The nucleophilicity of the [Pt(2)S(2)] core in [[Ph(2)P(CH(2))(n)PPh(2)]Pt(mu-S)(2)Pt[Ph(2)P(CH(2))(n)PPh(2)]] (n = 3, dppp (1); n = 2, dppe (2)) metalloligands toward the CH(2)Cl(2) solvent has been thoroughly studied. Complex 1, which has been obtained and characterized by X-ray diffraction, is structurally related to 2 and consists of dinuclear molecules with a hinged [Pt(2)S(2)] central ring. The reaction of 1 and 2 with CH(2)Cl(2) has been followed by means of (31)P, (1)H, and (13)C NMR, electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, and X-ray data. Although both reactions proceed at different rates, the first steps are common and lead to a mixture of the corresponding mononuclear complexes [Pt[Ph(2)P(CH(2))(n)PPh(2)](S(2)CH(2))], n = 3 (7), 2 (8), and [Pt[Ph(2)P(CH(2))(n)PPh(2)]Cl(2)], n = 3 (9), 2 (10). Theoretical calculations give support to the proposed pathway for the disintegration process of the [Pt(2)S(2)] ring. Only in the case of 1, the reaction proceeds further yielding [Pt(2)(dppp)(2)[mu-(SCH(2)SCH(2)S)-S,S']]Cl(2) (11). To confirm the sequence of the reactions leading from 1 and 2 to the final products 9 and 11 or 8 and 10, respectively, complexes 7, 8, and 11 have been synthesized and structurally characterized. Additional experiments have allowed elucidation of the reaction mechanism involved from 7 to 11, and thus, the origin of the CH(2) groups that participate in the expansion of the (SCH(2)S)(2-) ligand in 7 to afford the bridging (SCH(2)SCH(2)S)(2-) ligand in 11 has been established. The X-ray structure of 11 is totally unprecedented and consists of a hinged [(dppp)Pt(mu-S)(2)Pt(dppp)] core capped by a CH(2)SCH(2) fragment.  相似文献

The reaction of the C=N bond in PhCH=NPh with the carbanionic species Ph2PCH2-, leading to the N-phenyl beta-aminophosphine Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NHPh, L1, is described. This molecule reacts with different organic electrophiles to afford related compounds Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NPhX (X = SiMe3, L2; COPh, L4), [Ph2MePCH2CH(Ph)NHPh]+(I-), L3, and [Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)N(Ph)CO]2, L5, containing two amido and two phosphino functions. The coordination properties of L1, L2, and L4 have been studied in palladium chemistry. The X-ray structure of [PdCl2(Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NHPh-kappaP,kappaN)] shows the bidentate coordination mode for the L1 ligand with equatorial C(Ph)-N(Ph) phenyl groups. [PdCl2(Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NHPh-kappaP,kappaN)] crystallizes at 298 K in the space group P2(1)/n with cell parameters a = 10.689(2) A, b = 21.345(3) A, c = 12.282(2) A, beta = 90.294(12) degrees, Z = 4, D(calcd) = 1.526. The reaction between 2 equiv of L1 and [PdCl(eta3-C3H5)]2 affords the [PdCl(eta3-C3H5)(Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NHPh-kappaP)] complex in which an unexpected N-H.Cl intramolecular interaction has been observed by an X-ray diffraction analysis. [PdCl(eta3-C3H5)(Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NHPh-kappaP)] crystallizes at 298 K in the monoclinic space group Cc with cell parameters a = 10.912(1) A, b = 17.194(2) A, c = 14.169(2) A, beta = 100.651(9) degrees, Z = 4, D(calcd) = 1.435. Neutral and cationic alkyl or allyl palladium chloride complexes containing L1 are also reported as well as a neutral allyl palladium chloride complex containing L4. Variable-temperature 31P[1H] NMR studies on the allyl complexes show that the eta3/eta1 allyl interconversion is enhanced by a positive charge and also by a N-H.Cl intramolecular interaction.  相似文献

