In this paper, we place several fuzzy measure subsets in relation one with the other. The subsets under study are those corresponding to the definitions of probability measure. Sugeno's gλ-measure, Shafer's belief function and Zadeh's possibility measure. We study the intersection of these subsets and we show the particular role of Dirac's measures in this comparison. We limit ourself to the case of mappins whose domain is the collection of all subsets of a finite set. Finally, the obtained partial results are summarized in only one figure which shoul clarify the specificity of each of the above definitions.  相似文献

The notion of product fuzzy topology in the case of fuzzy topology on fuzzy sets is introduced and the product invariance of fuzzy Hausdorffness, compactness, connectedness are examined. The product fuzzy topology is used to define fuzzy group topology on a fuzzy subgroup of a group G and some properties of fuzzy topological groups are obtained.  相似文献

This paper is a continuation of El-Ghoul (1993). It introduces a new definition for the folding of fuzzy torus. It gives the concept of the connection between the folding of fuzzy graphs and the folding of fuzzy torus. Theorems governing this connection are established here.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the fuzzy almost continuous convergence of fuzzy nets on the set FAC(X, Y) of all fuzzy almost continuous functions of a fuzzy topological space X into another Y. Also, we introduce the notions of fuzzy splitting and fuzzy jointly continuous topologies on the set FAC(X, Y) and study some of its basic properties.  相似文献

For conventional fuzzy clustering-based approaches to fuzzy system identification, a fuzzy function is used for cluster formation and another fuzzy function is used for cluster validation to determine the number and location of the clusters which define IF parts of the rule base. However, the different fuzzy functions used for cluster formation and validation may not indicate the same best number and location of the clusters. This potential disparity motivates us to propose a new fuzzy clustering-based approach to fuzzy system identification based on the bi-objective fuzzy c-means (BOFCM) cluster analysis. In this approach, we use the BOFCM function for both cluster formation and validation to simultaneously determine the number and location of the clusters which we hope can efficiently and effectively define IF parts of the rule base. The proposed approach is validated by applying it to the truck backer-upper problem with an obstacle in the center of the field.  相似文献

This paper discusses in detail some properties of Sugeno's gλ measure. A clustering algorithm making use of these properties is presented and its performance, when run on the well-known set of the iris data, is briefly described. The inherent advantages of the approach proposed are pointed out in the concluding part of the paper.  相似文献

In this study, by the use of Yuan and Lee’s definition of the fuzzy group based on fuzzy binary operation we give a new kind of fuzzy ring. The concept of fuzzy subring, fuzzy ideal and fuzzy ring homomorphism are introduced, and we make a theoretical study their basic properties analogous to those of ordinary rings.   相似文献

In this paper we present a new approach to handle uncertainty in the Finite Element Method. As this technique is widely used to tackle real-life design problems, it is also very prone to parameter-uncertainty. It is hard to make a good decision regarding design optimization if no claim can be made with respect to the outcome of the simulation. We propose an approach that combines several techniques in order to offer a total order on the possible design choices, taking the inherent fuzziness into account. Additionally we propose a more efficient ordering procedure to build a total order on fuzzy numbers.  相似文献

Comparison of fuzzy numbers using a fuzzy distance measure   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6
A new approach for ranking fuzzy numbers based on a distance measure is introduced. A new class of distance measures for interval numbers that takes into account all the points in both intervals is developed first, and then it is used to formulate the distance measure for fuzzy numbers. The approach is illustrated by numerical examples, showing that it overcomes several shortcomings such as the indiscriminative and counterintuitive behavior of several existing fuzzy ranking approaches.  相似文献

We give a systematic development of fuzzy matrix theory. Many of our results generalize to matrices over the two element Boolean algebra, over the nonnegative real numbers, over the nonnegative integers, and over the semirings, and we present these generalizations. Our first main result is that while spaces of fuzzy vectors do not have a unique basis in general they have a unique standard basis, and the cardinality of any two bases are equal. Thus concepts of row and column basis, row and column rank can be defined for fuzzy matrices. Then we study Green's equivalence classes of fuzzy matrices. New we give criteria for a fuzzy matrix to be regular and prove that the row and column rank of any regular fuzzy matrix are equal. Various inverses are also studied. In the next section, we obtain bounds for the index and period of a fuzzy matrix.  相似文献

In this paper we give some properties of fuzzy ideals and fuzzy bi-ideals of semigroups, and characterize semigroups that are (left) duo, (left) simple and semilattices of subsemigroups in terms of fuzzy ideals and fuzzy bi-ideals.  相似文献

Lowen and Lowen [Applications of category theory to fuzzy subsets (Kluwer, 1992) p. 153] and Lowen et al. [Fuzzy Sets and Systems 40 (1991) 347] recently introduced the category FCS of fuzzy convergence spaces, a topological quasitopos which is a supercategory of FTS, the category of fuzzy topological spaces. In this paper, compactness in FCS is examined. Doing so we found that to define compactness as an absolute property we had to generalize the definition of fuzzy convergence space to fuzzy subsets. All basic theorems are proved including the Tychonoff product theorem. Based on the theory developed here, in a following publication, a Richardson compactification for fuzzy convergence spaces will be given.  相似文献

We introduce a novel linear order on every family of fuzzy numbers which satisfies the assumption that their modal values must be all different and must form a compact subset of . A distinct new feature is that our linear determined procedure employs the corresponding order of a class interval associated with a confidence measure which seems intuitively anticipated. It is worthy noting that although we start from an entirely different rationale, we introduce a fuzzy ordering which initially coincides with the one established earlier by Ramik and Rimanek. However, this fuzzy ordering does not apply when the supports of the fuzzy numbers overlap. In order to cover such cases we extent this initial fuzzy ordering to the “extended fuzzy order” (XFO). This new XFO method includes a possibility and a necessity measure which are compared with the widely accepted PD and NSD indices of D. Dubois and H. Prade. The comparison shows that our possibility and necessity measures comply better with our intuition.  相似文献

On fuzzy metric spaces   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In this paper we introduce the concept of a fuzzy metric space. The distance between two points in a fuzzy metric space is a non-negative, upper semicontinuous, normal and convex fuzzy number. Properties of fuzzy metric spaces are studied and some fixed point theorems are proved.  相似文献

This paper gathers some elementary known results about convex fuzzy sets and completes the theory, introducing the necessary concepts. Using a representation theorem for fuzzy subspaces it gives separation theorems for convex fuzzy sets in the proper setting.  相似文献

A fuzzy program is defined in the usual way as a sequence of statements (instruction) which are considered as functions (possibly fuzzy functions) and fuzzy predicates defined on the given input domain. The essential difference in the approach presented in this paper is the new interpretation of the execution of fuzzy programs, and a new method of evaluating fuzzy predicates. The result of the fuzzy program execution is an appropriate fuzzy subset in the output domain.  相似文献
