In the hydrochloride of a pyrazolyl-substituted acetylacetone, the chloride anion is hydrogen-bonded to the protonated pyrazolyl moiety. Equimolar co-crystallization with tetrafluorodiiodobenzene (TFDIB) leads to a supramolecular aggregate in which TFDIB is situated on a crystallographic center of inversion. The iodine atom in the asymmetric unit acts as halogen bond donor, and the chloride acceptor approaches the σ-hole of this TFDIB iodine subtending an almost linear halogen bond, with Cl···I = 3.1653(11) Å and Cl···I–C = 179.32(6)°. This contact is roughly orthogonal to the N–H···Cl hydrogen bond. An analysis of the electron density according to Bader’s Quantum Theory of Atoms in Molecules confirms bond critical points (bcps) for both short contacts, with ρbcp = 0.129 for the halogen and 0.321 eÅ3 for the hydrogen bond. Our halogen-bonded adduct represents the prototype for a future class of co-crystals with tunable electron density distribution about the σ-hole contact.  相似文献

The rotational spectrum of the 1:1 N,N-diethylhydroxylamine-water complex has been investigated using pulsed jet Fourier transform microwave spectroscopy in the 6.5–18.5 GHz frequency region. The most stable conformer has been detected as well as the 13C monosubstituted isotopologues in natural abundance and the 18O enriched water species, allowing to determine the nitrogen nuclear quadrupole coupling constants and the molecular structure in the vibrational ground state. The molecule has a Cs symmetry and the water lies in the bc symmetry plane forming two hydrogen bonds with the NOH frame with length: dHOH·NOH = 1.974 Å and dH2O·HON = 2.096 Å. From symmetry-adapted perturbation theory calculations coupled to atoms in molecule approach, the corresponding interaction energy values are estimated to be 24 and 13 kJ·mol1, respectively. The great strength of the intermolecular interaction involving the nitrogen atom is in agreement with the high reactivity of hydroxylamine compounds at the nitrogen site.  相似文献

Soft anions exhibit surface activity at the air/water interface that can be probed using surface-sensitive vibrational spectroscopy, but the structural implications of this surface activity remain a matter of debate. Here, we examine the nature of anion–water interactions at the air/water interface using a combination of molecular dynamics simulations and quantum-mechanical energy decomposition analysis based on symmetry-adapted perturbation theory. Results are presented for a set of monovalent anions, including Cl, Br, I, CN, OCN, SCN, NO2, NO3, and ClOn (n=1,2,3,4), several of which are archetypal examples of surface-active species. In all cases, we find that average anion–water interaction energies are systematically larger in bulk water although the difference (with respect to the same quantity computed in the interfacial environment) is well within the magnitude of the instantaneous fluctuations. Specifically for the surface-active species Br(aq), I(aq), ClO4(aq), and SCN(aq), and also for ClO(aq), the charge-transfer (CT) energy is found to be larger at the interface than it is in bulk water, by an amount that is greater than the standard deviation of the fluctuations. The Cl(aq) ion has a slightly larger CT energy at the interface, but NO3(aq) does not; these two species are borderline cases where consensus is lacking regarding their surface activity. However, CT stabilization amounts to <20% of the total induction energy for each of the ions considered here, and CT-free polarization energies are systematically larger in bulk water in all cases. As such, the role of these effects in the surface activity of soft anions remains unclear. This analysis complements our recent work suggesting that the short-range solvation structure around these ions is scarcely different at the air/water interface from what it is in bulk water. Together, these observations suggest that changes in first-shell hydration structure around soft anions cannot explain observed surface activities.  相似文献

The RAHB systems in malonaldehyde and its derivatives at MP2/ 6‐311++G(d,p) level of theory were studied and their intramolecular hydrogen bond energies by using the related rotamers method was obtained. The topological properties of electron density distribution in O? H···O intramolecular hydrogen bond have been analyzed in term of quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM). Correlations between the H‐bond strength and topological parameters are probed. The results of QTAIM clearly showed that the linear correlation between the electron density distribution at HB critical point and RAHB ring critical point with the corresponding hydrogen bond energies was obtained. Moreover, it was found a linear correlation between the electronic potential energy density, V(rcp), and hydrogen bond energy which can be used as a simple equation for evaluation of HB energy in complex RAHB systems. Finally, the similar linear treatment between the geometrical parameters, such as O···O or O? H distance, and Lp(O)→σ*OH charge transfer energy with the intramolecular hydrogen bond energy is observed. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc., Int J Quantum Chem, 2011  相似文献