The cyclometallated Pd compound [upper bond 1 start]PdCl[PPh(2)CH(2)CH(2)C[upper bond 1 end]HCH(2)CH(2)PPh(2)], obtained from PdCl(2)(Ph(2)P(CH(2))(5)PPh(2)) in refluxing DMF (N,N-dimethylformamide), was characterized by NMR and X-ray single-crystal diffraction analysis. The cyclometallation of MCl(2)(Ph(2)P(CH(2))(5)PPh(2))(M = Pd, Pt) to give and its Pt(ii) analogue was probed using electrospray ionisation mass spectrometry (ESMS). The reactivity of towards neutral ligands such as phosphines and pyridines as well as basic metal complexes such as pyridine-thiolate compounds of Au(i), Hg(ii) and Pt(ii) in solution was also investigated. The results showed that the chloride trans to the Pd-C bond is susceptible to ligand replacement. A number of entry metalloligands was examined in an attempt to establish a route to cyclometallated aggregates and clusters.  相似文献

The reactivity of [HMCo3(CO)12] and [Et4N][MCo3(CO)12] (M = Fe, Ru) toward phosphine selenides such as Ph3PSe, Ph2P(Se)CH2PPh2, Ph2(2-C5H4N)PSe, Ph2(2-C4H3S)PSe, and Ph2[(2-C5H4N)(2-C4H2S)]PSe has been studied with the aim to obtain new selenido-carbonyl bimetallic clusters. The reactions of the hydrido clusters give two main classes of products: (i) triangular clusters with a mu3-Se capping ligand of the type [MCo2(mu3-Se)(CO)(9-x)L(y)] resulting from the selenium transfer (x = y = 1, 2, with L = monodentate ligand; x = 2, 4, and y = 1, 2, with L = bidentate ligand) (M = Fe, Ru) and (ii) tetranuclear clusters of the type [HMCo3(CO)12xL(y)] obtained by simple substitution of axial, Co-bound carbonyl groups by the deselenized phosphine ligand. The crystal structures of [HRuCo3(CO)7(mu-CO)3(mu-dppy)] (1), [MCo2(mu3-Se)(CO)7(mu-dppy)] (M = Fe (16) or Ru (2)), and [RuCo2(mu3-Se)(CO)7(mu-dppm)] (12) are reported [dppy = Ph2(2-C5H4N)P, dppm = Ph2PCH2PPh2]. Clusters 2, 12, and 16 are the first examples of trinuclear bimetallic selenido clusters substituted by phosphines. Their core consists of metal triangles capped by a mu3-selenium atom with the bidentate ligand bridging two metals in equatorial positions. The core of cluster 1 consists of a RuCo3 tetrahedron, each Co-Co bond being bridged by a carbonyl group and one further bridged by a dppy ligand. The coordination of dppy in a pseudoaxial position causes the migration of the hydride ligand to the Ru(mu-H)Co edge. In contrast to the reactions of the hydrido clusters, those with the anionic clusters [MCo3(CO)12]- do not lead to Se transfer from phosphorus to the cluster but only to CO substitution by the deselenized phosphine.  相似文献

The solution structures of the novel heterobimetallic complexes [Ir(dppm)(Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2)PPPP){Pt(PPh(3))2}]OTf and [Rh(dppm)(Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2)PPPP){Pt(PPh(3))(2)}]OTf derived from the reaction of Rh and Ir--P(5) precursors with [Pt(C2H4)(PPh3)2] have been unambiguously assigned on the basis of 1H NMR and 31P{1H} NMR data. The results are in agreement with the regio-selective insertion of the {Pt(PPh3)2} moiety resulting in a new pentaphosphorus topology which agrees with the formal formation of a unique phosphonium(+)-tetraphosphabutadienide(2-) ligand.  相似文献

