Pure tungstophosphoric acid, potassium tungstophosphate, and cesium tungstophosphate with varying extent of substitution of protons by Cs or K ions x (x = 1, 2, 2.5, and 3) have been prepared and are supported on silica by the wet impregnation method. The extent of loading was fixed at 20 wt %. For the sake of comparison, unloaded Cs x and K x (x = 1) salts of tungstophosphoric acid were prepared by the precipitation method. The supported catalysts were characterized by FT-IR, XRD, specific surface area measurements, and catalytic conversion of tert-butanol. The results revealed that the catalytic conversion of tert-butanol proceeds mainly via dehydration yielding isobutene. The Cs1PW/SiO2, HPW/SiO2, and K1PW/SiO2 catalysts were more active than their unsupported samples. The previous solids showed greater catalytic activity and stability. Unexpectedly, substitution of one proton of tungstophosphoric acid by a cesium or potassium ion exerted no measurable effect on the catalytic activity of the treated solids, in spite of decreasing the Brønsted acidity of Cs1PW/SiO2 and K1PW/SiO2 indicating that the acidity of HPW/SiO2 decrease may be due to the interaction between HPW and the SiO2 surface. On the other hand, significant decrease in the catalytic activity took place upon increasing the cation content (x) to x = 2, 2.5, and 3.  相似文献

Soot removal for exhaust gas from diesel engine has been addressed due to the more stringent legislation and environmental concerns. MnCo2O4 catalysts were systematically prepared using glucose as a fuel via the auto-combustion method and applied for soot removal. The as-prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), O2-temperature-programmed oxidation (TPO) reaction and H2-temperature-programmed reduction reaction (H2-TPR). The catalytic activities for soot combustion were evaluated by micro activity test (MAT) with a tight contact mode between soot and catalysts. Compared with catalysts prepared by the solid state method without glucose, auto-combustion method in the presence of glucose can decrease the synthetic temperature, avoiding high temperature treatment and sintering. The catalysts prepared with glucose could catalyze soot oxidation effectively and the derived values of T10, T50, and T90 were 326, 408, and 468 °C in a tight contact mode, respectively, showing a significant drop of T10, T50, and T90 by 156, 177, and 178 °C for non-catalytic reaction.  相似文献

Copper or iron supported on commercially available oxides, such as γ-Al2O3, TiO2 (anatase) and monoclinic tetragonal ZrO2 (mt-ZrO2) were tested as catalysts for selective catalytic oxidation of ammonia into nitrogen and water vapour (NH3-SCO) in the low temperature range. Different commercial oxides were used in this study to determine the influence of the specific surface area, acidic nature of the support and crystalline phases as well as of the type of species and aggregation state of transition metals on the catalytic performance in selective ammonia oxidation. Copper modified oxide supports were found to be more active and selective to nitrogen than catalysts impregnated with iron. Activities of both transition metal modified samples decreased in the following order: mt-ZrO2, TiO2 (anatase), γ-Al2O3. Quantitative total ammonia conversion was achieved with the Cu/ZrO2 catalytic system at 400°C. Characterisation techniques, e.g. H2-temperature programmed reduction, UV-VIS-diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, suggest that easily reducible copper oxide species are important in achieving high catalytic performances at low temperatures.  相似文献

A series of Ce–MnO x /TiO2 catalysts were prepared using a novel sol–gel template method and investigated for low-temperature selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with NH3 at temperatures ranging from 353 to 473 K. The 0.07Ce–MnO x /TiO2 catalyst showed the highest activity and best resistance to SO2 poisoning. The structure and properties of the catalysts were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), thermogravimetry (TG)–differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)–mass spectroscopy (MS), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) measurements, H2-temperature-programmed reduction (TPR), and NH3-temperature-programmed desorption (TPD). The superior catalytic activity of the 0.07Ce–MnO x /TiO2 catalyst was probably due to a change in the active components, an increase in surface active oxygen and surface acid sites, and lower crystallinity and larger surface area with Ce doping. Furthermore, the reduction ability also became stronger. The SO2 poisoning resistance of the 0.07Ce–MnO x /TiO2 catalyst improved because doping with Ce can effectively decrease the formation of ammonium salt on the catalyst surface and the sulfation of MnO x . In situ diffuse-reflectance infrared Fourier-transform (DRIFT) spectroscopy experiments indicated that addition of Ce could promote adsorption of NH3 and inhibit generation of some nitryl species. The SCR reactions over the catalysts mainly followed the Eley–Rideal mechanism accompanied with a partial Langmuir–Hinshelwood mechanism.  相似文献

