Various homoallylic alcohols and homobenzylic alcohols were prepared by the reaction between aldehydes and allylic or benzylic halides in the presence of samarium diiodide. This iodide is also a very good reagent for formation of pinacols from aldehydes or ketones. The reactions are especially fast and selective in the case of substituted benzaldehydes. The reactivities of various nitrogen functional groups (imine, oxime, nitro, azo, cyano) towards SmI2 were also examined.  相似文献

1-(2-Thienyl)-2-nitroethylene was obtained by the reaction of nitrogen tetroxide with 2-vinylthiophene and 3-(2-thienyl)acrylic acid. The nitration of thenylideneacetone leads to 1-(2-thienyl)-2-nitro-3-methylpropen-3-one, whereas the products of the reaction of nitrogen tetroxide with thenylideneacetothienone and-acetophenone are mixtures of isomers with a nitro group attached to the ethylene bond or in the thiophene ring. 5-Nitro-2-thienyl analogs of chalcone were isolated as products of the nitration of benzene-ring-substituted thenylidene-acetophenones.Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 1, pp. 41–43, January, 1979.  相似文献

The heterogeneous carbonyl allylation of aldehydes and ketones with allylic chlorides was achieved in DMF using SnCl2 as reducing agent at 25-40 °C in the presence of a 3-(2-aminoethylamino)propyl-functionalized MCM-41-immobilized palladium(II) complex [MCM-41-2N-Pd(II)], yielding a variety of homoallylic alcohols in good to high yields. This heterogeneous palladium catalyst exhibited higher activity than (N-propylethylenediamine)PdCl2 and can be recovered and recycled by a simple filtration of the reaction solution and used for at least 5 consecutive trials without any decreases in activity.  相似文献

beta-Phenylseleno-alpha-tolylsulfonyl-substituted alkenes were synthesized via the three-component conjugate-nucleophilic addition of acetylenic sulfones, phenylselenomagnesium bromide, and carbonyl compounds, such as aldehydes, aliphatic ketones, or alpha,beta-unsaturated enals or enones. The reaction is highly regio- and stereoselective with moderate to good yields. Functionalized allylic alcohols were obtained in the case of aldehydes and aliphatic ketones. In the case of alpha,beta-unsaturated enones, functionalized allylic alcohols or functionalized gamma,delta-unsaturated ketones were obtained, depending on the structures of the ketones.  相似文献

A new PCC-mediated carboncarbon bond cleavage reaction during oxidation of homobenzylic alcohols leading to the formation of benzylic carbonyl compounds has been observed. Homobenzylic alcohols with no benzylic substitution (R1=H) gave benzylic aldehydes without further oxidation, while those with benzylic substitution (R1=Me, Et, Ar) gave benzylic ketones. In contrast, homoallylic alcohols gave products arising from double bond migration, cis- to trans-olefin isomerization and/or allylic oxidation.  相似文献

Propargylic bromides can be condensed with aldehydes and ketones in the presence of Hiyama's reagent (2CrCl3+LiAlH4 in THF) leading to α-allenic alcohols, to homopropargylic alcohols or to the mixture of both of them. The selectivity (or specificity) of this reaction depends on the substitution of the propargylic bromide, on the structure of the ketone, and on the presence of HMPT in the reaction mixture. In many cases, the α-allenic alcohol has been specifically or very selectively obtained. The mechanism of the reaction and the influence of the various parameters are discussed.  相似文献

Substituted α,β-unsaturated ketones were selectively reduced to the corresponding allylic alcohols under mild reaction conditions. The allylic alcohols thus obtained were kinetically resolved by lipase catalyzed transesterification in the same pot to afford chiral allylic alcohols in excellent enantioselectivity. Various lipases were screened for this one-pot transesterification of allylic alcohols. Effects of different solvent have also been studied under these conditions. Pseudomonas cepacia lipase immobilized on ceramic particles (PS-C) and on diatomaceous earth (PS-D) catalyzes this transesterification in diisopropyl ether in a highly efficient manner.  相似文献

Although over 100 catalysts have been reported to catalyze the asymmetric addition of alkyl groups to aldehydes, these catalysts fail to promote additions to ketones with >90% enantioselectivity. This paper describes the asymmetric 1,2-addition of alkyl groups to conjugated cyclic enones to give allylic alcohols with chiral quaternary centers. The resultant allylic alcohols are converted into epoxy alcohols with excellent diastereoselectivities. Treatment of the epoxy alcohols with BF3.OEt2 induces a semipinacol rearrangement to provide alpha,alpha-dialkyl-beta-hydroxy ketones with all-carbon chiral quaternary centers. We also report a one-pot procedure for the asymmetric addition/diastereoselective epoxidation reaction. Simply exposing the reaction mixture to dioxygen after the asymmetric addition reaction is complete results in epoxidation of the allylic alcohol with high diastereoselectivity.  相似文献

