射频测量系统中经常会用到波导-同轴线转换器,主要是利用其将射频器件的波导端口转换成能够直接接入测量仪器的50 Ω同轴线。本文设计的648 MHz/WR1500波导同轴转换器主要用于CSNS升级工程(CSNS-II)超导直线射频器件的测量。利用切比雪夫脊型阶梯阻抗变换和探针耦合的方式实现波导到同轴线的转换。对脊加载波导和不连续同轴线分别进行了分析,得到最优尺寸。为了提高测量精度,设计的波导-同轴线转换器具有低插入损耗、低驻波比和宽带宽等特性。最后对生产的转换器进行了测试,测试结果与仿真结果相近,能够满足作为测量器件的使用要求。  相似文献

在新型L波段多注速调管的研制中,为了降低电磁聚焦系统的设计难度,需要减小输出波导的截面尺寸。为此,提出了在速调管输出组件中应用脊波导的方案。针对该型速调管的要求,设计了完整的脊波导输出组件并进行验证。计算结果表明,这种采用了脊波导的速调管输出组件,能够在10%的带宽内达到1.2以下的驻波比,理论功率容量达到490 MW。采用了该方案的组件尺寸紧凑,加工方便,调试容易。  相似文献

A new kind of V-ridge waveguide is presented in this paper. The transmission problem is solved by edge element for the first time. The field patterns of the waveguide with single, double and triple V-ridge for different values of dielectric constant have been presented. Variations of the cutoff wavelength, single-mode bandwidth with the ridge dimensions for different values of dielectric constant are investigated in detail. The results will be of practical significance in designing ridge waveguide components in microwave and millimeter wave engineering.  相似文献

M-Z光波导是聚合物电光调制器的重要结构单元。利用有效折射率法计算聚合物脊形波导的横向折射率分布,将三维光波场传播简化为二维传播。从导模满足的标量波动方程出发,结合透明边界条件,采用Crank-Nicholson差分格式,得出有限差分束传播法的基本计算格式。通过对M Z型波导结构中TM模的传播及损耗特性进行理论分析,系统地研究了脊宽、分支角等结构参数对损耗的影响。研究表明,有效折射率法与二维有限差分束传播法的结合可以较好地解决脊形M Z波导的设计问题。该方法具有精度高、计算量小及效率高等优点,为聚合物电光调制器的制备提供了理论依据。  相似文献

提出脊加载同轴交错圆盘波导慢波结构,并用电磁场仿真软件HFSS对其色散特性和耦合阻抗进行了计算,分析了不同结构参数对其高频特性的影响。研究表明:脊加载同轴交错圆盘波导有较好的色散特性,它比非同轴结构的带宽有明显增加,同时可以降低慢波结构的相速,用作行波管慢波结构时可以降低工作电压。脊加载同轴交错圆盘波导是一种全金属结构,散热性能好,损耗低,在毫米波及亚毫米波段的行波管中有较好的应用前景。  相似文献

设计了一种基于光学偏置并以有机聚合物PMMA/DRI作为光波导材料的新型Mach-Zehdner调制器。利用有效折射率法(EIM),分析了脊波导的有效折射率随脊波导结构参数变化情况,包括脊宽训、脊高b和芯层厚度d,以及上下包层厚度。采用微带线单电极调制方式结合脊波导的结构设计,实现了微波和光波的速率匹配。针对优化的结构参数,采用BPM方法进行光场和功率传输的模拟仿真,完成了非等臂Math—Zehnder调制器的结构设计,实现了两臂89.84。的初始相位差,消光比约为27dB。  相似文献

基于波导理论、等效折射率方法,设计并制备了非对称波导隔离双沟结构脊型边发射激光器,最终获得了低闽值单基侧模852 nm激光器.详细研究了不同脊型台深宽比参数设计对激光器侧向模式特性的影响规律,实现了腔面未镀膜情况下脊型波导边发射激光器的单基侧模稳定输出,同时激射波长可以精确调谐到852 nm;工作电流达到150 mA,工作温度30℃;斜率效率最高可达0.89 nW/mA,光谱半宽小于1 nm.研究结果为进一步实现超窄线宽激光器提供了参考和借鉴,并且为实现激光器稳定输出提供了实验基础.  相似文献

在传统脊状等离子体波导的基础上设计了一种带有增益介质层的新型混合脊状等离子体波导,其结构中的介质层部分包含两个区域:前区为单一介质,后区的脊是由2种介质构成的双层脊区。采用二维时域有限差分方法分析了波导结构的传输特性,得到了TM模下的电场分布图,并对输出功率以及传输损耗与结构参数和介质折射率的变化规律进行了讨论。结果表明,在波导中引入的增益介质材料磷化铟后其损耗达到-6 dB/μm。此种波导结构对于光集成芯片的研究与制作具有重要意义。  相似文献

