By dropwise addition of a chitosan solution into different non-solvent, such as: 1 N and 2 N NaOH as well as 1 N NaOH: C2H5OH mixture (2:1, v/v) at temperature of 25 °C and 50 °C under stirring, the spherical pure chitosan microparticles were performed. As solvents for chitosan was used 0.1 N acetic acid or 0.1 N HCl. The immersion of the pure chitosan microparticles in hyaluronan solution led to complex microparticles, namely chitosan microparticles covered by a hyaluronan layer. For all the microparticles performed the behaviours in the retention process of two antibiotics: chloramphenicol succinate sodium salt and cefotaxime sodium salt were analyzed. Also, the study shows the release behaviour of cefotaxime sodium salt by the microparticles loaded with this drug. Among the microparticles performed a type of complex microparticles can be considered a suitable drug delivery system for cefotaxime. These microparticles were performed by dropwise addition of chitosan solution in 0.1 N acetic acid into the 1 N NaOH: C2H5OH (2:1, v/v) non-solvent at 20 °C for 3 h, followed by their washing up to alkalinity loss and the immersion in hyaluronan solution of 10 g/L concentration for 24 h.  相似文献

Removal of fluoride ions using cuttlefish bones   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Because of the high toxicity of fluoride to mankind, there is an urgent need to treat fluoride-contaminated drinking water to make it safe for human consumption. This work investigated the possibility of eliminating, by sorption, the excess of fluoride in overloaded water according to World Health Organization WHO recommendations. We tested the cuttlefish bone as an adsorbent material (available in Tunisia) for the defluoridation of water. Initially, we determined the optimal conditions of use (contact time, pH effect, adsorbent dose, initial fluoride concentration) of the cuttlefish bone on synthetic solutions of sodium fluoride. The second step was to verify the effectiveness of the sorption process on the cuttlefish bone by testing it on natural waters loaded with fluoride. The results obtained showed that sorption on the cuttlefish bone could be an effective method for the removal of fluoride. The efficacy of cuttlefish bone to remove fluoride from water was found to be 80% at pH 7.2, 1 h contact time, 15 g L−1 adsorbent dose and 5 mg L−1 initial fluoride concentration. Despite the different anions (Cl and SO42−) generally present in natural waters, a fluoride concentration in agreement with the norm (<1.5 mg L−1) could be reached whatever the water treated. The regeneration of the cuttlefish bone was performed with a NaOH solution (10 g of cuttlefish bone/1000 mL NaOH 3 M). After 1 h of agitation, 95% of fluorides were desorbed. Following regeneration, the adsorbent can be used for further removal of fluoride.  相似文献

A bifunctional sorbent, (NH2 + SH)silica, containing both amine and mercapto functionalities was prepared by modification of silica gel with 3-(triethoxysilyl)propylamine and (3-mercaptopropyl)trimethoxysilane. In addition to the bifunctional sorbent, silica gel was modified individually with the functional mercapto- and amino-silanes, and the mono-functional sorbents, namely (SH)silica and (NH2)silica, were also mechanically mixed ((NH2)silica + (SH)silica) for the sake of comparison of sorption performances. It has been demonstrated that (SH)silica shows quantitative sorption only to As(III) at two pH values, 1.0 and 9.0, while (NH2)silica displays selectivity only towards As(V) at pH 3.0. On the other hand, the bifunctional (NH2 + SH)silica possesses the efficient features of the two mono-functionalized sorbents; for example, it retains As(III) at a wider pH range, from 1.0 to at least 9.0 with the exception at pH 2.0, and it also shows quantitative sorption to As(V) at pH 3.0. This property gives the bifunctional (NH2 + SH)silica a better flexibility in terms of sorption performance as a function of solution pH. The mechanically mixed (NH2)silica + (SH)silica exhibits a similar but less efficient sorption behavior compared to the bifunctional sorbent. Desorption of both As(III) and As(V) species can be realized using 0.5 M NaOH. The validity of the proposed method was checked through the analysis of a standard reference material and a good correlation was obtained between the certified (26.67 μg L−1) and determined (27.53 ± 0.37 μg L−1) values. Spike recovery tests realized with ultrapure water (93.0 ± 2.3%) and drinking water (86.9 ± 1.2%) also confirmed the applicability of the method.  相似文献

