A new complex, bis(triethylene glycol-O,O′,O′’,O?)manganese(II) dibromide [Mn(TEG)2]2+·2Br?, was prepared. Its structure was studied by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The complex cation [Mn(TEG)2]2+ is of the host-guest type with two TEG ligands (podands) as hosts. Both TEG ligands are disordered and tetradentate, with all the four oxygen atoms of each ligand participating in the coordination. The Mn2+ cation has coordination number 8, and its coordination polyhedron is a distorted bisdisphenoid (trigonal dodecahedron). The geometric parameters (bond lengths, bond and torsion angles) of the complex were determined relatively accurately. In the crystal structure, the ions form infinite thick layers by interionic hydrogen bonds O-H···Br?.  相似文献

Reaction of 1,2-O-alkylidene--D-glucofuranose 3,5,6-phosphites with dicarbonylrhodium(I) acetylacetonate was studied. The structure of the reaction products is determined by the reagent ratio. At a 5:1 molar ratio, the step ligand-exchange process yields chiral complexes of the [RhL5]+acac type. Background

Sydnone is a heterocycle that exhibits remarkable pharmacological activities, including antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic and antioxidant activities. Thiosemicarbazones are of compounds that contain the –NHCSNHN=C< linkage group and are considerable interest because they exhibit important chemical properties and potentially beneficial biological activities. Similarly, thiosemicarbazones having carbohydrate moieties also exhibit various significant biological activities.

Results

The compounds of 3-formyl-4-phenylsydnones were obtained by Vilsmeyer-Haack’s formylation reaction and were transformed into thiosemicarbazones by condensation reaction with N-(2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-β-d-glucopyranosyl)thiosemicarbazide. Reaction were performed in the presence glacial acetic acid as catalyst using microwave-assisted heating method. Reaction yields were 43?85 %. The antimicrobial activities of these thiosemicarbazones were screened in vitro by using agar well diffusion and MIC methods. Among these thiosemicarbazones, compounds 4k, 4l, 4m and 4n were more active against all tested bacterial strains, especially against S. epidermidis, B. subtilis and E. coli. The MIC values in these cases are 0.156, 0.156 and 0.313 μg/mL, respectively. All compounds showed weak to moderate antifungal activity against C. albicans and A. niger than nystatin (MIC = 0.156?0.625 μg/mL vs. MIC = 0.078 μg/mL of nystatin), and thiosemicarbazones 4l, 4m and 4n exhibited significant activity with MIC = 0.156 μg/mL. These compounds also had good antifungal activity against F. oxysporum similarly to nystatin (MIC = 0.156 μg/mL). Among the tested compounds having halogen group 4k, 4l, 4m and 4n showed highest activity against three strains of fungal organisms.

Conclusions

In summary, we have developed a clean and efficient methodology for the synthesis of novel thiosemicarbazone derivatives bearing sydnone ring and d-glucose moiety; the heterocyclic and monosaccharide system being connected via ?NH?C(=S)NH?N=C< linker using molecular modification approach. The methodology could be further extended and used for the synthesis of other thiosemicarbazones of biological importance. 4-Formyl-3-arylsydnone N-(2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-β-d-glucopyranosyl)thiosemicarbazones have been synthesized under microwave-assisted heating conditions. Almost all obtained compounds showed remarkable activities against the tested microorganisms. Among the tested compounds having halogen group 4k, 4l, 4m and 4n showed highest activity against all tested strains of bacterial and fungal organisms.

A thermophilic Anoxybacillus sp. strain JT-12, isolated from soil, produced acidic xylotriose, 4-O-methyl-α-d-glucuronosyl-xylotriose (MeGlcAX3), as a main product from birchwood xylan and accumulated them in the culture under optimum conditions at pH 7.0 and 55 °C using 0.75% (w/v) birchwood xylan as a carbon source for 42–72 h. The acidic xylotriose was purified by ethanol precipitation and high-performance liquid chromatography using NH2 Lichosher® 100 column. The results of electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, mass to charge ratio (m/z) 603.23, confirmed that the purified sample was acidic xylotriose that had benefits and applications in many fields.  相似文献

Surfactant-free nanoparticles of methoxy poly(ethylene glycol)-b-poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide-co-ɛ-caprolactone) diblock copolymers (MPEG-b-PDLLGCL) with different DLL:G:CL ratios were prepared by modified-spontaneous emulsification solvent diffusion method. Sizes of resulted colloidal nanoparticles obtained from light-scattering analysis were in the range of 121–132 nm with narrow size distribution. The nanoparticle sizes depended on the composition of the PDLLGCL block. Scanning electron microscopy demonstrated that the nanoparticles were aggregated after drying process, suggested they were soft nanoparticles. However, their initial aggregates can be observed and it was shown that the nanoparticles have spherical shape with smooth surface. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