Gold-palladium catalysts supported on cerium oxide were synthesized with the double complex salts. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and other physicochemical methods (TEM, TPR) were used to demonstrate that synthesis of highly active palladium catalysts requires the oxidative treatment stimulating the formation of a catalytically active surface solid solution Pd x Ce1?x O2, which is responsible for the lowtemperature activity (LTA) in the reaction CO + O2. In the case of gold catalysts, active sites for the lowtemperature oxidation of CO are represented by gold nanoparticles and its cationic interface species. Simultaneous deposition of two metals increases the catalyst LTA due to interaction of both gold and palladium with the support surface to form a Pd1?x CexO2 solid solution and cationic interface species of palladium and gold on the boundary of Pd-Au alloy particles anchored on the solid solution surface.  相似文献

The interaction of the model catalysts Rh/Al2O3, Pd/Al2O3, Pt/Al2O3, and Pt/SiO2 with NO x (mixture of 10 Torr of NO and 10 Torr of O2) was studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Samples of the model catalysts were prepared under vacuum conditions as oxide films ≥100 Å in thickness on tantalum foil with evaporated platinum-group metal particles. According to transmission electron microscopic data, the platinum-group metal particle size was several nanometers. It was found by XPS that the oxidation of Rh and Pd nanoparticles in their interaction with NO x occurs already at room temperature. The particles of platinum were more stable: their oxidation under the action of NO x was observed at elevated temperatures of ~300°C. At room temperature, the interaction of platinum nanoparticles with NO x hypothetically leads to the dissolution (insertion) of oxygen atoms in the bulk of the particles with the retention of their metallic nature. It was found that dissolved oxygen is much more readily reducible by hydrogen than the lattice oxygen of the platinum oxide particles.  相似文献

A series of precipitants and commercial surfactants (soft templates) were employed to synthesize mesoporous/nano CeO2 by a hydrothermal method. As-prepared CeO2 was impregnated with palladium and employed for low-temperature catalytic oxidation of CO. It was found that both soft templates and precipitants had significant effects on the morphology, particle size, crystallinity, and porous structure of the CeO2, having a significant effect on the surface palladium abundance, molar ratios of surface species, and catalytic activity of the final impregnated Pd/CeO2. Using ammonia as precipitant could facilitate increased surface palladium abundance and surface molar ratios of PdO/Pd SMSI , Ce3+/(Ce3+ + Ce4+), and Osurface/Olattice. The catalytic activity of the final Pd/CeO2 catalysts could be enhanced as well. The optimal P123-assisted ammonia-precipitated Pd/CeO2 catalyst exhibited over 99% catalytic conversion of CO at 50 °C.  相似文献

Oxidative desulfurization (ODS) of organic compounds containing sulfur element from a model oil was performed using tungsten oxide catalysts supported on mesoporous silica with cubic Ia3d mesostructure, well-defined mesopores (7.2 nm), high surface area (719 m2/g), and three-dimensional pore network (WO x /KIT-6). The prepared WO x /KIT-6 catalysts (5–20 wt% WO x ) were characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis, N2 sorption measurements, electron microscopy, H2-temperature programmed reduction, Raman spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. Among the mesoporous catalysts, 10 wt% WO x /KIT-6 exhibited the best catalytic performance. Sulfur-containing organic compounds, such as dibenzothiophene, 4,6-dimethyldibenzothiophene, and benzothiophene, were completely (100 %) removed from the model oil over 10 wt% WO x /KIT-6 catalyst in 2 h. In addition, the catalyst could be reused several times with only slight decrease in catalytic activity.  相似文献

