Reaction of a macrocyclic copper(II) complex [Cu(L)](ClO4)2 · 3H2O (I) (L = 1,3,10,12,16,19-hexaazatetracyclotetracosane) with a hexapod carboxylate ligand H6TTHA (H6TTHA = 1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triamine hexaacetic acid) and a tripod carboxylate ligand H3TATB (H3TATB = 4,4′,4″-S-triazine-2,4,6-triyl-tribenzoic acid) yielded two mononuclear copper(II) complexes [Cu(L)][H4TTHA] · 4H2O (II) and [Cu(L)][HTATB] · 4H2O (III). The complexes I–III have been structurally characterized. The crystal structures of complexes II and III show the copper(II) ion has a distorted pentacoordinate square-pyramidal geometry with two secondary and two tertiary amines from the macrocyclic complex [Cu(L)]2+ and one oxygen atom from the carboxylate ligand group at the axial position. The UV-Vis spectra are utilized to discuss the hydrolysis of the complex II.  相似文献

A novel proton transfer compound (H2Ppz)(HDipic)2 (I) obtained from 2-(piperazin-1-yl)ethanol (Ppz) and pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid (H2Dipic) and its Cu(II) complex (H2Ppz)[Cu(Dipic)2] · 6H2O (II) have been prepared and characterized by elemental, spectral (1H and 13C NMR, IR and Uv-Vis) and thermal analyses. Magnetic measurement and single crystal X-ray diffraction methods have also been applied for compound II. The molecular structure of II consists of one 1-(2-hydroxyethyl)piperazine-1,4-diium cation, one bis(pyridinium-2,6-dicarboxylate)Cu(II) anion and six uncoordinated water molecules. In complex II, the copper ion coordinates to two oxygen and one nitrogen atoms of two pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate molecules forming an octahedral conformation. Furthermore, the synthesised compounds (I and II) were screened for their antimicrobial activities against Gram (?) (Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) and Gram (+) (Staphylococcusaureus and Bacillus cereus). The results were reported, discussed and compared with the corresponding starting materials (H2Dipic and Ppz).  相似文献

The binuclear copper(II) complex [Cu2L(CH3COO)] (I), where L3? is the azomethine trianion based on 3-methyl-4-formyl-1-phenylpyrazol-5-one and 1,3-diaminopropan-2-ol, and its DMSO adduct (II) in which the DMSO molecule acts as an additional bridging ligand are synthesized. The structure of complex II is determined by X-ray diffraction analysis, and the structure parameters of the coordination unit of complex I are determined by EXAFS spectroscopy. The μ2-coordination of the DMSO molecule in compound II results in a change in the sign of the exchange interaction parameter. In complex I, the antiferromagnetic exchange interaction (2J = ?169 cm?1) occurs between the copper(II) ions. The exchange interaction of the ferromagnetic type (2J = 174 cm?1) is observed in complex II. The quantum-chemical calculations of the magnetic exchange parameters by the density functional theory method show that the role of the DMSO molecule as a switch of the exchange interaction character is exclusively the stabilization of the “broken” conformation of the metallocycles.  相似文献

2-N-Tosylaminobenzaldehyde ferrocenoylhydrazone (H2L) and the octahedral nickel(II) complex [Ni(HL)2] · 2CH3OH (I) are synthesized and structurally characterized (CIF files CCDC 981876 (H2L) and 981877 (I)). The crystal structures of both compounds include two independent molecules with different mutual orientations of the tosyl and ferrocene fragments. In a single crystal of H2L, the independent molecules are joined by intermolecular hydrogen bonds into infinite linear chains extended along the crystallographic axis x. The π-stacking interaction between the cyclopentadienyl rings is observed along with hydrogen bonds in a single crystal of complex I.  相似文献

