Two isotypic layered rare-earth borate phosphates, K3Ln[OB(OH)2]2[HOPO3]2 (Ln=Yb, Lu), were synthesized hydrothermally and the crystal structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction (R3?, Z=3, Yb: a=5.6809(2) Å, c=36.594(5) Å, V=1022.8(2) Å3, Lu: a=5.6668(2) Å, c=36.692(2) Å, V=1020.4(1) Å3). The crystal structure can be described in terms of stacking of Glaserite-type slabs consisting of LnO6 octahedra interlinked by phosphate tetrahedra and additional layers of [OB(OH)2]- separated by K+ ions. Field and temperature dependent measurements of the magnetic susceptibility of the Yb-compound revealed Curie-Weiss paramagnetic behavior above 120 K (μeff=4.7 μB). Magnetic ordering was not observed down to 1.8 K.  相似文献

The novel alkaline earth silicate borate cyanides Ba7[SiO4][BO3]3CN and Sr7[SiO4][BO3]3CN have been obtained by the reaction of the respective alkaline earth metals M=Sr, Ba, the carbonates MIICO3, BN, and SiO2 using a radiofrequency furnace at a maximum reaction temperature of 1350°C and 1450°C, respectively. The crystal structures of the isotypic compounds MII7[SiO4][BO3]3CN have been determined by single-crystal X-ray crystallography (P63mc (no. 186), Z=2, a=1129.9(1) pm, c=733.4(2) pm, R1=0.0336, wR2=0.0743 for MII=Ba and a=1081.3(1) pm, c=695.2(1) pm, R1=0.0457, wR2=0.0838 for MII=Sr). Both ionic compounds represent a new structure type, and they are the first examples of silicate borate cyanides. The cyanide ions are disordered and they are surrounded by Ba2+/Sr2+ octahedra, respectively. These octahedra share common faces building chains along [001]. The [BO3]3− ions are arranged around these chains. The [SiO4]4− units are surrounded by Ba2+/Sr2+ tetrahedra, respectively. The title compounds additionally have been investigated by 11B, 13C, 29Si, and 1H MAS-NMR as well as IR and Raman spectroscopy confirming the presence of [SiO4]4−, [BO3]3−, and CN ions.  相似文献

Na11[CuO4][SO4]3 was obtained from a redox reaction of CuO with Na2O2 in the presence of Na2O and Na2SO4 in sealed Ag containers under Ar atmosphere at 600°C. The crystal structure has been determined from X-ray single crystal data at 293 and 170 K (Pnma, Z=4). The lattice parameters have been refined from X-ray powder data at 293 K as well: a=1597.06(6) pm, b=703.26(3) pm, c=1481.95(6) pm. The structure contains isolated distorted square-planar [CuO4]5− anions and non-coordinating sulfate groups. Furthermore, we report calculations of the Madelung Part of the Lattice Energy (MAPLE) and some of the physical properties of Na11[CuO4][SO4]3.  相似文献

The crystallographic structure of DyNiO3 has been investigated at T=200, 100, and 2 K from high-resolution neutron powder diffraction (NPD) data. We show that the structure is monoclinic, space group P21/n, from the metal-insulator transition temperature at TMI=564 K down to 2 K. The Ni atoms occupy two different sites 2d (Ni1) and 2c (Ni2), whose valences, estimated from bond-valence consideration, are +2.43(1) and +3.44(1) at 2 K, respectively. This is interpreted as the result of a partial charge disproportionation of the type 2Ni3+→Ni1(3−δ)++Ni2(3+δ)+, with δ≈0.55 at T=2 K. The magnetic structure has been studied from a NPD pattern at T=2 K, well below the establishment of the antiferromagnetic (AFM) ordering at TN=154 K, as well as from sequential data collected from 16 K down to 2 K. The magnetic order is defined by the propagation vector k=(1/2,0,1/2). Two possible magnetic structures are compatible with the magnetic intensities. In the second solution both Ni sublattices participate in the magnetic order, as well as Dy since it corresponds to a total disproportionation of Ni3+ to Ni2+ and Ni4+. In the second solution both Ni sublattices participate in the magnetic order, as well as Dy. The magnetic moments for Ni1 and Ni2 atoms at T=2 K are 1.8 (2) and 0.8 (2) μB, respectively. These values are also compatible with a partial charge disproportionation. Dy3+ ions exhibit long-range magnetic ordering below 8 K. An abrupt contraction of the unit-cell volume is observed at this temperature, due to a magnetoelastic coupling. The magnetic moment for Dy3+ at T=2 K is 7.87 (6) μB.  相似文献