The reaction of [AuCl(PR(3))] with [1,2-(Ph(2)P)(2)-1,2-C(2)B(10)H(10)] in refluxing ethanol proceeds with partial degradation (removal of a boron atom adjacent to carbon) of the closo species to give [Au{(PPh(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)}(PR(3))] [PR(3) = PPh(3) (1), PPh(2)Me (2), PPh(2)(4-Me-C(6)H(4)) (3), P(4-Me-C(6)H(4))(3) (4), P(4-OMe-C(6)H(4))(3) (5)]. Similarly, the treatment of [Au(2)Cl(2)(&mgr;-P-P)] with [1,2-(Ph(2)P)(2)-1,2-C(2)B(10)H(10)] under the same conditions leads to the complexes [Au(2){(PPh(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)}(2)(&mgr;-P-P)] [P-P = dppe = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane (6), dppp = 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane (7)], where the dppe or dppp ligands bridge two gold nido-diphosphine units. The reaction of 1 with NaH leads to removal of one proton, and further reaction with [Au(PPh(3))(tht)]ClO(4) gives the novel metallocarborane compound [Au(2){(PPh(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(9)}(PPh(3))(2)] (8). The structure of complexes 1 and 7 have been established by X-ray diffraction. [Au{(PPh(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)}(PPh(3))] (1) (dichloromethane solvate) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, with a = 17.326(3) ?, b = 20.688(3) ?, c = 13.442(2) ?, beta = 104.710(12) degrees, Z = 4, and T = -100 degrees C. [Au(2){(PPh(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)}(2)(&mgr;-dppp)] (7) (acetone solvate) is triclinic, space group P&onemacr;, a = 13.432(3) ?, b = 18.888(3) ?, c = 20.021(3) ?, alpha = 78.56(2) degrees, beta = 72.02(2) degrees, gamma = 73.31(2) degrees, Z = 2, and T = -100 degrees C. In both complexes the gold atom exhibits trigonal planar geometry with the 7,8-bis(diphenylphosphino)-7,8-dicarba-nido-undecaborate(1-) acting as a chelating ligand.  相似文献

The normally robust monoalkylated complexes [Pt(2)(mu-S)(mu-SR)(PPh(3))(4)](+) can be activated towards further alkylation. Dialkylated complexes [Pt(2)(mu-SR)(2)(P-P)(2)](2+) (P-P=2 x PPh(3), Ph(2)P(CH(2))(3)PPh(2)) can be stabilized and isolated by the use of electron-rich and aromatic halogenated substituents R [e.g. 3-(2-bromoethyl)indole and 2-bromo-4'-phenylacetophenone] and 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane [Ph(2)P(CH(2))(3)PPh(2) or dppp] which enhances the nucleophilicity of the {Pt(2)(mu-S)(2)} core. This strategy led to the activation of [Pt(2)(mu-S)(mu-SR)(PPh(3))(4)](+) towards R-X as well as isolation and crystallographic elucidation of [Pt(2)(mu-SC(10)H(10)N)(2)(PPh(3))(4)](PF(6))(2) (2a), [Pt(2)(mu-SCH(2)C(O)C(6)H(4)C(6)H(5))(2)(PPh(3))(4)](PF(6))(2) (2b), and a range of functionalized-thiolato bridged complexes such as [Pt(2)(mu-SR)(2)(dppp)(2)](PF(6))(2) [R= -CH(2)C(6)H(5) (8a), -CH(2)CHCH(2) (8b) and -CH(2)CN (8c)]. The stepwise alkylation process is conveniently monitored by Electrospray Ionisation Mass Spectrometry, allowing for a direct qualitative comparison of the nucleophilicity of [Pt(2)(mu-S)(2)(P-P)(2)], thereby guiding the bench-top synthesis of some products observed spectroscopically.  相似文献