A new azacrown bis-macrocycle (5) and its mono–cyclic analogue (7) were synthesized and characterized by FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, DEPT 13C NMR, MS, and elemental analysis. The reaction with copper(II) nitrate yielded the corresponding complexes, formulated as Cu(5)(NO3)2·3H2O (8), and Cu(7)(NO3)2·2.5H2O (9). Also the stoichiometries of the complexes were determined in alcoholic solution and the results show that for both complexes the ratio of ligand to metal was 1:1 in methanol. The redox behavior of both complexes has been studied by cyclic voltammetry in DMF. Cyclic voltamogram of 8 shows quasi-reversible CuII/CuI redox couple whereas 9 shows a reversible CuII/CuI redox couple. Mono- and bis-macrocycle copper(II) complexes (8 and 9 respectively) cleaved plasmid pGS2 DNA by using an oxidative mechanism with 3- mercaptopropionic acid (MPA) as the reductant under aerobic conditions. The bis-macrocycle copper(II) complex 8 showed higher cleavage efficiency than their mono-macrocycle analogue 9 at the same Cu2+ concentration.  相似文献

The [Cu2(L-H)2Cl2] compound (I) has been obtained by the reaction of 9(E)-phenanthrene-9,10-dione[(1Z)-3,3-dimethyl-3,4-dihydroisoquinolin-1(2H)-ylidene]hydrazone with copper(II) chloride. The crystal and molecular structure of I has been determined by X-ray crystallography. The L-H anion acts as a tridentate chelating ligand and is coordinated to the Cu atom through the O(1) atoms of the phenanthrenequinone moiety, the N(1) atom of the dihydroisoquinoline moiety, and the N(3) atom of the azo group to form two five-membered chelate rings. Complex I is a dimer with a double chloride bridge. The coordination polyhedron of the Cu atom is completed to a distorted pyramid by two chlorine atoms. The molecular and electronic structures of the L molecule and the model [Cu(L-H)Cl] complex have been determined by the density functional theory method. Spectroscopic characteristics of I have been determined.  相似文献

On reaction of different copper(II) salts with 3,4-bis(2-pyridylmethylthio)toluene (L) having neutral tetradentate NSSN donor set in different chemical environments, two mononuclear copper(II), one dinuclear copper(I) and one dinuclear copper(II) complexes, formulated as [CuII(L)(H2O)2](NO3)2 (1), [CuII(pic)2] (2), [CuI2(L)2](ClO4)2 (3) and [CuII2(L)2Cl2](ClO4)2 (4), respectively, were isolated in pure form [where pic = picolinate]. All the complexes were characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. The product of the reactions are dependent on the counter anion of copper(II) salts used as reactant and on the reaction medium. Complexes 1 and 4 were obtained with nitrate and perchlorate copper(II) salts, respectively. On the other hand, C–S bond cleavage was observed in the reaction of L with copper(II) chloride to form in situ picolinic acid and complex 2. Dinuclear complexes 3 and 4 were separated out when copper(II) perchlorate was allowed to react with L in methanol and in acetonitrile, respectively, under aerobic condition. The X-ray diffraction analysis of the dinuclear complex 3 shows a highly distorted tetrahedral geometry about each copper ion. Complex 4 is converted to 3 in acetonitrile in presence of catechol. The spectral study of complex 4 with calf thymus DNA is indicative of a groove binding mode interaction.  相似文献

Reactions of Ni(NO3)2 · 6H2O) in EtOH(iso-PrOH) with optically active bis(menthane) ethylene-diaminodioxime (H2L1), pinano-para-menthane ethylenediaminodioxime (H2L2), pinano-para-menthane propylenediaminodioxime (H2L3) and bis(pinane) propylenediaminodioxime (H2L4) were used to synthesize [Ni(H2L1)NO3[NO3 · 2H2O (I), [Ni(HL2)]NO3 (II), [Ni(HL3)]NO3 (III), and [Ni(HL4)]NO3 (IV). X-ray diffraction study of paramagnetic complex Ieff = 3.04 μB and diamagnetic complexes II and III revealed their ionic structures. A distorted octahedral polyhedron N4O2 in the cation of complex I is formed by the N atoms of tetradentate cycle-forming ligand, i.e., the H2L1 molecule, and the O atoms of the NO 3 ? anion acting as a bidentate cyclic ligand. In the cations of complexes II and III, containing a pinane fragment, the coordination core NiN4 has the shape of a distorted square formed on coordination of tetradentate cycle-forming ligands, i.e., anions of the starting dioximes. The structure of diamagnetic complex IV is likely to be similar to the structures of complexes II and III.  相似文献