For decades, sulfur has remained underdetected in molecular form within the dense interstellar medium (ISM), and somewhere a molecular sulfur sink exists where it may be hiding. With the discovery of hydrogen peroxide (HOOH) in the ISM in 2011, a natural starting point may be found in sulfur-bearing analogs that are chemically similar to HOOH: hydrogen thioperoxide (HOSH) and hydrogen persulfide (HSSH). The present theoretical study couples the accuracy in the anharmonic fundamental vibrational frequencies from the explicitly correlated coupled cluster theory with the accurate rotational constants provided by canonical high-level coupled cluster theory to produce rovibrational spectra for use in the potential observation of HOSH and HSSH. The ν6 mode for HSSH at 886.1 cm1 is within 0.2 cm1 of the gas-phase experiment, and the B0 rotational constant for HSSH of 6979.5 MHz is within 9.0 MHz of the experimental benchmarks, implying that the unknown spectral features (such as the first overtones and combination bands) provided herein are similarly accurate. Notably, a previous experimentally-attributed 2ν1 mode, at 7041.8 cm1, has been reassigned to the ν1+ν5 combination band based on the present work’s ν1+ν5 value at 7034.3 cm1. The most intense vibrational transitions for each molecule are the torsions, with HOSH having a more intense transition of 72 km/mol compared to HSSH’s intensity of 14 km/mol. Furthermore, HOSH has a larger net dipole moment of 1.60 D compared to HSSH’s 1.15 D. While HOSH may be the more likely candidate of the two for possible astronomical observation via vibrational spectroscopy due to the notable difference in their intensities, both HSSH and HOSH have large enough net dipole moments to be detectable by rotational spectroscopy to discover the role these molecules may have as possible molecular sulfur sinks in the dense ISM.  相似文献

Tetrazines with branched alkoxy substituents are liquids at ambient temperature that despite the high chromophore density retain the bright orange fluorescence that is characteristic of this exceptional fluorophore. Here, we study the photophysical properties of a series of alkoxy-tetrazines in solution and as neat liquids. We also correlate the size of the alkoxy substituents with the viscosity of the liquids. We show using time-resolved spectroscopy that intersystem crossing is an important decay pathway competing with fluorescence, and that its rate is higher for 3,6-dialkoxy derivatives than for 3-chloro-6-alkoxytetrazines, explaining the higher fluorescence quantum yields for the latter. Quantum chemical calculations suggest that the difference in rate is due to the activation energy required to distort the tetrazine core such that the nπ*S1 and the higher-lying ππ*T2 states cross, at which point the spin-orbit coupling exceeding 10 cm1 allows for efficient intersystem crossing to occur. Femtosecond time-resolved anisotropy studies in solution allow us to measure a positive relationship between the alkoxy chain lengths and their rotational correlation times, and studies in the neat liquids show a fast decay of the anisotropy consistent with fast exciton migration in the neat liquid films.  相似文献