The reaction of (R(2)PCH(2)SiMe(2))(2)NM (PNP(R)M; R = Cy; M = Li, Na, MgHal, Ag) with L(2)ReOX(3) [L(2) = (Ph(3)P)(2) or (Ph(3)PO)(Me(2)S); X = Cl, Br] gives (PNP(Cy))ReOX(2) as two isomers, mer, trans and mer, cis. These compounds undergo a double Si migration from N to O at 90 degrees C to form (POP(Cy))ReNX(2) as a mixture of mer, trans and fac,cis isomers. Additional thermolysis effects migration of CH(3) from Si to Re, along with compensating migration of halide from Re to Si. DFT calculations on various structural isomers support the greater thermodynamic stability of the POP/ReN isomer vs PNP/ReO and highlight the influence of the template effect on the reactivities of these species.  相似文献

The ligand (R,S)-Ph(2)PCH(2)CH(2)P(Ph)CH(2)CH(2)P(Ph)CH(2)CH(2)PPh(2), (R,S)-tetraphos, combines with silver(I) and gold(I) ions in the presence of hexafluorophosphate to diastereoselectively self-assemble the head-to-head (H,H) diastereomers of the double-stranded, dinuclear metal complexes [M(2)[(R,S)-tetraphos](2)](PF(6))(2) in which the two chiral metal centers in the complexes have M (R end of phosphine) and P (S end of phosphine) configurations. The crystal and molecular structures of the compounds have been determined: (H,H)-(M,P) -[Ag(2)[(R,S)-tetraphos](2)](PF(6))(2), monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 10.3784(2), b = 47.320(1), c = 17.3385(4) A, beta = 103.8963(5) degrees, Z = 4; (H,H)-(M,P)-[Au(2)[(R,S)-tetraphos](2)](PF(6))(2), monoclinic, P.2(1) (No. 4, c unique axis), a = 24.385(4), b = 46.175(3), c = 14.820(4) A, Z = 8. The complexes crystallize as racemic compounds in which the unit cell in each case contains equal numbers of enantiomorphic molecules of the cation and associated anions. The cations in both structures have similar side-by-side structures of idealized C(2) symmetry, the bulk helicity of each molecule in the solid state being due solely to the twist of the central ten-membered ring containing the two metal ions of opposite configuration, which has the chiral twist-boat-chair-boat conformation. When 1 equiv each of (R,S)-tetraphos, (R,R)-(+/-)-tetraphos, (S,S)-(+)-tetraphos, 2 equiv of Ph(2)PCH(2)CH(2)PPh(2) (dppe), and 7 equiv of [AuCl(SMe(2))] in dichloromethane are allowed to react for several minutes in the presence of an excess of ammonium hexafluorophosphate in water (two phases), the products are the double-stranded digold(I) complexes in which each ligand strand has recognized itself by stereoselective self-assembly, together with [Au(dppe)(2)]PF(6).  相似文献

Five-coordinated trithiotungsten complexes (PPh(4))[(dmsp)W(S)(3)] (1a) and (PPh(4))[(dpsp)W(S)(3)] (1b) (R(2)PCH(2)CH(2)S(-); R = Me (dmsp-)), Ph (dpsp-))) were synthesized by addition of Hdmsp and Hdpsp to a THF solution of (PPh(4))[(EtS)W(S)(3)]. Treatment of 1a with CuBr in the presence of PPh(3) in CH(3)CN afforded a WCu(2) cluster (dmsp)WS(3)Cu(2)(PPh(3))(2)Br (2). The reaction of 1a with 1 equiv of FeCl(2) went smoothly to generate a 1:1 adduct (PPh(4))[(dmsp)WS(3)(FeCl(2))] (3), while 3 did not react further with excess FeCl(2). On the other hand, 3 was found to react with [Fe(CH(3)CN)(6)](ClO(4))(2), giving rise to an unusual tetranuclear cluster, [(dmsp)WS(3)](2)Fe(2)Cl (4), while the reaction of 1a with 2 equiv of [Fe(CH(3)CN)(6)](ClO(4))(2) led to a cyclic octanuclear cluster [(dmsp)WS(3)Fe](4) (5). Although the oxidation states of W(VI), Cu(I), and Fe(II) are retained in 2 and 3, reduction of the metal ions occurs in the formation of 4 and 5. All the complexes reported in this paper were structurally characterized by X-ray analysis. It is anticipated that the new type of trithiotungsten complexes, 1a and 1b, will serve as potential synthons for various heterometallic sulfide clusters.  相似文献