Two new copper(II) complexes with 1,3-bis(5-(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)propane (H2L), [Cu2(HL)Cl3] · H2O (I) and [Cu(H2L)](ClO4)2 (II), were described. The compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and magnetochemical data. According to X-ray diffraction data (CIF files CCDC nos. 1497511 (I), 1497512 (II)), complex I is binuclear and the metal cations are bound by the nitrogen atoms of the triazole ring and by the chloride anion. Complex II is mononuclear. Analysis of the temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of I attests to the antiferromagnetic coupling of paramagnetic centers (–2J = 18 cm–1). Exchange channels are analyzed by means of density functional theory (B3LYP/6-311G(d)) using the broken symmetry approach.  相似文献

A Co(II) complex [Co3(L)4(H2O)6] · 2Cl (I), where L is salicylaldehyde-aminoacetic acid Schiff base, was synthesized and characterized via elemental analysis, UV, and single crystal X-ray crystallography. Complex I crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Pbcn with lattice parameters a = 9.569(4), b = 12.301(5), c = 36.931(14) Å, V = 4347(3) Å3, Z = 4, ρcalcd = 1.608 mg m?3. At the same time, the binding reaction between complex I and bovine serum albumin (BSA) was studied by fluorescence spectroscopy combined with UV-Vis absorption measurements under simulative physiological conditions. The results indicated that its combination reaction is mainly a static quenching process. Complex I bound BSA with a molar ratio of 1: 1 and the binding constant K A values are 3.86 × 105 L mol?1 (25°C) and 1.17 × 105 L mol?1 (36°C). The shortest binding distance r between the donor BSA and acceptor (complex I) is 2.49 nm, which affirms that complex I has partly inserted into the hydrophobic pocket of BSA.  相似文献

Three new heterometallic coordination compounds, namely, [KCu(I3)(L)2(H2O)2]n(1), [KCu(I3)(L)2(H2O)]n(2) and [CuK4(I3)2(L′)4]n(3), were prepared and characterized(HL=5-methylpyrazine-2-carboxylic acid, HL′=p-tolylacetic acid). Structural studies revealed that 1 and 2 exhibit 3D frameworks with rectangular channels occupied by triiodide ions. Both compounds can be symbolized as a 5-connected net with pcu topology. In compound 3, a one-dimensional polyhedral chain is connected by hexanuclear mask like clusters [Cu2K4O8]. These chains are further linked each other via rare(1,1,3,3)-triiodide ion-bridging units to generate a 3D(4,5,6)-connected net with the point symbol of {12}2{4·122}4{46}{48·62}4{49·66}4. It is noteworthy that water-induced reversible dissolution/reorganization processes occur between 1/2 and [Cu(L)2(H2O)]n·3nH2O. The thermal and photoluminescence properties of compounds 1, 2, and 3 were investigated as well.  相似文献

The synthesis of the [Cu(H2L)](NO3)2 complex (I) and of a mixed-valent complex [Cu(H2L)Cl]2[CuCl2]Cl·0.5H2O (II), where L is chiral bis(menthane) propylenediaminodioxime. According to the data of single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, compounds I and II have ionic structures. In complex cations, the Cu2+ ion coordinates four N atoms of tetradentate chelate ligand, namely, the H2L molecule. The coordination surrounding of the Cu atom in I is a distorted square CuN4, while in II, it is a distorted square pyramid CuN4Cl. The complex anion [CuCl2]? in II has linear structure. The mutual arrangement of oxime groups in H2L corresponds to amphi-configuration of a ligand and therefore, intramolecular hydrogen bond O...H-O are formed in H2L. The complex cations in compound II are joined in dimers through hydrogen bonds Cl...H-O. The values μeff for I and II are equal to 1.82 and 2.82 μB, respectively.  相似文献