Our long-term investigations have been devoted the characterization of intramolecular hydrogen bonds in cyclic compounds. Our previous work covers naphthazarin, the parent compound of two systems discussed in the current work: 2,3-dimethylnaphthazarin (1) and 2,3-dimethoxy-6-methylnaphthazarin (2). Intramolecular hydrogen bonds and substituent effects in these compounds were analyzed on the basis of Density Functional Theory (DFT), Møller–Plesset second-order perturbation theory (MP2), Coupled Clusters with Singles and Doubles (CCSD) and Car-Parrinello Molecular Dynamics (CPMD). The simulations were carried out in the gas and crystalline phases. The nuclear quantum effects were incorporated a posteriori using the snapshots taken from ab initio trajectories. Further, they were used to solve a vibrational Schrödinger equation. The proton reaction path was studied using B3LYP, ωB97XD and PBE functionals with a 6-311++G(2d,2p) basis set. Two energy minima (deep and shallow) were found, indicating that the proton transfer phenomena could occur in the electronic ground state. Next, the electronic structure and topology were examined in the molecular and proton transferred (PT) forms. The Atoms In Molecules (AIM) theory was employed for this purpose. It was found that the hydrogen bond is stronger in the proton transferred (PT) forms. In order to estimate the dimers’ stabilization and forces responsible for it, the Symmetry-Adapted Perturbation Theory (SAPT) was applied. The energy decomposition revealed that dispersion is the primary factor stabilizing the dimeric forms and crystal structure of both compounds. The CPMD results showed that the proton transfer phenomena occurred in both studied compounds, as well as in both phases. In the case of compound 2, the proton transfer events are more frequent in the solid state, indicating an influence of the environmental effects on the bridged proton dynamics. Finally, the vibrational signatures were computed for both compounds using the CPMD trajectories. The Fourier transformation of the autocorrelation function of atomic velocity was applied to obtain the power spectra. The IR spectra show very broad absorption regions between 700 cm1–1700 cm1 and 2300 cm1–3400 cm1 in the gas phase and 600 cm1–1800 cm1 and 2200 cm1–3400 cm1 in the solid state for compound 1. The absorption regions for compound 2 were found as follows: 700 cm1–1700 cm1 and 2300 cm1–3300 cm1 for the gas phase and one broad absorption region in the solid state between 700 cm1 and 3100 cm1. The obtained spectroscopic features confirmed a strong mobility of the bridged protons. The inclusion of nuclear quantum effects showed a stronger delocalization of the bridged protons.  相似文献

The subject of research is forty dimers formed by imidazol-2-ylidene (I) or its derivative (IR2) obtained by replacing the hydrogen atoms in both N-H bonds with larger important and popular substituents of increasing complexity (methyl = Me, iso-propyl = iPr, tert-butyl = tBu, phenyl = Ph, mesityl = Mes, 2,6-diisopropylphenyl = Dipp, 1-adamantyl = Ad) and fundamental proton donor (HD) molecules (HF, HCN, H2O, MeOH, NH3). While the main goal is to characterize the generally dominant C⋯H-D hydrogen bond engaging a carbene carbon atom, an equally important issue is the often omitted analysis of the role of accompanying secondary interactions. Despite the often completely different binding possibilities of the considered carbenes, and especially HD molecules, several general trends are found. Namely, for a given carbene, the dissociation energy values of the IR2HD dimers increase in the following order: NH3< H2O < HCN ≤ MeOH ≪ HF. Importantly, it is found that, for a given HD molecule, IDipp2 forms the strongest dimers. This is attributed to the multiplicity of various interactions accompanying the dominant C⋯H-D hydrogen bond. It is shown that substitution of hydrogen atoms in both N-H bonds of the imidazol-2-ylidene molecule by the investigated groups leads to stronger dimers with HF, HCN, H2O or MeOH. The presented results should contribute to increasing the knowledge about the carbene chemistry and the role of intermolecular interactions, including secondary ones.  相似文献

Quantum computers are reaching one crucial milestone after another. Motivated by their progress in quantum chemistry, we performed an extensive series of simulations of quantum-computer runs that were aimed at inspecting the best-practice aspects of these calculations. In order to compare the performance of different setups, the ground-state energy of the hydrogen molecule was chosen as a benchmark for which the exact solution exists in the literature. Applying the variational quantum eigensolver (VQE) to a qubit Hamiltonian obtained by the Bravyi–Kitaev transformation, we analyzed the impact of various computational technicalities. These included (i) the choice of the optimization methods, (ii) the architecture of the quantum circuits, as well as (iii) the different types of noise when simulating real quantum processors. On these, we eventually performed a series of experimental runs as a complement to our simulations. The simultaneous perturbation stochastic approximation (SPSA) and constrained optimization by linear approximation (COBYLA) optimization methods clearly outperformed the Nelder–Mead and Powell methods. The results obtained when using the Ry variational form were better than those obtained when the RyRz form was used. The choice of an optimum entangling layer was sensitively interlinked with the choice of the optimization method. The circular entangling layer was found to worsen the performance of the COBYLA method, while the full-entangling layer improved it. All four optimization methods sometimes led to an energy that corresponded to an excited state rather than the ground state. We also show that a similarity analysis of measured probabilities can provide a useful insight.  相似文献

