The aim of this paper is to define new generating functions. By applying a derivative operator and the Mellin transformation to these generating functions, we define q-analogue of the Genocchi zeta function, q-analogue Hurwitz type Genocchi zeta function, and q-Genocchi type l-function. We define partial zeta function. By using this function, we construct p-adic interpolation functions which interpolate generalized q-Genocchi numbers at negative integers. We also define p-adic meromorphic functions on Cp. Furthermore, we construct new generating functions of q-Hardy-Berndt type sums and q-Hardy-Berndt type sums attached to Dirichlet character. We also give some new relations, related to these sums.  相似文献

In this note we give a new proof of Witt's formula for Euler numbers, which are related to some known or new identities involving the Euler numbers. We also obtain a brief proof of a classical result on Euler numbers modulo of two due to M.A. Stern using the approach of p-adic integration, which was recently proved by G. Liu, and Z.-W. Sun. Finally some explicit formulas for Genocchi numbers are proved and applications are given.  相似文献

We define a tournament to be alternation acyclic if it does not contain a cycle in which descents and ascents alternate. Using a result by Athanasiadis on hyperplane arrangements, we show that these tournaments are counted by the median Genocchi numbers. By establishing a bijection with objects defined by Dumont, we show that alternation acyclic tournaments in which at least one ascent begins at each vertex, except for the largest one, are counted by the Genocchi numbers of the first kind. Unexpected consequences of our results include a pair of ordinary generating function formulas for the Genocchi numbers of both kinds and a simple model for the normalized median Genocchi numbers.  相似文献

Using the generating functions, we prove some symmetry identities for the Euler polynomials and higher order Euler polynomials, which generalize the multiplication theorem for the Euler polynomials. Also we obtain some relations between the Bernoulli polynomials, Euler polynomials, power sum, alternating sum and Genocchi numbers.  相似文献

By using partial differential equations (PDEs) of the generating functions for the unification of the Bernoulli, Euler and Genocchi polynomials and numbers, we derive many new identities and recurrence relations for these polynomials and numbers. In [33], Srivastava et al. defined a unified presentation of certain meromorphic functions related to the families of the partial zeta type functions. By using these functions, we construct p-adic functions which are related to the partial zeta type functions. By applying these p-adic function, we construct unified presentation of p-adic L-functions. These functions give us generalization of the Kubota–Leopoldt p-adic L-functions, which are related to the Bernoulli numbers and the other p-adic L-functions, which are related to the Euler numbers and polynomials. We also give some remarks and comments on these functions.  相似文献

Carlitz has introduced an interesting q-analogue of Frobenius-Euler numbers in [L. Carlitz, q-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials, Duke Math. J. 15 (1948) 987-1000; L. Carlitz, q-Bernoulli and Eulerian numbers, Trans. Amer. Math. Soc. 76 (1954) 332-350]. He has indicated a corresponding Stadudt-Clausen theorem and also some interesting congruence properties of the q-Euler numbers. A recent author's study of more general q-Euler and Genocchi numbers can be found in previous publication [T. Kim, L.C. Jang, H.K. Pak, A note on q-Euler and Genocchi numbers, Proc. Japan Acad. Ser. A Math. Sci. 77 (2001) 139-141]. In this paper we give a new construction of q-Euler numbers, which are different from Carlitz's q-extension and author's q-extension in previous publication (see [T. Kim, L.C. Jang, H.K. Pak, A note on q-Euler and Genocchi numbers, Proc. Japan Acad. Ser. A Math. Sci. 77 (2001) 139-141]). By using our q-extension of Euler numbers, we can also consider a new q-extension of Genocchi numbers and obtain some interesting relations between q-extension of Euler numbers and q-extension of Genocchi numbers.  相似文献

We prove conjectures of the third author [L. Tevlin, Proc. FPSAC’07, Tianjin] on two new bases of noncommutative symmetric functions: the transition matrices from the ribbon basis have nonnegative integral coefficients. This is done by means of two composition-valued statistics on permutations and packed words, which generalize the combinatorics of Genocchi numbers.   相似文献

We introduce and investigate generalized poly-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials. We state and prove several properties satisfied by these polynomials. The generalized poly-Bernoulli numbers are algebraic numbers. We introduce and study the Arakawa-Kaneko L-functions. The non-positive integer values of the complex variable s of these L-functions are expressed rationally in terms of generalized poly-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials. Furthermore, we prove difference and Raabe?s type formulae for these L-functions.  相似文献

We explicitly evaluate a special type of multiple Dirichlet L-values at positive integers in two different ways: One approach involves using of symmetric functions, while the other involves using of a generating function of the values. Equating these two expressions, we derive several summation formulae involving the Bernoulli and Euler numbers. We give equivalent formulations of the Erd?s-Turán conjecture on the unboundedness of the number of representations of the natural numbers by additive bases of order two of . These formulations allow for a quantitative exploration of the conjecture. They are expressed through some functions of reflecting the behavior of bases up to x. Abstract

In this paper, using geometric polynomials, we obtain a generating function of p-Bernoulli numbers in terms of harmonic numbers. As consequences of this generating function, we derive closed formulas for the finite summation of Bernoulli and harmonic numbers involving Stirling numbers of the second kind. We also give a relationship between the p-Bernoulli numbers and the generalized Bernoulli polynomials.  相似文献

In this paper we refine the well-known permutation statistic “descent” by fixing parity of (exactly) one of the descent’s numbers. We provide explicit formulas for the distribution of these (four) new statistics. We use certain differential operators to obtain the formulas. Closed expressions are obtained for sums of products of Kronecker's double series of the form , where the summation ranges over all nonnegative integers j1,…,jN with j1+?+jN=n. Corresponding results are derived for functions which are an elliptic analogue of the periodic Euler polynomials. As corollaries, we reproduce the formulas for sums of products of Bernoulli numbers, Bernoulli polynomials, Euler numbers, and Euler polynomials, which were given by K. Dilcher.  相似文献
