The article mainly explores the Hopf bifurcation of a kind of nonlinear system with Gaussian white noise excitation and bounded random parameter. Firstly, the nonlinear system with multisource stochastic factors is reduced to an equivalent deterministic nonlinear system by the sequential orthogonal decomposition method and the Karhunen–Loeve (K-L) decomposition theory. Secondly, the critical conditions about the Hopf bifurcation of the equivalent deterministic system are obtained. At the same time the influence of multisource stochastic factors on the Hopf bifurcation for the proposed system is explored. Finally, the theorical results are verified by the numerical simulations.  相似文献

The Laguerre polynomial approximation method is applied to study the stochastic period-doubling bifurcation of a double-well stochastic Duffing system with a random parameter of exponential probability density function subjected to a harmonic excitation. First, the stochastic Duffing system is reduced into its equivalent deterministic one, solvable by suitable numerical methods. Then nonlinear dynamical behavior about stochastic period-doubling bifurcation can be fully explored. Numerical simulations show that similar to the conventional period-doubling phenomenon in the deterministic Duffing system, stochastic period-doubling bifurcation may also occur in the stochastic Duffing system, but with its own stochastic modifications. Also, unlike the deterministic case, in the stochastic case the intensity of the random parameter should also be taken as a new bifurcation parameter in addition to the conventional bifurcation parameters, i.e. the amplitude and the frequency of harmonic excitation.  相似文献

Many neurological diseases are known to be caused by bifurcations induced by a change in the values of one or more regulating parameter of nervous systems. The bifurcation control may have potential applications in the diagnosis and therapy of these dynamical diseases. In this paper, a washout filter-aided dynamic feedback controller composed of the linear term and the nonlinear cubic term is employed to control the onset of Hopf bifurcation in the Morris–Lecar (M–L) neuron model with type I. It is shown that the linear term determines the location of the Hopf bifurcation, while the nonlinear cubic term regulates the criticality of the Hopf bifurcation, preventing it from occurring in a certain range of the externally applied current. The relationships among the externally applied current, the linear control gain and the reciprocal of the filter time constant are further systematically analyzed, which help to make the best choice from the feasible parameter space to achieve our control task. Simulation results are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.  相似文献

本文研究van der Pol-Duffing型的非线性振子在随机干扰和随机参数联合作用下的Hopf分叉现象。本文所得结果证实了当系统处在于Hopf分叉点附近时,对系统的参数的变化具有敏感性。在研究过程中,我们利用Markov扩散过程逼近系统的随机响应,得到了沿稳定矩的概率1稳定和矩稳定的条件。对于非线性振子,我们得到了振幅过程的稳态概论密度函数。研究发现,确定性系统的Hopf分叉点在随机参数作用下具有漂移现象,这种漂移是由系统的性质所决定的,当分叉点为超临界的,分叉点向前漂移;而当分叉点为亚临界时,这种漂移是向后的。当系统处在外部随机干扰作用下时,系统出现非零响应。另外我们发现,稳态矩的分叉与其阶数无关。  相似文献

The stochastic Hopf bifurcation of multi-degree-of-freedom (MDOF) quasi-integrable Hamiltonian systems with multi-time-delayed feedback control subject to wide-band noise excitations is studied. First, the time-delayed feedback control forces are expressed approximately in terms of the system state variables without time delay and the system is converted into an ordinary quasi-integrable Hamiltonian system. The averaged It? stochastic differential equations are derived by using the stochastic averaging method for quasi-integrable Hamiltonian systems. Then the expression for average bifurcation parameter of the averaged system is obtained approximately and a criterion for determining the stochastic Hopf bifurcation induced by time-delayed feedback control forces in the original system using average bifurcation parameter is proposed. An example is worked out in detail to illustrate the criterion and its validity and to show the effect of time delay in feedback control on stochastic Hopf bifurcation of the system.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate nonlinear dynamical responses of two-degree-of-freedom airfoil (TDOFA) models driven by harmonic excitation under uncertain disturbance. Firstly, based on the deterministic airfoil models under the harmonic excitation, we introduce stochastic TDOFA models with the uncertain disturbance as Gaussian white noise. Subsequently, we consider the amplitude–frequency characteristic of deterministic airfoil models by the averaging method, and also the stochastic averaging method is applied to obtain the mean-square response of given stochastic TDOFA systems analytically. Then, we carry out numerical simulations to verify the effectiveness of the obtained analytic solution and the influence of harmonic force on the system response is studied. Finally, stochastic jump and bifurcation can be found through the random responses of system, and probability density function and time history diagrams can be obtained via Monte Carlo simulations directly to observe the stochastic jump and bifurcation. The results show that noise can induce the occurrence of stochastic jump and bifurcation, which will have a significant impact on the safety of aircraft.  相似文献

