The thermotropic phase solid–solid transitions compound (n-C n H2n+1NH3)2ZnCl4 (n = 14, 16, 18) were studied, and a series of their mixtures were prepared. These laminar materials contain bilayers sandwiched between metal halide layers. The low temperature crystal structures of the pure salts are characteristic of the piling of sandwiches in which a two-dimensional macro-anion ZnCl4 2− is sandwiched between two alkylammonium layers. These layers become conformationally disordered in the high temperature phases. The subsolidus binary phase diagrams of (n-C14H29NH3)2ZnCl4-(n-C18H37NH3)2ZnCl4 and (n-C16H33NH3)2ZnCl4-(n-C18H37NH3)2ZnCl4 were established by differential thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction. In each phase diagram, an intermediate compound and two eutectoid invariants were observed. There are three noticeable solid solution ranges (α, β, γ) at the left boundary, right boundary, and middle of the phase diagram.  相似文献

Structure optimizations of the thiophene carbon–sulfur H2(C2S) n C2H2 (n = 1–20) were carried out using density functional theory calculations at the B3LYP/6-31G(d) level. The B3LYP/6-31G(d) geometrical data for heptamer H2(C2S)7C2H2 and undecamer H2(C2S)11C2H2 are in good agreement with the X-ray crystallographic data for the helical (C2S)n β-heptathiophene and β-undecathiophene, respectively. Structural and electronic properties of helical oligothiophenes obtained at the B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p)//B3LYP/6-31G(d) level are reported. The strain energy formula of n oligothiophenes as a linear function of their molecular length was obtained.  相似文献

The method of synthesis of the hitherto unknown class of organosilicon compounds, phenyl(acyloxy)fluorosilanes C6H5Si(OCOR) n F3−n (n = 1, 2) and phenyl(acyloxy)fluorochlorosilanes C6H5Si(OCOR) FCl in up to 91% yield has been developed based on the reaction of phenyl(fluoro)chlorosilanes C6H5SiCl n F3−n (n = 1, 2) with trimethylsilyl esters of carboxylic acids Me3SiOC(O)R [R = H, CH3, CF3, CCl3, ClCH2, BrCH2, CH2=CHCH3, CH2=CHPh, CH(CH3)=CH2, Ph].  相似文献

A novel inorganic-organic hybrid complex, [Nd [Nd (C6NO2H5)3(H2O)2]2n · (nH5O2)(nHgCl5)(2nHgCl4) · (nH2O)(1), was obtained by hydrothermal reactions and structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction. The unit cell parameters are as follows: a = 9.579(1), b = 21.462(2), c = 15.801(1) ?, β = 102.339(6), V = 3173.5(5) ?3, Z = 4, space group P21/c. The crystal structure analysis reveals that the title complex is characteristic of a novel polycationic [Nd(C6NO2H5)3(H2O)2]2n 6n+ one-dimensional chain-like structure. Photoluminescent investigation shows that the title complex displays strong emission in blue region, which is attributed to the intraligand π-π*-transition of nicotinic ligands. Optical absorption spectra of 1 reveal the presence of an optical gap of 3.45 eV. The article is published in the original.  相似文献

A density functional theory (DFT) investigation on novel sandwich-type D 5 [C5Li5]Mg n [C5Li5] (n = 2–8) complexes containing –Mg–Mg– chain has been performed in this work. The equilibrium geometries, electronic structures, vibrational frequencies, and stabilities of these complexes are researched by B3LYP and BP86 methods at 6-311+G(d) levels of theory. The Mg n 2+ sandwich complexes with D 5 symmetry are all true minima on the potential energy surface. NBO analyses for the series of complexes reveal that the Mg–Mg bond is a weak σ covalent bond. There are mainly electrostatic interactions between C5Li5 ligands and Mg n 2+(n = 2–8) nuclear in these complexes. The NICS and NICSzz computed with GIAO-B3LYP/6-311+G(d) indicates that the C5Li5 rings in the series of complexes are aromatic. These novel complexes turn out to be strongly thermodynamically favored in the gas phases and may be targeted in future experiments to expand the structural domain of sandwich-type complexes.  相似文献