The reaction of dimethyldiaryltin reagents Me(2)SnR(2) (R = Ph (1), p-MePh (2), m,m-Me(2)Ph (3), p-(t)BuPh (4), p-MeOPh (5), p-CF(3)Ph (6)) with BCl(3) provided a high-yielding, simple preparative route to the corresponding diarylchloroboranes R(2)BCl (R = Ph (10), p-MePh (11), m,m-Me(2)Ph (12), p-(t)BuPh (13), p-MeOPh (14), p-CF(3)Ph (15)). In some cases, the desired diarylchloroborane was not formed from an appropriate tin reagent Me(2)SnR(2) (R = o-MeOPh (7), o,o-(MeO)(2)Ph (8), o-CF(3)Ph (9)). The reaction of lithiated methyldiaryl- or methyldialkylphosphines with diarylchloroboranes or dialkylchloroboranes is discussed. Specifically, several new monoanionic bis(phosphino)borates are detailed: [Ph(2)B(CH(2)PPh(2))(2)] (25); [(p-MePh)(2)B(CH(2)PPh(2))(2)] (26); [(p-(t)BuPh)(2)B(CH(2)PPh(2))(2)] (27); [(p-MeOPh)(2)B(CH(2)PPh(2))(2)] (28); [(p-CF(3)Ph)(2)B(CH(2)PPh(2))(2)] (29); [Cy(2)B(CH(2)PPh(2))(2)] (30); [Ph(2)B(CH(2)P[p-(t)BuPh](2))(2)] (31); [(p-MeOPh)(2)B(CH(2)P[p-(t)BuPh](2))(2)] (32); [Ph(2)B(CH(2)P[p-CF(3)Ph](2))(2)] (33); [Ph(2)B(CH(2)P(BH(3))(Me)(2))(2)] (34); [Ph(2)B(CH(2)P(S)(Me)(2))(2)] (35); [Ph(2)B(CH(2)P(i)Pr(2))(2)] (36); [Ph(2)B(CH(2)P(t)Bu(2))(2)] (37); [(m,m-Me(2)Ph)(2)B(CH(2)P(t)Bu(2))(2)] (38). The chelation of diarylphosphine derivatives 25-33 and 36 to platinum was examined by generation of a series of platinum dimethyl complexes. The electronic effects of substituted bis(phosphino)borates on the carbonyl stretching frequency of neutral platinum alkyl carbonyl complexes were studied by infrared spectroscopy. Substituents remote from the metal center (i.e. on boron) have minimal effect on the electronic nature of the metal center, whereas substitution close to the metal center (on phosphorus) has a greater effect on the electronic nature of the metal center.  相似文献

