A novel kind of copolymer with ABA-type block structure was synthesized by anionic ring-openingpolymerization of β-butyrolactone (β-BL) in the presence of a PEG-based dicarboxylates as macroinitiators which wereprepared by the esterification of aliphatic cyclic anhydride and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) oligomers (M_n=2000, 4000 and6000) and conversion of potassium dicarboxylates. The isothermal crystallization of poly (ethylene terephthalate ) (PET),which is free of catalyst, stabilizer, oligomer and diethylene glycol (DEG), was studied by DSC. The crystallization behaviour of pure PET is different from commercial PET and a reasonable explanation is presented. The influences of catalyst, stabilizer, oligomer and DEG on the crystallization of pure PET were examined. It is shown that catalyst (Manganese acetate)and stabilizer (Triphenyl phosphite) result in an increase of the crystallization rate of PET; on the contrary, DEG and oligomer (cyclotetramer) result in a reduction of the crystallization rate. When catalyst and stabilizer coexist together, both of them promote the crystallization at lower temperature ,only a smaller effect was found at higher temperature, it is evident that metal phosphite is formed between the catalyst and stabilizer at higher temperature.  相似文献

以辛酸亚锡为催化剂,季戊四醇(PTOL)为引发剂,引发对二氧环己酮(PDO)单体开环聚合,合成了以PTOL为核的四臂聚对二氧环己酮(4s-PPDO).通过直接将4s-PPDO预聚物和聚乙二醇(PEG)于熔点以上、惰性气体保护下与偶联剂甲苯二异氰酸酯(TDI)交联共聚得到聚对二氧环己酮/聚乙二醇(PPDO-b-PEG)两亲性共网络聚合物(PPDO-PEG APCNs).研究了两亲性聚合物共网络结构、配比组成、溶剂种类等对聚合物溶胀率的影响,结果表明APCNs在不同类型的溶剂中表现出不同的溶胀行为,可以通过调节偶联剂的用量及PPDO/PEG的投料比来满足不同的实际需求.通过示差扫描量热分析(DSC)详细研究APCNs的结晶性能,证实交联反应降低APCNs的结晶度和结晶尺寸.  相似文献

The crystallization kinetics of the copolyester, poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) modified by sodium salt of 5-sulpho-isophthalic acid(SIPM), was investigated by means of differential scanning calorimeter. The experimental results and polari-microscopy observation all showed that the introduction of SIPM did not affect the nucleation of crystallization. Within the temperature range between their glass transition temperature T_θand melting point T_m, the crystallization rate of the copolyester sample decreased with increasing content of SIPM. The relative crystallization rate constant Z of SIPM/DMT (dimethyl terephthalate) 4mol % sample was about 1% pure PET's Z value. For isothermal crystallized copolyester samples, DSC heating curves displayed multi-melting behavior. This was interpreted by molecular weight fractionation during crystallization and premelting-recrystallization mechanism. This interpretation showed why the second melting point T_(m2) will change according to Hoffman-Weeks(H-W) equation and the first melting point T_(m1) will increase with increasing SIPM. The principal cause of these phenomena is the high temperature crystallization rate decreases rapidly with increasing SIPM.  相似文献

Three specimens from a solution-cast poly (ethylene terephthalate) (PET) film, one being liquid-N_2 quenched from 92℃(Q), one being slowly cooled from 92℃(SC) and one being quenched and sub-T_g annealed at 67℃(AN), have been studied by specimen difference spectra Q-SC and AN-Q and temperature difference spectra T-70 and T_2-T_1 for every 2℃steps on heating to 90℃at 2℃/min. SC and AN showed more gauche conformers than Q. That means that the PET chain has more trans conformers at higher temperatures and some of these are frozen during quenching through T_g. A band at 1340 cm~(-1) has been found to be complex containing overlapping bands reflecting trans in crystalline regions and trans in amorphous regions. The temperature difference spectra on heating through T_g showed that the spectral changes in Q are gradual while a rather abrupt change occurs in AN at 80—82℃for the bands at 1340, 1042 and 1020 cm~(-1). No new conformational structure or new vibrational mode is involved. A kind of locking mechanism is suggested which hinders the molecular vibrational changes in AN below T_g until a sudden release occurs at T_g. These locking sites can be nothing else than sites of tighter local packing of chain segments. Consequently it is believed that inter-chain van der Waals attraction energy plays a dominating role in the volume relaxation and sub-T_g annealing of quenched amorphous polymers.  相似文献