Carbamazepine (CBZ), as a typical pharmaceutical and personal care product (PPCP), cannot be efficiently removed by the conventional drinking water and wastewater treatment process. In this work, the CoS2/Fe2+/PMS process was applied for efficient elimination of CBZ. The CBZ removal efficiency of CoS2/Fe2+/PMS was 2.5 times and 23 times higher than that of CoS2/PMS and Fe2+/PMS, respectively. The intensity of DMPO-HO• and DMPO-SO4 followed the order of Fe2+/PMS < CoS2/PMS < CoS2/Fe2+/PMS, also suggesting the CoS2/Fe2+/PMS process has the highest oxidation activity. The effects of reaction conditions (e.g., CoS2 dosage, Fe2+ concentration, PMS concentration, initial CBZ concentration, pH, temperature) and water quality parameters (e.g., SO42, NO3, H2PO4, Cl, NH4+, humic acid) on the degradation of CBZ were also studied. Response surface methodology analysis was carried out to obtain the best conditions for the removal of CBZ, which are: Fe2+ = 70 µmol/L, PMS = 240 µmol/L, CoS2 = 0.59 g/L. The sustainability test demonstrated that the repeated use of CoS2 for 8 successive cycles resulted in little function decrease (<10%). These findings suggest that CoS2/Fe2+/PMS may be a promising method for advanced treatment of tailwater from sewage treatment plant.  相似文献

The ditopic molecule 3-(1,3,5-trimethyl-1H-4-pyrazolyl)pentane-2,4-dione (HacacMePz) combines two different Lewis basic sites. It forms a crystalline adduct with the popular halogen bond (XB) donor 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-1,4-diiodobenzene (TFDIB) with a HacacMePz:TFDIB ratio of 2:3. In a simplified picture, the topology of the adduct corresponds to a hcb net. In addition to the expected acetylacetone keto O and pyrazole N acceptor sites, a third and less common short contact to a TFDIB iodine is observed: The acceptor site is again the most electron-rich site of the pyrazole π-system. This iminic N atom is thus engaged as the acceptor in two orthogonal halogen bonds. Evaluation of the geometric results and of a single-point calculation agree with respect to the strength of the intermolecular contacts: The conventional N⋯I XB is the shortest (2.909(4) Å) and associated with the highest electron density (0.150 eÅ3) in the bond critical point (BCP), followed by the O⋯I contact (2.929(3) Å, 0.109 eÅ3), and the π contact (3.2157(3) Å, 0.075 eÅ3). If one accepts the idea of deducing interaction energies from energy densities at the BCP, the short contacts also follow this sequence. Two more criteria identify the short N⋯I contact as the most relevant: The associated C–I bond is significantly longer than the database average, and it is the only intermolecular interaction with a negative total energy density in the BCP.  相似文献

We present a simulation study of supramolecular aggregates formed by three-arm azobenzene (Azo) stars with a benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxamide (BTA) core in water. Previous experimental works by other research groups demonstrate that such Azo stars assemble into needle-like structures with light-responsive properties. Disregarding the response to light, we intend to characterize the equilibrium state of this system on the molecular scale. In particular, we aim to develop a thorough understanding of the binding mechanism between the molecules and analyze the structural properties of columnar stacks of Azo stars. Our study employs fully atomistic molecular dynamics (MD) simulations to model pre-assembled aggregates with various sizes and arrangements in water. In our detailed approach, we decompose the binding energies of the aggregates into the contributions due to the different types of non-covalent interactions and the contributions of the functional groups in the Azo stars. Initially, we investigate the origin and strength of the non-covalent interactions within a stacked dimer. Based on these findings, three arrangements of longer columnar stacks are prepared and equilibrated. We confirm that the binding energies of the stacks are mainly composed of ππ interactions between the conjugated parts of the molecules and hydrogen bonds formed between the stacked BTA cores. Our study quantifies the strength of these interactions and shows that the ππ interactions, especially between the Azo moieties, dominate the binding energies. We clarify that hydrogen bonds, which are predominant in BTA stacks, have only secondary energetic contributions in stacks of Azo stars but remain necessary stabilizers. Both types of interactions, ππ stacking and H-bonds, are required to maintain the columnar arrangement of the aggregates.  相似文献