Dysprosium metal promoted Barbier-type allylation of ketones and aldehydes has been investigated. It has been shown that dysprosium metal (activated by mercuric chloride) is effective in promoting the reaction of ketones with allyl iodide. The corresponding homoallylic alcohols are obtained in satisfactory yields. This reaction is regioselective and chemoselective. An α , β -unsaturated ketone affords a 1,2-addition product selectively. Homoallylic alcohols were synthesized from aldehydes or ketones and allylic acetates, using an electrochemical process catalyzed by iron complexes. We first studied the reactivity of allyl acetate, using N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) or acetonitrile (AN) as solvent, FeBr(2) as catalyst, and Fe as the sacrificial anode. 2-(2-Thienyl)-1(3)H-imidazo{cm[4,5-f]}quinoline was synthesized by the Weidenhagen reaction of quinoline-5,6-diamine with thiophene-2-carbaldehyde. Its methylation in the system KOH-DMSO gave isomeric 1-methyl-2-(2-thienyl)-1H- and 3-methyl-2-(2-thienyl)-3H-imidazo{cm[4,5-f]}quinolines, the latter being the major product. The 3-methyl derivative was subjected to electrophilic substitution reactions (bromination, nitration, formylation, acylation, sulfonation). Depending on the conditions, electrophilic attack was directed at the thiophene or quinoline fragment or both these.  相似文献

This study reports the first base-promoted aldol–Tishchenko reactions of allylic alcohols with aldehydes initiated by allylic isomerization. The reaction enables the diastereoselective synthesis of a variety of 1,3-diols with three contiguous stereogenic centers. Unlike commonly reported systems, our method allows the use of readily available allylic alcohols as nucleophiles instead of enolizable aldehydes and ketones.  相似文献

Addition of the carbanion of chloromethyl methyl sulfone to aldehydes and ketones proceeds faster than its degradation via the Ramberg-Baecklund reaction. Chlorohydrins and oxiranes produced from aldehydes treated with an excess of base undergo the Ramberg-Baecklund reaction giving allylic alcohols, whereas the reaction of ketones gives the oxiranes.  相似文献

A ruthenium catalyzed intramolecular allylic transfer reaction of allylic acetates containing aldehydes or ketones to form cis-homoallylic cyclopentanols and cyclohexanols as a major component is described. Reaction of lithium alpha-sulfinyl carbanions of 1-chloroalkyl p-tolyl sulfoxides with ketones or aldehydes at low temperature gave adducts in almost quantitative yields. Treatment of the adducts derived from ketones with trifluoroacetic anhydride (TFAA) in the presence of NaI in acetone gave alpha-sulfanyl allylic alcohols in good to quantitative yields. On the other hand, treatment of the adducts derived from aldehydes with TFAA and NaI resulted in the formation of alpha-sulfanyl ketones and/or alpha-sulfanyl allylic alcohols. These reactions offer a good method for the synthesis of the above-mentioned compounds from ketones and aldehydes with carbon-carbon bond-formation in two steps and in good yields.  相似文献

An efficient and one-pot procedure for the synthesis of arylated and stereodefined allylic alcohols has been achieved through zirconium-mediated multicomponent coupling reactions of alkynes, aldehydes (or ketones), and aryl iodides. The subsequent intramolecular Friedel-Crafts reactions of these allylic alcohols catalyzed by Br?nsted or Lewis acids afford highly substituted indenes and spiroindenes under extremely mild reaction conditions. This methodology also provided a highly efficient route to the synthesis of spiroindenepiperidines.  相似文献

Benzylic, allylic, and aliphatic alcohols are oxidized to aldehydes and ketones in a reaction catalyzed by Keggin-type polyoxomolybdates, PV(x)Mo(12-x)O(40)(-(3+x)) (x = 0, 2), with DMSO as a solvent. The oxidation of benzylic alcohols is quantitative within hours and selective, whereas that of allylic alcohols is less selective. Oxidation of aliphatic alcohols is slower but selective. Further mechanistic studies revealed that, for H(3)PMo(12)O(40) as a catalyst and benzylic alcohols as substrates, the sulfoxide is in fact an oxygen donor in the reaction. Postulated reaction steps as determined from isotope-labeling experiments, kinetic isotope effects, and Hammett plots include (a) sulfoxide activation by complexation to the polyoxometalate and (b) oxygen transfer from the activated sulfoxide and elimination of water from the alcohol. The mechanism is supported by the reaction kinetics.  相似文献