An off-line extraction chromatographic technique has been developed using Amberlite XAD-16 (AXAD-16)-N,N-dihexylcarbamoylmethyl phosphonic acid, as the stationary phase for the extraction of uranium, thorium and lanthanum from nuclear spent fuels as well as from geological and natural water resources. The chemical modifications of the polymeric matrix were monitored using FT-IR spectroscopy, CHNPS elemental analysis and also by thermo gravimetric analysis for water regain measurements. Various physio-chemical parameters influencing the quantitative metal ion extraction by the resin phase were optimized by both static and dynamic methods. The developed resin matrix showed good distribution ratio values under wide concentrations of acidity and pH conditions. Moreover, the sequential separation of analytes is also possible at sample pH 6.5. Also, the polymeric matrix showed superior metal sorption capacities and rapid metal exchange kinetics with a high sample flow rate value of 26 cm3 min−1 for all the three analytes. Thus, reducing the time of analyte extraction from large number of samples anticipated in nuclear waste management programs. The quantitative metal ion recovery of >99.8% was effected with 0.5 M (NH4)2CO3 solution. The method was highly sensitive with lower limits of detections to be 10, 20 and 15 ng cm−3 for U(VI), Th(IV) and La(III), respectively, with a better pre-concentration values of 333 for U(VI) and Th(IV) and 400 for La(III), respectively paving way for its applicability in pre-concentrating trace analytes from large sample volumes. The analytical data were within 4.2% R.S.D. reflecting the reproducibility and reliability of the developed method.  相似文献

Metakaolin prepared from a natural clay mineral ore of aluminium kaolinite is a promising low cost and high activity aluminosilicate material that has been investigated for studying the sorption behavior of uranium. Here, metakaolin was characterized using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and the effects of pH, contact time and initial metal ion concentration on its sorption behavior were studied. The sorption process was found to initially be rapid (∼60% at time 0 min) but became slower with time; equilibrium was established within 24 h (∼80% sorption). The data were applied to study the kinetics of the sorption process. The Langmuir and Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) sorption isotherms were used to describe partitioning behavior for the system at room temperature. The binding of metal ions was found to be pH dependent, with optimal sorption occurring at pH 5. The retained metal ions were eluted with 5 mL of 0.1 M HNO3. Raman spectroscopy and XPS were used to evaluate the sorption mechanism of U(VI).  相似文献

Titanium dioxide nanoparticles (nano-TiO2) were employed for the sorption of Te(IV) ions from aqueous solution. A detailed study of the process was performed by varying the sorption time, pH, and temperature. The sorption was found to be fast, equilibrium was reached within 8 min. When the concentration of Te(IV) was below 40 mg L−1, at least 97% of tellurium was adsorbed by nano-TiO2 in the pH range of 1-2 and 8-9. The sorbed Te(IV) ions were desorbed with 2.0 mL of 0.5 mol L−1 NaOH. The sorption data could be well interpreted by the Langmuir model with the maximum adsorption capacity of 32.75 mg g−1 (20 ± 0.1 °C) of Te(IV) on nano-TiO2. The kinetics and thermodynamics of the sorption of Te(IV) onto nano-TiO2 were also studied. The kinetic experimental data properly correlated with the second-order kinetic model (k2 = 0.0368 g mg−1 min−1, 293 K). The overall rate process appeared to be influenced by both boundary layer diffusion and intra-particle diffusion. The mean energy of adsorption was calculated to be 17.41 kJ mol−1 from the Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) adsorption isotherm at room temperature. Moreover, the thermodynamic parameters for the sorption were estimated, and the ΔH0 and ΔG0 values indicated the exothermic and spontaneous nature of the sorption process, respectively. Finally, Nano-TiO2 as sorbent was successfully applied to the separation of Te(IV) from the environmental samples with satisfactory results (recoveries >95%, relative standard deviations was 2.0%).  相似文献

