We present an extrapolation theory that allows us to obtain, from weighted Lp inequalities on pairs of functions for p fixed and all A weights, estimates for the same pairs on very general rearrangement invariant quasi-Banach function spaces with A weights and also modular inequalities with A weights. Vector-valued inequalities are obtained automatically, without the need of a Banach-valued theory. This provides a method to prove very fine estimates for a variety of operators which include singular and fractional integrals and their commutators. In particular, we obtain weighted, and vector-valued, extensions of the classical theorems of Boyd and Lorentz-Shimogaki. The key is to develop appropriate versions of Rubio de Francia's algorithm.  相似文献

In this paper we study conditions guaranteeing that functions defined on a Lipschitz domain Ω have boundary traces in Hardy and Besov spaces on ∂Ω. In turn these results are used to develop a new approach to the theory of compensated compactness and the theory of non-locally convex Hardy and Bergman type spaces.  相似文献

Multilinear interpolation is a powerful tool used in obtaining strong-type boundedness for a variety of operators assuming only a finite set of restricted weak-type estimates. A typical situation occurs when one knows that a multilinear operator satisfies a weak Lq estimate for a single index q (which may be less than one) and that all the adjoints of the multilinear operator are of similar nature, and thus they also satisfy the same weak Lq estimate. Under this assumption, in this note we give a general multilinear interpolation theorem which allows one to obtain strong-type boundedness for the operator (and all of its adjoints) for a large set of exponents. The key point in the applications we discuss is that the interpolation theorem can handle the case q?1. When q>1, weak Lq has a predual, and such strong-type boundedness can be easily obtained by duality and multilinear interpolation (cf. For the nonlinear Schrödinger equation iutu+λα|u|u=0 in RN, local existence of solutions in Hs is well known in the Hs-subcritical and critical cases 0<α?4/(N−2s), where 0<s<min{N/2,1}. However, even though the solution is constructed by a fixed-point technique, continuous dependence in Hs does not follow from the contraction mapping argument. In this paper, we show that the solution depends continuously on the initial value in the sense that the local flow is continuous HsHs. If, in addition, α?1 then the flow is locally Lipschitz.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to present constructions of wavelet frames on a Lipschitz curve Γ. As applications, we obtain characterizations of the Besov and Triebel-Lizorkin spaces on Lipschitz curves, and the trace theorem on Γ of the Besov spaces onR 2.  相似文献

We prove that functions with bounded deformationu: Ω → ℝn, Ω ⊂ ℝn, i.e., such mappings that the symmetric part of the gradient is a measure, are approximately differentiable a.e. Then we generalize the result to a more general class of functions. This research was carried out while the author stayed in the ICTP in Trieste in 1995. We consider nonlinear elliptic equations of p  -Laplacian type that are not necessarily of variation form when the nonlinearity is allowed to be discontinuous and the boundary of the domain can go beyond the Lipschitz category. Under smallness in the BMO nonlinearity and sufficient flatness of the Reifenberg domain, we obtain the global weighted LqLq estimates with q∈(p,∞)q(p,) for the gradient of weak solutions.  相似文献

In this article, we establish the weighted Trudinger–Moser inequality of the scaling invariant form including its best constant and prove the existence of a maximizer for the associated variational problem. The non-singular case was treated by Adachi and Tanaka (1999) [1] and the existence of a maximizer is a new result even for the non-singular case. We also discuss the relation between the best constants of the weighted Trudinger–Moser inequality and the Caffarelli–Kohn–Nirenberg inequality in the asymptotic sense.  相似文献

We consider the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator M on Musielak-Orlicz Spaces Lφ(Rd). We give a necessary condition for the continuity of M on Lφ(Rd) which generalizes the concept of Muckenhoupt classes. In the special case of generalized Lebesgue spaces Lp(⋅)(Rd) we show that this condition is also sufficient. Moreover, we show that the condition is “left-open” in the sense that not only M but also Mq is continuous for some q>1, where .  相似文献

A Tychonoff space X is RG if the embedding of C(X)→C(Xδ) is an epimorphism of rings. Compact RG-spaces are known and easily described. We study the pseudocompact RG-spaces. These must be scattered of finite Cantor Bendixon degree but need not be locally compact. However, under strong hypotheses, (countable compactness, or small cardinality) these spaces must, indeed, be compact. The main theorems shows, how to construct a suitable maximal almost disjoint family, and apply it to obtain examples of RG-spaces that are almost compact, locally compact, non-compact, almost-P, and of Cantor Bendixon degree 2. More complicated examples of pseudocompact non-compact RG-spaces ensue.  相似文献

We establish the global Hessian estimate in Orlicz spaces for a fourth-order parabolic system with discontinuous tensor coefficients in a non-smooth domain under the assumptions that the coefficients have small weak BMO semi-norms, the boundary of a domain is δ-Reifenberg flat for δ>0 small and the given Young function satisfies some moderate growth condition. As a corollary we obtain an optimal global W2,p regularity for such a system.  相似文献

In this paper we give global characterisations of Gevrey–Roumieu and Gevrey–Beurling spaces of ultradifferentiable functions on compact Lie groups in terms of the representation theory of the group and the spectrum of the Laplace–Beltrami operator. Furthermore, we characterise their duals, the spaces of corresponding ultradistributions. For the latter, the proof is based on first obtaining the characterisation of their α-duals in the sense of Köthe and the theory of sequence spaces. We also give the corresponding characterisations on compact homogeneous spaces.  相似文献

It is shown that spaces of quasianalytic ultradifferentiable functions of Roumieu type ℰ{w}(Ω), on an open convex set , satisfy some new (Ω) -type linear topological invariants. Some consequences for the splitting of short exact sequences of these spaces as well as for the structure of the spaces are derived. In particular, Fréchet quotients of ℰ{w}(Ω) have property (), while dual Fréchet quotients have property () of Vogt. The work of P. In this paper, the authors characterize, in terms of pointwise inequalities, the classical Besov spaces and Triebel–Lizorkin spaces for all s∈(0,1) and p,q∈(n/(n+s),∞], both in Rn and in the metric measure spaces enjoying the doubling and reverse doubling properties. Applying this characterization, the authors prove that quasiconformal mappings preserve on Rn for all s∈(0,1) and q∈(n/(n+s),∞].
