The crystal and molecular structures oftrans-[PtCl2(C2H4)(4-MeC5H4N)] (I) andtrans-[PtCl2(C2H4)(2,4,6-Me3C5H2N)] (II) have been determined by single-crystal x-ray methods.I crystallizes in space groupP21/c witha= 4.991(1), b=21.658(3), c=10.675(3) Å, =110.17(2) °,Z=4;II is orthorhombic (Pbca) witha=10.295(6),b=12.393(8),c=20.370(10) Å,Z=8.Full-matrix least-squares refinements have given finalR factors of 0.053 (1520 reflections) forI and 0.042. (1412 reflections) forII. The intensities were recorded by counter methods, and only those reflections havingI>3(I) were used in the analyses. In both complexes, platinum is four-coordinate with the two chlorine atoms, the double bond of the ethylene, and the nitrogen atom of the substituted pyridine. The two structures are discussed in terms of the arrangement of the pyridine ligand with respect to the PtCl2(C2H4) moiety.  相似文献

The structures of trans-[(MeCN)2(bpy)2Ru](ClO4)2(I) andtrans-[(NH3)2(bpy)2Ru](ClO4)2(II) have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction methods. (I) forms monoclinic crystals in the space groupP21/c witha=8.399(2),b=10.406(2),c=15.590(3) Å,=93.78(2)° andZ=2 atT=293 K. The final refinement gaveR=0.040 for 2448 reflections withF o 2 >3(F o 2 ). (II) crystallizes in the triclinic space groupP¯1 witha=1.702(1),b=8.439(2),c=10.525(2) Å,=107.56(2),=104.63(1), =100.89(2)° andZ=1 atT=293 K. Refinement using 1878 reflections withF o 2 >3(F o 2 ) produced a finalR value of 0.036. Both of these structures have the ruthenium atom located on a crystallographic inversion center. The bipyridine ligands in both structures are in the bowed conformation as a means of circumventing the steric problems associated with the trans arrangement of the bipyridine ligands. The Ru-N(monodentate) distance is longer for the ammonia complex (2.106(3) Å) than for the acetonitrile complex (2.008(4) Å); there are no significant differences in the distances and angles of the two Ru(bpy)2 frameworks.  相似文献

The crystal structures of two Bi tris xanthates are reported, namely [Bi(S2CO-c-C6H11)3 J and [Bi(S2COCH2C6H5)3]. They exist as centrosymmetric dimers, owing to the presence of bridging xanthate ligands, with seven-coordinate Bi atoms. The presence of a stereochemically active lonepair of electrons in each structure distorts the coordination geometry defined by seven S atoms and causes the elongation of some of the Bi-S bond distances. Crystals of both compounds are triclinic, space groupP¯1 with unit cell dimensions for [Bi(S2CO-c-C6H11)3]:a=12.417(3),b=13.571(3),c=9.681(4) Å;=102.30(2),=109.21(2), =66.23(2)° andZ=2; and for [Bi(S2COCH2C6H5)3]:a=14.747(2),b=15.966(2),c=5.991(1) Å;=95.08(1),=98.51(1), =104.92(1)° andZ=2. The structures were refined by a full-matrix least-squares procedure to finalR=0.045 using 4274 reflections for [Bi(S2CO-c-C6H11)3] and toR=0.027 using 3993 reflections for [Bi(S2COCH2C6H5)3].  相似文献

The synthesis and crystal structures of two copper bromide salts of the 4-dimethylaminopyridinium (4DMAP+) cation are reported. The Cu(I) salt, (4DMAP)2CuBr3, crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c, with a = 11.724(2), b = 11.055(3), c = 15.763(3) Å, = 107.64(3)°, and Z = 4. It contains isolated planar 4DMAP+ cations and trigonal planar CuBr3 2– anions. Small distortions from idealized D 3h symmetry are observed for the anion. For the Cu(II) salt, (4DMAP)2CuBr4, a triclinic cell is observed with a = 8.2373(2), b = 9.2428(2), c = 14.4391(1) Å, = 93.760(1), = 94.576(1), = 105.249(1)°, and Z = 2. This compound contains discrete planar 4DMAP+ cations and flattened tetrahedral CuBr4 2– anions. Small distortions are observed for ideal D 2d symmetry.  相似文献

