In this paper the existence and uniqueness of different types of solutions to a class of semilinear retarded differential equations with nonlocal history conditions are obtained by a fixed point argument. We are concerned with an inverse problem for a degenerate linear evolution equation of first-order. Both hyperbolic and parabolic cases will be considered. We indicate sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of a solution. All the results can be applied to inverse problems for equations from mathematical physics. As a possible application of the abstract theorems, some examples of partial differential equations are given.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the existence for impulsive semilinear differential equations with nonlocal conditions. Using the techniques of approximate solutions and fixed point, existence results are obtained, for mild solutions, when the impulsive functions are only continuous and the nonlocal item is Lipschitz in the space of piecewise continuous functions, is not Lipschitz and not compact, is continuous in the space of Bochner integrable functions, respectively.  相似文献

This work is a continuation of our previous work, in the present paper we study the generalized nonlinear initial-boundary Riemann problem with small BV data for linearly degenerate quasilinear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws with nonlinear boundary conditions in a half space . We prove the global existence and uniqueness of piecewise C1 solution containing only contact discontinuities to a class of the generalized nonlinear initial-boundary Riemann problem, which can be regarded as a small BV perturbation of the corresponding nonlinear initial-boundary Riemann problem, for general n×n linearly degenerate quasilinear hyperbolic system of conservation laws; moreover, this solution has a global structure similar to the one of the self-similar solution to the corresponding nonlinear initial-boundary Riemann problem. Some applications to quasilinear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws arising in the string theory and high energy physics are also given.  相似文献

In this paper we characterize the existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions of inhomogeneous abstract delay equations and establish maximal regularity results for strong solutions. The conditions are obtained in terms of R-boundedness of linear operators determined by the equations and Lp- Fourier multipliers. The aim of the paper is to study necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the global solution of the one-dimensional semilinear equation appearing in the boundary value problems of gas dynamics. We investigate the Cauchy problem for such equation in the domain where the operator is weakly hyperbolic. We obtain the necessary condition for the existence of the self-similar solutions for the semilinear Gellerstedt-type equation. The approach used in the paper is based on the fundamental solution of the linear Gellerstedt operator and the Lp-Lq estimates.  相似文献

In this article we establish a substitution theorem for semilinear stochastic evolution equations (see's) depending on the initial condition as an infinite-dimensional parameter. Due to the infinite-dimensionality of the initial conditions and of the stochastic dynamics, existing finite-dimensional results do not apply. The substitution theorem is proved using Malliavin calculus techniques together with new estimates on the underlying stochastic semiflow. Applications of the theorem include dynamic characterizations of solutions of stochastic partial differential equations (spde's) with anticipating initial conditions and non-ergodic stationary solutions. In particular, our result gives a new existence theorem for solutions of semilinear Stratonovich spde's with anticipating initial conditions.  相似文献

We study the smoothness property of a function f with absolutely convergent Fourier series, and give best possible sufficient conditions in terms of its Fourier coefficients to ensure that f belongs either to one of the Lipschitz classes Lip(α) and lip(α) for some 0<α?1, or to one of the Zygmund classes Λ(1) and λ(1). Our theorems generalize some of those by Boas [R.P. Boas Jr., Fourier series with positive coefficients, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 17 (1967) 463-483] and one by Németh [J. Németh, Fourier series with positive coefficients and generalized Lipschitz classes, Acta Sci. Math. (Szeged) 54 (1990) 291-304]. We also prove a localized version of a theorem by Paley [R.E.A.C. Paley, On Fourier series with positive coefficients, J. London Math. Soc. 7 (1932) 205-208] on the existence and continuity of the derivative of f.  相似文献

We are interested in nonlocal eikonal equations describing the evolution of interfaces moving with a nonlocal, non-monotone velocity. For these equations, only the existence of global-in-time weak solutions is available in some particular cases. In this paper, we propose a new approach for proving uniqueness of the solution when the front is expanding. This approach simplifies and extends existing results for dislocation dynamics. It also provides the first uniqueness result for a Fitzhugh-Nagumo system. The key ingredients are some new perimeter estimates for the evolving fronts as well as some uniform interior cone property for these fronts.  相似文献

We obtain new fixed point theorems on multimaps in the class Bp defined on almost convex subsets of topological vector spaces. Our main results are applied to deduce various fixed point theorems, coincidence theorems, almost fixed point theorems, intersection theorems, and minimax theorems. We obtain a strong solution in charge critical space L2(R) of the Thirring system and Federbusch equations in one space dimension by using solution representation of the models. The present paper is concerned with asymptotic behaviours of the solutions to the micropolar fluid motion equations in R2. Upper and lower bounds are derived for the L2 decay rates of higher order derivatives of solutions to the micropolar fluid flows. The findings are mainly based on the basic estimates of the linearized micropolar fluid motion equations and generalized Gronwall type argument.  相似文献
