB–IsOWC transmission system promises significantly enhanced ISL link compared to conventional IsOWC systems. 相似文献

针对光码分多址(OCDMA)的多用户干扰问题,提出一种引入光硬限幅器、基于最大值判决的光码分多址并行干扰抑制系统.该系统在发送端对比特“0”和比特“1”分别使用一个地址码和它的移位变形进行映射,以避免发送比特“0”时无光脉冲通过的问题,实现并行干扰抑制;在接收端光电检测器前引入一个光硬限幅器,判决电路采用最大值判决,以避免门限判决所引起的误判,进一步减小多用户干扰.阐述了其工作原理,系统采用光正交码作为地址码,PIN光电检测器,分析推导了系统的误码率表达式,进而对新型系统的多用户干扰抑制作用进行误码性能仿真.仿真结果表明,当信号光子到达率为25时,新型系统比常规系统的误码性能改善10个数量级以上,比常规并行干扰抑制系统改善2个数量级以上. 相似文献