The generation of heterobimetallic complexes with two or three bridging sulfido ligands from mononuclear tris(sulfido) complex of tungsten [Et(4)N][(Me(2)Tp)WS(3)] (1; Me(2)Tp = hydridotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)borate) and organometallic precursors is reported. Treatment of 1 with stoichiometric amounts of metal complexes such as [M(PPh(3))(4)] (M = Pt, Pd), [(PtMe(3))(4)(micro(3)-I)(4)], [M(cod)(PPh(3))(2)][PF(6)] (M = Ir, Rh; cod = 1,5-cyclooctadiene), [Rh(cod)(dppe)][PF(6)] (dppe = Ph(2)PCH(2)CH(2)PPh(2)), [CpIr(MeCN)(3)][PF(6)](2) (Cp = eta(5)-C(5)Me(5)), [CpRu(MeCN)(3)][PF(6)], and [M(CO)(3)(MeCN)(3)] (M = Mo, W) in MeCN or MeCN-THF at room temperature afforded either the doubly bridged complexes [Et(4)N][(Me(2)Tp)W(=S)(micro-S)(2)M(PPh(3))] (M = Pt (3), Pd (4)), [(Me(2)Tp)W(=S)(micro-S)(2)M(cod)] (M = Ir, Rh (7)), [(Me(2)Tp)W(=S)(micro-S)(2)Rh(dppe)], [(Me(2)Tp)W(=S)(micro-S)(2)RuCp] (10), and [Et(4)N][(Me(2)Tp)W(=S)(micro-S)(2)W(CO)(3)] (12) or the triply bridged complexes including [(Me(2)Tp)W(micro-S)(3)PtMe(3)] (5), [(Me(2)Tp)W(micro-S)(3)IrCp][PF(6)] (9), and [Et(4)N][(Me(2)Tp)W(micro-S)(3)Mo(CO)(3)] (11), depending on the nature of the incorporated metal fragment. The X-ray analyses have been undertaken to clarify the detailed structures of 3-5, 7, and 9-12.  相似文献

The unsymmetrical diphosphinomethane ligand Ph(2)PCH(2)P(NC(4)H(4))(2) L has been prepared from the reaction of Ph(2)PCH(2)Li with PCl(NC(4)H(4))(2). The diphenylphosphino group can be selectively oxidized with sulfur to give Ph(2)P(S)CH(2)P(NC(4)H(4))(2) 1. The reaction of L with [MCl(2)(cod)] (M = Pd, Pt) gives the chelate complexes [MCl(2)(L-kappa(2)P,P')] (2, M = Pd; 3, M = Pt) in which the M-P bond to the di(N-pyrrolyl)phosphino group is shorter than that to the corresponding diphenylphosphino group. However, the shorter Pd-P bond is cleaved on reaction of 2 with an additional 1 equiv of L to give [PdCl(2)(L-kappa(1)P)(2)] 4. Complex 4 reacts with [PdCl(2)(cod)] to regenerate 2, and with [Pd(2)(dba)(3)].CHCl(3) to give the palladium(I) dimer [Pd(2)Cl(2)(mu-L)(2)] 5, which exists in solution and the solid state as a 1:1 mixture of head-to-head (HH) and head-to-tail (HT) isomers. The palladium(II) dimer [Pd(2)Cl(2)(CH(3))(2)(mu-L)(2)] 6, formed by the reaction of [PdCl(CH(3))(cod)] with L, also exists in solution as a mixture of HH and HT isomers, although in this case the HT isomer prevails at low temperature and crystallizes preferentially. Complex 6 reacts with TlPF(6) to give the A-frame complex [Pd(2)(CH(3))(2)(mu-Cl)(mu-L)(2)]PF(6) 7. The reaction of L with [RuCp*(mu(3)-Cl)](4) leads to the dimer [Ru(2)Cp*(2)(mu-Cl)(2)(mu-L)] 8, for which the enthalpy of reaction has been measured. The reaction of L with [Rh(mu-Cl)(cod)](2) gives a mixture of compounds from which the dimer [Rh(2)(mu-Cl)(cod)(2)(mu-L)]PF(6) 9 can be isolated. The crystal structures of 2.CHCl(3), 3.CH(2)Cl(2), 4, 5.(1)/(4)CH(2)Cl(2), 6, 7.2CH(2)Cl(2), 8, and 9.CH(2)Cl(2) are reported.  相似文献