Deuterium isotope effects on acid–base equilibrium have been investigated using a combined path integral and free-energy perturbation simulation method. To understand the origin of the linear free-energy relationship of ΔpKa=pKaD2OpKaH2O versus pKaH2O, we examined two theoretical models for computing the deuterium isotope effects. In Model 1, only the intrinsic isotope exchange effect of the acid itself in water was included by replacing the titratable protons with deuterons. Here, the dominant contribution is due to the difference in zero-point energy between the two isotopologues. In Model 2, the medium isotope effects are considered, in which the free energy change as a result of replacing H2O by D2O in solute–solvent hydrogen-bonding complexes is determined. Although the average ΔpKa change from Model 1 was found to be in reasonable agreement with the experimental average result, the pKaH2O dependence of the solvent isotope effects is absent. A linear free-energy relationship is obtained by including the medium effect in Model 2, and the main factor is due to solvent isotope effects in the anion–water complexes. The present study highlights the significant roles of both the intrinsic isotope exchange effect and the medium solvent isotope effect.  相似文献

The photocatalytic activity of layered perovskite-like oxides in water splitting reaction is dependent on the hydration level and species located in the interlayer slab: simple or complex cations as well as hydrogen-bonded or non-hydrogen-bonded H2O. To study proton localization and dynamics in the HCa2Nb3O10·yH2O photocatalyst with different hydration levels (hydrated—α-form, dehydrated—γ-form, and intermediate—β-form), complementary Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) techniques were applied. 1H Magic Angle Spinning NMR evidences the presence of different proton containing species in the interlayer slab depending on the hydration level. For α-form, HCa2Nb3O10·1.6H2O, 1H MAS NMR spectra reveal H3O+. Its molecular motion parameters were determined from 1H spin-lattice relaxation time in the rotating frame (T) using the Kohlrausch-Williams-Watts (KWW) correlation function with stretching exponent β = 0.28: Ea=0.2102 eV, τ0=9.01 × 1012 s. For the β-form, HCa2Nb3O10·0.8H2O, the only 1H NMR line is the result of an exchange between lattice and non-hydrogen-bonded water protons. T(1/T) indicates the presence of two characteristic points (224 and 176 K), at which proton dynamics change. The γ-form, HCa2Nb3O10·0.1H2O, contains bulk water and interlayer H+ in regular sites. 1H NMR spectra suggest two inequivalent cation positions. The parameters of the proton motion, found within the KWW model, are as follows: Ea=0.2178 eV, τ0=8.29 × 1010 s.  相似文献

A corrosion inhibitor namely N′-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene) nicotinohydrazide was synthesized and the inhibition efficiency of the investigated inhibitor toward the mild steel corrosion in 1 M HCl was studied. The anticorrosion effect has been investigated by weight loss (WL) techniques and electrochemical analysis includes potentiodynamic polarization (PDP) studies and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The current investigation has demonstrated that the tested inhibitor is suitable in corrosive environment and the inhibitive efficacy up to 97% in 1 M HCl. PDP measurements showed that the nicotinohydrazide is a mixed type inhibitor. EIS measurements showed that an increase in the inhibitory concentration leads to an increase in the charge transfer resistance (Rct) and a decrease in the double-layer capacitance (Cdl). Experimental results for the inhibitory performance of WL methods and electrochemical techniques (PDP and EIS) are in good agreement. The tested inhibitor molecules adsorbed on the surface of mild steel in a hydrochloric acid solution followed Langmuir’s isothermal adsorption. Quantum chemical parameters based on density function theory (DFT) techniques were conducted on oxygen/nitrogen-bearing heterocyclic molecule employed as a corrosion inhibitor for mild steel in HCl to evaluate the correlation between the inhibitor structure and inhibitory performance. The parameters including the energy gap (ΔE), dipole moment (μ), electronegativity (χ), electron affinity (A), global hardness (η), softness (σ), ionization potential (I), the fraction of electrons transferred (ΔN), the highest occupied molecular orbital energy (EHOMO), and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energy (ELUMO) were also calculated and were in good agreement with the experimental results.  相似文献