The cobalt(II)-Schiff base complexes [Co(nbsal)2] and [Co(tbsal)2] [nbsal=N-n-butylsalicylideneiminate and tbsal=N-tert-butysalicylideneiminate,o-OC6H4CH=NR,R+Bun and But, respectively] both have distorted tetrahedral structures, but the presence of thetert-butyl groups in [Co(tbsal)2] causes much greater angular distortion, of the coordination tetrahedron. Although [Co(nbsal)2] will react with nitric oxide and oxygen, [Co(tbsal)2] reacts with neither and this appears to be due to the shielding of the cobalt by thetert-vutyl groups. The reactive complex [Co(nbsal)2] crystallizes in the tetragonal system,a+14.244,c+5.395, Å,Z+2 and space group $P\bar 4$ . The structure was determined by the heavy-atom method, using MoKα diffractometer data, and refined by full matrix least-squares toR+0.035 for 777 reflections. The unreactive complex [Co(tbsal)2] crystallizes in the orthorhombic systemPbc21,a+10.977,b+20.037,c+9.866 Å,Z+4. The structure was determined as above toR+0.051 for 1458 reflections.  相似文献

CuCl2(NH2CH2CH2OH) is monoclinic, space group C2/c, witha+11.092(2),b+10.012(2),c+6.401(1) Å, =121.71(1)°, andV=604.8(2)Å3 withZ+4. The structure was refined to a final value ofR+0.27 for 518 unique observed reflections with |F|>3. The ethanolamine and halide ions coordinate to the copper(II) ion forming a pseudoplanar four-coordinate monomeric CuCl2L2 complex (L2+bidentate ligand). The copper ion also interacts with the halides of neighboring complexes through the formation of semi-coordinate Cu-Cl linkages (2.926(1) Å) between oligomers. The copper thus attains a 4+2 elongated octahedral coordination geometry. In this space group, the ligand is statisticallydisordered The Cu-Cl distance is 2.267(1)Å while the Cu-N/O distances are 2.025(2)Å. The dibromide structure is isomorphous with the dichloride structure, with space group C2/c, anda+11.285(2),b+10.218(2),c+6.715(1) Å, =121.65(1)°, andV=659.2(2)Å3.  相似文献

Abstract

Pentacarbonyl(trimethylamine)chromium (1) and pentacarbonyl(trimethylamine)molybdenum (2) are isomorphous and crystallize in the space group P21/n, a = 6.8267(14) ?, b = 11.269(2) ?, c = 14.692(3) ?, β = 102.89(3)°, V = 1,101.8(4) ?3, Z = 4 for 1 and a = 6.949(5) ?, b = 11.362(5) ?, c = 14.927(5) ?, β = 102.639(5)°, V = 1,150.0(10) ?3, Z = 4 for 2; both compounds possess distorted octahedral molecular geometries that result from the steric influence of the coordinated amine ligand.  相似文献

Crystals of bis(tropolonato)-dioxo(ethanol)uranium(VI) are orthorhombic:a = 12·495(8),b = 8·817(7),c = 15·459(9) Å,Z = 4, space groupPnam. The structure was determined with MoK diffractometer data by standard Patterson and Fourier methods, and was refined by full-matrix least-squares methods toR = 0·049 for 1289 observed reflexions. The coordination plane consists of the four tropolonato oxygen atoms and the oxygen from the ethanol ligand; the uranyl group is perpendicular to it. The molecule lies across the mirror plane, consistent with a boat conformation for the tropolone rings; the dihedral angle between the plane of tropolone ring and the coordination plane is 22·5 °. The deviations of the tropolonato oxygen atoms from the tropolonato plane are 0·08 Å (above) and 0·16 Å (below). It is almost certain that the ethyl group of the ethanol ligand does not lie in the symmetry plane; C(8) is about 0·3 Å on one side of this plane and C(9) is about the same distance on the other, within a satisfactory bonding scheme.  相似文献

