Using 13C NMR techniques, the 12C/13C kinetic isotope effects (KIEs) for the polymerization of 1-hexene catalyzed by rac-(C2H4(1-indenyl)2)ZrMe2 in the presence of four different cocatalysts (tris(pentfluorophenyl)borane, tris(pentafluorophenyl)alane, anilinium tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)borate, and methylalumoxane) have been determined. All cocatalysts yield similar KIEs within experimental uncertainty, with values of 1.009(1) and 1.017(2) at C1 and C2, respectively. Ab initio DFT computational modeling of the polymerization KIE indicates that alkene binding to the catalyst must be reversible, with the majority of the KIE developing in the subsequent migratory insertion reaction.  相似文献

The propagating species for 1-hexene, propene, and ethene polymerization as catalyzed by [rac-(C2H4(1-indenyl)2)Zr(CH3)][CH3B(C6F5)3] has been intercepted at T < -40 degrees C and characterized by NMR methods. Observation of the propagating species permits direct monitoring of initiation, propagation, and termination processes by NMR. Detailed examination of alkene incorporation into Zr-polymeryl species using 13C-labeled 1-alkenes supports a continuous insertion mechanism whereby the anion re-coordinates after each alkene insertion.  相似文献

Copolymerizations of ethylene with 1-hexene have been carried out by using two metallocenes: highly syndiospecific isopropylidene(1-η5-cyclopentadienyl)(1-η5-fluorenyl)-dimethylzirconium (Me2C(Flu)(Cp)ZrMe2, 1) and less syndiospecific (1-fluorenyl-2-cyclopentadienylethane)-dimethylzirconium (Et(Flu)(Cp)ZrMe2, 2), in the presence of [Ph3C][B(C6F5)4] as a cocatalyst. The effect of different types of bridges on the catalytic activity and comonomer reactivity was reported. The ethano bridged 2 compound of a smaller dihedral angle showed much higher activity than the 1 compound in the ethylene homo- and copolymerizations. The catalytic activities of the two compounds were enhanced about twice when a suitable amount of 1-hexene comonomer is present in the feed. The copolymerization of ethylene with 1-hexene revealed a noticeable influence of the type of bridge on the relative reactivity of the 1-hexene. 13C-NMR analysis of copolymers showed that compound 1 is characterized by lower rE, taken as an index of ethylene reactivity, and higher reactivity of 1-hexene. The bridge also affects the distribution of the 1-hexene along the copolymer chain, investigated through their product of reactivity ratios, rErH. The thermal properties and the density of copolymers were not affected by the type of bridge of the metallocenes, but mainly depended on 1-hexene content in the copolymer. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. The solvothermal reaction of (N(C(4)H(9))(4))(2)[Re(2)Cl(8)] with trifluoroacetic acid and acetic anhydride leads to the new rhenium trifluoroacetate dimer N(C(4)H(9))(4)[Re(2)(OOCCF(3))Cl(6)] (1) and to the rhenium carbonyl dimer Re(2)(mu(2)-Cl)(2)(CO)(8) as the rhenium-reduced byproduct. The reaction of the precursor complex, N(C(4)H(9))(4)[Re(2)(OOCCF(3))Cl(6)] (1), with the organometallic carboxylic acid (CO)(6)Co(2)HCCCOOH leads to the cluster of clusters compound Re(2)(OOCCCHCo(2)(CO)(6))(4)Cl(2) (2), which has the dimer structure of Re(2)(OOCR)(4)Cl(2). Cyclic voltammetric measurements show that Re(2)(OOCCCHCo(2)(CO)(6))(4)Cl(2) (2) has one reduction centered on the dirhenium core and a reduction centered on the cobalt atoms. DFT calculations have been used to rationalize the observed displacements of the voltammetric signals in Re(2)(OOCCCHCo(2)(CO)(6))(4)Cl(2) (2) compared to the parent ligand (CO)(6)Co(2)HCCCOOH and rhenium pivalate.  相似文献