The crystals of Ba2[Cu(Edtp)](ClO4)2 · 5H2O (i) contain the tetragonal-pyramidal complexes of Cu(II) with ethylenediaminetetra-3-propionate ion with one noncoordinated propionate group. The [Cu(Edtp)]2− complex ions and two sorts of the Ba atoms form two-dimensional supramolecular aggregate. Two Ba(1) atoms and one Cu atom form a tetramer by means of the coordinated carboxyl group and a free propionate group. The tetramers are united through the propionate group into ribbons, which are joined by the Ba(2) atoms into the layers. The coordination sphere of each B atom involves four water molecules, including two bridging water molecules. The perchlorate ions are also coordinated by the Ba atoms, one Ba atom acting as a bridge. The structure of the previously studied Ba2[Cu(Edta)](ClO4)2 · 6H2O (II) crystals with the hexadentate ethylenediaminetetraacetate ion is shown to be similar to that of complex I, but in the case of II, the Ba atoms are equivalent as regards the number of the complex anions bound to them. The structures of earlier synthesized Pb(II) complexes with closo-BnH n 2− (n = 6, 10, 12) anions and their derivatives are analyzed in terms of M-B and M-H-B distances and MHB angles. In all of the complexes, the metal-ligand bonds are due to pure (MHB)-, (MHB)-2, or (MHB)3-type multicenter interactions or their combination. The existence of straight M-B bonds (M-B(H) type) along with the above interactions was deduced only for the lead(II) complex with the closo-hexaborate anion. Original Russian Text ? E.A. The electrical resistivity and Hall factor in n-CdAs2, p-ZnAs2, and n-Cd x Zn1 − x As2 were measured at hydrostatic pressures up to 9 GPa and quasi-hydrostatic pressures up to 50 GPa at room temperature. For n-CdAs2, a phase transition was discovered at p = 5.5 GPa; for p-ZnAs2, two phase transitions were discovered: one at P = 10–15 GPa and the other at p = 35–40 GPa. The thermal neutron cross-sections and resonance integrals of the 186W (n,γ) 187W and 98Mo (n,γ) 99Mo reactions in the thermal and 1/E regions, respectively, of a thermal reactor neutron spectrum have been experimentally determined by the activation method using 197Au (n,γ) 198Au reaction as a single comparator. The high purity natural W, Mo, and Zr foils; and Au wire diluted in aluminum, were irradiated without Cd shield in two neutron irradiation sites, characterized with different values for the thermal-to-epithermal flux ratios, f at the Second Egyptian Research Reactor (ETRR-2). The induced activities in the samples were measured by high-resolution γ-ray spectrometry with a calibrated germanium detector. Thermal neutron cross-sections for 2200 m/s neutrons and resonance integrals for the 186W (n,γ) 187W and 98Mo (n,γ) 99Mo reactions have been obtained relative to the reference values, σ0 = 98.65 ± 0.09 b and I 0 = 1500 ± 28 b for the 197Au (n,γ) 198Au reaction. The necessary correction factors for thermal neutron and resonance neutron self-shielding effects, and the epithermal flux index (α) were taken into account in the determinations. The results obtained were: σ0 = 38.43 ± 0.4 b and I 0 = 502 ± 65 b for 186W (n,γ) 187W, and σ0 = 0.137 ± 0.014 band I 0 = 6.47 ± 0.8 for 98Mo (n,γ) 99Mo. These results are discussed and compared with previous measurements and evaluated data in literature. The traditional method of determining thermal cross-sections and resonance integrals via neutron irradiation with and without Cd shield in one irradiation position was avoided in this work by neutron irradiation without Cd shield in at least two different neutron irradiation positions. This method provides alternative way for determining thermal cross-sections and resonance integrals simultaneously.  相似文献

Geometry optimizations were performed on monoanionic and dianionic clusters of sulfate anions with carbon dioxide, SO4−1/−2(CO2) n , for n = 1–4, using the B3PW91 density functional method with the 6-311 + G(3df) basis set. Limited calculations were carried out with the CCSD(T) and MP2 methods. Binding energies, as well as adiabatic and vertical electron detachment energies, were calculated. No covalent bonding is seen for monoanionic clusters, with O3SO–CO2 bond distances between 2.8 and 3.0 ?. Dianionic clusters show covalent bonding of type [O3S–O–CO2]−2, [O3S–O–C(O)O–CO2]−2, and [O2C–O–S(O2)–O–CO2]−2, where one or two oxygens of SO4−2 are shared with CO2. Starting with n = 2, the dianionic clusters become adiabatically more stable than the corresponding monoanionic ones. Comparison with SO4−1/−2(SO2) n and CO3−1/−2(SO2) n clusters, the binding energies are smaller for the present SO4−1/−2(CO2) n systems, while stabilization of the dianion occurs at n = 2 for both SO4−2(CO2) n and SO4−2(SO2) n , but only at n = 3 for CO3−2(SO2) n .  相似文献

The structures of the zinc(II) complexes feature five-coordinate zinc atoms, (-1,1) azido bridges, monodentate organic ligands, and 1D chains. The cadmium(II) azide complexes contain distorted octahedral metal atoms linked by alternate di-(-1,1) and di-(-1,3) azido bridges in cis arrangement and these chains are connected by 2picNO bridges giving a honeycomb 2D framework or by 4Mepym bridges forming extended 2D network structure.  相似文献

