A method for calculating electric quadrupole moments of light nuclei and probabilities of electric quadrupole transitions in them in the multiquantum approximation of the orthogonal scheme is proposed. Specific calculations of these quantities are performed for the 4 8 Be nucleus with allowance for all U(3(A ? 1)) states characterized by the λ = [44] Young diagram, the quantum numbers K min and K min + 2 of the O(3A ? 1)) group, and the number E = K + 2N (N = 0, 1, …, 9) of oscillator quanta. It is shown that an extension of the basis from the E = K min to the E = K min + 2 approximation leads to an increase of 15 to 45% in the electric quadrupole moments and to an increase in the transition probabilities B(E2) by a factor of 1.6 to 2.8. The inclusion of E = K + 2N (N = 0, 1, …), states involving multiquantum excitations (ρ excitations) increases additionally the results by 10 to 30%. The results of these calculations are compared with their counterparts obtained in the multiquantum approximation of the unitary scheme.  相似文献

The equation of motion of a quantized vortex filament in a trapped Bose–Einstein condensate [A. A. Svidzinsky and A. L. Fetter, Phys. Rev. A 62, 063617 (2000)] has been generalized to the case of an arbitrary anharmonic anisotropic rotating trap and presented in the variational form. For condensate density profiles of the form ρ = f(x2 + y2 + ReΨ(x + iy)) in the presence of the plane of symmetry y = 0, the solutions x(z) describing stationary vortices of U and S types coming to the surface and solitary waves have been found in quadratures. Analogous three-dimensional configurations of the vortex filament uniformly moving along the z axis have also been found in strictly cylindrical geometry. The dependence of solutions on the form of the function f(q) has been analyzed.  相似文献

In the first part of the paper we derive expressions of the Ginzburg-Landau (GL) type for the local tunneling density of states of superconducting alloys. These expressions are quite generally applicable at high excitation energies. One can see immediately that the density of states,N(r, ω), at any positionr and high energiesω is always larger than the local BCS density of states if the space dependence of the order parameter is governed by the GL-equation. This effect is largest for long mean free pathsl. In the second part of the paper we calculate the spatial average of the density of states,¯N, at all energiesω for a lattice of vortex lines in a magnetic field slightly below the upper critical field. The resulting curve of [¯N? N(0)]/N(0) versus co shows no gap and has a zero at about the gap value in zero field. Its value at ω=0 depends onl like ln(ξ0/l) for l?ξ0 [N(0) denotes the normal density of states, and ξ0 is the BCS coherence length].  相似文献

The upper field of the Meissner regime, H up, and overheat field Hc1, above which vortices start penetrating into a Josephson contact, are calculated throughout the range of pinning parameter I. The stability of likely configurations is investigated. It is shown that H up = Hc1 at any I. The existence of a single vortex centered at the extreme cell in the contact is demonstrated to be a possibility. At I > 3.69, such a vortex may exist even in a zero magnetic field. At 1.48 < I < 3.69, this vortex can exist in an external field in the range from some H v to H up. At I < 1.48, the vortex cannot exist under any conditions. From the equality of H up and Hc1 at any I, the conclusion is drawn that penetration of vortices into any Josephson medium is conditioned by the need to satisfy flux quantization conditions. Here, not the forces of vortex pinning at defects in the medium but quantization requirements are of major importance, which are satisfied in specific quantum ways rather than by meeting equilibrium conditions for vortices, forces, etc.  相似文献

The refined set of values of the effective nuclear charge (\(\bar Z_{ef} \)) and the set of one-electron spin-orbital constants (ξ 3d teor ) are obtained for ions of transition metals with the help of a semiempirical method of calculation of the spectrum of free ions with allowance for the spin-orbital interaction. The effective nuclear charge, which is a variable theoretical parameter, was determined from a comparison of theoretically calculated ion absorption spectra with experimental ones. The form of the potential for the calculation of the spin-orbital constant was chosen such that the calculated value ξ 3d teor would coincide with the experimental one ξ 3d exp . The calculated set of values \(\bar Z_{ef} \), ξ 3d teor } can be used in semiempirical calculations of energy levels of 3d ions (ions with an incomplete 3d shell).  相似文献