The sorption behaviour of 2.5 × 10−5 M solution of Cd(II) on polyurethane foam (PUF) from iodide medium have been investigated. The conditions were optimized from aqueous solutions of different pH (1-10) and of acids of varied concentration (0.01-1.0 M). The maximum concentration of KI was found to be 0.24 M and equilibration time was established to be 20 min. The data successfully followed the Freundlich and Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) isotherms at low metal ion concentration while Langmuir isotherm followed at higher metal ion concentration. The Freundlich parameter 1/n = 0.66 ± 0.02 have been evaluated whereas D-R isotherm yields the sorption free energy E = 10.5 ± 0.1 kJ mol−1 indicating ion exchange type chemisorption. The monolayer coverage (XL) constant of Langmuir isotherm was found to be 23.7 ± 0.4 mg g−1. The numerical values of thermodynamics parameters enthalpy (ΔH), entropy (ΔS) and Gibbs free energy (ΔG) indicated the endothermic and spontaneous nature of sorption. The Scatchard plot analysis was tested to evaluate the binding sites of the PUF and stability constants of sorption were determined. On the basis of these parameters, the sorption mechanism was discussed. Among the foreign ions tested, Pb(II), Hg(II), cyanide and nitrite should be absent. The clean separation of Cd(II) from Zn(II) ions in the ratio 1:250, respectively, was achieved by column chromatography.  相似文献

The usage of a variety of sorbents has been shown as promising matrix removal/preconcentration strategies for the determination of rare earth elements (REEs) in various natural water samples by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). The sorption efficiency of various zeolites (clinoptilolite, mordenite, zeolite Y, zeolite Beta), ion-exchangers (Amberlite CG-120, Amberlite IR-120, Rexyn 101, Dowex 50W X18) and chelating resins (Muromac, Chelex 100, Amberlite IRC-718) towards REEs was investigated in terms of solution pH, shaking time and sorbent amount. The results have shown that most of the materials can take up REEs at a wide pH range. The experiments were continued with clinoptilolite, zeolite Y and Chelex 100 and it was demonstrated that all three materials displayed very fast kinetics for REE sorption (higher than 96% in 1 min). Desorption from the sorbents was realized with 2.0 M HNO3 for clinoptilolite and 0.1 M HNO3 for zeolite Y and Chelex 100. Only the lower concentration range (0.01-2.0 mg l−1) of matrix-matched standards were used in quantitation although the calibration graphs were linear at least up to 10.0 mg l−1 for all REEs studied. The limit of detection (3 s) without preconcentration was 0.1, 1.0, and 0.2 μg l−1 for Eu, La, and Yb, respectively. The validity of the method with the selected sorbents was checked through spike recovery experiments.  相似文献

A novel and sensitive cloud point extraction procedure for the determination of trace amounts of malachite green by spectrophotometry was developed. Malachite green was extracted at pH 2.5 mediated by micelles of nonionic surfactant Triton X-100. The extracted surfactant-rich phase was diluted with ethanol and its absorbance was measured at 630 nm. The effect of different variables such as pH, Triton X-100 concentration, cloud point temperature and time and diverse ions was investigated and optimum conditions were established. The calibration graph was linear in the range of 4-500 ng mL−1 of malachite green in the initial solution with r = 0.9996 (n = 10). Detection limit based on three times the standard deviation of the blank (3Sb) was 1.2 ng mL−1 and the relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) for 20 and 300 ng mL−1 of malachite green was 1.48 and 1.13% (n = 8), respectively. The method was applied to the determination of malachite green in different fish farming and river water samples.  相似文献

A simple and sensitive electroanalytical method is developed for the determination of lead by adsorptive stripping voltammetry (AdSV) in the presence of morin-5′-sulfonic acid (MSA) and sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). The Pb-MSA complex accumulates on the surface of a hanging mercury drop electrode (HMDE) and peak current is measured by square wave voltammetry (SWV). The complex is reduced at −0.48 V and peak current increases when low concentrations of SDS are added to the sample solution. The experimental variables pH, MSA concentration (CMSA); accumulation time (tacc); accumulation potential (Eacc), and SDS concentration (CSDS), as well as potential interferences, are investigated. Under the optimized conditions (pH 3.2; CMSA: 0.5 μmol L−1; tacc: 60 s; Eacc: −0.35 V, and CSDS: 20 μmol L−1), peak current is proportional to the concentration of Pb(II) over the 0.1-32.0 μg L−1 range, with a detection limit of 0.04 μg L−1. The relative standard deviation for a solution containing 5.0 μg L−1 of Pb(II) solution was 1.5% for seven successive assays. The method was validated by determining Pb(II) in synthetic sea water (ASTM D665) spiked with ICP multi-element standard solution and in certified reference water (GBW08607). Finally, the method was successfully applied to the determination of Pb(II) in tap water and sea water after UV digestion.  相似文献

