In this paper, a novel guided-mode resonances (GMRs) based embedded dual-wavelength filter, which had the bilayer gratings located at the two sides of dielectric substrate and arranged at asymmetric position, was investigated and studied theoretically. As compared to symmetric structures that usually provided single wavelength of transmission resonance, as one normal incidence was used for transverse magnetic polarized light, the designed asymmetric structure could generate two remarkable narrow band wavelengths of transmission resonance. The parameters to affect the resonance wavelengths and the transmission resonance Q value (Q = λ/Δλ) of two bands were the distance between the two metallic gratings, the relatively lateral positions of the upper and lower gratings, the number of structure period, the thicknesses of metallic gratings, and the thickness of dielectric film. By optimizing the designed parameters, a GMR device with two resonance wavelengths located at 1239 and 1302 nm showed relative optimal performance because they had high transmission depth (99.9% and 90%) and ultra-narrow transmission bandwidth (2.8 and 1.8 nm) at the two resonance wavelengths. The presented structure can offer a potential route towards dual-band narrow-band filters and refractive index sensors in the near infrared.  相似文献

导模共振滤波器由于其高峰值反射率,低旁带反射,窄带以及带宽可控等优良特性引起了人们极大的关注,采用亚波长光栅的导模共振效应可以实现传统基于高低折射率介质的多层膜滤波器所无法实现的特殊功能,在弱调制模式下,其共振带宽可以被压缩到零点几纳米,但是由于介质表面和空气层的菲涅耳反射,使得偏离或者远离共振区时的反射率偏高,根据等效介质理论,亚波长光栅在远离共振区可以被看为均匀的薄膜,本文通过对导模共振光栅进行单层、双层以及三层抗反射设计,有效的降低了导模共振光栅的旁带反射率,从而在可见光波段获得了性能优良的共振滤波 关键词: 导模共振 平面波导 傅里叶模式理论 窄带滤波  相似文献

Promising configurations for dual spectral filters based upon grating-waveguide structures are presented. In these configurations, the parameters of the multimode waveguide and grating are carefully chosen to achieve dual resonances at two different pre-determined wavelengths. Specifically, the grating-waveguide structure resonates for each pre-selected wavelength with a different waveguide mode. Theoretical and experimental results reveal that the resonance wavelengths can be accurately selected and that the resonance spectral bandwidths can be less than 1 nm with high contrast ratios. A theoretical analysis of a design of multiple narrow bandpass filters based on one-dimensional (1D) rugate photonic structures with a period jump defect is presented. The optical properties, including transmittance and energy density distributions, are numerically calculated using the propagation matrix method. Our results show that multiple resonance transmission modes are produced when the period jump defect is introduced into the 1D rugate film. Both blueshift and redshift of the stop band of the rugate structure and wavelengths of resonant modes are observed, depending on the change of period jump. The number, the wavelengths, the band intervals, and the intensities of multiple resonance transmission modes are tunable by adjusting structure parameters of the rugate structure. Experimental feasibility of the proposed multiple narrow bandpass optical filters using the technique of glancing angle deposition is also discussed.  相似文献

利用时域有限差分法,对横电波(TE波)激励带电介质的亚波长一维金属光栅的光场分布进行了模拟分析,发现TE波在所研究的模型下具有异常透射现象.探究其物理本质,确定类导模共振理论是第一个峰和第二个峰产生的主要原因.在此基础上,从麦克斯韦方程出发,通过有效折射率法,确定了类Fabry-Perot(F-P)腔谐振是产生第三个峰的主要原因.从而完善了TE波在所研究的模型下产生异常透射现象的物理本质.为进一步研究TE波异常透射性的物理本质提供了一种完整的理论依据. 关键词: 金属光栅 横电波 异常透射 类Fabry-Perot腔谐振  相似文献

We present a simple and effective method for the postfabrication trimming of optical microresonators. We photobleach CLD-1 chromophores to tune the resonance wavelengths of polymer microring resonator optical notch filters. A maximum wavelength shift of -8.73 nm is observed. The resonators are fabricated with a soft-lithography molding technique and have an intrinsic Q value of 2.6 x 10(4) and a finesse of 9.3. The maximum extinction ratio of the resonator filters is -34 dB, indicating that the critical coupling condition has been satisfied.  相似文献