对超混沌系统进行分岔反控制的研究已成为当前一个重要研究方向,常采用线性控制器实现反控制。首先,对一个四维超混沌系统的Hopf分岔特性进行了分析,利用高维分岔理论推导出分岔特性与参数之间的关系式,以此判断系统的分岔类型。然后,设计一个由线性与非线性组合成的混合控制器对系统进行分岔反控制,控制参数取值不同时,系统会呈现出不同的分岔特性。通过分析得出,调控线性控制器参数可以使系统Hopf分岔提前或延迟发生;同时,调控混合控制器的两个控制参数,可以改变系统Hopf分岔特性,实现分岔反控制。  相似文献

The main transmission system of a scraper conveyor direct-driven by the high-power permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is taken as a study object. With the effect of the nonlinear friction torque caused by the nonuniformity of the transported coal quality in the operation process considered, the torsional vibration bifurcation mechanism and the corresponding control measures for the main transmission system of the scraper conveyor are investigated. Firstly, based on the Lagrange–Maxwell principle, the global electromechanical-coupling dynamic models for the main transmission system of the scraper conveyor are constructed. Secondly, by the Routh–Hurwitz stability criterion, the Hopf bifurcation characteristics of the main transmission system are analyzed to reveal the influence of supercritical bifurcation and subcritical bifurcation on the torsional oscillation of the transmission shafting. Thirdly, in order to suppress the system unstable oscillation caused by the Hopf bifurcation, the motor speed is fed back to construct the nonlinear state feedback controller for the quadrature axis current of the PMSM by the \(I_{d}=0\) vector control strategy. Similarly, on the basis of the Routh–Hurwitz criterion, the influence of the linear feedback coefficient in the nonlinear state feedback controller on the system bifurcation position is discussed. Meanwhile, by the central manifold theory and canonical form theory, the effect of the square and cubic nonlinear feedback coefficients on the Hopf bifurcation type of the torsional vibration and the amplitude of the stable limit cycle are investigated. Finally, the numerical simulation results show the effectiveness of the designed controller.  相似文献

Time-delay feedback control of container cranes is robustly stable and insensitive to initial conditions for most of the linearly stable region. To better understand this robustness and any limitations of the technique, we undertake a nonlinear analysis of the system. To this end, we develop a nonlinear model of the crane system by modeling the crane-hoist-payload assembly as a double pendulum. Then, we derive a linear approximation specific to this model. Finally, we derive a cubic model of the dynamics for nonlinear analysis. Using linear analysis, we determine the gain and time delay factors for stabilizing controllers. Also, we show that the controller undergoes a Hopf bifurcation at the linear stability boundary. Using the method of multiple scales on the cubic model, we determine the normal form of the Hopf bifurcation. We then show that for practical operating ranges, the controller undergoes a supercritical bifurcation that helps explain the robustness of the controller.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a nonlinear discrete-time control system with regular and chaotic dynamics forced by stochastic disturbances. The problem addressed is the design of the feedback regulator which stabilizes a limit cycle of the closed-loop deterministic system and synthesizes a required dispersion of random states for the corresponding stochastic system. To solve this problem, we propose a new method based on the stochastic sensitivity function technique. This function approximates a dispersion of random states distributed around deterministic cycle. Explicit formulas for the intercoupling between stochastic sensitivity function and considered system parameters are worked out. The problem of the design of the required stochastic sensitivity function for cycles by feedback regulators is solved. Coefficients of the feedback regulator are constructed and corresponding attainability sets are described. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated on the stochastic Verhulst model. It is shown that constructed regulators provide a low level of sensitivity and suppress chaotic oscillations.  相似文献