New synthesis procedures are described to tetranuclear manganese carboxylate complexes containing the [Mn(4)O(2)](8+) or [Mn(4)O(3)X](6+) (X(-) = MeCO(2)(-), F(-), Cl(-), Br(-), NO(3)(-)) core. These involve acidolysis reactions of [Mn(4)O(3)(O(2)CMe)(4)(dbm)(3)] (1; dbm is the anion of dibenzoylmethane) or [Mn(4)O(2)(O(2)CEt)(6)(dbm)(2)] (8) with HX (X(-) = F(-), Cl(-), Br(-), NO(3)(-)); high-yield routes to 1 and 8 are also described. The X(-) = NO(3)(-) complexes [Mn(4)O(3)(NO(3))(O(2)CR)(3)(R'(2)dbm)(3)] (R = Me, R' = H (6); R = Me, R' = Et (7); R = Et, R' = H (12)) represent the first synthesis of the [Mn(4)O(3)(NO(3))](6+) core, which contains an unusual eta(1):mu(3)-NO(3)(-) group. Treatment of known [Mn(4)O(2)(O(2)CEt)(7)(bpy)(2)](ClO(4)) with HNO(3) gives [Mn(4)O(2)(NO(3))(O(2)CEt)(6)(bpy)(2)](ClO(4)) (15) containing a eta(1):eta(1):mu-NO(3)(-) group bridging the two body Mn(III) ions of the [Mn(4)O(2)](8+) butterfly core. Complex 7 x 4CH(2)Cl(2) crystallizes in space group P2(1)2(1)2(1) with (at -168 degrees C) a = 21.110(3) A, b = 22.183(3) A, c = 15.958(2) A, Z = 4, and V = 7472.4(3) A(3). Complex 15 x (3)/(2)CH(2)Cl(2) crystallizes in space group P2(1)/c with (at -165 degrees C) a = 26.025(4) A, b = 13.488(2) A, c = 32.102(6) A, beta = 97.27(1) degrees, Z = 8, and V = 11178(5) A(3). Complex 7 contains a [Mn(4)(mu(3)-O)(3)(mu(3)-NO(3))](6+) core (3Mn(III), Mn(IV)) as seen for previous [Mn(4)O(3)X](6+) complexes. Complex 15 contains a butterfly [Mn(4)(mu(3)-O)(2)](8+) core. (1)H NMR spectra have been recorded for all complexes reported in this work and the various resonances assigned. All complexes retain their structural integrity on dissolution in chloroform and dichloromethane. Magnetic susceptibility (chi(M)) data were collected on 12 in the 5-300 K range in a 10.0 kG (1 T) field. Fitting of the data to the theoretical chi(M) vs T expression appropriate for a [Mn(4)O(3)X](6+) complex of C(3)(v)() symmetry gave J(34) = -23.9 cm(-)(1), J(33) = 4.9 cm(-)(1), and g = 1.98, where J(34) and J(33) refer to the Mn(III)Mn(IV) and Mn(III)Mn(III) pairwise exchange interactions, respectively. The ground state of the molecule is S = 9/2, as found previously for other [Mn(4)O(3)X](6+) complexes. This was confirmed by magnetization data collected at various fields and temperatures. Fitting of the data gave S = 9/2, D = -0.45 cm(-1), and g = 1.96, where D is the axial zero-field splitting parameter.  相似文献