A new complexes, namely, {[Mn2(L)2(Bipy)2] · H2O} n (I) (H2L = diphenic acid, Bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine) has been synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal diffraction analysis. In I, the two syn, anti-carboxylate groups in L bridge Mn(II) forming a one-dimensional chain, which is further connected by Bipy into 2D double layer. Magnetic study reveals the overall antiferromagnetic interaction between neighboring Mn2+ ions in compound I.  相似文献

Two complexes are synthesized: diaquabromo(18-crown-6)rubidium [RbBr(18-crown-6)(H2O)2] (I) and triaqua(18-crown-6)barium dibromide monohydrate [Ba(18-crown-6)(H2O)3]2+ 2Br? · H2O (II). The orthorhombic structure of compound I (space group Pnma, a = 10.124 Å, b = 15.205 Å, c = 12.544 Å, Z = 4) and the monoclinic structure of compound II (space group C 2/c, a = 17.910 Å, b = 10.315 Å, c = 14.879 Å, β = 123.23°, Z = 4) are determined by a direct method and refined by the full-matrix least-squares method in the anisotropic approximation to R = 0.063 (I) and 0.042 (II) for all 2293 (I) and 3363 (II) independent measured reflections (CAD-4 automated diffractometer, λMoK α). The complex molecule [RbBr(18-crown-6)(H2O)2] in compound I and the randomly disordered cation [Ba(18-crown-6)(H2O)3]2+ in compound II are of the host-guest type: their Rb+ or Ba2+ cation (its coordination number is nine) is located in the cavity of the 18-crown-6 ligand and coordinated by all six O atoms. In structure I, the coordination polyhedron of Rb+ is a distorted hexagonal pyramid with a triple apex at the Br? ligand and two O atoms of the water molecules. In structure II, the Ba2+ polyhedron is a distorted hexagonal bipyramid with one apex at the O atom of the water molecule and the other split apex at two O atoms of water molecules.  相似文献

New copper(II) complexes, [Cu2L1L2] · ClO4 (I) and [Ni(L3)2] (II), where L1 is the monoanionic form of 2-[1-(2-emthylaminoethylimino)ethyl]phenol, L2 is the dianionic form of N,N′-ethylene-bis(2-hydroxyacetophenonylideneimine), L3 is the mono-anionic form of 2-(1-iminoethyl)phenol, were prepared and characterized using elemental analysis, FT-IR spectroscopy, and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. In complex I, the Cu(1) atom is coordinated by the NNO tridentate ligand L1 and the two phenolate O atoms of L2, forming a square pyramidal geometry. The Cu(2) atom in complex I is coordinated by the NNOO tetradenate ligand L2, forming a square planar geometry. The Ni atom in complex II is coordinated by two phenolate O and two imine N atoms from two ligands L3, forming a square planar geometry. In the crystal structure of I, the perchlorate anions are linked to the dinuclear copper(II) complex cations through intermolecular N-H...O hydrogen bonds. In the crystal structure of II, the mononuclear nickel complex molecules are linked through intermolecular N-H...O hydrogen bonds, forming a trimer.  相似文献