A Hamiltonian version has been formulated for the model of a potential jet stream of a homogeneous incompressible fluid with a free boundary. In the framework of this model, instability regimes have been analyzed. It has been shown that self-similar solutions with a compact support can be dominant structures. Analysis of the instability mechanism shows that two collapse scenarios are possible. The first scenario occurs without the deformation of the shape and leads to an intensification of the vortex sheet according to the law (t 0 ? t)?1, where t 0 is the collapse time. The second scenario leads to the formation of a singularity for the surface shape and to a decrease in the intensity of the vortex sheet according to the laws (t 0 ? t)?1/5 and (t 0 ? t)1/5, respectively. The integral collapse criterion has been found.  相似文献

In the multiquantum approximation of the orthogonal scheme, specific calculations for the energies and radii of the 4 8 Be nucleus are performed with allowance for all states characterized by the λ=[44] Young diagram, the quantum numbers Kmin and Kmin+2 of the O(3(A?1)) group, and the quantum numbers E=K+2N (N≤9) of the U(3(A?1)) group. The convergence of the results with respect to the extension of the basis is studied, and the structure of relevant wave functions is revealed. The results of these calculations are compared with the results obtained in the analogous approximation of the unitary scheme.  相似文献

Considering the magneto-diluted gadolinium-containing Adamian alloys, it is shown that the dependence of the Curie temperature on the de Gennes factor ξ = c(g ? 1)2J(J + 1) can be expanded for ferromagnets with the exchange frustration. It is shown that in this case it is necessary to replace J by S eff and that the linear dependence of T C on ξeff remains up to the pure spin-glass state with S eff = 0.  相似文献

A new vortex identification criterion called W-method is proposed based on the ideas that vorticity overtakes deformation in vortex.The comparison with other vortex identification methods like Q-criterion and λ_2-method is conducted and the advantages of the new method can be summarized as follows:(1) the method is able to capture vortex well and very easy to perform;(2) the physical meaning of W is clear while the interpretations of iso-surface values of Q and λ_2 chosen to visualize vortices are obscure;(3)being different from Q and λ_2 iso-surface visualization which requires wildly various thresholds to capture the vortex structure properly, W is pretty universal and does not need much adjustment in different cases and the iso-surfaces of W=0.52 can always capture the vortices properly in all the cases at different time steps, which we investigated;(4) both strong and weak vortices can be captured well simultaneously while improper Q and λ_2 threshold may lead to strong vortex capture while weak vortices are lost or weak vortices are captured but strong vortices are smeared;(5) W=0.52 is a quantity to approximately define the vortex boundary. Note that, to calculate W, the length and velocity must be used in the non-dimensional form. From our direct numerical simulation, it is found that the vorticity direction is very different from the vortex rotation direction in general 3-D vortical flow,the Helmholtz velocity decomposition is reviewed and vorticity is proposed to be further decomposed to vortical vorticity and non-vortical vorticity.  相似文献

Thin films of partially deuterated betaine phosphate have been grown by the evaporation on Al2O3(110) and NdGaO3(001) substrates with a preliminarily deposited structure of interdigitated electrodes. The grown films have a polycrystalline block structure with characteristic dimensions of blocks of the order of 0.1–1.5 mm. The degree of deuteration of the films D varies in the range of 20–50%. It has been found that, at the antiferroelectric phase transition temperature Tcafe = 100–114 K, the fabricated structures exhibit an anomaly of the electrical capacitance C, which is not accompanied by a change in the dielectric loss tangent tanδ. The strong-signal dielectric response is characterized by the appearance of a ferroelectric nonlinearity at temperatures T >Tcafe, which is transformed into an antiferroelectric nonlinearity at T <Tcafe. With a further decrease in the temperature, double dielectric hysteresis loops appear in the antiferroelectric phase. The dielectric properties of the films have been described within the framework of the Landau-type thermodynamic model taking into account the biquadratic coupling ξP2η2 between the polar order parameter P and the nonpolar order parameter η with a positive coefficient ξ. The E–T phase diagram has been constructed.  相似文献