The bis(trifluoromethyl)phosphanide ion, P(CF(3))(2)(-), decomposes slowly above -30 degrees C in CH(2)Cl(2) and THF solution. An increase of the thermal stability of the P(CF(3))(2)(-) moiety is observed if excess CS(2) is added. The P(CF(3))(2)(-) moiety is stabilized because of the formation of the bis(trifluoromethyl)phosphanodithioformate anion. Solutions of a [P(CF(3))(2)CS(2)](-) salt still act as a source of P(CF(3))(2)(-), even in the presence of excess of CS(2). The stable compound [18-crown-6-K][P(CF(3))(2)CS(2)] was characterized by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and vibrational spectroscopy in combination with quantum chemical calculations. The thermally unstable P(C(6)F(5))(2)(-) ion decomposes even at -78 degrees C in solution giving polymeric material. The intermediate formation of the bis(pentafluorophenyl)phosphanide anion in the presence of excess of CS(2) allows the isolation of [18-crown-6-K][P(C(6)F(5))(2)CS(2)]. The novel compound crystallizes with one solvent molecule CH(2)Cl(2) in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 1151.8(1) pm, b = 1498.1(2) pm, c = 2018.2(2) pm, beta = 102.58(1) degrees, and Z = 4. Optimized geometric parameters of the [P(C(6)F(5))(2)CS(2)](-) ion at the B3PW91/6-311G(d) level of theory are in excellent agreement with the experimental values.  相似文献

The structural characterization of two new sodium phenolate complexes, containing ortho-amino substituents, enables the influence of intramolecular coordination on the aggregation of sodium phenolate complexes to be determined. Crystals of hexameric [NaOC(6)H(4)(CH(2)NMe(2))-2](6) (1a) are monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c, with a = 11.668(4) ?, b = 18.146(4) ?, c = 14.221(5) ?, beta = 110.76(3) ?, V = 2815.5(16) ?(3), and Z = 2; R = 0.0736 for 2051 reflections with I > 2.0sigma(I). Complex 1a contains a unique Na(6)O(6) core, consisting of two face-fused cubes, with the ortho-amino substituent of each phenolate coordinating to a sodium atom. In addition, two of the phenolate ligands have an eta(2)-arene interaction with an additional sodium atom in the core. Crystals of dimeric [(NaOC(6)H(2)(CH(2)NMe(2))(2)-2,6-Me-4)(HOC(6)H(2)(CH(2)NMe(2))(2)-2,6-Me-4)](2) (2b) are triclinic, space group P&onemacr;, with a = 10.0670(8) ?, b = 10.7121(7) ?, c = 27.131(3) ?, alpha = 92.176(8) degrees, beta = 99.928(8) degrees, gamma = 106.465(6) degrees, V = 2752.1(4) ?(3), and Z = 2; R = 0.0766 for 5329 reflections with I > 2.0sigma(I). Dimeric complex 2b contains two phenolate ligands, which bridge the two sodium atoms, each coordinating with one ortho-amino substituent to a sodium atom, while the second available ortho-amino substituent remains pendant. The coordination sphere of each sodium atom is completed by a (neutral) bidentate O,N-coordinated parent phenol molecule. The second ortho-amino substituent of this neutral phenol is involved in a hydrogen bridge with its acidic hydrogen. On the basis of these two new crystal structures and previously reported solid state structures for sodium phenolate complexes, it is shown that the introduction of first one and then two ortho-amino substituents into the phenolate ligands successively lowers the degree of association of these complexes in the solid state. In this process, the basic Na(2)O(2) building block of the molecular structures remains intact.  相似文献

A new and efficient catalytic method for deprotection of allyl carboxylic esters using a transition metal complex is reported. The reaction proceeds with a high substrate/catalyst ratio and without use of additional nucleophiles, giving the deprotected carboxylic acid in a quantitative yield. A variety of substrates, including the multifunctional amino acids and peptides, are also usable. The new method is more efficient, safe, and operationally simple in comparison to the conventional palladium-catalyzed method.  相似文献