A novel sorbent was prepared by the functionalization of an inorganic support material, MCM-41, with N-methylglucamine for the uptake of boron from aqueous solutions prior to its determination by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). Characterization of the newly synthesized material was performed using BET, XRD, TEM, SEM and DRIFTS techniques, in addition to its C and N elemental content. Sorption behavior of the novel sorbent for boron was also investigated and found to obey Freundlich and Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) isotherm models. The maximum amount of B (as H3BO3) that can be sorbed by the sorbent was calculated from the D-R isotherm and was found to be 0.8 mmol B g−1 of sorbent. The applicability of the new sorbent for the removal/preconcentration of boron from aqueous samples was examined by batch method. It was found that the sorbent can take up 85% of boron in 5 min whereas quantitative sorption is obtained in 30 min. Any pH greater than 6 can be used for sorption. Desorption from the sorbent was carried out using 1.0 M HNO3. The sorption efficiency of the new sorbent was also compared to that of Amberlite IRA 743, a commercial resin with N-methylglucamine functional groups. Within the experimental conditions employed, the new sorbent was found to have higher sorption efficiency than the commercial resin. For method validation, spike recovery tests were performed at various concentration levels in different water types and were found to be between 83-95 and 75-92% for ultra pure water and geothermal water, respectively.  相似文献

This work probes the hydration properties and molecular dynamics of hybrid poly(hydroxyethyl-co-ethyl acrylate)/silica hydrogels. Two series of hybrid copolymers were prepared by simultaneous polymerization and silica preparation by sol-gel method, the first with hydroxyethyl acrylate/ethyl acrylate (HEA/EA) composition at 100/0, 90/10, 70/30, 50/50, 30/70, 10/90 and fixed silica content at 20 wt.%, and the second with fixed HEA/EA organic composition at 70/30 and 0, 5, 10 and 20 wt.% of silica. The hydration properties of these systems were studied at 25 °C by exposure to several controlled water vapor atmospheres (water activities 0-0.98) in sealed jars and by immersion in distilled water. Finally, the molecular dynamics of the hydrated hybrids at several levels of hydration was probed with Thermally Stimulated Depolarization Currents (TSDC) in the temperature interval between −150 and 20 °C. The results indicate that a critical region of silica content between 10 and 20 wt.% exists, above which silica is able to form an inorganic network. This silica network prevents the expansion of water clusters inside the hydrogels and subsequently the total stretching of the polymer network without obstructing the water sorption at the first stages of hydration from the dry state. As concerns the copolymer composition, the presence of EA reduces water sorption and formation of water clusters affecting directly to the hydrophilic regions. The TSDC thermograms reveal the presence of a single primary main broad peak denoted as αcop relaxation process, which is closely related to the copolymer glass transition, and of a secondary relaxation process denoted as βsw relaxation, which originates from the rotational motions of the lateral hydroxyl groups with attached water molecules. The single αcop implies structural homogeneity at the nanoscale in HEA-rich samples (xHEA > 0.5), while for high EA content (xEA ? 0.5) phase separation is detected. Both relaxation processes show strong dependence on water content and organic phase composition.  相似文献

Atrazine is a triazine herbicide which contains two secondary aliphatic amine groups. Previous studies have shown that aliphatic amines react with tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(III) to produce chemiluminescence. This paper describes the application of tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(III) to the detection of atrazine and related triazine herbicides in water by flow injection chemiluminescence analysis. The optimised experimental conditions were determined to be: sample and carrier flow rates of 4.6 mL min−1, sample at pH 9 buffered with 50 mM borax, and reagent concentration of 1 mM tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(III) in 20 mM H2SO4 (pH 1). Under these conditions, the logarithm of the chemiluminescence intensity versus concentration was linear in the range of 2.15-2150 μg L−1 for samples in MilliQ water, and the limit of detection of atrazine in water was determined to be 1.3 ± 0.1 μg L−1. Validation of the method was performed using direct injection HPLC. The presence of natural organic matter (NOM) significantly increased the chemiluminescence, masking the signal generated by atrazine. Isolating the target analyte via solid phase extraction (SPE) prior to analysis removed this interference and concentrated the samples, resulting in a greatly improved sensitivity with a detection limit of 14 ± 2 ng L−1.  相似文献