用付里叶变换红外光谱法、示差扫描量热、广角X 射线衍射和密度法等手段,研究了聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)的非等温结晶行为.在110℃以上,PET的结晶度随温度的升高而增加;在160~230℃温度区间,PET的结晶度随温度的升高变化不大.但在其后的降温过程中,其结晶度显著增加.从高温缓冷试样的结晶度明显地比淬火试样的高.实验结果有力地支持了高聚物在结晶前链的折叠就已经形成的观点.  相似文献

首先合成双端羟基的聚对二氧环己酮预聚物(PPDO)和双端羧基的聚乙二醇预聚物(PEG),然后以丁二酸酐/二环己基碳二亚胺(DCC)将PPDO与PEG偶联共聚,得到PPDO/PEG多嵌段共聚物.通过1H-NMR和GPC表征了聚合物的结构和分子量.采用差示扫描量热法(DSC)和热重分析(TGA)研究了共聚物的结晶性能和热稳定性.用透析法制备了共聚物纳米粒子,并用动态光散射(DLS)表征了共聚物纳米粒子的粒径及分散度,结果表明,随着共聚物亲水链段PEG含量的增加,其纳米粒子更易形成,粒子粒径随共聚物分子量增大而增大.  相似文献

采用冷冻萃取聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)溶液(0.1~10g/dL7种不同浓度,3种不同性能溶剂)的方法制备了解缠结PET试样.与链相互穿透且缠结的熔体骤冷试样相比,解缠结PET试样的结晶能力明显增强,且随着制样溶液浓度的降低,链间解缠结程度增加,PET的结晶能力逐渐增强,有序结构含量明显增加,但是如果制样溶液浓度太低,溶液中链间距离太大,则又不利于萃取过程中链间的有序堆砌而结晶.采用接触浓度c*附近的溶液,既可确保链间的有效解缠结又有利于链间的有序堆砌而结晶.PET的结晶能力甚至还受制样所用溶剂性能的影响,这是因为溶剂性能影响了溶液中链间的相互作用以及链的解缠结程度.  相似文献

Isothermal recovery in the macroscopic length of homogeneously deformed specimens of amorphous poly(ethyleneterephthalate) (PET) film sample uniaxially drawn at 69℃ to the draw ratios λ_0=1.26~2.20 were studied at temperaturesaround the glass transition temperature (T_g = 73℃). Experimental results indicate that the length recovery took place in twodistinct steps: a fast first step (fast relaxation) followed by a slow second step (slow relaxation). The relaxation processeswere accompanied by the reversion of trans-conformers (1340 cm~(-1)) to gauche, and the dichroic function of the 1340 cm~(-1)band characterizing the segmental orientation along the chain direction decreased to a very low value at the end of the fastrelaxation. This fact led us to assign the fast relaxation as the segmental orientation while the slow relaxation as relaxation ofthe global chain orientation. It was found that the slow relaxation follows a single exponential function, with relaxation timesstrongly dependent on the temperature resembling the glass transition process. The fast relaxation does not follow a singleexponential decay, presumably a distribution of relaxation times is involved.  相似文献

Poly(methylene terephthalate) (PMT) and poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) were synthesized by triethylamine-mediated reactions of terephthalic acid and dihalomethanes or 1,2-dihaloethanes, respectively. Reactions with chloro compounds required longer reaction times and higher temper-atures than those with bromo. Copolymers were synthesized by using proportionate amounts of dihalomethane/1,2-dihaloethane mixtures. Copolymer compositions were determined by inte-grations of relative areas of methylene and ethylene 1H NMR peaks. Mn values were determined from 1H NMR end group signals. Mole fraction feed is linearly related to CH2/CH2CH2 incorporation into copolymer products. Mechanisms are proposed to explain results.  相似文献