The transport properties in the mixed state of high-quality Ca_(0.8)La_(0.2)Fe_(0.98)Co_(0.02)As_2single crystal,a newly discovered 112-type iron pnictide superconductor,are comprehensively studied by magneto-resistivity measurement.The field-dependent activation energy,U_0,is derived in the framework of thermally activated flux flow(TAFF)theory,yielding a power law dependence U_0~H~αwith a crossover at a magnetic field around 2 T in both H⊥ab and H//ab,which is ascribed to the different pinning mechanisms.Moreover,we have clearly observed the vortex phase transition from vortex-glass to vortex-liquid according to the vortex-glass model,and vortex phase diagrams are constructed for both H⊥ab and H//ab.Finally,the results of mixed-state Hall effect show that no sign reversal of transverse resistivityρ_(xy)(H)is detected,indicating that the Hall component arising from the vortex flow is in theories or experiments previously reported on some high-T_ccuprates.  相似文献

The critical current I c of S-(FN)-S Josephson structures has been calculated as a function of the distance L between superconducting (S) electrodes using the Usadel quasiclassical equations for the case of specifying the supercurrent in the direction parallel to the interface between the ferromagnetic (F) and normal (N) films of the composite weak-link region. It has been shown that, owing to the interaction between F and N films, both the typical decrease scale I c(L) and the period of the critical current oscillations can be much larger than the respective quantities for the SFS junctions. The conditions have been determined under which these lengths are on the order of the effective depth ζN of superconductivity penetration to a normal metal.  相似文献

Natural convection of water in a cylindrical cavity with an open surface at a temperature of about 3.98°C (temperature of the maximum water density) is accompanied by typical anomalies on time dependences of temperatures of water layers. In particular, stabilization of temperature Tst is observed in the bottom region of the cavity and duration of such stabilization tst may reach several hours depending on the experimental conditions. The results for solutions of sodium chloride and ethanol at a relatively low rate of water cooling show that temperature Tst coincides with temperature Tmax corresponding to the maximum density of solutions.  相似文献

The superconducting transition temperature T c of a “clean ferromagnet-dirty superconductor” bilayer is calculated using boundary conditions derived for the quasiclassical Green’s function. This combination corresponds to the majority of experiments, in which Fe, Ni, Co, or Gd are used as a material for the ferromagnetic layer. It is shown that T c oscillates upon changing thickness of the ferromagnetic layer, in accordance with the experimental observations.  相似文献

We consider the relationship between the unitary quantization scheme and the para-Fermi statistics of order 2. We propose an appropriate generalization of Green’s ansatz, which has made it possible to transform bilinear and trilinear commutation relations for the creation and annihilation operators for two different para-Fermi fields φa and φb into identities. We also propose a method for incorporating para-Grassmann numbers ξk into the general unitary quantization scheme. For the parastatistics of order 2, a new fact has been revealed: the trilinear relations containing both para-Grassmann variables ξk and field operators ak and bm are transformed under a certain reversible mapping into unitary equivalent relations in which commutators are replaced by anticommutators, and vice versa. It is shown that this leads to the existence of two alternative definitions of the coherent state for para-Fermi oscillators. The Klein transformation for Green’s components of operators ak and bm is constructed in explicit form, which enabled us to reduce the initial commutation rules for the components to the normal commutation relations for ordinary Fermi fields. We have analyzed a nontrivial relationship between the trilinear commutation relations of the unitary quantization scheme and the so-called Lie supertriple system. The possibility of incorporating the Duffin–Kemmer–Petiau theory into the unitary quantization scheme is discussed briefly.  相似文献

Near the critical temperature of a superconducting transition, the energy of the threshold perturbation δFthr that transfers a superconducting bridge to a resistive state at a current below the critical current Ic has been determined. It has been shown that δFthr increases with a decrease in the length of a bridge for short bridges with lengths L < ξ (where ξ is the coherence length) and is saturated for long bridges with L ? ξ. At certain geometrical parameters of banks and bridge, the function δFthr(L) at the current I → 0 has a minimum at L ~ (2–3)ξ. These results indicate that the effect of fluctuations on Josephson junctions made in the form of short superconducting bridges is reduced and that the effect of fluctuations on bridges with lengths ~(2–3)ξ is enhanced.  相似文献