A new hybrid organic-inorganic three-dimensional compound, [Co4(OH)2(H2O)2](C4H11N2)2[C6H2(CO2)4]2·3H2O 1, has been synthesized via hydrothermal reactions and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and magnetic techniques. Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n (no. 14) with a=6.3029(9) Å, b=16.413(2) Å, c=17.139(2) Å, β=98.630(2)°, V=1735.0(4) Å3, Z=2. Compound 1 contains tetranuclear Co4(μ3-OH)2(H2O)2 clusters that are inter-linked by pyromellitate bridging ligands into a three-dimensional structure containing one-dimensional tunnels along the a-axis with water and pendant monoprotonated piperazine molecules in the center. The variable temperature magnetic susceptibility was measured from 2 to 300 K at 5000 Oe showing a predominantly anti-ferromagnetic interaction in 1, and the field dependence of magnetization was measured at 2, 5, 15, and 20 K indicating the competition of magnetic interactions in the tetranuclear centers.  相似文献

Two new hydrated borates, Zn8[(BO3)3O2(OH)3] and Pb[B5O8(OH)]·1.5H2O, have been prepared by hydrothermal reactions at 170 °C. Single-crystal X-ray structural analyses showed that Zn8[(BO3)3O2(OH)3] crystallizes in a non-centrosymmetric space group R32 with a=8.006(2) Å, c=17.751(2) Å, Z=3 and Pb[B5O8(OH)]·1.5H2O in a triclinic space group P1¯ with a=6.656(2) Å, b=6.714(2) Å, c=10.701(2) Å, α=99.07(2)°, β=93.67(2)°, γ=118.87(1)°, Z=2. Zn8[(BO3)3O2(OH)3] represents a new structure type in which Zn-centered tetrahedra are connected via common vertices leading to helical ribbons 1[Zn8O15(OH)3]17− that pack side by side and are further condensed through sharing oxygen atoms to form a three-dimensional 3[Zn8O11(OH)3]9− framework. The boron atoms are incorporated into the channels in the framework to complete the final structure. Pb[B5O8(OH)]·1.5H2O is a layered compound containing double ring [B5O8(OH)]2− building units that share exocyclic oxygen atoms to form a two-dimensional layer. Symmetry-center-related layers are stacked along the c-axis and held together by interlayer Pb2+ ions and water molecules via electrostatic and hydrogen bonding interactions. The IR spectra further confirmed the existence of both triangular BO3 and OH groups in Zn8[(BO3)3O2(OH)3], and BO3, BO4, OH groups as well as guest water molecules in Pb[B5O8(OH)]·1.5H2O.  相似文献

A re-interpretation and re-evaluation of single-crystal X-ray diffraction data of a previously reported ‘(NH4)2(NH3)[Ni(NH3)2Cl4]’ (J. Solid State Chem. 162 (2001) 254) give a new formula (NH4)2−2z[Ni(NH3)2]z[Ni(NH3)2Cl4] with z=0.152. This new formula results from defects in an idealized ‘(NH4)2[Ni(NH3)2Cl4]’ basic structure, where two adjacent NH4+ cations are replaced by one Ni(NH3)22+ unit. Cl anions from the basic structure complete the coordination sphere of the new Ni2+ to [Ni(NH3)2Cl4]2−.  相似文献

The uranyl and neptunyl(VI) iodates, K3[(UO2)2(IO3)6](IO3)·H2O (1) and K[NpO2(IO3)3]·1.5H2O (2), have been prepared and crystallized under mild hydrothermal conditions. The structures of 1 and 2 both contain one-dimensional 1[AnO2(IO3)3]1−(An=U,Np) ribbons that consist of approximately linear actinyl(VI) cations bound by iodate anions to yield AnO7 pentagonal bipyramids. The AnO7 units are linked by bridging iodate anions to yield chains that are in turn coupled by additional iodate anions to yield ribbons. The edges of the ribbons are terminated by monodentate iodate anions. For 1 and 2, K+ cations and water molecules separate the ribbons from one another. In addition, isolated iodate anions are also found between 1[UO2(IO3)3]1− ribbons in 1. In order to aid in the assignment of oxidation states in neptunyl containing compounds, a bond-valence sum parameter of 2.018 Å for Np(VI) bound exclusively to oxygen has been developed with b=0.37 Å. Crystallographic data (193 K, MoKα, λ=0.71073): 1, triclinic, , a=7.0609(4) Å, b=14.5686(8)  Å, c=14.7047(8)  Å, α=119.547(1)°, β=95.256(1)°, γ=93.206(1)°, Z=2, R(F)=2.49% for 353 parameters with 6414 reflections with I>2σ(I); (203 K, MoKα, λ=0.71073): 2, monoclinic, P21/c, a=7.796(4)  Å, b=7.151(3)  Å, c=21.79(1)  Å, β=97.399(7)°, Z=4, R(F)=6.33% for 183 parameters with 2451 reflections with I>2σ(I).  相似文献