The structural and thermodynamic properties of oligomeric anions [M n X3n+ 1] (M = Al, Ga, In; X = F, Cl, Br, I; n = 2, 3, 4) have been obtained by the density functional theory B3LYP method with the LAN2DZ(d) and LAN2DZ(d)+ basis sets. A wide diversity of structural isomers was found for trimeric fluoride anions M3F10. Among the trimers, except In3F10, the most stable is a linear isomer composed of two MX3 molecules coordinated to the MX4 anion. The formation of tetrameric anions M4X13 was demonstrated to be thermodynamically allowed at low temperatures at MX3: X > 4: 1. The existence of higher oligomers is less probable. The affinity of oligomer halides (MX3) n for halide ions increases with an increase in n. The propensity to form oligomeric anions decreases in the series F > Cl ≥ Br > I. The fluoride systems show a tendency to form structures with CN = 5 and 6, these structures for In being the most stable. Original Russian Text ? A.Yu. A novel bimetallic 4f-3d metal-isonicotinic acid inorganic-organic hybrid complex [Tb0.5(C6NO2H5)3(H2O)2]2n ·(H3O)4n (ZnCl5) n (ZnCl4)2n (1) is synthesized. The novel seven-coordinate complex [(n-Bu)2Sn(C10H8N2O3)(C2H5OH)]2 (C10H8N2O32- is the dinegative ion of 2-oxo-propionic acid benzoyl hydrazone) was synthesized by the reaction of (n-Bu)2SnO with 2-oxo-propionic acid benzoyl hydrazone in 1∶1 molar ratio in benzene-ethanol (V/V, 3/1), and its structure was characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The crystal belongs to a tetragonal system with space group I41/a, a=2.4890(2)nm, b=2.4890(2)nm, c=1.5170(3)nm, V=9.398(2)nm3, Z=8, F(000)=3968, Dc=1.366g·cm-3, and the structure was refined to final R1=0.0530, wR2=0.0971. The structure of the title complex is described as a dimer through weak interactions of Sn…O bonding and hydrogen bond. The tin atoms rendered sev-en-coordination in a distorted pentagonal bipyramid geometry structure, four oxygen atoms [O1, O2, O2#1 and O4] and one nitrogen atom N2 formed the equatorial plane and C11-Sn1-C15 is the axis. The molecular structure and magnetic properties of alkoxy-polyoxovanadates [VIV n VV 6−n O7(OR)12]4−n (n = 4, 3, 2) were studied within the framework of the DFT approach. The equilibrium geometric configurations of all complexes studied in this work are characterized by a distorted octahedral hexavanadate core; the unpaired d-electrons are localized on the metal centers (VIV). The localized spin density distribution is also retained in the low-temperature crystal structures of the compounds whose magnetic properties are described by the Heisenberg-Dirac-van Vleck exchange spin Hamiltonian. The exchange parameters calculated using the broken symmetry formalism suggest predominance of ferromagnetic coupling between vanadium(IV) ions in the μ-OR bridged dimeric units {VIVO(OR)VIV} and in the diagonal pairs {VIVOVIV} (n = 4). The results obtained indicate that the magnitude and sign of the exchange parameters in the isostructural dimeric units within the hexavanadate core depend on the total number of unpaired electrons in the system.  相似文献

Successively substituted Al13 cluster by B atom both neutral and anionic Al n B m  (n + m = 13) clusters have been investigated by the density functional theory (DFT) at B3LYP/6-31G (d) level, the aim is to understand the evolution of the structural and electronic properties as a function of composition. The results clearly show Al13 cluster as well as Al rich Al n B m clusters prefer the icosahedral geometries while increasing boron contents promote quasi-planar configurations. The geometrical structures of the optimized anionic Al n B m clusters are very close to those of the neutral clusters with smaller structural modifications. Overall, the vertical ionization potential (VIP), the adiabatic electron affinity (AEA), and the energy gaps (E g ) of Al n B m clusters decrease with increasing of substitution. The largest values of second-order energy differences ( \Updelta2E), VIP\Updelta_{2}E), VIP, and E g of Al12B cluster indicate it possesses the most stability among all the investigated clusters, which accords to the experimental results. The simulated photoelectron spectroscopies (PES) of Al n B m clusters have also been discussed in this article.  相似文献

Homoleptic mononuclear and binuclear ruthenium carbonyls Ru(CO) n (n = 3–5) and Ru2(CO) n (n = 8,9) have been investigated using density functional theory. Sixteen isomers are obtained. For Ru(CO)5, the lowest-energy structure is the singlet D 3h trigonal bipyramid. Similar to Os(CO)5, the distorted square pyramid isomer with C 2v symmetry lies ∼7 kJ·mol−1 higher in energy. For the unsaturated mononuclear ruthenium carbonyls Ru(CO)4 and Ru(CO)3, a singlet structure with C 2v symmetry and a C s bent T-shaped structure are the lowest-energy structures, respectively. The global minimum for the Ru2(CO)9 is a singly bridged (CO)4Ru(μ-CO)Ru(CO)4 structure. A triply bridged Ru2(CO)6(μ-CO)3 structure analogous to the known Fe2(CO)9 structure is predicted to lie very close in energy to the global minimum. For Ru2(CO)8, the doubly bridged C 2 structure is predicted to be the global minimum. For the lowest-energy structures of M2(CO) n (M = Fe, Ru, Os, n = 9,8), it is found that both iron and ruthenium are favored to form structures containing more bridging carbonyl groups, while osmium prefers to have structures with less bridging carbonyl groups. The study of dissociation energy shows that the dissociation of Ru2(CO)9 into the mononuclear fragments Ru(CO)5 + Ru(CO)4 is a less energetically demanding process than the dissociation of one carbonyl group from Ru2(CO)9 to give Ru2(CO)8.  相似文献