The dynamics of a quantum vortex toric knot TP,Q and other analogous knots in an atomic Bose condensate at zero temperature in the Thomas–Fermi regime is considered in the hydrodynamic approximation. The condensate has a spatially inhomogeneous equilibrium density profile ρ(z, r) due to the action of an external axisymmetric potential. It is assumed that z*= 0, r*= 1 is the point of maximum of function rρ(z, r), so that δ(rρ) ≈ –(α–)z2/2–(α + )(δr)2/2 for small z and δr. The geometrical configuration of a knot in the cylindrical coordinates is determined by a complex 2πP-periodic function A(?, t) = Z(?, t) + i[R(?, t))–1]. When |A| ? 1, the system can be described by relatively simple approximate equations for P rescaled functions \({W_n}(\varphi ) \propto A(2\pi n + \varphi ):i{W_{n,t}} = - ({W_{n,\varphi \varphi }} + \alpha {W_n} - \in W_n^*)/2 - \sum\nolimits_{j \ne n} {1/(W_n^* - W_j^*)} \). For = 0, examples of stable solutions of type W n = θ n (?–γt)exp(–iωt) with a nontrivial topology are found numerically for P = 3. In addition, the dynamics of various unsteady knots with P = 3 is modeled, and the tendency to the formation of a singularity over a finite time interval is observed in some cases. For P = 2 and small ≠ 0, configurations of type W0W1B0exp(iζ) + C(B0, α)exp(–iζ) + D(B0, α)exp(3iζ), where B0 > 0 is an arbitrary constant, ζ = k0?–Ω0t + ζ0, k0 = Q/2, and Ω0 = (–α)/2–2/B02, which rotate about the z axis, are investigated. Wide stability regions for such solutions are detected in the space of parameters (α, B0). In unstable zones, a vortex knot may return to a weakly excited state.  相似文献

The dynamics of a vortex filament in a Bose–Einstein condensate whose equilibrium density in the reference frame rotating at the angular velocity Ω is Gaussian with the quadratic form r·D?r has been considered. It has been shown that the equation of motion of the filament in the local-induction approximation permits a class of exact solutions in the form R(β, t) = βM(t) + N(t) of a straight vortex, where β is the longitudinal parameter and is the time. The vortex slips over the surface of an ellipsoid, which follows from the conservation laws N · D?N=C 1 and M · D?N=C 0=0. The equation of the evolution of the tangential vector M(t) appears to be closed and has integrals of motion M ·D?M=C 2 and (|M| ? M· G?Ω) = C, with the matrix G? = 2(I?TrD? ? D?)?1. It has been shown that, at the initial stage of the magnetization curve, the magnetic susceptibility of magnetic liquid determined as χ = Mμ0/B (M is the magnetization, B is the magnetic induction in a sample) obeys the Curie law, and the magnetic susceptibility determined as χ = M/H (H is the magnetic field intensity in a sample) obeys the Curie–Weiss law. Since the Curie law is a particular case of the Langevin dependence, it is assumed that an experimental magnetization curve is described by the Langevin formula with a Langevin parameter ξ = PB/kT, where P is the magnetic moment of a particle and T is the temperature. Experimental verification has shown that, at parameter ξ, the mean relative deviation between the values of M measured and calculated by the Langevin formula is 5%. This deviation can be accounted for by the influence of dispersion of the magnetic moments of nanoparticles.  相似文献

Solutions of the nonlinear Ginzburg-Landau equations in cylindrical symmetry have been computed for a type I superconductor. From these solutions the behaviour of a circular cylinder of infinite length in a magnetic field parallel to its axis has been deduced. For a series of values of the magnetic field solutions are given in two cases. The first case was calculated with the assumption of no fluxoid frozen in (fluxoid quantum number n=0), whereas in the second case a vortex with fluxoid quantum numbern=1 was assumed on the axis of the cylinder. For both series of solutions investigation of the thermodynamic stability was carried out. This and further thermodynamic considerations led to the result that in a gedankenexperiment the transition from the normal to the superconducting state and vice versa can be performed in a reversible manner. The expulsion of the magnetic field from the sample during the reversible transition to the superconducting state (Meissner-Effect) is also described by the solutions. Further results are the existence of a supercooled state down to a magnetic fieldH c2=κ√2Hcb and of a superheated state up to a fieldH c1>H cb. The value ofH c1 depends on the radius of the cylinder. If a condensation to the superconducting state takes place at a fieldH 0 whereH c2<H 0<H cb, condensation withn=0 seems to be preferred in comparison to that withn=1.  相似文献