Three novel metal polyphosphides, α-SrP3, BaP8, and LaP5, were prepared in BN crucibles by the reaction of the respective stoichiometric mixtures under a high pressure of 3 GPa at 950-1000°C. Their crystal structures were determined from single-crystal X-ray data (α-SrP3: space group C2/m, a=9.199(6) Å, b=7.288(3) Å, c=5.690(3) Å, β=113.45(4)°, Z=4, R1/wR2=0.0684/0.1180 for 471 observed reflections and 22 variables; BaP8: space group P−1, a=6.762(2) Å, b=7.233(2) Å, c=8.567(2) Å, α=86.32(2)°, β=84.31(2)°, γ=70.40(2)°, Z=2, R1/wR2=0.0476/0.1255 for 2702 observed reflections and 82 variables; LaP5: space group P21/m, a=4.885(1) Å, b=9.673(3) Å, c=5.577(2) Å, β=105.32(2)°, Z=2, R1/wR2=0.0391/0.1034 for 1272 observed reflections and 31 variables). α-SrP3 is isostructural with SrAs3 and the crystal structure consists of two-dimensional puckered polyanionic layers 2[P3]2− that stack along the c-axis yielding channels occupied by Sr2+ counterions. BaP8 crystallizes in a new structure type which contains a three-dimensional infinite polyanionic framework 3[P3]2−, with large channels hosting the barium cations. LaP5 is a layered compound containing 2[P5]3− polyanionic layers separated by La3+ ions. All three compounds exhibit expected diamagnetic behaviors.  相似文献

Red phosphors gadolinium tungstate and molybdate with the formula Gd(2−x)MO6:Eux3+ (M=Mo, W) were successfully synthesized by the solid-state reaction at 900 and 1300 °C for 4 h, respectively. The products were characterized by an X-ray powder diffractometer (XRD), TG-DSC, FT-IR, PL, UV-vis and SEM. Room-temperature photoluminescence indicated that the as-prepared Gd(2−x)MO6:Eux3+ (M=Mo, W) had a strong red emission, which is due to the characteristic transitions of Eu3+ (5D07FJ, J=0, 1, 2, 3, 4) for these phosphors. Meanwhile, the 5D07F2 is in the dominant position. The emission quantum efficiency of Eu3+ in the Gd(2−x)MO6:Eux3+ (M=Mo, W) system has been investigated. The XRD results indicate that both Gd2WO6 and Gd2MoO6 belong to the monoclinic system with space group C2/c [A. Bril, G. Blasse, J. Chem. Phys. 45 (1966) 2350-2356] and I2/a [A. Bril, G. Blasse, J. Chem. Phys. 45 (1966) 2350-2356], respectively. SEM images indicate that the shape of Gd1.96WO6:Eu0.043+ is aggregated small particles with a mean diameter of about 300 nm, and the shape of Gd1.96MoO6:Eu0.043+ is block-like structures.  相似文献