By utilizing the extended phase-matching(EPM) method, we investigate the generation of single photons with high spectral-purity in a magnesium-doped periodically-poled lithium niobate(Mg O:PPLN) crystal via the spontaneous parametric down-conversion(SPDC) process. By adjusting the temperature and pump wavelength, the wavelength of the single photons can be tuned from telecom to mid-infrared(MIR) wavelengths, for which the spectral-purity can be above 0.95 with high transmission filters. In experiments, we engineer a Mg O:PPLN with poling period of 20.35 μm which emits the EPM photon pair centered at 1496.6 nm and 1644.0 nm and carry out the joint spectral intensity(JSI) and Glauber's second-order self-correlation measurements to characterize the spectral purity. The results are in good agreement with the numerical simulations. Our work may provide a valuable approach for the generation of spectrally pure single photons at a wide range of wavelengths which is competent for various photonic quantum technologies.  相似文献

A low-pressure (20 mbar) CO2 laser allows to extract pulses at several selected wavelengths simultaneously from the same active medium. We demonstrated this, using an industrial laser modified by a Q-switch and a resonator with two branches. In one branch the wavelengths are spatially separated, whereas in the other they oscillate in one common transverse mode. We designed a multi-wavelength resonator which requires a single additional reflector compared to usual laser cavities. It provided tunable oscillation at six wavelength simultaneously.  相似文献

依据电压调谐多级液晶滤光片的设计原理,给出了设计实例。主要讨论了三片液晶盒组成的多级滤光片,在滤光片系统中液晶盒可以采用相同厚度,也可以使厚度成一定比例。厚度成比例的多级滤光片,其透射波长可通过调节外加电压而连续改变,调谐范围400~800 nm,覆盖整个可见光区;采用相同厚度液晶盒组成的多级滤光片可以从多条谱线中滤出所需要的波长。原理上两种形式都可以获得性能良好的滤光片。  相似文献

A characteristic equation of single V-groove guide has been derived using the transverse resonance technique. This equation is much less complex and tedious to solve when compared with that obtained by the conformal mapping technique. The computed results are within 1% of the published experimental values for the cut-off wavelengths at X-band and 100 GHz. The present analytical approach is to approximate the central groove region by a large number of rectangular steps and the previously derived analytical solution for the rectangular-groove guide are applied to predict the propagation characteristics of single V-groove guide. A number of components in V-groove guide which have very similar characteristics to those of the rectangular-groove counter-part have been reviewed. It is noted that both the E-plane and H-plane cylindrical bends in both rectangular-groove and V-groove guides had unacceptably high-loss and a satisfactory solution have yet to be reached.  相似文献

Silver chiral nano-flowers with 3-, 4- and 5-fold symmetry were produced using oblique angle deposition method in conjunction with the rotation of sample holder with different speeds at different sectors of each revolution corresponding to symmetry order of the acquired nano-flower. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), were employed to obtain morphology and nano-structure of the films. Optical characteristics of silver chiral nano-flower thin films were obtained using single beam spectrophotometer with both s- and p-polarization incident light at 30° and 70° incidence angles and at different azimuthal angles (φ). Optical spectra showed both TM (TDM (transverse dipole mode) and TQM (transverse quadruple mode)) and LM (longitudinal mode) Plasmon resonance peaks. For 3- and 4-fold symmetry chiral nano-flowers the s-polarization extinction spectra obtained at different azimuthal angles did not show significant change in the Plasmon peak position while 5-fold symmetry chiral nano-flower showed a completely different behavior, which may be the result of increased surface anisotropy, so when the φ angle is changed the s-polarization response from the surface can change more significantly than that for lower symmetries. In general, for 3-, 4- and 5-fold symmetry chiral nano-flowers a sharp peak at lower wavelengths (<450 nm) is observed in the s-polarization spectra, while in addition to this peak a broad peak at longer wavelengths (i.e., LM) observed in the p-polarization spectra, which is more dominant for 70° incidence angle.  相似文献

The stability of an ion beam in synchrotrons with digital filters in the feedback loop of a transverse damper is treated. A transverse feedback system (TFS) is required in synchrotrons to stabilize the high intensity ion beams against transverse instabilities and to damp the beam injection errors. The TFS damper kicker (DK) corrects the transverse momentum of a bunch in proportion to its displacement from the closed orbit at the location of the beam position monitor (BPM). The digital signal processing unit in the feedback loop between BPM and DK ensures a condition to achieve optimal damping. Damping rates of the feedback systems with digital filters are analysed in comparison with those in an ideal feedback system.  相似文献

