An extended mapping deformation method is proposed for finding new exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs). The key idea of this method is to take full advantage of the simple algebraic mapping relation between the solutions of the PDEs and those of the cubic nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation. This is applied to solve a system of variant Boussinesq equations. As a result, many explicit and exact solutions are obtained, including solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions, Jacobian elliptic function solutions and other exact solutions.  相似文献

The searching exact solutions in the solitary wave form of non-linear partial differential equations(PDEs play a significant role to understand the internal mechanism of complex physical phenomena. In this paper, we employ the proposed modified extended mapping method for constructing the exact solitary wave and soliton solutions of coupled Klein-Gordon equations and the(2+1)-dimensional cubic Klein-Gordon(K-G) equation. The Klein-Gordon equation are relativistic version of Schr¨odinger equations, which describe the relation of relativistic energy-momentum in the form of quantized version. We productively achieve exact solutions involving parameters such as dark and bright solitary waves, Kink solitary wave, anti-Kink solitary wave, periodic solitary waves, and hyperbolic functions in which severa solutions are novel. We plot the three-dimensional surface of some obtained solutions in this study. It is recognized that the modified mapping technique presents a more prestigious mathematical tool for acquiring analytical solutions o PDEs arise in mathematical physics.  相似文献

In this paper, we find exact solutions of some nonlinear evolution equations by using generalized tanh–coth method. Three nonlinear models of physical significance, i.e. the Cahn–Hilliard equation, the Allen–Cahn equation and the steady-state equation with a cubic nonlinearity are considered and their exact solutions are obtained. From the general solutions, other well-known results are also derived. Also in this paper, we shall compare the generalized tanh–coth method and generalized (G /G )-expansion method to solve partial differential equations (PDEs) and ordinary differential equations (ODEs). Abundant exact travelling wave solutions including solitons, kink, periodic and rational solutions have been found. These solutions might play important roles in engineering fields. The generalized tanh–coth method was used to construct periodic wave and solitary wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations. This method is developed for searching exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations. It is shown that the generalized tanh–coth method, with the help of symbolic computation, provides a straightforward and powerful mathematical tool for solving nonlinear problems.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the traveling wave solutions for the nonlinear dispersive equation, Korteweg-de Vries Zakharov-Kuznetsov (KdV-ZK) equation and complex coupled KdV system by using extended simplest equation method, and then derive the hyperbolic function solutions include soliton solutions, trigonometric function solutions include periodic solutions with special values for double parameters and rational solutions. The properties of such solutions are shown by figures. The results show that this method is an effective and a powerful tool for handling the solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations (NLEEs) in mathematical physics.  相似文献

Applying the generalized method, which is a direct and unified algebraic method for constructing multiple travelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs), and implementing in a computer algebraic system, we consider the generalized Zakharov-Kuzentsov equation with nonlinear terms of any order. As a result, we can not only successfully recover the previously known travelling wave solutions found by existing various tanh methods and other sophisticated methods, but also obtain some new formal solutions. The solutions obtained include kink-shaped solitons, bell-shaped solitons, singular solitons, and periodic solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, based on new auxiliary nonlinear ordinary differential equation with a sixth-degree nonlinear term, we study the (2 1)-dimensional Davey-Stewartson equation and new types of travelling wave solutions are obtained, which include new bell and kink profile solitary wave solutions, triangular periodic wave solutions, and singular solutions. The method used here can be also extended to many other nonlinear partial differential equations.  相似文献

We apply a linear perturbation analysis to investigate the relationship between soliton oscillations and the integrability of nonlinear PDEs in bi-dimensional spacetime. For this purpose, we consider a localized solution of the nonlinear differential equation, and study small amplitude fluctuations around it. The linearized equation is a Schrödinger-like, eigenvalue problem. By considering several nonlinear PDEs, which are known to have soliton and solitary wave solutions, we find that in systems which are integrable, this eigenvalue equation has one and only one bound state with zero frequency. Non-integrable equations—in contrast—show extra bound states. The time evolution of the oscillations are also calculated, using a numerical program to integrate the time-dependent equation. The behavior of the modes are studied, using the Fourier transform of the evolving solutions.  相似文献

A new generalized Jacobi elliptic function method is used to construct the exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) in a unified way. The main idea of this method is to take full advantage of the elliptic equation which has more new solutions. More new doubly periodic and multiple soliton solutions are obtained for the generalized (3+1)-dimensional Kronig-Penny (KP) equation with variable coefficients. This method can be applied to other equations with variable coefficients.  相似文献

A new generalized transformation method is presented to find more exact solutions of nonlinear partial differential equation. As an application of the method, we choose the (3+1)-dimensional breaking soliton equation to illustrate the method. As a result many types of explicit and exact traveling wave solutions, which contain solitary wave solutions, trigonometric function solutions, Jacobian elliptic function solutions, and rational solutions, are obtained. The new method can be extended to other nonlinear partial differential equations in mathematical physics.  相似文献

In this paper, we generalize the extended tanh-function approach, which was used to find new exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations or coupled nonlinear partial differential equations, to nonlinear differential-difference equations. As illustration, two series of exact travelling wave solutions of the discrete sine-Gordon equation are obtained by means of the extended tanh-function approach.  相似文献

An extended Jacobi elliptic function method is proposed for constructing the exact double periodic solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) in a unified way. It is shown that these solutions exactly degenerate to the many types of soliton solutions in a limited condition. The Wu-Zhang equation (which describes the (2+1)-dimensional dispersive long wave) is investigated by this means and more formal double periodic solutions are obtained.  相似文献

We investigate solution properties of a class of evolutionary partial differential equations (PDEs) with viscous and inviscid regularization. An equation in this class of PDEs can be written as an evolution equation, involving only first-order spatial derivatives, coupled with the Helmholtz equation. A recently developed two-step iterative method (P.H. Chiu, L. Lee, T.W.H. Sheu, A dispersion-relation-preserving algorithm for a nonlinear shallow-water wave equation, J. Comput. Phys. 228 (2009) 8034–8052) is employed to study this class of PDEs. The method is in principle superior for PDE’s in this class as it preserves their physical dispersive features. In particular, we focus on a Leray-type regularization (H.S. Bhat, R.C. Fetecau, A Hamiltonian regularization of the Burgers equation, J. Nonlinear Sci. 16 (2006) 615–638) of the Hopf equation proposed in alternative to the classical Burgers viscous term. We show that the regularization effects induced by the alternative model can be vastly different from those induced by Burgers viscosity depending on the smoothness of initial data in the limit of zero regularization. We validate our numerical scheme by comparison with a particle method which admits closed form solutions. Further effects of the interplay between the dispersive terms comprising the Leray-regularization are illustrated by solutions of equations in this class resulting from regularized Burgers equation by selective elimination of dispersive terms.  相似文献