采用等速升温DSC方法对单轴取向聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯 (PET)的结晶过程进行了研究 ,发现单轴取向PET的冷结晶峰表现为多重结晶峰 .等温DSC方法的研究结果进一步证实结晶重峰的存在 .为此 ,本文提出了一种依据非等温DSC曲线解析高聚物结晶动力学参数的新方法 .对单轴取向PET的研究结果表明 ,与其他方法相比较 ,由新方法计算出的理论曲线与实验数据能更好地吻合 .单轴取向PET的总的结晶过程由三个子结晶过程组成 .根据不同拉伸比 ,各个子过程的Avrami指数和质量分数的变化 ,对结晶机理进行了解释 .与各向同性PET样品相比 ,单轴取向PET在低温部分的结晶速率明显增快  相似文献

A new biodegradable polymer system, poly(p-dioxanone) (PPDO)/poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) blend was prepared by a solvent casting method using chloroform as a co-solvent. The PPDO/PEG blends have different weight ratios of 95/5, 90/10, 80/20 and 70/30. Crystallization of homopolymers and blends were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD). When 5% of PEG was blended, the crystallization exothermal peaks (Tc) of PPDO increased sharply and the crystallization exothermal peaks (Tc) of PEG decreased slightly compared with the homopolymers. The crystallization rates of both components increased, and caused greater relative crystallization degree (Xt%). But when the content of PEG was more than 5%, the crystalline behaviors of blends had no more significant changes accordingly. The melting points of each sample varied little over the entire composition range in this study. The nonisothermal crystallization of PPDO homopolymer and blend (PPDO/PEG = 70/30) were also studied by DSC. The crystallization began at a higher temperature when the cooling rates were slower. The nonisothermal crystallization kinetics of blends was analyzed by Ozawa equation. The results showed that the Ozawa equation failed to describe the whole crystallization of the blend, but Mo equation could depict the nonisothermal crystallization perfectly.  相似文献

The glass-transition temperature and non-isothermal crystallization of poly(trimethylene terephthalate)/poly(ethylene 2,6-naphthalate) (PTT/PEN) blends were investigated by using differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The results suggested that the binary blends showed different crystallization and melting behaviors due to their different component of PTT and PEN. All of the samples exhibited a single glass-transition temperature, indicating that the component PTT and PEN were miscible in amorphous phase. The value of Tg predicted well by Gordon-Taylor equation decreased gradually with increasing of PTT content. The commonly used Avrami equation modified by Jeziorny, Ozawa theory and the method developed by Mo were used, respectively, to fit the primary stage of non-isothermal crystallization. The kinetic parameters suggested that the PTT content improved the crystallization of PEN in the binary blend. The crystallization growth dimension, crystallization rate and the degree of crystallinity of the blends were increased with the increasing content of PTT. The effective activation energy calculated by the advanced iso-conversional method developed by Vyazovkin also concluded that the value of Ea depended not only on the system but also on temperature, that is, the binary blend with more PTT component had higher crystallization ability and the crystallization ability is increased with increasing temperature. The kinetic parameters U* and Kg were also determined, respectively, by the Hoffman-Lauritzen theory.  相似文献

用动态力学损耗温度谱作为测试手段,研究了非晶态PET膜片在78—112℃温度范围内的单轴拉伸。实验结果说明,在较低温度下所得结晶的拉伸试样,完全由于应变诱发结晶,发生在应力-应变曲线的屈服后应力开始上升的阶段。在较高温度下(90℃或更高)拉伸可得非晶态而且光学各向同性的试样,是由于分子链的小尺度取向在拉伸过程中已完全热松弛所致,而分子链的大尺度取向要通过高弹态流动而松弛,其速率较慢,用拉伸后试样两端固定时的应力松弛进行了观察。在较低温度下应力松弛后仍为非晶态,在较高温度下应力松弛到起始应力的1O%下才开始结晶。FTIR研究表明在这种状态下的结晶有一结晶诱导期,其时间尺度与应力松弛阶段相当。  相似文献

