We study the linear problem on the stability of rotation of a dynamically symmetric satellite about the normal to the plane of the orbit of its center of mass. The orbit is assumed to be elliptic, and the orbit eccentricity is arbitrary. We assume that the Hamiltonian contains a small parameter characterizing the deviation of the satellite central ellipsoid of inertia from the sphere. This is a resonance problem, since if the small parameter is zero, then one of the frequencies of small oscillations of the symmetry axis in a neighborhood of the unperturbed rotation of the satellite about the center of mass is exactly equal to the frequency of the satellite revolution in the orbit. We indicate a countable set of values of the angular velocity of the unperturbed rotation for which the resonance is even double. The stability and instability domains are obtained in the first approximation with respect to the small parameter.  相似文献

We study motions of a rigid body (a satellite) about the center of mass in a central Newtonian gravitational field in a circular orbit. There is a known particular motion of the satellite in which one of its principal central axes of inertia is perpendicular to the orbit plane and the satellite itself exhibits plane pendulum-like oscillations about this axis. Under the assumption that the satellite principal central moments of inertia A, B, and C satisfy the relation B = A + C corresponding to the case of a thin plate, we perform rigorous nonlinear analysis of the orbital stability of this motion.In the plane of the problem parameters, namely, the oscillation amplitude ε and the inertial parameter, there exist countably many domains of orbital stability of the satellite oscillations in the linear approximation. Nonlinear orbital stability analysis was carried out in thirteen of these domains. Isoenergetic reduction of the system of equations of the perturbed motion is performed at the energy level corresponding to the unperturbed periodic motion. Further, using the algorithm developed in [1], we construct the symplectic mapping generated by the equations of the reduced system, normalize it, and analyze the stability. We consider resonance and nonresonance cases. For small values of the oscillation amplitude, we perform analytic investigations; for arbitrary values of ε, numerical analysis is used.Earlier, numerical analysis of stability of plane pendulum-like motions of a satellite in a circular orbit was performed in several special cases in [1–4].  相似文献

Based on the complex potential approach, the two-dimensional problems in a piezoelectric material containing an elliptic hole subjected to uniform remote loads are studied. The explicit, closed-form solutions satisfying the exact electric boundary condition on the hole surface are given both inside and outside the hole. When the elliptic hole degenerates into a crack, the field intensity factors are obtained. It is shown that the stress intensity factors are the same as that of isotropic material, while the electric displacement intensity factor depends on both the material properties and the mechanical loads, but not on the electric loads. In other words, the uniform electric loads have no influence on the field singularities. It is also shown that the impermeable crack assumption used previously to simply the electric condition is not valid to crack problems in piezoelectric materials.  相似文献

In the present paper, we use the conformal mapping z/c = ζ?2a sin ζ (a, c?const, ζ = u + iv) of the strip {|v| ≤ v 0, |u| < ∞} onto the domain D, which is a strip with symmetric periodic cuts. For the domain D, in the orthogonal system of isometric coordinates u, v, we solve the plane elasticity problem. We seek the biharmonic function in the form F = C ψ 0 + S ψ*0 + x(C ψ 1 ? S ψ 2) + y(C ψ 2 + S ψ 1), where C(v) and S(v) are the operator functions described in [1] and ψ 0(u), …, ψ 2(u) are the desired functions. The boundary conditions for the function F posed for v = ±v 0 are equivalent to two operator equations for ψ 1(u) and ψ 2(u) and to two ordinary differential equations of first order for ψ 0(u) and ψ*0(u) [2]. By finding the functions ψ j (u) in the form of trigonometric series with indeterminate coefficients and by solving the operator equations, we obtain infinite systems of linear equations for the unknown coefficients. We present an efficient method for solving these systems, which is based on studying stable recursive relations. In the present paper, we give an example of analysis of a specific strip (a = 1/4, v 0 = 1) loaded on the boundary v = v 0 by a normal load of intensity p. We find the particular solutions corresponding to the extension of the strip by the longitudinal force X and to the transverse and pure bending of the strip due to the transverse force Y and the constant moment M , respectively. We also present the graphs of normal and tangential stresses in the transverse cross-section x = 0 and study the stress concentration effect near the cut bottom.  相似文献

This paper investigates the degenerate scale problem for plane elasticity in a multiply connected region with an outer elliptic boundary. Inside the elliptic boundary, there are many voids with arbitrary configurations. The problem is studied on the relevant homogenous boundary integral equation. The suggested solution is derived from a solution of a relevant problem. It is found that the degenerate scale and the non-trivial solution along the elliptic boundary in the problem are same as in the case of a single elliptic contour without voids. The present study mainly depends on integrations of several integrals, which can be integrated in a closed form.  相似文献

This paper deals with the chaotic attitude motion of a magnetic rigid spacecraft with internal damping in an elliptic orbit. The dynamical model of the spacecraft is established. The Melnikov analysis is carried out to prove the existence of a complicated nonwandering Cantor set. The dynamical behaviors are numerically investigated by means of time history, Poincaré map, Lyapunov exponents and power spectrum. Numerical simulations demonstrate the chaotic motion of the system. The input-output feedback linearization method and its modified version are applied, respectively, to control the chaotic attitude motions to the given fixed point or periodic motion. We consider an elastic inclusion embedded in a particular class of harmonic materials subjected to uniform remote stress. Using complex variable techniques, we show that if the Piola stress within the inclusion is uniform, the inclusion is necessarily an ellipse except in the special case when the (uniform) remote stress assumes a particular form. The problem of an elliptic inclusion embedded in an infinite matrix subjected to a uniform magnetic induction is considered in this paper. Basing upon the two-dimensional magnetoelastic formulation, the technique of conformal mapping, and the method of analytical continuation, a general solution of magnetic field quantities and the magnetoelastic stresses are obtained for both the matrix and the inclusion. Comparison is made with several special cases of which the analytical solutions can be found in the literature, which shows that the solutions presented here are general and exact. Moreover, the magnetoelastic stresses at the interface between the inclusion and the matrix are presented with figures.  相似文献

The problem of cracks with an elliptic hole in an infinite plane is investigated. By introducing the fictitious loads on the hole edge and using the Muskhelishvili method, the problem is reduced to solving a system of mixed-type integral equations in which some are Fredholm equations but others Cauchy-type singular ones. A numerical method is suggested and can be used for the treatment of other similar equations. The numerical results for some typical examples are given, showing that the method is really effective.  相似文献

Summary A report on the steady-state stress and displacement fields arising in an indefinite, elliptically-holed cilindrical body containing a line heat source. The case of an adiabatically-walled hole is examined and some numerical results are given for this as well as for the case of hole with a constant-temperature surface.

基于复变函数的方法,以PZT-4材料为例,分别采用精确电边界条件和非导通电边界条件进行了远场均匀载荷作用下的横观各向同性压电体椭圆孔的力学分析并与相关结果进行对比。结果表明当椭圆孔退化为圆孔时,无论在远场作用力载荷或电载荷,两种电边界条件下的结果均能完全吻合。随着椭圆孔的愈加尖锐化,非导通电边界条件逐渐不能适用。  相似文献