A natural biosorbent containing amine functional groups, chitosan, and a novel sorbent, chitosan-immobilized sodium silicate, were prepared and utilized for the selective sorption of As(V) from waters prior to its determination by atomic spectrometric techniques, namely, hydride generation atomic absorption spectrometry (HGAAS) and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Chitosan was synthesized from chitin and sodium silicate was used as the immobilization matrix due to its straightforward synthesis. Through sequential sorption studies, it was shown that chitosan-immobilized sodium silicate has exhibited a better chemical stability than the chitosan itself which demonstrates the advantage of immobilization method. Both chitosan and chitosan-immobilized sodium silicate were shown to selectively adsorb As(V), arsenate, from waters at pH 3.0 at which neither chitin nor sodium silicate displayed any sorption towards As(V). The sorption of arsenate by chitosan is supposed to have electrostatic nature since pH of 3.0 is both the point at which the amino groups in chitosan are protonated and also the predominant form of As(V) is H2AsO4. A pre-oxidation step is required if both As(III) and As(V) are to be determined. Desorption from the sorbents was realized with 1.0% (w/v) l-cysteine prepared in a pH 3.0 solution adjusted with HCl. Among the possible interfering species tested, only Te(IV) and Sb(III) were shown to cause a decrease in the sorption capacity especially at high interferant concentrations. High concentrations of Sb(III) also resulted in gas phase interference during hydride generation. The validity of the method was checked both via spike recovery experiments and also through the analysis of a standard reference material. Spike recovery tests were carried out with four different types of water; namely, ultra-pure, bottled drinking, tap, and sea water; and percent recovery values were found to be 114 (±4), 112 (±2), 43 (±4), and 0 (±1), respectively. It was concluded that the proposed methodology can be applied efficiently to low-to-medium ionic strength solutions, such as most drinking waters. The accuracy of the method was additionally investigated through the analysis of a standard reference material and a good correlation was found between the determined (26.6 ± 2.4 μg L−1) and the certified (26.67 μg L−1) value.  相似文献

A new synthesized modified mesoporous silica (MCM-41) using 5-nitro-2-furaldehyde (fural) was applied as an effective sorbent for the solid phase extraction of uranium(VI) and thorium(IV) ions from aqueous solution for the measurement by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP OES). The influences of some analytical parameters on the quantitative recoveries of the analyte ions were investigated in batch method. Under optimal conditions, the analyte ions were sorbed by the sorbent at pH 5.5 and then eluted with 1.0 mL of 1.0 mol L−1 HNO3. The preconcentration factor was 100 for a 100 mL sample volume. The limits of detection (LOD) obtained for uranium(VI) and thorium(IV) were 0.3 μg L−1. The maximum sorption capacity of the modified MCM-41 was found to be 47 and 49 mg g−1 for uranium(VI) and thorium(IV), respectively. The sorbent exhibited good stability, reusability, high adsorption capacity and fast rate of equilibrium for sorption/desorption of uranium and thorium ions. The applicability of the synthesized sorbent was examined using CRM and real water samples.  相似文献

An autonomous multi-parameter flow-through CO2 system has been developed to simultaneously measure surface seawater pH, carbon dioxide fugacity (fCO2), and total dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC). All three measurements are based on spectrophotometric determinations of solution pH at multiple wavelengths using sulfonephthalein indicators. The pH optical cell is machined from a PEEK polymer rod bearing a bore-hole with an optical pathlength of ∼15 cm. The fCO2 optical cell consists of Teflon AF 2400 (DuPont) capillary tubing sealed within the bore-hole of a PEEK rod. This Teflon AF tubing is filled with a standard indicator solution with a fixed total alkalinity, and forms a liquid core waveguide (LCW). The LCW functions as both a long pathlength (∼15 cm) optical cell and a membrane that equilibrates the internal standard solution with external seawater. fCO2 is then determined by measuring the pH of the internal solution. DIC is measured by determining the pH of standard internal solutions in equilibrium with seawater that has been acidified to convert all forms of DIC to CO2. The system runs repetitive measurement cycles with a sampling frequency of ∼7 samples (21 measurements) per hour. The system was used for underway measurements of sea surface pH, fCO2, and DIC during the CLIVAR/CO2 A16S cruise in the South Atlantic Ocean in 2005. The field precisions were evaluated to be 0.0008 units for pH, 0.9 μatm for fCO2, and 2.4 μmol kg−1 for DIC. These field precisions are close to those obtained in the laboratory. Direct comparison of our measurements and measurements obtained using established standard methods revealed that the system achieved field agreements of 0.0012 ± 0.0042 units for pH, 1.0 ± 2.5 μatm for fCO2, and 2.2 ± 6.0 μmol kg−1 for DIC. This system integrates spectrophotometric measurements of multiple CO2 parameters into a single package suitable for observations of both seawater and freshwater.  相似文献