This study is to investigate the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) stagnation point flow and heat transfer characteristic nanofluid of carbon nanotube (CNTs) over the shrinking surface with heat sink effects. Similarity equations deduced from momentum and energy equation of partial differential equations are solved numerically. This study looks at the different parameters of the flow and heat transfer using first phase model which is Tiwari-Das. The parameter discussed were volume fraction nanoparticle, magnetic parameter, heat sink/source parameters, and a different type of nanofluid and based fluids. Present results revealed that the rate of nanofluid (SWCNT/kerosene) in terms of flow and heat transfer is better than (MWCNT/kerosene) and (CNT/water) and regular fluid (water). Graphically, the variation results of dual solution exist for shrinking parameter in range λc<λ1 for different values of volume fraction nanoparticle, magnetic, heat sink parameters, and a different type of nanofluid. However, a unique solution exists at 1<λ<1, and no solutions exist at λ<λc which is a critical value. In addition, the local Nusselt number decreases with increasing volume fraction nanoparticle when there exists a heat sink effect. The values of the skin friction coefficient and local Nusselt number increase for both solutions with the increase in magnetic parameter. In this study, the investigation on the flow and heat transfer of MHD stagnation point nanofluid through a shrinking surface with heat sink effect shows how important the application to industrial applications.  相似文献

We report the first isolation of the alkaloid aaptamine from the Philippine marine sponge Stylissa sp. Aaptamine possessed weak antiproliferative activity against HCT116 colon cancer cells and inhibited the proteasome in vitro at 50 µM. These activities may be functionally linked. Due to its known, more potent activity on certain G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs), including α-adrenergic and δ-opioid receptors, the compound was profiled more broadly at sub-growth inhibitory concentrations against a panel of 168 GPCRs to potentially reveal additional targets and therapeutic opportunities. GPCRs represent the largest class of drug targets. The primary screen at 20 µM using the β-arrestin functional assay identified the antagonist, agonist, and potentiators of agonist activity of aaptamine. Dose-response analysis validated the α-adrenoreceptor antagonist activity of aaptamine (ADRA2C, IC50 11.9 µM) and revealed the even more potent antagonism of the β-adrenoreceptor (ADRB2, IC50 0.20 µM) and dopamine receptor D4 (DRD4, IC50 6.9 µM). Additionally, aaptamine showed agonist activity on selected chemokine receptors, by itself (CXCR7, EC50 6.2 µM; CCR1, EC50 11.8 µM) or as a potentiator of agonist activity (CXCR3, EC50 31.8 µM; CCR3, EC50 16.2 µM). These GPCRs play a critical role in the treatment of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, and neurological disorders. The results of this study may thus provide novel preventive and therapeutic strategies for noncommunicable diseases (NCDs).  相似文献

The mutual effect of hydrogen bonds in BHF(HHal) n complexes (Hal = F, Cl, Br, I; B = –, CH3CN, NH3; n = 1-3) was examined using the self-consistent field ab initio approach (6-31++G(d,p) and ECP-HW). When two and three equivalent H bonds are formed from the lone electron pairs of the fluorine atom of the HF molecule, the mutual weakening effect is 17% and 28%, respectively. The coefficients of the mutual effects of hydrogen bonds in HF(HHal)2 and H2O(HHal)2 bridges are close in magnitude.  相似文献

The present work deals with the micellar state study of sodium cholate and sodium deoxycholate in the aqueous solution of a bioactive peptide, namely glycyl dipeptide, having different concentrations through conductivity and fluorescence methods at different temperatures. The data obtained from conductivity is plotted against the concentration of Bile salts, and CMC (critical micelle concentration) values are calculated. The results realized have been elucidated with reference to Glycyl dipeptide–bile salts hydrophobic/hydrophilic interactions existing in solution. In addition, the CMC values converted to mole fraction (Xcmc) values have been used to evaluate the standard thermodynamic factors of micellization viz., enthalpy H, free energy ΔGm0, and entropy (ΔSm0) which extract information regarding thermodynamic feasibility of micellar state, energy alteration, and the assorted interactions established in the existing (bile salts–water–glycyl dipeptide) system. Furthermore, the pyrene fluorescence spectrum has also been utilized to study the change in micro polarity induced by the interactions of bile salts with glycyl dipeptide and the aggregation action of bile salts. The decrease in modification in the ratio of intensities of first and third peaks i.e., (I1/I3) for the pyrene molecules in aqueous bile salts solution by the addition of dipeptide, demonstrates that the micelle polarity is affected by glycyl dipeptide. This ratio has also been utilized to determine CMC values for the studied system, and the results have been found to be in good correlation with observations made in conductivity studies.  相似文献