The hydrothermal reaction of MoO(3) with BaH(3)IO(6) at 180 degrees C for 3 days results in the formation of Ba[(MoO(2))(6)(IO(4))(2)O(4)] x H(2)O (1). Under similar conditions, the reaction of Ba(OH)(2) x 8H(2)O with MoO(3) and Ba(IO(4))(2) x 6H(2)O yields Ba(3)[(MoO(2))(2)(IO(6))(2)] x 2H(2)O (2). The structure of 1, determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, consists of corner- and edge-sharing distorted MoO(6) octahedra that create two-dimensional slabs. Contained within this molybdenum oxide framework are approximately C(2v) tetraoxoiodate(V) anions, IO(4)(3-), that are involved in bonding with five Mo(VI) centers. The two equatorial oxygen atoms of the IO(4)(3-) anion chelate a single Mo(VI) center, whereas the axial atoms are mu(3)-oxo groups and complete the octahedra of four MoO(6) units. The coordination of the tetraoxoiodate(V) anion to these five highly electropositive centers is probably responsible for stabilizing the substantial anionic charge of this anion. The Ba(2+) cations separate the layers from one another and form long ionic contacts with neighboring oxygen atoms and a water molecule. Compound 2 also contains distorted MoO(6) octahedra. However, these solely edge-share with octahedral hexaoxoiodate(VII), IO(6)(5-), anions to form zigzagging one-dimensional, (1)(infinity)[(MoO(2))(IO(6))](3-), chains that are polar. These chains are separated from one another by Ba(2+) cations that are coordinated by additional water molecules. Bond valence sums for the iodine atoms in 1 and 2 are 5.01 and 7.03, respectively. Crystallographic data: 1, monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 13.584(1) A, b = 7.3977(7) A, c = 20.736(2) A, beta = 108.244(2) degrees, Z = 4; 2, orthorhombic, space group Fdd2, a = 13.356(7) A, b = 45.54(2) A, c = 4.867(3) A, Z = 8.  相似文献

The electrochemical oxidations of (C6H6)Cr(CO)3, 1, and (C5H5)Co(CO)2, 2, when carried out in CH2Cl2/[NBu4][B(C6F5)4], allow the physical or chemical characterization of the 17-electron cations 1+ and 2+ at room temperature. The generation of 1+ on a synthetic time scale permits an electrochemical "switch" process involving facile substitution of CO by PPh3 as a route to (C6H6)Cr(CO)2PPh3. The radical 2+ undergoes a second-order reaction to give a product assigned as the metal-metal bonded dimer dication [Cp2Co2(CO)4]2+. The new anodic chemistry of these often-studied 18-electron compounds is made possible by increases in the solubility and thermal stability of the cation radicals in media containing the poorly nucleophilic anion [B(C6F5)4]-, TFAB.  相似文献

The coordination chemistry of 2,2'-dipyridyl diselenide (PySeSePy) (2) (C(10)H(8)N(2)Se(2)) has been investigated and its crystal structure has been determined (monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 10.129(2) ?, b = 5.7332(12) ?, c = 19.173(3) ?, beta = 101.493(8) degrees, Z = 4). In metal complexes the ligand was found to coordinate in three different modes, as also confirmed by X-ray structure determination. N,N'-coordination was found in the zinc complex [Zn(PySeSePy)Cl(2)] (3) (C(10)H(8)Cl(2)N(2)Se(2)Zn, triclinic, P&onemacr;, a = 7.9430(10) ?, b = 8.147(2) ?, c = 11.999(2) ?, alpha = 93.685(10) degrees, beta = 107.763(10) degrees, gamma = 115.440(10) degrees, Z = 2) and Se,Se'-coordination in the adduct of the ligand with bis(pentafluorophenyl)mercury(II) [PySeSePyHg(C(6)F(5))(2)] (5) (C(10)H(8)F(10)HgN(2)Se(2), monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 7.7325(10) ?, b = 5.9974(14) ?, c = 25.573, beta = 98.037(10) degrees, Z = 2), which however displays only weak interactions between selenium and mercury. The reaction of the ligand with norbornadiene carbonyl complexes of molybdenum and tungsten leads to reductive cleavage of the selenium-selenium bond with oxidation of the metal center and concomitant addition of the resulting selenolate to the metal carbonyl fragment. Thus the 7-coordinate complexes [Mo(SePy)(2)(CO)(3)] (6) (C(13)H(8)MoN(2)O(3)Se(2), monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 9.319(3) ?, b = 12.886(5) ?, c = 13.231(6) ?, beta = 109.23(3) degrees, Z = 4) and [W(SePy)(2)(CO)(3)] (7) (C(13)H(8)N(2)O(3)Se(2)W, monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 9.303(2) ?, b = 12.853(2) ?, c = 13.232(2) ?, beta = 109.270(10) degrees, Z = 4) were obtained. The same N,Se-coordination pattern emerges from the reaction of [Fe(2)(CO)(9)] with (2) leading to [Fe(SePy)(2)(CO)(2)] (8) (C(12)H(8)FeN(2)O(2)Se(2), monoclinic, P&onemacr;, a = 8.6691(14) ?, b = 12.443(2) ?, c = 14.085(2) ?, alpha = 105.811(10) degrees, beta = 107.533(8) degrees, gamma = 92.075(10) degrees, Z = 4).  相似文献

