A New Chain-like Copper(II) Polymer: [Cu(MOPIP)(BDC)]n·0.5n(H2O)

A metal-organic coordination compound formulated as [Cu(MOPIP)(BDC)]n·0.5n(H2O) 1(MOPIP = 2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10] phenanthroline, BDC = 1,4-benze Nedicar- boxylate) has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, IR spectrum, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The title compound crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P, with a = 8.872(5), b = 11.163(6), c = 12.589(6) ?, α = 94.687(7), β = 99.930(6), γ = 103.074(7)°, V = 1186.7(12) ?3, C28H19CuN4O5.5, Mr = 563.01, Dc = 1.576 g/cm3, μ(MoKα) = 0.973 mm(1, F(000) = 576, Z = 2, the final R = 0.0607 and wR = 0.1618 for 3419 observed reflections (I > 2((I)).     

Hydrothermal Synthesis and Crystal Structure of [Cu（en）2（H2O）]2{PW11.5Cu0.5O40[Cu（en）2] }·2H2O

A transition metal substituted polyoxotungstate, [Cu（en）2（H2O）]2{PW11.5Cu0.5O40[Cu（en）2] }·2H2O
1 based on Keggin frameworks, has bccn hydrothcrmally synthesized and characterized by IR, TGA and single-crystal X-ray structural analysis. It is interesting to find that the structure unit contains two different valence cations, narncly, one [Cu（1）（en）2（H2O）]^＋ and one [Cu（2）（en）2（H2O）]^2＋. Data for the crystal： orthorhombic system, space group Pbca, a = 21.585（2）, b = 20.695（2）, c = 26.137（3）A, V = 11675（2）A^3, Z = 8, Mr = 3428.23, Dc = 3.901 g/cm^3, F（000） = 12156,μ（MoKα） = 23.932 mm^-1, the final R = 0.0468 and wR = 0.0969 for 6927 observed reflections （I 〉 2σ（I））.     

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of a Novel Heterometallic Complex [Na2Cu2Gd2（pdc）4（H2O）14·2H2O]

A novel heterometallic complex [Na2Cu2Gd2（pdc）4（H2O）14·2H2O] （H3pdc = 1H- pyrazole-3,5-dicarboxylic acid） has been synthesized and characterized by 1R spectra, elemental analysis, and single-crystal X-ray analysis. The crystal belongs to the monoclinic system, space group P2 1/c with a = 7.9521（18）, b = 12.251（3）, c = 22.293（5） A, β = 110.173（5）°, V= 2038.5（8） A^3, Mr = 1388.13, Z = 2, F（000） = 1352, Dc = 2.261 g/cm^3,/2 = 4.380 mm^-1, the final R = 0.0409 and wR = 0.0622 for 2453 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ（I）. The structural analysis shows that the Na^I, Cu^II and Gd^II ions are linked together by two kinds of bridging ligands （pdc^3- and H2O） to form a main moiety [Na2Cu2Gd2（pdc）4（H2O）14], which can be regarded as a centrosymmetric dimmer of [NaCuGd（pdc）2（H2O）7]. Many hydrogen bonds exist in the complex to build a 3D supramolecular framework.

Hydrothermal Synthesis and Crystal Structure of a Cadmium（Ⅱ） Polymer with One-dimensional Chain Structure： [Cd（MDPPz）（BDC）（H2O）]n

A metal-organic coordination compound formulated as [Cd(MDPPz)(BDC)(H2O)]n 1 (MDPPz=11-methyldipyrido[3,2-a:2',3'-c]phenazine,BDC=1,4-benzenedicarboxylate) has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis,IR spectrum,fluorescence spectrum and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The title compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system,space group C2/c,with a=30.673(8),b=9.623(3),c=20.784(6) ,β=98.646(3)o,V=6065(3)3,C27H17CdN4O5,Mr=589.85,Dc=1.292 g/cm3,μ(MoKα)=0.757 mm-1,F(000)=2360,Z=8,the final R=0.0381 and wR=0.0855 for 4191 observed reflections (I>2σ(I)). 1 exhibits blue fluorescence property at room temperature.     