The hydrothermal reaction of a mixture of V2O5, VCl3, 2,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid and diluted H2SO4 for 68 h at 180°C gives a blue colored solution which yields prismatic blue crystals of IV 2 IV O2(SO4)2(H2O)6] (1) in 32% yield (based on V). Complex 1 was investigated by means of elemental analysis (C, H and S), TGA, FT-IR, manganometric titration, Single Crystal X-ray Diffraction Methods and also comparative antimicrobial activities. Crystal data for the compound: monoclinic space group P21/c and unit cell parameters are a = 7.3850(12) Å, b = 7.3990(7) Å, c = 12.229(2) Å, β = 108.976(12)° and Z = 2. Although structure of 1 as a natural mineral has been previously determined, this work covers new preparation method and full characterization of 1 along with comparison of antibacterial activity between 1 and the commercial vanadium(IV) oxide sulfate hydrate compounds, VOSO4 · xH2O (Riedel-de Haën and Alfa Aesar brand names). 1 was evaluated for the antimicrobial activity against gram-positive, gram-negative bacteria, yeasts and mould compared with the commercial VOSO4 · xH2O compounds. 1 showed weak activity against bacteria Bacillus cereus, Nocardia asteroides and yeast Candida albicans. A good antimicrobial activity was recorded against Cirtobacter freundii (15 mm). There are only a few reproducible well-defined vanadium(IV) starting materials to use for exploring the synthesis of new materials. VCl4, VO(acac)2, VOSO4 · xH2O and [V(IV)OSO4(H2O)4] · SO4 · [H2N(C2H4)2NH2] are common starting materials for such applications. In addition to these compounds, 1 can be used as an oxovanadium precursor.  相似文献

Transition metal catalysts have been considerably used for NH3 decomposition because of the potential application in COx-free H2 generation for fuel cells. However, most transition metal catalysts prepared via traditional synthetic approaches performed the inferior stability due to the agglomeration of active components. Here, we adopted an efficient method, aerosol-assisted self-assembly approach (AASA), to prepare the optimized cobalt-alumina (Co3O4-Al2O3) catalysts. The Co3O4-Al2O3 catalysts exhibited excellent catalytic performance in the NH3 decomposition reaction, which can reach 100% conversion at 600 °C and maintain stable for 72 h at a gaseous hourly space velocity (GHSV) of 18000 cm3 gcat?1 h?1. The catalysts were characterized by various techniques including transmission electron microscope (TEM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), nitrogen sorption, temperature-programmed reduction by hydrogen (H2-TPR), ex-situ/in-situ Raman and ex-situ/in-situ X-ray diffraction (XRD) to obtain the information about the structure and property of the catalysts. H2-TPR and in-situ XRD results show that there is strong interaction between the cobalt and alumina species, which influences the redox properties of the catalysts. It is found that even a low content of alumina (10 at%) is able to stabilize the catalysts due to the adequate dispersion and rational interaction between different components, which ensures the high activity and superior stability of the cobalt-alumina catalysts.  相似文献

The structures of palladium carbonylcarboxylate clusters [Pd2(CO)2(RCOO)2] n (n = 2, R = CH3, CH2Cl, CF3, n = 3, R = CMe3, CHMe2, n-C5H11) are studied in benzene and tetrahydrofuran solutions by IR and 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The clusters in the solid state have a planar cyclic metal framework with pairs of the carbonyl and carboxylate ligands alternately coordinated on its sides. In solutions, compounds under consideration contain one-type carbonyl ligands and one-type carboxylate ligands; their structures are similar to thaso in the solid state.  相似文献

The present research work reports the study on crystal structure, vibrational spectroscopy and thermal analysis of organic-inorganic hybrid compound (C6H5(CH2)2NH3)2CdCl4. Single crystals of bis(phenethylammonium)tetrachlorocadmate (C6H5(CH2)2NH3)2CdCl4 (PEA–Cd) were obtained by diffusion at room temperature. This compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group C2cb with unit cell parameters a = 7.4444(2) Å, b = 38.8965(3) Å, c = 7.3737(2) Å and Z = 4. Single crystal structure has been solved and refined to R = 0.036 and wR = 0.092. The structure consists of an extended [CdCl4]2– network and two [C6H5(CH2)2NH3]+ cations to form a two-dimensional perovskite system. The infrared (IR) spectrum of the title compound was recorded at room temperature. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) was used to investigate the phase transition; this compound exhibits a reversible single solid-solid phase transition.  相似文献