Qualitative single crystals of ??-complexes Cu(H+L)(ClO4)]ClO4 · H2O (I), Cu(H+L)(BF4)]BF4 · H2O (II), and [Cu(H+L)(H2O)]SiF6 · H2O (III) are synthesized from solutions of 3-(diallylamino)propanenitrile (L) in propanol, ethanol, and methanol-water acidified with the corresponding acid to pH 3.5?C5 and from the copper(II) salts (Cu(ClO4)2 · 6H2O, Cu(BF4)2 · 6H2O, and CuSiF6 · 4H2O) using the alternating-current electrochemical method on copper wire electrodes. The crystal structures of the complexes are determined. All compounds crystallize in the monoclinic crystal system: complexes I and II are isostructural, space group P21/n, Z = 4. For compound III, space group P21/c, Z = 8. Unit cell parameters: for I a =7.8153(3), b = 16.7824(7), c = 12.4426(5) ?, ?? = 93.410(2)°, V = 1629.1(1) ?3; for II, a = 7.6755(4), b = 16.7119(7), c = 12.3784(6) ?, ?? = 94.354(2)°, V = 1583.2(1); and for III a = 9.826(2), b = 24.009(3), c = 12.061(2) ?, ?? = 91.820(6)°, V = 2843.9(7) ?3. The trigonal pyramidal coordination of the copper atom in complexes I-III is formed by two C=C bonds of the allyl groups of H+L, the nitrile N atom of the adjacent cation of the ligand, and the O or F atom of the ClO 4 ? or BF 4 ? anions. In structure III, the apical position of the pyramid is occupied by the O atom of the water molecule, since the SiF 6 2? anion is considerably remote from the copper(I) atom. However, this anion is bound to the organic cation by hydrogen bonds F??H (2.05?C2.51 ?).  相似文献

Compound I, [di-μ-methoxo-bis[(2-aminopyridine)(chloro)copper(II)], was obtained by two different synthetic routes. In synthetic route 1, we first obtained intermediate by the addition of two equivalents of o-aminopyridine to copper chloride in an ethanolic solution, and then we recrystallized the intermediate from methanol and n-hexane to give compound I. Synthetic route 2 involved the reaction of o-aminopyridine with copper chloride in a methanol solution directly. The crystal structure of compound I was obtained. The reaction of m-xylylenediamine with Zn(OAc)2 · 2H2O in THF resulted in the production of one novel zinc complex C12H18N2O4Zn, bis(m-xylenediamine)zinc (II) and its structure was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. Complexes I and II were also characterized by elemental analysis, and IR. Then they were applied as catalysts for the Henry reaction, and they achieved good conversions (64 and > 99%, respectively).  相似文献

Three new complexes, [CdL2(CH3COO)2(H2O)2] (I), CdL2Br2 (II), CdL2I2 (III), have been successfully synthesized by self-assembly of corresponding metal salts with (E)-2-(3-(4-(1H-imidazole-1-yl)styryl)-5,5-dimethylcyclohex-2-enylidene)malononitrile (L). The structures of the complexes were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis (CIF file CCDC nos. 957831 (I), 957792 (II), 957832 (III)). In complex I, central metal is six-coordinated and the crystal packing shows a 3D supramolecular framework. Complexes II and III display the similar 2D supramolecular structures in which the central metals are four-coordination. The luminescent properties were investigated.  相似文献

The copper aminotropones Cu[ON(R′)C7H4R-4]2 [R = H, R′ = Me (13), Et (14), n-Pr (15), n-Bu (16), Bz (17), MenOCH2CH2 (20); R = i-Pr, R′ = Me (18), n-Pr (19), MenOCH2CH2 (21)] have been prepared from the corresponding aminotropones HN(R′)OC7H4R-4 (17) by reacting with copper(II) acetate in aqueous ethanol. 20, 21 contain the flavourant, menthol, as part of the ligand. The structures of 5 (R = H, R′ = Bz), a hydrogen-bonded dimer, 14 and 20, both incorporating square-planar, four-coordinate copper centres, have been determined by X-ray crystallography. The antibacterial activities of complexes 13, 17, 20 and 21 have been assayed against Staphylococcus waneri, an in vitro model of plaque inhibition effects, and found to be more active than a commercial toothpaste formulation, but less active than the O,O-chelated copper(II) complex of ethylmaltol.  相似文献