The reaction of UCl4 with KO-2,6-Cl2C6H3 in tetrahydrofuran results in the preparation of the title compound. The six-coordinate complex possesses pseudo-octahedral geometry about uranium, with U-O(phenoxide) bond lengths in the range 2.161(11) to 2.178(10) Å and U-O(THF) bond lengths of 2.467(10) and 2.475(11) Å. This complex crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n (a = 11.169(2), b = 11.588(2), c = 35.119(5) Å, = 92.11(1)°, V = 4542.2(13) Å3, and Z = 4).  相似文献

The three-dimensional molecular and crystal structures of a pair of enantiopure mirror complexes of Ni (II) to chiral Schiff bases of (R)- and (S)-serine with (S)- and (R)-2-N-(N′-benzylprolyl)-aminobenzophenone (BPB), denoted as (S,R)-BPB-Ser-Ni and (R,S)-BPB-Ser-Ni, respectively, have been determined by X-ray diffraction. The complexes crystallize in the orthorhombic space group P2 1 2 1 2 1 with unit cell parameters: a = 10.050(2) Å, b = 10.100(2) Å, c = 26.514(5) Å, V = 2691.3(9) Å3, and Z = 4 for (S,R)-BPB-Ser-Ni; and a = 9.878(2) Å, b = 10.130(2) Å, c = 26.304(5) Å, V = 2632.1(9) Å3, and Z = 4 for (R,S)-BPB-Ser-Ni. The Ni atom is square-planar-coordinated to N(1), N(2), O(4), and N(3) of the Schiff base with minor distortion. The hydroxymethyl group on the serine moiety is axial to the coordination plane and parallel to the neighboring phenyl group.  相似文献

An octahedral geometry for the molecule of the title complex with very slight distortions around Co(III) is confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction study. The molecular structure of the complex has been shown to contain two dodecylamine moieties in the trans orientations, two N-bonded dimethylglyoximato (DMG) groups and an uncoordinated nitrite ion.  相似文献

Binary complexes of formula [M(II)(acgly)2(H2O)4] (M(II)=Co(II), Ni(II), acgly=N-acetylglycinate ion) were synthesized, and for the Co(II) complex the crystal and molecular structure was determined. The crystals are monoclinic, space groupP21/c,a=4.838(1),b=10.785(2),c=14.340(6) Å,=96.96(2)°,Z=2. The structure was solved by the heavy-atom method and refined through full-matrix least-squares calculations toR=0.0394 for 1069 observed reflections. The coordination around the cobalt atom is slightly elongated octahedral arising from one carboxylate oxygen of each of the two centrosymmetrically related monodentateN-acetylglycinate anions and four water molecules.  相似文献

Dichlorobis(8-(diphenylphosphinyl)quinoline)nickel(II) was formed in the reaction of 8-(diphenylphosphino)quinoline with nickel chloride in air. The title complex crystallized in P1 with the following cell dimensions: a = 8.5685(3) Å, b = 10.7736(2) Å, c = 13.4391(5) Å, and = 110.447(2)°, = 94.577(2)°; = 111.138(2)°, giving a volume of 1053.75(6) Å3. The trans-dichlorobis(8-(diphenylphosphinyl)quinoline) nickel(II) adapts a central symmetric distorted octahedron. The structure is compared to other nickel(II) cation complexes, and possible reasons for the bonding states are discussed.  相似文献

Bis(dibenzoylmethane)copper Cu(dbm)2 has been synthesized and its structure determined by x-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c, with a = 25.936(3), b = 5.9806(8), c = 16.4908(16) Å, = 114.998(8)°, Z = 4, and V = 2318.3(4) Å3. The Cu atom is located at a symmetry center and surrounded by four O atoms from two dbm molecules to form a plane square coordination environment. On the a–c plane the molecules are orderly arranged to result in a layered structure, and parallel to crystallographic b-axis they form a molecular column due to the effect of aromatic stacking.  相似文献