We fabricate reflection color filters for three primary colors using silicon two-dimensional triangular-lattice subwavelength gratings on the same quartz substrate. The grating periods are 480, 390, and 300 nm for red, green, and blue filters, respectively. All of the color filters have the same thickness of 100 nm, which enables the simple fabrication of a color filter array. Maximum reflectances of 75 and 46% are obtained at wavelengths of 647.1 and 522.1 nm for the red and green filters, respectively. The blue filter has a double-peaked spectrum with a reflectance of 30% at the peak wavelengths of 450.0 and 502.7 nm. By rigorous coupled-wave analysis, the dimensions of each color filter are designed, and the calculated theoretical reflectance is compared with the measured one.  相似文献

We demonstrate thermo-optically tunable Er3+-doped fiber amplifiers covering S and C+L bands (1490-1610 nm) using fundamental-mode cutoff filters discretely located in a 17.5 m long standard Er3+-doped fiber. The material dispersion and waveguide structure of the tapered fibers are locally modified to produce high-cutoff-efficiency filters that make the unwanted amplified spontaneous emission highly attenuated at the longer wavelengths, and the optical gain is thus moved toward the shorter wavelengths. The maximal signal gains are measured to be 18.92, 37.18, and 15.19 dB with 980 nm pump power of 135 mW in the S, C, and L bands, respectively.  相似文献

A very simple yet accurate design procedure for the finline bandpass filters at millimeter wavelengths is presented. The technique enables the geometry of finline bandpass filters to be obtained accurately from simple closed-form equations and curves. Using this graphical approach, various millimeter-wave finline bandpass filters have been designed. Results in V-band (50 to 75 GHz) and W-band (75 to 110 GHz) are presented and indicate a good agreement between the calculated and measured performances.  相似文献

利用matlab优化工具箱,采用非线性规划,对三区振幅型(透过率为1-0-1)和三区位相型(相位角为π-0-π)光瞳滤波器进行三维超分辨优化设计,建立了优化模型,经计算机多次迭代运算,改变斯特尔比s值,给出了优化结果.结果显示:所设计的滤波器较好地实现了横向和轴向三维超分辨,且轴向超分辨能力优于横向;相同斯特尔比下,位相型三维超分辨能力优于振幅型,并且这两种滤波器结构简单,容易实现.  相似文献

To study the three-dimensional (3-D) behavior produced by complex filters, we have extended the expressions for the axial and the transverse gain to the case in which the best image plane is not near the paraxial focus. Super-Gaussian phase filters are proposed to control the 3-D image response of an optical system. Super-Gaussian phase filters depend on several parameters that modify the shape of the phase filter, producing tunable control of the 3-D response of the optical system. The filters are capable of producing a wide range of optical effects: transverse superresolution with high depth of focus, 3-D superresolution, and transverse apodization with different axial responses.  相似文献

实验研究了基于导模共振的反射型电光调制器采用的棱镜耦合方式,在棱镜上面镀有4层膜,依次为银膜下电极-极化聚合物-缓冲层-金膜上电极。对这种衰减全反射(ATR)型的聚合物波导电光调制器进行了视频调制实验,采用静态偏置电压稳定模式同步角方法,结合对入射激光束进行监测,解决了视频调制中激光器噪声对模拟信号调制影响的问题,提高了工作稳定性。实验结果表明:该电光调制器具有良好的线性和较高的灵敏度。  相似文献

We directly visualize single polymers with persistence lengths l(p), ranging from 0.05 to 16 microm, dissolved in the nematic phase of rodlike fd virus. Polymers with a sufficiently large persistence length undergo a coil-rod transition at the isotropic-nematic transition of the background solvent. We quantitatively analyze the transverse fluctuations of the semiflexible polymers and show that at long wavelengths they are driven by the fluctuating nematic background. We extract the Odijk deflection length and the elastic constant of the background nematic phase from the data.  相似文献

We report a novel (to the best of our knowledge) simultaneous 1310/1550 two-wavelength band swept laser source and dual-band common-path swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT). Synchronized dual-wavelength tuning is performed by using two laser cavities and narrowband wavelength filters with a single dual-window polygonal scanner. Measured average output powers of 60 and 27 mW have been achieved for the 1310 and 1550 nm bands, respectively, while the two wavelengths were swept simultaneously from 1227 to 1387 nm for the 1310 nm band and from 1519 to 1581 nm for the 1550 nm band at an A-scan rate of 65 kHz. Broadband wavelength-division multiplexing is used for coupling two wavelengths into a common-path single-mode GRIN-lensed fiber probe to form dual-band common-path SS-OCT. Simultaneous OCT imaging at 1310 and 1550 nm is achieved. This technique allows for in vivo high-speed OCT imaging with potential application in functional (spectroscopic) investigations.  相似文献