This paper studies the dynamics of a maglev system around 1:3 resonant Hopf–Hopf bifurcations. When two pairs of purely imaginary roots exist for the corresponding characteristic equation, the maglev system has an interaction of Hopf–Hopf bifurcations at the intersection of two bifurcation curves in the feedback control parameter and time delay space. The method of multiple time scales is employed to drive the bifurcation equations for the maglev system by expressing complex amplitudes in a combined polar-Cartesian representation. The dynamics behavior in the vicinity of 1:3 resonant Hopf–Hopf bifurcations is studied in terms of the controller’s parameters (time delay and two feedback control gains). Finally, numerical simulations are presented to support the analytical results and demonstrate some interesting phenomena for the maglev system.  相似文献

In this paper, we show that a state feedback method, which has successfully been used to control unstable steady states or periodic orbits, provides a tool to control the Hopf bifurcation for a novel congestion control model, i.e., the exponential RED algorithm with a single link and single source. We choose the gain parameter as the bifurcation parameter. Without control, the bifurcation will occur early; meanwhile, the model can maintain a stationary sending rate only in a certain domain of the gain parameter. However, outside of this domain the model still possesses a stable sending rate that can be guaranteed by the state feedback control, and the onset of the undesirable Hopf bifurcation is postponed. Numerical simulations are given to justify the validity of the state feedback controller in the bifurcation control.  相似文献

Van der Pol–Duffing oscillator, which can be used a model for many dynamical system, has been widely concerned. However, most of the systems by scholars are either stable steady states or limit cycles. Here, the self-sustained oscillator with the coexistence of steady state and limit cycles, which is famous for describing the flutter of airfoils with large span ratio in low-speed wind tunnels, is treated in this paper. Using the energy balance method, the deterministic bifurcation of the tristable system with time-delay feedback is investigated. The presence of time-delay feedback expands the bifurcation range of the parameters, making the bifurcation phenomenon more abundant. In addition, according to the stationary probability density function obtained by the stochastic averaging method, stochastic bifurcation of the system with time-delay feedback and noise is explored theoretically. The numerical results confirm the correctness of the theoretical analysis. Transition between the unimodal structure, the bimodal structure and the trimodal structure is found. Many rich bifurcations are available by adjusting the time-delay and noise intensity, which may be conductive to achieve the desired phenomenon in the real-world application.

In this paper, bifurcation theory is employed to classify different dynamical behaviors arising in an underactuated mechanical system subject to bounded controls. The methodology is applied to an inertia wheel pendulum consisting of a simple pendulum with a rotating disk at the end. Restricting the magnitude of the control action places an important obstacle to the design of a continuous controller capable of swinging-up and stabilize the pendulum at the inverted position: the arm only can reach that position by means of oscillations of increasing amplitude. The controller is derived from a simple nonlinear state-feedback law, followed by a saturating device that limits the maximum amplitude of the control action applied to the system. This bound gives birth to a rich dynamical behavior, including pitchfork and Hopf bifurcations of equilibria, saddle-node bifurcations of periodic orbits, homoclinic and heteroclinic bifurcations. The global dynamics is analyzed in terms of certain control gains and a two-parameter bifurcation diagram is derived. It is shown that the dynamics on this bifurcation diagram is organized in a pair of codimension-two rotationally symmetric bifurcation points. Finally, it is found out that when the control gains lie on a certain region in the parameter space simultaneous stabilization of the upright position together with a large basin of attraction is obtained. Simulation results show that almost global stabilization of the system can be achieved.  相似文献

This paper undertakes an analysis of a double Hopf bifurcation of a maglev system with time-delayed feedback. At the intersection point of the Hopf bifurcation curves in velocity feedback control gain and time delay space, the maglev system has a codimension 2 double Hopf bifurcation. To gain insight into the periodic solution which arises from the double Hopf bifurcation and the unfolding, we calculate the normal form of double Hopf bifurcation using the method of multiple scales. Numerical simulations are carried out with two pairs of feedback control parameters, which show different unfoldings of the maglev system and we verify the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

众所周知,平面自治系统即使具有光滑非线性存在,系统也不会出现复杂的动力学行为。本文研究这样的系统存在时滞时,时滞量对系统的动力学行为的影响。通过对一个平面自治非线性系统引入时滞反馈,得到数学模型。利用泛函分析和平均法建立系统平衡态随时滞量变化的失稳机理,研究表明:时滞量平面自治系统动力学行为的影响是本质的.时滞量不但可以使系统出现Hopf分岔,产生周期振动。而且还可以使系统出现多稳态的周期运动或周期吸引子,这些共存的吸引子相碰是导致系统复杂的动力学行为,包括概周期和混沌运动。  相似文献