The one-electron oxidized linear pentanuclear nickel complexes [Ni(5)(tpda)(4)(H(2)O)(BF(4))](BF(4))(2) (1) and [Ni(5)(tpda)(4)(SO(3)CF(3))(2)](SO(3)CF(3)) (2) have been synthesized by reacting the neutral compound [Ni(5)(tpda)(4)Cl(2)] with the corresponding silver salts. These compounds have been characterized by various spectroscopic techniques. Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 15.3022(1) A, b = 31.0705(3) A, c = 15.8109(2) A, beta = 92.2425(4) degrees, V = 7511.49(13) A(3), Z = 4, and compound 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 42.1894(7) A, b = 17.0770(3) A, c = 21.2117(4) A, beta = 102.5688(8) degrees, V = 14916.1(5) A(3), Z = 8. X-ray structural studies reveal an unsymmetrical Ni(5) unit for both compounds 1 and 2. Compounds 1 and 2 show stronger Ni-Ni interactions as compared to those of the neutral compounds.  相似文献

The first example of a mononuclear diphosphanidoargentate, bis[bis(trifluoromethyl)phosphanido]argentate, [Ag[P(CF(3))(2)](2)](-), is obtained via the reaction of HP(CF(3))(2) with [Ag(CN)(2)](-) and isolated as its [K(18-crown-6)] salt. When the cyclic phosphane (PCF(3))(4) is reacted with a slight excess of [K(18-crown-6)][Ag[P(CF(3))(2)](2)], selective insertion of one PCF(3) unit into each silver phosphorus bond is observed, which on the basis of NMR spectroscopic evidence suggests the [Ag[P(CF(3))P(CF(3))(2)](2)](-) ion. On treatment of the phosphane complexes [M(CO)(5)PH(CF(3))(2)] (M = Cr, W) with [K(18-crown-6)][Ag(CN)(2)], the analogous trinuclear argentates, [Ag[(micro-P(CF(3))(2))M(CO)(5)](2)](-), are formed. The chromium compound [K(18-crown-6)][Ag[(micro-P(CF(3))(2))Cr(CO)(5)](2)] crystallizes in a noncentrosymmetric space group Fdd2 (No. 43), a = 2970.2(6) pm, b = 1584.5(3) pm, c = 1787.0(4), V = 8.410(3) nm(3), Z = 8. The C(2) symmetric anion, [Ag[(micro-P(CF(3))(2))Cr(CO)(5)](2)](-), shows a nearly linear arrangement of the P-Ag-P unit. Although the bis(pentafluorophenyl)phosphanido compound [Ag[P(C(6)F(5))(2)](2)](-) has not been obtained so far, the synthesis of its trinuclear counterpart, [K(18-crown-6)][Ag[(micro-P(C(6)F(5))(2))W(CO)(5)](2)], was successful.  相似文献