Aminopolycarboxylic acid-type cellulose (Chelest Fiber Iry) has been studied for its sorption efficiencies with respect to lead from acidic solution. The influence pH and other properties related to sorption kinetic, isotherm, maximum capacity, stability and the mechanism of the sorption were discussed.Lead was quantitatively retained on the proposed adsorbent in the pH range of 2.5-5.5 (studied pH range 1.5-5.5). The maximum sorption capacity was found to be 0.86±0.06 mmol/g adsorbent. The decline in the efficiency of the adsorbent was not observed for repeated adsorption-desorption cycles. It was found that the preconcentration factor of 200 can be achieved. The limit of determination was found to be about 1 μg Pb/2 l. The method was applied to the determination of lead in water samples.  相似文献

We describe here a method for detecting and quantifying the highly carcinogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) benzo[a]pyrene (BaP) in water, based on a flow-trough optical sensor. The technique is fast (response time of 40 s) and simple and at the same time meets the standards of sensitivity and selectivity required by the European Guidelines on Water for Human Consumption. The optosensor is based on the on-line immobilization of BaP on a non-ionic resin (Amberlite XAD-4) solid support in a continuous-flow system. BaP was analyzed in a 15 mM H2PO4/HPO42− buffer solution with 25% (v/v) 1,4-dioxane at pH 7. Fluorescence intensity was measured at λex/em=392/406 nm. The experimental conditions (reagent phase, pH, type and concentration of buffer solution and organic solvent) and flow-injection values (flow rate and injection volume) were carefully controlled. Under these conditions the optosensor was sensitive to a linear concentration range of between 3.0 and 250.0 ng l−1 with a detection limit of 3.0 ng l−1 and a standard deviation of 1.5% at 150 ng l−1. The optosensor was applied to the quantification of BaP in drinking and waste water samples (95-105% recovery) in presence of the other 15 EPA PAHs at 1000 ng l−1 concentration level. The influence of other fluorescent polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and potential interference from ions usually present in water was also evaluated.  相似文献

The present paper proposes a preconcentration procedure for lead determination using flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). It is based on lead(II) ions extraction as brilliant cresyl blue (BCB) complex and its sorption onto Diaion HP-2MG, a methacrylic ester copolymer. The optimization step was carried out using factorial design and the variables studied were pH, shaking time and reagent concentration. In the established experimental conditions, lead can be determinate with a limit of detection of 3.7 μg L−1 lead (N = 20) and a relative standard deviation of 7% for a lead concentration of 100 μg L−1. The accuracy was confirmed by analysis of a certified reference material, the stream sediment furnished by National Research Centre for Certified Reference Materials (NRCCRM), China (GBW 07310). Effect of other ions in the procedure proposed was also studied. The method was applied for lead determination in real samples of water, tea, soil and dust. Tests of addition/recovery in the experiments for lead determination in water samples revealed that the proposed procedure could be applied satisfactorily for analysis of these samples.  相似文献

In this work, Amberlite XAD-2 resin functionalized with 4,5-dihydroxy-1,3-benzenedisulfonic acid was synthesized, characterized and applied as a new packing material for an on-line system to nickel preconcentration. The method is based on the sorption of Ni(II) ions in a minicolumn containing the synthesized resin, posterior desorption using an acid solution and measurement of the nickel by spectrophotometry (PAR method). The optimization of the system was performed using factorial design and Doehlert matrix considering five variables: eluent concentration, PAR solution pH, sample flow rate, PAR solution concentration and sample pH. Signals were measured as peak height by using an instrument software. Using the experimental conditions defined in the optimization, the method allowed nickel determination with achieved sampling rate of 25 samples per hour, detection limit (3 s) of 2 μg l−1 and precision (assessed as the relative standard deviation) of 8.2-2.6%, for nickel solutions of 10.0-200.0 μg l−1 concentration, respectively. The experimental enrichment factor of the proposed system was 46, for 120 s preconcentration time. The proposed procedure was applied for nickel determination in food samples. Recoveries of spike additions (5 or 10 μg g−1) to food samples were quantitative (94-110%).  相似文献