The adsorption of H2O and D2O on porous polymers, Chromosorb-102 (styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer) and MN-200 (supercross-linked polystyrene), was studied by gas chromatography. Test adsorbates used to study the properties of the surface of these polymers were n-alkanes (C6-C9), C6H6, and the polar compounds CHCl3, CH3NO2, CH3CN, (CH3)2CO, C2H5COOCH3, and (C2H5)2O. The experimental data on the retention of the sorbates were used to determine the contributions of dispersion and specific intermolecular interactions to the total energy of adsorption for the systems studied. The electron donor K D and electron acceptor K A characteristics of the surfaces of Chromosorb-102 and MN-200 were determined. The K D and K A values obtained allow these polymers to be classified as weakly specific adsorbents with the predominance of electron acceptor properties. The adsorption isotherms of H2O and D2O were measured at 55, 67, and 80°C. The dependences of the isosteric heats of adsorption Q st on adsorption values were determined. The conclusion was drawn that H2O interacted with the surface of the polymers by the adsorption mechanism, whereas absorption likely made a noticeable contribution to the retention of D2O.  相似文献

The subsolidus region of the Ag2MoO4-MgMoO4-Al2(MoO4)3 ternary salt system has been studied by X-ray phase analysis. The formation of new compounds Ag1 ? x Mg1 ? x Al1 + x (MoO4)3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.4) and AgMg3Al(MoO4)5 has been determined. The Ag1 ? x Mg1 ? x Al1 + x (MoO4)3 variable-composition phase is related to the NASICON type structure (space group R \(\bar 3\) c). AgMg3Al(MoO4)5 is isostructural to sodium magnesium indium molybdate of the same formula unit and crystallizes in triclinic system (space group P \(\bar 1\), Z = 2) with the following unit cell parameters: a = 9.295(7) Å, b = 17.619(2) Å, c = 6.8570(7) Å, α = 87.420(9)°, β = 101.109(9)°, γ = 91.847(9)°. The compounds Ag1 ? x Mg1 ? x Al1 + x (MoO4)3 and AgMg3Al(MoO4)5 are thermally stable up to 790 and 820°C, respectively.  相似文献

A new complex [UO2CrO4{CH3CON(CH3)2}2] (I) was studied by thermal analysis, IR spectroscopy, and X-ray crystallography. The crystals are monoclinic: a = 13.8108(11) Å, b = 8.6804(7) Å, c = 13.0989(10) Å, β = 104.777(1)°, V = 1518.4(2) Å3, space group P21/c, Z = 4, R = 2.39%. The structure of I contains infinite chains of the [UO2CrO4{CH3CON(CH3)2}2] composition running along [001]; the complex belongs to the AT11M1 2 crystal-chemical group (A = UO 2 2+ , T11 = CrO 4 2? , M1 = CH3CON(CH3)2) of uranyl complexes. The chains are linked into a three-dimensional framework due to hydrogen bonds between oxygen atoms of chromate ions and hydrogen atoms of methyl groups of the dimethylacetamide.  相似文献

Effect of the calcination temperature of the MnOx/Ga2O3 system on its structural and catalytic properties in the reaction of oxidation of CO and hydrocarbons. The dependences of the catalytic activity of MnO x /Ga2O3 in the reactions of CO and ethane oxidation on the calcination temperature exhibit an extremal behavior. The maximum values of activity are observed upon calcination of the system at 700°C, i.e., at the temperature that is limiting for the existence of a solid solution of manganese ions in γ-Ga2O3. The structural changes occurring with increasing calcination temperature are accompanied by a substantial decrease in the specific surface area of a sample. The observed rise in the specific catalytic activity (by a factor of ~7 upon an increase in the preliminary-calcination temperature from 600 to 800°C) confirms that the thermal activation effect exists for the given system.  相似文献

The hydrogen abstraction reactions from CH3Cl2F (R-141b) and CH3CClF2 (R-142b) by OH radicals are studied theoretically by semi-classical transition state theory. The stationary points for the reactions are located by using KMLYP density functional method along with 6-311++G(2d,2p) basis set and MP2 method along with 6-311+G(d,p) basis set. Single-point energy calculations are performed by the CBS-Q and G4 combination methods on the geometries optimized at the KMLYP/6-311++G(2d,2p) level of theory. Vibrational anharmonicity coefficients, x ij , which are needed for semi-classical transition state theory calculations, are computed at the KMLYP/6-311++G(2d,2p) and MP2/6-311+G(d,p) levels of theory. The computed barrier heights are slightly sensitive to the quantum-chemical method. Thermal rate coefficients are computed over the temperature range from 200 to 2000 K and they are shown to be in accordance with available experimental data. On the basis of the computed rate coefficients, the tropospheric lifetime of the CH3CCl2F and CH3CClF2 are estimated to be about 6.5 and 12.0 years, respectively.  相似文献