Surface-emitted terahertz- (THz-) wave generation by difference-frequency mixing with ridge-shaped periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) was demonstrated. The PPLN had a ridge height of 300 microm, a thickness of 20 microm, and an interaction length of 35 mm. The ridge behaves as a slab waveguide for optical pump beams. The PPLN gives rise to THz waves in opposite directions, perpendicular to the pump-beam direction. Reflecting the THz wave on one side and overlapping it with the THz wave on the other side increased the total THz-wave intensity approximately 2.7 times compared with that without reflection and mixing.  相似文献

提出了一类新型毫米波大功率微波器件——脊加载曲折波导行波管,推导出了引入电子注后的"热"色散方程.通过数值求解此方程,研究了加脊尺寸和电子注参数对小信号增益影响.计算结果表明:通过适当的尺寸设计和工作参数的选择,此结构在Kα波段具有18.51%的3 dB增益带宽和1.15 dB/周期的增益;相比于常规曲折波导结构,脊加载结构在保证一定带宽的情况下,具有更高的增益和电子效率;为了进一步提高增益,可以适当增加脊宽度和高度,也可在一定范围内增加电子注电流. 关键词: 毫米波 曲折波导 脊加载 小信号增益  相似文献

We present a design of a linear optical waveguide that utilizes a C-shaped metallic nano-aperture that efficiently transports light while maintaining a spot size of lambda/10. The performance of a C-aperture waveguide is superior to both a regular ridge waveguide and other surface plasmon based metal nano-optical waveguides. The energy transport mechanisms are explained by the coupling of an aperture surface resonance and the thickness resonances inside the guide channel. Finite-difference time-domain simulations of gold C-aperture waveguides are performed for a 1.5 microm wavelength incident plane wave. The 1/e decay length in power transmission is predicted to be approximately 2.5 microm. The total power throughput is 1.66 for the 2.55 microm long guide, with an intensity 6 times that of the incident wave at a distance 120 nm from the exit plane, having a spot size of 150 nm.  相似文献

We have studied the coupling of a classic ridge waveguide with a two-dimensional photonic crystal (PC) waveguide, using finite-difference time-domain calculations. The ridge waveguide exhibits only a weak refractive-index confinement of light, as it is commonly used in buried-heterostructure or ridge-waveguide lasers. The light is coupled to a PC waveguide that consists of one missing row along the ?K direction in a triangular lattice of air cylinders in AlGaAs. We compare various designs for PC tapers with that of a classic taper and for butt coupling. The calculation yields high coupling efficiency that exceeds 80% for a 2.5-microm-long PC taper. In addition, the dependence of the efficiency on the PC air-fill factor and on alignment tolerances is analyzed.  相似文献

The analytical expressions of converted wave power for difference frequency generation (DFG), cascaded second-harmonic generation and difference frequency generation (cSHG/DFG) processes have been obtained under the non-depletion approximation in lossy waveguides. It is shown that the analytical results and the numerical simulation with depletion agree very well for lossy waveguides. Employing the analytical solutions, the formulas of optimized waveguide lengths in lossy waveguides are obtained for DFG and cSHG/DFG processes. After designing an AlGaAs quasi-phase-matched ridge waveguide, we investigate and compare the characteristics of the second-order nonlinear effects with and without waveguide loss, such as conversion efficiency, conversion bandwidth, pump wavelength tolerance and temperature stability in detail.  相似文献

Terbium gallium garnet (Tb3Ga5O12, TGG) crystal can be used to fabricate various magneto-optical devices due to its optimal Faraday effect. In this work, 400-keV He+ ions with a fluence of 6.0×1016 ions/cm2 are irradiated into the TGG crystal for the planar waveguide formation. The precise diamond blade dicing with a rotation speed of 2×104 rpm and a cutting velocity of 0.1 mm/s is performed on the He+-implanted TGG planar waveguide for the ridge structure. The dark-mode spectrum of the He+-implanted TGG planar waveguide is measured by the prism-coupling method, thereby obtaining the relationship between the reflected light intensity and the effective refractive index. The refractive index profile of the planar waveguide is reconstructed by the reflectivity calculation method. The near-field light intensity distribution of the planar waveguide and the ridge waveguide are recorded by the end-face coupling method. The He+-implanted and diamond blade-diced TGG crystal planar and ridge waveguides are promising candidates for integrated magneto-optical devices.  相似文献