New uranyl vanadates A3(UO2)7(VO4)5O (M=Li (1), Na (2), Ag (3)) have been synthesized by solid-state reaction and their structures determined from single-crystal X-ray diffraction data for 1 and 3. The tetragonal structure results of an alternation of two types of sheets denoted S for 2[UO2(VO4)2]4− and D for 2[(UO2)2(VO4)3]5− built from UO6 square bipyramids and connected through VO4 tetrahedra to 1[U(3)O5-U(4)O5]8− infinite chains of edge-shared U(3)O7 and U(4)O7 pentagonal bipyramids alternatively parallel to a- and b-axis to construct a three-dimensional uranyl vanadate arrangement. It is noticeable that similar [UO5]4− chains are connected only by S-type sheets in A2(UO2)3(VO4)2O and by D-type sheets in A(UO2)4(VO4)3, thus A3(UO2)7(VO4)5O appears as an intergrowth structure between the two previously reported series. The mobility of the monovalent ion in the mutually perpendicular channels created in the three-dimensional arrangement is correlated to the occupation rate of the sites and by the geometry of the different sites occupied by either Na, Ag or Li. Crystallographic data: 293 K, Bruker X8-APEX2 X-ray diffractometer equipped with a 4 K CCD detector, MoKα, λ=0.71073 Å, tetragonal symmetry, space group Pm2, Z=1, full-matrix least-squares refinement on the basis of F2; 1,a=7.2794(9) Å, c=14.514(4) Å, R1=0.021 and wR2=0.048 for 62 parameters with 782 independent reflections with I?2σ(I); 3, a=7.2373(3) Å, c=14.7973(15) Å, R1=0.041 and wR2=0.085 for 60 parameters with 1066 independent reflections with I?2σ(I).  相似文献

Application of high-pressure high-temperature conditions (3.5 GPa at 1673 K for 5 h) to mixtures of the elements (RE:B:S=1:3:6) yielded crystalline samples of the isotypic rare earth-thioborate-sulfides RE9[BS3]2[BS4]3S3, (RE=Dy-Lu), which crystallize in space group P63 (Z=2/3) and adopt the Ce6Al3.33S14 structure type. The crystal structures were refined from X-ray powder diffraction data by applying the Rietveld method. Dy: a=9.4044(2) Å, c=5.8855(3) Å; Ho: a=9.3703(1) Å, c=5.8826(1) Å; Er: a=9.3279(12) Å, c=5.8793(8) Å; Tm: a=9.2869(3) Å, c=5.8781(3) Å; Yb: a=9.2514(5) Å, c=5.8805(6) Å; Lu: a=9.2162(3) Å, c=5.8911(3) Å. The isotypic oxonitridosilicate halides Ce10[Si10O9N17]Br, Nd10[Si10O9N17]Br and Nd10[Si10O9N17]Cl were obtained by the reaction of the respective lanthanide metals, their oxides and halides with “Si(NH)2” in a radiofrequency furnace at temperatures around 1800 °C, using CsBr, resp. CsCl, as a flux. The crystal structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction (Pbam, no. 55, Z=2; Ce/Br: a=10.6117(9) Å, b=11.2319(10) Å, c=11.688(8) Å, R1=0.0356; Nd/Br: a=10.523(2) Å, b=11.101(2) Å, c=11.546(2) Å, R1=0.0239; Nd/Cl: a=10.534(2) Å, b=11.109(2) Å, c=11.543(2) Å, R1=0.0253) and represent a new layered structure type. The structure refinements were performed utilizing an O/N-distribution model according to Paulings rules, i.e. nitrogen was positioned on all bridging sites and mixed O/N-occupation was assumed on the terminal sites resulting in charge neutrality of the compounds. The layers consist of condensed [SiN2(O/N)2] and [SiN3(O/N)] tetrahedra of Q2 and Q3 type. The chemical composition of the compounds was derived from chemical analyses for Nd10[Si10O9N17]Br and electron probe micro analyses (EPMA) for all three compounds. The results of IR spectroscopic investigations are reported.  相似文献

The new complex oxide Na2SrV3O9 was synthesized and investigated by means of X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy and magnetic susceptibility measurements. This oxide has a monoclinic unit cell with parameters a=5.416(1) Å, b=15.040(3) Å, c=10.051(2) Å, β=97.03(3)°, space group P21/c and Z=4. The crystal structure of Na2SrV3O9, as determined from X-ray single-crystal data, is built up from isolated chains formed by square V4+O5 pyramids. Neighboring pyramids are linked by two bridging V5+O4 tetrahedra sharing a corner with each pyramid. The Na and Sr atoms are situated between the chains. Electron diffraction and HREM investigations confirmed the crystal structure. The temperature dependence of the susceptibility indicates low-dimensional magnetic behavior with a sizeable strength of the magnetic intra-chain exchange J of the order of 80 K, which is very likely due to superexchange through the two VO4 tetrahedra linking the magnetic V4+ cations.  相似文献