Fulerene complexe C60 Pd( Ph2PCH2PPh2)was perpared by the method of ligand substitution via the reaction of C60 with Pd(Ph2PCH2PPh2)2 under condition of a nitrogen atmosphere and refluxing, and the title compound was appraised and characterized by methods of elemental analysis,FT-IR,UV-vis,XPS and XRD. The results showed that the structure of purposeful product was that the Ph2PCH2PPh2 took up two coordination sites of the central metal, and C60 took up another two sites in σ-π feeback pattern. The porperties on photoelectricity, redox and thermostability of the title complexe were studied. The results of studying on photoelectricity showed that the photovoltaic effect of(n+n)heterojunction electrode formed by C60Pd(Ph2PCH2PPh2)/ GaAs was supper, especially in the BQ/ H2Q redox couple, and the greatest value of photovoltaic potential was up to 174 mV. The photovoltaic performance of C60Pd(Ph2PCH2PPh2)/GaAs electrode at 1 μm for thickness of C60Pd(Ph2PCH2PPh2)film was the best.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of the novel systems [Zn(2)(H(2)N(CH(2))(2)NH(2))(5)][(Zn(H(2)N(CH(2))(2)NH(2))(2))(2)V(18)O(42)(H(2)O)].9H(2)O (1), [Cd(2)(H(2)N(CH(2))(2)NH(2))(5)][(Cd(H(2)N(CH(2))(2)NH(2))(2))(2)V(18)O(42)(Br)].9H(2)O (2), and [Zn(2)(H(2)N(CH(2))(2)NH(2))(5)][(Zn(H(2)N(CH(2))(2)NH(2))(2))(2)V(18)O(42)(Cl)].9H(2)O (3) have been described. These materials represent a new class of solids that have been prepared by combining conventional coordination compounds with spherical polyoxovanadate clusters. The structures of [PdCl(TeCH(2)CH(2)NMe(2))(PPr(n)(3))] (2b) [PdCl(TeCH(2)CH(2)NMe(2))(PMePh(2))] (2e), [PtCl(TeCH(2)CH(2)NMe(2))(PMePh(2))] (2i), and the related [PtCl(SeCH(2)CH(2)NMe(2))(PEt(3))] (3) were determined crystallographically, revealing a typical pattern of trans-positioned neutral N and P donor atoms in an approximately square planar setting. The molecules 2b, 2e, and 2i were calculated by TD-DFT methodology to understand the origin of the weak (epsilon approximately 200 M(-1) cm(-1)) long-wavelength bands at about 600 nm for Pd/Te complexes such as 2b or 2e, at ca. 460 nm for Pt/Te systems such as 2i, and at about 405 nm for Pt/Se analogues such as 3. These transitions are identified as charge transfer transitions from the selenolato or tellurolato centers to unoccupied orbitals involving mainly the phosphine coligands for the Pt(II) compounds and more delocalized MOs for the Pd(II) analogues. Calculations and electrochemical data were used to rationalize the effects of metal and chalcogen variation.  相似文献

The cooperative forces of aurophilic and hydrogen bonding have been used in the self-assembly of phosphine or diphosphine complexes of gold(I) with the thiolate ligands derived from 2-thiobarbituric acid, SC(4)H(4)N(2)O(2), by single or double deprotonation. The reaction of the corresponding gold(I) trifluoroacetate complex with SC(4)H(4)N(2)O(2) gave the complexes [Au(SC(4)H(3)N(2)O(2))(PPh(3))], 1, [(AuSC(4)H(3)N(2)O(2))(2)(micro-LL)], with LL = Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2), 2a, Ph(2)P(CH(2))(3)PPh(2), 2b, or Ph(2)PCH=CHPPh(2), 2c, or the cyclic complex [Au(2)(micro-SC(4)H(2)N(2)O(2))(micro-Ph(2)PCH(2)CH(2)PPh(2))], 3. In the case with LL = Ph(2)P(CH(2))(6)PPh(2), the reaction led to loss of the diphosphine ligand to give [Au(6)(SC(4)H(3)N(2)O(2))(6)], 4, a hexagold(I) cluster complex in which each gold(I) center has trigonal AuS(2)N coordination. Structure determinations show that 1 has no aurophilic bonding, 2b, 3, and 4 have intramolecular aurophilic bonding, and 2c has intermolecular aurophilic bonding that contributes to the supramolecular structure. All the complexes undergo supramolecular association through strong NH...O and/or OH...N hydrogen bonding, and complex 3 also takes part in CH...O hydrogen bonding. The supramolecular association leads to formation of interesting polymer, sheet, or network structures, and 4 has a highly porous and stable lattice structure.  相似文献