The crystallization process of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO)/poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)and PEO/poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc) blends has been characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR) spectra in conjunction with Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) measurements. Thecrystallinity of PEO varies consistently with PEO content in PEO/PVAc blends and the PEO/PMMAblends containing 50 wt% or less PMMA. For the PEO/PMMA blends containing 60 wt% ormore PMMA, the crystallinity of PEO decreases more than PEO content but develops with crystal-lization time. These results can be explained in terms of difference between the crystallization tem-perature (T_c) and glass transition temperature (T_g) of the blends as a function of content of amorphouscomponent.  相似文献

Linear and branched poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) copolymers with polyethylene glycol) (PEG) methyl ether (700 or 2000 g/mol) end groups were synthesized using conventional melt polymerization. DSC analysis demonstrated that low levels of PEG end groups accelerated PET crystallization. The incorporated PEG end groups also decreased the crystallization temperature of PET dramatically, and copolymers with a high content of PEG (>17.6 wt%) were able to crystallize at room temperature. Rheological analysis demonstrated that the presence of PEG end groups effectively decreased the melt viscosities and facilitated melt processing. XPS and ATR-FTIR revealed that the PEG end groups tended to aggregate on the surface, and the surface of compression molded films containing 34.0 wt% PEG were PEG rich (85 wt% PEG). PEG end-capped PET (34.0 wt% PEG) and PET films were immersed into a fibrinogen solution (0.7 mg/mL BSA) for 72 h to investigate the propensity for protein adhesion. XPS demonstrated that the concentration of nitrogen (1.05%) on the surface of PEG endcapped PET film was statistically lower than PET (7.67%). SEM analysis was consistent with XPS results, and revealed the presence of adsorbed protein on the surface of PET films.  相似文献

In order to improve the tensile properties of poly(ethylene terephthalate)(PET), we used the direct esterification method to synthesize PET in a home-made facility, and a certain amount of ethylene glycol (EG), one of the two starting monomers, was substituted by glycerin (GE). Four PETs with different GE contents were prepared to investigate the effect of GE on the crystallization and tensile properties of the prepared copolyester. The results showed largely improved tensile properties and increased crystallization temperature due to the possible crosslinking structure in PET by using a small amount of GE.  相似文献

In this work, new ways of plasticizing polylactide (PLA) with low molecular poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) were developed to improve the ductility of PLA while maintaining the plasticizer content at maximum 20 wt.% PLA. To this end, a reactive blending of anhydride-grafted PLA (MAG-PLA) copolymer with PEG, with chains terminated with hydroxyl groups, was performed. During the melt-processing, a fraction of PEG was grafted into the anhydride-functionalized PLA chains. The role of the grafted fraction was to improve the compatibility between PLA and PEG. Reactive extrusion and melt-blending of neat and modified PLA with PEG did not induce any dramatic drop of PLA molecular weight. The in situ reactive grafting of PEG into the modified PLA in PLA/PEG blends showed a clear effect on the thermal properties of PLA. It was demonstrated by DSC that the mobility gained by PLA chains in the plasticized blends yielded crystallization. The grafting of a fraction of PEG into PLA did not affect this process. However, DSC results obtained after the second heating showed an interesting effect on the Tg when 20 wt.% PEG were melt blended with neat PLA or 10 wt.% MAG-PLA. In the latter case, the Tg displayed by the reactive blend was shifted to even lower temperatures at around 14 °C, while the Tg of neat PLA and PLA blended with 20 wt.% PEG was around 60 and 23 °C, respectively. Regarding viscoelastic and viscoplastic properties, the presence of MAG-PLA does not significantly influence the behavior of plasticized PLA. Indeed, with or without MAG-PLA, elastic modulus and yield stress decrease, while ultimate strain increases with the addition of PEG into PLA.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

An attempt was made to enhance the water-sorption capacity of polymers of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) by preparing its semi-interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) with a hydrophilic polymer such as poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG). The effects of various factors, such as history of the polymer sample, chemical architecture of the IPN, presence of salt ions in the swelling medium, and temperature of the swelling medium, were investigated on the water sorption kinetics of the IPNs. The IPN was characterized by IR spectral analysis and various structural parameters, such as molecular weight between crosslinks (Mc), crosslink density (q) and number of elastically effective chains (Ve), were evaluated. The IPNs were also assessed for their antithrombogenic potential.  相似文献