The rare-earth dicarboxylate hybrid materials [Ce(H2O)]2[O2C(CH2)2CO2]3 ([Ce(Suc)]) and [Sm(H2O)]2[O2C(CH2)2CO2]3·H2O ([Sm(Suc)]) have been hydrothermally synthesized (200°C, 3 days) under autogenus pressure. [Ce(Suc)] is triclinic, a=7.961 (3) Å, b=8.176 (5) Å, c=14.32 (2) Å, α=97.07° (7), β=96.75° (8), γ=103.73° (6), and z=2. The crystal structure of this compound has been determined using 3120 unique single crystal data. The final refinements let the agreement factors R1 and wR2(F2) converge to 0.0138 and 0.0363, respectively. [Ce(Suc)] is built up from infinite chains of edge-sharing nine-fold coordinated cerium atoms running along [100]. These chains are interconnected by the carbon atoms of the succinate anions, leading to a three-dimensional hybrid framework. The cell constants of [Sm(Suc)], isotypic with monoclinic C2/c [Pr(H2O)]2[O2C(CH2)2CO2]3·H2O ([Pr(Suc)]), were refined starting from X-ray powder data: a=20.275 (3) Å, b=7.919 (6) Å, c=14.130 (3) Å, and β=121.45° (1). Despite its lower symmetry, [Ce(Suc)] presents an important structural filiation with [Sm(Suc)]  相似文献

The crystal structure of a new Fe(III) dimer obtained by fluorination of FeCl3 with Me3SnF in the presence of oxalic acid and crystallization from dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) has been determined: [Fe2oxF4(DMSO)4] 1, Space group P21/n, Z=2, a=7.259(2), b=11.409(3), c=13.374(2) Å, β=97.26(1), R=4.47%. It shows a tetradentate bridging oxalato, equatorial cis fluorine and axial trans DMSO ligands. From an aqueous solution of FeF3·3H2O, oxalic acid, and imidazolium fluoride, crystals of (imidH)2[Fe2oxF6] 2 could be precipitated. Space group Pban, Z=2, a=9.143(2), b=20.837(6), c=3.890(1) Å, R=2.51%. The structure shows anionic chains formed by bridging trans fluorine ligands connected, like in the dimer above, by oxalate anions to form a double chain. The magnetic properties were determined on powders by SQUID measurements. Mössbauer experiments were performed on the S=5/2 Fe3+ double chain of (imidH)2[Fe2oxF6], where the anisotropy is of dipolar origin and is therefore very weak. The striking result is the characteristic aspect of two magnetic split spectra below TN and additionally, the coexistence of a temperature dependent paramagnetic component (doublet) and the magnetic split spectra in the temperature range TN=14.5 and TH=40 K. The origin of that unusual behaviour is attributed to nonlinear excitations (magnetic solitons) in systems with small local anisotropy. Consequently, the domain wall width should be large. The subspectrum of the doublet was identified with intraband solitons. The relative intensity of the fast relaxing component increases with increasing temperature as ∝exp(−Es/kT). From the slope of fractional intensity of the broadened doublet as a function of inverse temperature, the activation energy Es/k=40(1) K was derived. Considering the results of magnetic susceptibility measurements of the intra-chain exchange constant J/k=−17.3(2) K, we found an anisotropy constant of D/k=0.15(2) K in agreement with our magnetic study. Additionally, parameters as the inter-chain constants J′/k=0.08(2) K and J″/k=0.60(5) K were calculated. Speculatively, from the experimental data of the magnetically split spectra the ratio (domain length/domain wall width) ≈ 2 was estimated at TN, in agreement with the theoretical expectations. Finally, the results obtained for the double chain of (imidH)2[Fe2oxF6] with weak anisotropy are compared with previously reported Mössbauer experiments on -doped powder of (ND4)2MnF5, inelastic neutron scattering, and magnetic susceptibility measurements on single crystals of (ND4)2MnF5 with strong anisotropy.  相似文献

It crystallizes in an orthorhombic cell (space group Immm (No. 71), Z=2) with a=4.0781(6), b=12.588(2), and c=19.804(3) Å at 298 K. The structural formula is expressed as Ba8[CuN2]2 [CuN]In4. Nitridocuprates of one-dimensional chains 1[CuN2/2] and isolated units 0[CuN2], and one-dimensional indium clusters 1[In2In4/2] are contained in the structure. A split-site model applied for the arrangement of 1[CuN2/2] chains suggested that there is a short-bond, long-bond alternation of the Cu-N bondings. The electrical resistivity of Ba8Cu3In4N5 was 3.44 mΩ·cm at 298 K. A metallic temperature dependence of the resistivity was observed down to 10 K.  相似文献
