The problem of making the output of a discrete-time linear system totally insensitive to an exogenous input signal known with preview is tackled in the geometric approach context. A necessary and sufficient condition for exact decoupling with stability in the presence of finite preview is introduced, where the structural aspects and the stabilizability aspects are considered separately. On the assumption that structural decoupling is feasible, internal stabilizability of the minimal self-bounded controlled invariant satisfying the structural constraint guarantees the stability of the dynamic feedforward compensator. However, if the structural decoupling is feasible, but is not internally stabilizable, exact decoupling is nonetheless achievable with a stable feedforward compensator on the sole assumption that has no unassignable internal eigenvalues on the unit circle, provided that the signal to be rejected is known with infinite preview. An algorithmic framework based on steering-along-zeros techniques, completely devised in the time domain, shows how to compute the convolution profile of the feedforward compensator in each case. In this paper, existing stability robustness measures for the perturbation of both continuous-time and discrete-time systems are reviewed. Optimized robustness bounds for discrete-time systems are derived. These optimized bounds are obtained reducing the conservatism of existing bounds by (a) using the structural information on the perturbation and (b) changing the system coordinates via a properly chosen similarity transformation matrix. Numerical examples are used to illustrate the proposed reduced conservatism bounds.  相似文献

Abstract

This work focuses on stability of regime-switching discrete-time systems with delays. Two-time-scale formulation is used for the purpose of reduction of complexity. It is demonstrated that associated with the original system, there is a limit system that is a switching diffusion process. An interesting problem is concerned with if the stability of the limit switching diffusion process can be carried over to the original system. This question is answered in the article. Furthermore, path excursion, mean recurrence time, and the associated error bounds are considered.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the optimal control of a class of nonlinear time-delay systems affected by external persistent disturbances. A feedforward and feedback optimal control (FFOC) law, consisting of analytical linear feedforward and feedback terms and the limit of a compensation sequence, is obtained by a successive approximation approach (SAA). In order to obtain a physically realizable feedforward control, a disturbance observer is introduced in the exosystem. Simulation results demonstrate the validity of the SAA and the robustness of the FFOC. Communicated by Q. C. For discrete-time systems, an H 2-suboptimal control problem is defined and analyzed. Then, an algorithm called H 2-suboptimal state feedback gain sequence (Algorithm A1) is developed. Rather than utilizing a perturbation method, which is numerically stiff and computationally prohibitive, Algorithm A1 utilizes a direct eigenvalue assignment method to come up with a sequence of H 2-suboptimal state feedback gains. Also, although the sequence of H 2-suboptimal state feedback gains constructed by Algorithm A1 depends on a parameter , the construction procedure itself does not require explicitly the value of the parameter . Next, attention is focused on constructing a sequence of H 2-suboptimal estimator-based measurement feedback controllers. Three different estimator structures (prediction, current, and reduced-order estimators) are considered. For a given H 2-suboptimal state feedback gain, a sequence of estimator gains for any of the three estimators considered can be constructed by merely dualizing Algorithm A1. The direct method of constructing H 2-suboptimal controllers developed here has a number of advantages over the perturbation method, e.g., it has the ability to design all three types of estimator-based controllers while still maintaining throughout the design the computational simplicity of it. This paper is the discrete-time version of Ref. 1. There are some conceptual similarities as well as fundamental differences between the H 2-suboptimal control problems for continuous-time and discrete-time systems. The fundamental differences arise mainly from the fact that, in contrast to continuous-time systems, for discrete-time systems the infimum of the H 2-norm over the class of strictly proper controllers is in general different from the infimum of the H 2-norm over the class of proper controllers.  相似文献

This paper deals with the issues of robust stability for uncertain discrete-time switched systems with mode-dependent time delays.Based on a novel difference inequality and a switched Lyapunov function,new delay-dependent stability criteria are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) which are not contained in known literature.A numerical example is given to demonstrate that the proposed criteria improves some existing results significantly with much less computational effort.  相似文献

This paper addresses the suboptimal regulator design problem of a discrete-time jump linear system by using a time-multiplied performance index. For a given state feedback control with constant gain matrices, the time-multiplied performance index is derived and a necessary condition for such a control to minimize the time-multiplied cost is provided. A gradient-based algorithm to find a suboptimal control law is developed and some numerical results are given to show the usefulness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

Abstract

The problem of the mean square exponential stability for a class of discrete-time linear stochastic systems subject to independent random perturbations and Markovian switching is investigated. The case of the linear systems whose coefficients depend both to present state and the previous state of the Markov chain is considered. Three different definitions of the concept of exponential stability in mean square are introduced and it is shown that they are not always equivalent. One definition of the concept of mean square exponential stability is done in terms of the exponential stability of the evolution defined by a sequence of linear positive operators on an ordered Hilbert space. The other two definitions are given in terms of different types of exponential behavior of the trajectories of the considered system. In our approach the Markov chain is not prefixed. The only available information about the Markov chain is the sequence of probability transition matrices and the set of its states. In this way one obtains that if the system is affected by Markovian jumping the property of exponential stability is independent of the initial distribution of the Markov chain.

The definition expressed in terms of exponential stability of the evolution generated by a sequence of linear positive operators, allows us to characterize the mean square exponential stability based on the existence of some quadratic Lyapunov functions.

The results developed in this article may be used to derive some procedures for designing stabilizing controllers for the considered class of discrete-time linear stochastic systems in the presence of a delay in the transmission of the data.  相似文献

We study the dynamics of a piecewise (in time) distributed optimal control problem for Generalized MHD equations which model velocity tracking coupled to magnetic field over time. The long-time behavior of solutions for an optimal distributed control problem associated with the Generalized MHD equations is studied. First, a quasi-optimal solution for the Generalized MHD equations is constructed; this quasi-optimal solution possesses the decay (in time) properties. Then, some preliminary estimates for the long-time behavior of all solutions of Generalized MHD equations are derived. Next, the existence of a solution of optimal control problemis proved also optimality system is derived. Finally, the long-time decay properties for the optimal solutions is established.  相似文献

This paper considers the output feedback guaranteed cost controller design problem for uncertain discrete-time systems. The uncertainty is assumed to be of linear fractional form, unstructured, and is allowed to be time-varying. It is proved that the existence of a guaranteed cost controller is equivalent to the feasibility of a certain linear matrix inequality (LMI), and that a full-order output feedback controller can be constructed in terms of the feasible solution to the LMI. Furthermore, a convex optimization problem is introduced for the selection of a suitable controller minimizing a specified cost bound.  相似文献

This paper studies the output feedback guaranteed cost control for a class of uncertain discrete-time systems. The uncertainty is of the linear fractional form. A new relaxed LMI condition is given based on a recently developed stability condition. An extra variable is introduced to obtain a less conservative result.
