Standard enthalpies of formation of amorphous platinum hydrous oxide PtH2.76O3.89 (Adams' catalyst) and dehydrated oxide PtO2.52 at T=298.15 K were determined to be -519.6±1.0 and -101.3 ±5.2 kJ mol-1, respectively, by micro-combustion calorimetry. Standard enthalpy of formation of anhydrous PtO2 was estimated to be -80 kJ mol-1 based on the calorimetry. A meaningful linear relationship was found between the pseudo-atomization enthalpies of platinum
oxides and the coordination number of oxygen surrounding platinum. This relationship indicates that the Pt-O bond dissociation
energy is 246 kJ mol-1 at T=298.15 K which is surprisingly independent of both the coordination number and the valence of platinum atom. This may provide
an energetic reason why platinum hydrous oxide is non-stoichiometric.

Lanthanum-bearing silicate-oxyapatites or britholites, Ca10–xLax(PO4)6–x(SiO4)xO with 1≤x≤6, have been synthesized by solid state reaction
at high temperature. They were characterized by X-ray diffraction and IR spectroscopy.
Using two microcalorimeters, the heat of solution of these compounds have
been measured at 298 K in a solution of nitric and hydrofluoric acid. A strained
least squares method was applied to the experimental results to obtain the
solution enthalpies at infinite dilution, and the mixing enthalpy in two steps.
In the first step the mixing enthalpy obtained is referenced to the britholite
monosubstituted and to the oxysilicate. The mixing enthalpy referenced to
the oxyapatite and to the oxysilicate is then extrapolated. In order to determine
the enthalpies of formation of all the terms of the solution, thermochemical
cycles were proposed and complementary experiments were performed. The results
obtained show a decrease of the enthalpy of formation with the amount of Si
and La introduced in the lattice. This was explained by the difference in
the bond energies of (Ca–O, P–O) and (La–O, Si–O). 相似文献

A series of lanthanide complexes with the 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoic acid(3,4,5-tmoba) and 1,10-phenanthroline(phen),[Ln(3,4,5-tmoba) 3 phen] 2(Ln = Pr(1),Nd(2) and Ho(3)),have been synthesized and characterized by a series of techniques including elemental analysis,IR spectra,X-ray crystallography and TG/DSC-FTIR technology.The three complexes have two kinds of coordination modes,in which the Pr 3+ and Nd 3+ cations are nine-coordinated and the Ho 3+ cation is eight-coordinated.The three-dimensional IR accumulation spectra of gaseous products for complexes 1-3 were analyzed and the gaseous products were identified by the typical IR spectra obtained from the 3D surface graphs.Meanwhile,we obtained the activation energy E of the first steps of complexes 1-3 by the integral isoconversional non-linear(NL-INT) method and discussed the non-isothermal kinetics of complexes 1-3 using the Malek method.Finally,SB(m,n) was defined as the kinetic method of the first-step thermal decomposition.The thermodynamic parameters △G≠,△H≠ and △S≠ of activation at the peak temperature were also calculated. 相似文献

Sr2CeO4 has been prepared by sol-combustion and co-precipitate routes and the resulting products have been characterized by XRD analysis. The molar enthalpies of solution of Sr2CeO4(s), Sr(NO3)2(s) and Ce(NO3)3·6H2O(s) in 0.150 dm–3 of (4.41 mol dm–3 H2O2+4.23 mol dm–3 of HNO3) solvent as well as the molar enthalpies of solution of Sr2CeO4(s), SrCl2(s) and CeCl3(s) in 0.150 dm3 of (1.47 mol dm–3 H2O2+3.05 mol dm–3 of HClO4) solvent have been measured using an isoperibol type calorimeter. From these results and other auxiliary data, the standard molar enthalpy of formation of Sr2CeO4 has been derived to be –2277.3±3.1 kJ mol–1 at 298.15 K. A micro-combustion calorimeter was developed. The small energy equivalent (ca. 68 JK–1) of this calorimeter makes it possible to measure combustion energies of very small samples. The energy equivalent was determined by burning 2 mg of benzoic acid. The standard deviation of the mean energy equivalent was reduced to 0.014% in 5 experiments. The standard massic energy of combustion of salicylic acid and the standard deviation of the mean were determined to be –21871±5 J g–1, which agrees well with the literature values. Hydrated strontium borate, SrB4O7·3H2O, has been synthesized and characterized by XRD, FT-IR, DTA-TG and chemical analysis. The molar enthalpy of solution of SrB4O7·3H2O in 1 mol dm−3 HCl(aq) was measured to be (21.15 ± 0.29) kJ mol−1. With incorporation of the previously determined enthalpies of solution of Sr(OH)2·8H2O(s) in [HCl(aq) + H3BO3(aq)] and H3BO3 in HCl(aq), and the enthalpies of formation of H2O(l), Sr(OH)2·8H2O(s) and H3BO3(s), the enthalpy of formation of SrB4O7·3H2O was found to be −(4286.7 ± 3.3) kJ mol−1. 相似文献