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of One New Coordination Polymer： [Ni（qptc）0.5（bpp）（ H2O）]n

Solvothermal reaction of aromatic terphenyl-2,5,2?,5?-tetracarboxylic acid (H4qptc) ligand and the transitional metal cation of NiII in the presence of 1,3-bi(4-pyri- dyl)propane (bpp) affords one new coordination polymer, [Ni(qptc)0.5(bpp)(H2O)]n (1). The structure has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and further characterized by elemental analysis, IR, TGA, and magnetism. The qptc4- acts as a H-shaped ligand linking the NiII centers together to form a 2D polymeric [Ni(qptc)0.5]n layer consisting of alternately arranged left- and right-handed helical chains. Each 2D polymeric [Ni(qptc)0.5]n layer is further linked through the bridging bpp ligands, thus resulting in a unique (3,4)- connected network with the (62.8)(62. 84) topology. The crystal of 1 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group C2/c with a = 16.088(5), b = 14.913(5), c = 18.849(6) ?, β = 100.982(4), V = 4439(2) ?3, Z = 8, C24H21N2NiO5, Mr = 476.14, Dc = 1.425 g/cm3, F(000) = 1976 and μ(MoKα) = 0.912 mm-1. The final R = 0.0584 and wR = 0.1131 for 3894 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I) and R = 0.1224 and wR = 0.1279 for all data.     

In Situ Hydrothermal Synthesis of a Mononuclear Copper（Ⅱ） Complex： Cu（H2SIP-O）（bpy）（H2O） （H4SIP-O = 4-Hydroxyl-5-sulfoisophthalic Acid）

The mononuclear complex, Cu（H2SIP-O）（bpy）（H2O） （H4SIP-O = 4-hydroxyl- 5-sulfoisophthalic acid and bpy = 2,2＇-dipyridyl）, has been synthesized by the hydrothermal reaction of Cu（OH）2 with NaH2SIP and bpy at 160 ℃, and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis and IR spectrum. The new ligand 4-hydroxyl-5-sulfoisophthalic acid derived from 5-sulfoisophthalic acid ligand under an in situ hydrothermal condition. The crystal of the complex crystallizes in a triclinic system, space group P1, with a = 7.757（4）, b = 10.663（6）, c = 11.727（7）A, α = 94.272（4）, β = 104.067（7）, γ = 97.400（7）°, V= 927.4（9）A^3, Z = 2, C18H14N2O9SCu, Mr= 497.93, Dc= 1.783 g/cm^3,μ = 1.350 mm^-1, F（000） = 506, the final R = 0.0518 and wR = 0.1513 for 4180 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ（I）. The central Cu（II） ion is five-coordinated by two oxygen atoms from the H2SIP-O^2- ligand and two nitrogen atoms of bpy ligand in a distorted square-planar geometry as well as a water oxygen atom in the apical position to complete a distorted square-pyramidal coordination geometry. The mononuclear copper molecules are linked by hydrogen bonds between coordinated water molecules and sulfonate groups to form a one-dimensional double-chain structure. The chains are further held together through extensive π-π stacking interactions between the aromatic rings to form a three- dimensional supramolecular structure.

Three Inorganic-organic Composite Polyoxotungstates： Syntheses,Characterization and Structures of [Cu（2,2＇-bpy）2]5[α-PW11.5Cu0.5O40]·2H2O, [Co（2,2＇-bpy）2（N3）2]4H3[α-PW12O40]·3H2O and [Cu（2,2＇-bpy）2（4,4＇-bpy）]2[α-GeW12O40]-4H2O