A series of [Ni(P(R)(2)N(Ph)(2))(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2) complexes containing the cyclic diphosphine ligands [P(R)(2)N(Ph)(2) = 1,5-diaza-3,7-diphosphacyclooctane; R = benzyl (Bn), n-butyl (n-Bu), 2-phenylethyl (PE), 2,4,4-trimethylpentyl (TP), and cyclohexyl (Cy)] have been synthesized and characterized. X-ray diffraction studies reveal that the cations of [Ni(P(Bn)(2)N(Ph)(2))(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2) and [Ni(P(n-Bu)(2)N(Ph)(2))(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2) have distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometries. The Ni(0) complex [Ni(P(Bn)(2)N(Ph)(2))(2)] was also synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction studies and shown to have a distorted tetrahedral structure. These complexes, with the exception of [Ni(P(Cy)(2)N(Ph)(2))(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2), all exhibit reversible electron transfer processes for both the Ni(II/I) and Ni(I/0) couples and are electrocatalysts for the production of H(2) in acidic acetonitrile solutions. The heterolytic cleavage of H(2) by [Ni(P(R)(2)N(Ph)(2))(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2) complexes in the presence of p-anisidine or p-bromoaniline was used to determine the hydride donor abilities of the corresponding [HNi(P(R)(2)N(Ph)(2))(2)](BF(4)) complexes. However, for the catalysts with the most bulky R groups, the turnover frequencies do not parallel the driving force for elimination of H(2), suggesting that steric interactions between the alkyl substituents on phosphorus and the nitrogen atom of the pendant amines play an important role in determining the overall catalytic rate.  相似文献

Complexes cis-[M(C(6)F(5))(2)(THF)(2)] (M = Pd, Pt) are weak Lewis acids and react with the halocarbon ligand 2-iodoaniline (R-I) yielding the corresponding cis-[M(C(6)F(5))(2)(R-I)] [M = Pd (1), Pt (2)]. In these complexes a (C-)I-M bond is present. The use of other 2-haloanilines (halogen = F, Cl, Br) does not yield the analogous complexes because of the lesser nucleophilic character of the halogen involved. The presence of the (C-)I-Pt bond in 2 has been confirmed by an X-ray structure determination, which also reveals an N-H.M hydrogen bond between two neutral molecules. Complex 2 crystallizes in the space group P&onemacr;: Z = 4; a = 11.797(4) ?; b = 13.735(4) ?; c = 14.107(4) ?; alpha = 97.24(2) degrees; beta = 90.91(2) degrees; gamma = 99.44(2) degrees; V = 2235(2) ?(3). Similarly, complexes cis-[M(C(6)X(5))(2)(THF)(2)] (M = Pd, Pt; X = F, Cl) react with the ligand 2-benzoylpyridine {R-C(O)Ph}, in which the oxygen atom of the ketonic group can behave as a nucleophilic center, yielding the complexes cis-[M(C(6)X(5))(2){R-C(O)Ph}] [M = Pd, X = F (3); M = Pt, X = F (4), Cl (5)]. Complex 3 crystallizes in the space group C2/c: Z = 16; a = 26.284(3) ?; b = 10.623(1) ?; c = 31.423(4) ?; beta = 93.15(1) degrees; V = 8760(2) ?(3). The I-M or O-M bonds in complexes 1-5 are weak and can be easily broken by the addition of neutral (CO, PPh(3), and CH(3)CN) or anionic (Br(-)) ligands.  相似文献