E-(4-β-D-Allopyranosyloxyphenyl)-1-(4-substituted phenyl)propenone derivatives (1a–g) have been synthesized by the Claisen-Schmidt condensation of helicid with 4-substituted acetophenone using 10% NaOH aqueous solution as a catalyst. 6H-2-Amino-4-aryl-6-(4-β-D-allopyranosyloxyphenyl)-1,3-thiazine (2a–g) were synthesized by the 1,4-Michael reaction of 1a–g with thiourea. The structures of all the new products were established by 1H NMR, IR, and MS spectroscopy. Compound 2b (200 mg·kg–1) showed better sedative-hypnotic activity, so further modification of helicid should be worthwhile.  相似文献

Summary. We describe the formation of thieno[2,3-b:5,4-c]dipyridines from 5,6-dihydropyridine-2(1H)-thiones. The two-step reaction mechanism was revealed by isolation of an intermediate. The oxo and thioxo groups of the obtained tricyclic compounds were hydrogenated selectively. Electron ionization (EI), chemical ionization (CI), tandem mass spectrometry, high-resolution measurements, and labeling studies as well as quantum chemical calculations were used to understand the behavior of the molecular radical cations (EI) and protonated molecules (CI) of substituted N-(ortho-cyclopropylphenyl)-N'-aryl ureas and N-(ortho-cyclopropylphenyl)-N'-aryl thioureas in a mass spectrometer. Fragmentation schemes and possible mechanisms of primary isomerization were proposed. According to the fragmentation pattern, formation of the corresponding benzoxazines and benzothiazines was considered as the major process of isomerization of the original M(+.) and MH(+), although some portions of these ions definitely transformed into other structures. The treatment of N-(ortho-cyclopropylphenyl)-N'-phenyl urea and N-(ortho-cyclopropylphenyl)-N'-phenylthiourea in solution with strong acids formed predicted 4-ethyl-N-phenyl-4H-3,1-benzoxazin-2-amin and 4-ethyl-N-phenyl-4H-3,1-benzothiazin-2-amine as principal products.  相似文献

Methyl-4-methylene-2,3-O-isopropylidene-β-D-ribofuranoside prepared from D-ribose reacted in a system NBS-THF-H2O to give a mixture of stereoisomeric products of regioselective bromohydroxylation of a double bond. The reaction involved a hydrolysis of the glycoside bond, but the acetonide protective group was retained. The mechanism of the selective hydrolysis originating from the ring-chain tautomerism of bromohydrins obtained was proved by the 1H NMR spectra of the steroisomeric methyl-5-deoxy-5-bromo-4-hydroxy-2,3-O-isopropylidene-β-D-ribofuranosides. By crotonic cyclization of the formed masked 1,4-dicarbonyl compounds at heating in benzene in the presence of neutral Al2O3 a new chiral cyclopentenone block, 2-bromo-4,5-isopropylideneoxycyclopent-2-en-1-one, was obtained in a low yield.  相似文献

The n-decane–n-hexadecane–cyclododecane, n-decane–cyclododecane, and n-hexadecane–cyclododecane systems are studied by means of low-temperature differential thermal analysis using a differential scanning heat flow calorimeter. It is noted that all studied systems belong to the eutectic type. It is concluded that in the n-decane–n-hexadecane–cyclododecane system, the eutectic composition contains 85.0 wt % n10Н22, 4.0 wt % n16Н34, and 11.0 wt % С12Н24. 5-Phenyl-, 5,15-diphenyl-5,15-di(thiophen-2-yl)-, and 5,10,15,20-tetraphenyloctaalkyl-21H,23H-porphyrins in benzene–acetic acid mixtures are moderate bases (pK–0.27 to–2.48). There is no simple correlation between the basicity constants and any electronic or geometric structure parameter of their molecules due to the contributions of three factors to the basicity: distortion of the planar structure in highly substituted macrocycles and their protonated forms, positive charge delocalization over the conjugated bond system, and electronic effects of substituents.  相似文献

Using the eutectic-type Txy diagram as an example, it can be represented the analysis of its geometrical construction dependence on the temperature of a component two polymorphous modifications which participate in mono- and invariant metatectic and invariant eutectic (eutectoid) transformations above or below (and within) binary eutectics temperature intervals and below a ternary eutectic temperature. Computer models for considered phase diagrams have been designed. Such models help to solve applied tasks like visualization, isopleths and isothermal sections decoding, mass balances calculation and evaluation of phase and conglomerate concentration in microstructure.  相似文献