Three new inorganic-organic composite polyoxotungstates [Cu（2,2＇-bpy）2]5[α-PW11.5Cu0.5O40]·2H2O 1, [Co（2,2＇-bpy）2（N3）2]4H3[α-PW12O40]·3H2O 2 and [Cu（2,2＇-bpy）2（4,4＇-bpy）]2[α-GeW12O40]-4H2O 3 （2,2＇-bpy = 2,2＇-bipyridine, 4,4＇-bpy = 4,4＇-bipyridine） have been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pna21 with a = 27.847（3）, b = 21.597（2）, c = 20.1179（19）A, V= 12099（2）A^3, Z= 4, GOF= 1.038, R = 0.0427 and wR = 0.1035; 2 belongs to the triclinic space group P1^- with a = 12.31150（10）, b = 16.1954（4）, c = 19.36290（10）A, α = 99.366（11）, β =105.168（8）, γ = 111.836（8）°, V = 3309.98（9）A3, Z = l, GOF = 1.024, R = 0.0739 and wR = 0.2216; and 3 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 12.858（4）, b = 20.943（6）, c = 15.598（5）A, β = 102.338（5）°, V= 4103（2）A3, Z = 2, GOF = 1.026, R = 0.0557 and wR = 0.1316. The common structural features of 1-3 are that their molecular structures all consist of a saturated a-Keggin polyoxoanion and several discrete metal-organic moieties. Intriguingly, 2 and 3 are composed of metal-organic coordination moieties with two mixed ligands.     

Synthesis,Crystal Structure and Electrochemical Properties of a One-dimensional Chain Coordination Polymer [Cu（phen）（2,4,6-TMBA）2（H2O）]n

A one-dimensional chain coordination polymer [Cu（phen）（2,4,6-TMBA）2（H2O）]n has been synthesized by reacting 2,4,6-trimethyl-benzoic acid, 1,10-phenanthroline and Cu（Ⅱ） perchlorate and its structure was characterized. Crystal data for this complex： tetragonal, space group I41, a = 2.0293（3）, b = 2.0293（3）, c = 1.3758（2） nm, α =β= γ = 90°, V= 5.6657（13） nm3, Dc= 1.379 g/cm3, Z = 8, μ（MoKa） = 0.815 mm-1, Mr = 588.14, F（000） = 2456, S = 1.047, R = 0.0459 and wR = 0.1053. The crystal structure shows that two neighboring Cu（Ⅱ） ions are linked together by one bridging-chelating 2,4,6-trimethyl-benzoic group, forming a one-dimensional chain structure. Each Cu（Ⅱ） ion is coordinated with two nitrogen atoms from one 1,10-phenanthroline molecule, three oxygen atoms from three 2,4,6-trimethyl-benzoic acid molecules and one oxygen atom from one water molecule, giving a six-coordinate distorted octahedral coordination geometry. The cyclic voltammetry behavior of the complex was also investigated.     

Synthesis,Characterization, and DNA Binding Properties of Dinuclear Copper（Ⅱ） Complex [Cu2（TATP）2（L-Leu）2（CIO4）2]2·2H2O

A dinuclear copper（Ⅱ） complex[Cu2（TATP）2（L-Leu）2（CIO4）2]2·2H2Owas synthesized and characterized, where, TATP=1,4,8,9-tetraazatriphenylene, and L-Leu=L-leucinate. The complex was crystallized in the triclinic space group P1, with two independent molecules in a unit cell. Two Cu（Ⅱ） ions in each complex [Cu2（TATP）2（L-Leu）2（CIO4）2] molecule were found to be in different coordination geometries, i.e., Cu2 or Cu4 of a distorted square-pyramidal geometry coordinated with two nitrogens of TATP, the amino nitrogen and one carboxylate oxygen of L-Leu and one oxygen of perchlorate, and Cul or Cu3 with an octahedral geometry coordinated with the above stated similar coordinated atoms, and another carboxylate oxygen of L-Leu coordinating to Cu2 or Cu4. The complex can interact with CT-DNA by an intercalative mode and cleave pBR322 DNA in the presence of ascorbate.

The title coordination polymer, [Co（1,4-ndc）（L）（H2O）]n 1 （1,4-H2ndc = 1,4-na- phthalenedicarboxylic acid and L =1-（5-（1H-imidazol- 1-yl）pentyl）- 1H-imidazole） has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by IR and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/n with a = 12.4333（12）, b = 13.2963（13）, c = 13.4678（13）A, α =β = 90°, y =107.302（2）°, V= 2125.7（4）A^3, Z = 4, CoC22H22N4O5, Mr = 481.37, De = 1.504 g/cm^3, F（000） = 996, μ（MoKa） = 0.850 mm^-1, R = 0.0472 and wR = 0.0984. Compound 1 exhibits a two-dimensional layer structure. The O-H...O and C-H...O hydrogen bonds stabilize the structure of 1.     

[（phen）2Mn2（μ—O）（μ—Ac）2（H2O2）]（ClO4）2·4H2O双核锰？…

MnAc3.2H2O在pH=4.0的HAc-NaAc缓冲溶液中和邻菲罗啉(phen)反应, 制得了双核锰(Ⅲ)合物[(phen)2Mn2(μ-O)(μ-Ac)2 (H2O)2](ClO4)2.H2O, 并进行了红外光谱表征. X射线单晶衍射表明, 该晶体属单斜晶系, 空间群P21/n, 晶胞参数: a=1.025 28(5) nm, b=1.792 75(9) nm, c=1.984 14(10) nm, β=94.843 0(10)°, V=3.634 0(3) nm3, Z=4, Dc=1.669 g.cm-3. 紫外可见光谱在480 nm处有一个吸收峰. 循环伏安实验说明, 此配合物在乙腈溶液中经历了一个半可逆的一电子氧化还原过程.     

Synthesis,Structure and Properties of a Novel Copper（II）-2,2- biimidazole Complex-supported Compound： [Cu（H2biim）2] { [Cu（H2biim）2]2 [H10W12O44] }.8H2O

A new copper（II）-2,2＇-biimidazole metal-organic POMs-supported compound [Cu（H2biim）2]{[Cu（H2biim）212[H10W12O44]}＇8H2O （H2biim = 2,2＇-biimidazole） has been success- fully synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and TG. The crystal adopts space group Pi with a = 11.800（2）, b = 13.437（3）, c = 13.685（3） A, V = 1922.5（7） A3, D,. = 3.507 g/cm3, C36H62Cu3N24W12O52, M,. = 4059.92, F（000） = 1837,μ = 18.796 mm-1, Z = 1, R = 0.0579 and wR = 0.1465 for 8734 observed reflections （I 〉 2σ（I））. X-ray crystallography analysis exhibits that the title compound consists of one [H10W12044]6- polyanion and three [Cu（H2biim）2] units. And significant π-π stacking interactions and intermolecular O-H-,.O or N-H.＇-O hydrogen-bonding interactions lead to a three-dimensional supramolecular framework. Thermal stability and magnetic property of the complex have also been investigated.     

[（C6n5NO2）Pr（H2O）4]（CrMo6O24H6）·（C6H5NO2）·2．5H2O的合成与晶体结构

用常规合成方法制备了基于Anderson结构阴离子的二维层状化合物[（C6n5NO2）Pr（H2O）4]（CrMo6O24H6）·（C6H5NO2）·2．5H2O,通过红外光谱和X射线单晶衍射对其进行了表征．结果表明,该化合物属于单斜晶系,C2/c空间群．a=2．3442（9）nm,b=1．3291（5）nm,c=2．458（1）nm,β=103．08（1）°,V=7．460（5）nm^3,R1=0．0727,wR2=0．1903．结构分析表明,[CrMo6O24H6]^3-阴离子通过端氧担载一个配位的Pr^3＋离子形成中性的（C6H5NO2）Pr（H2O）4（CrMo6O24H6）基团,相邻的中性基团在O1-Pr-O1桥联下形成一维链,链与链又通过异烟酸的桥联形成二维层状结构．
