Here we are concerned with the existence of positive solution for autonomous and nonautonomous second-order systems with multi-points boundary conditions. For nonautonomous systems we use the Schauder's fixed point theorem in a suitable Banach space, while for autonomous ones using fixed point theorems is usually useless because of the existence of trivial solution and for this we employed a method based on the implicit function theorem and topological degree. In order to verify the obtained results, we have considered some definite systems to verify the results numerically.  相似文献

This paper deals with a discrete Nicholson's blowflies model with linear harvesting term. By using contraction mapping fixed point theorem, we obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of unique almost periodic positive solution. In this paper, positive solutions for a kind of third-order multi-point boundary value problem at resonance are investigated. By using the Leggett-Williams norm-type theorem due to O''Regan and Zima, existence result of at least one positive solution is established. In this paper, we prove that “most of” problems in Ky Fan's section theorem (in the sense of Baire category) are essential and that for any problem in Ky Fan's section theorem, there exists at least one essential component of its solution set. As applications, we deduce both the existence of essential components of the set of Ky Fan's points based on Ky Fan's minimax inequality theorem and the existence of essential components of the set of Nash equilibrium points for general n-person non-cooperative games with non-concave payoffs.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the existence of traveling waves to a predator–prey model with a spatiotemporal delay. By analyzing the corresponding characteristic equations, the local stability of a positive steady state and each of boundary steady states are established, and the existence of Hopf bifurcation at the positive steady state is also discussed. By constructing a pair of upper–lower solutions and by using the cross‐iteration method as well as the Schauder's fixed‐point theorem, the existence of a traveling wave solution connecting the semi‐trivial steady state and the positive steady state is proved. Some results on the existence and uniqueness of mild solution for a system of semilinear impulsive differential equations with infinite fractional Brownian motions are proved. The approach is based on Perov's fixed point theorem and a new version of Schaefer's fixed point theorem in generalized Banach spaces. The relationship between mild and weak solutions and the exponential stability of mild solutions are investigated as well. The abstract theory is illustrated with an example.  相似文献

Sufficient conditions for the existence of a solution to a non-linear Volterra integral equation are given for special cases of the general equation. In the generality given here, this equation has, apparently, not been studied before. The major technique used is the classical fixed point theorem of Banach. An apparent innovation of this article is the use of Banach's theorem to prove both the existence and find the location of a solution to the integral equation and prove the existence and find the location of the derivative to this solution, which exists almost everywhere. Furthermore, it is shown that for some particular choices of the constants, multiple solutions exist to this equation.  相似文献

This paper focuses on a class of Hadamard-type fractional differential equation with nonlocal boundary conditions on an infinite interval. New existence, uniqueness, and multiplicity results of positive solutions are obtained by using Schauder's fixed point theorem, Banach's contraction mapping principle, the monotone iterative method, and the Avery-Peterson fixed point theorem. We study the two-dimensional stochastic Boussinesq system with zero dissipation and multiplicative noise. We show the existence of a martingale solution by a priori estimates using stochastic calculus, and applications of Prokhorov's, Skorokhod's, and martingale representation theorems. Due to the lack of dissipation, the proof requires higher regularity estimates, taking advantage of the structure of the nonlinear term. Moreover, we obtain the existence of the pressure term via an application of de Rham's theorem for processes.  相似文献

We will accomplish the exact limits for all order derivatives of the global weak solutions to a two-dimensional incompressible dissipative quasi-geostrophic equation. We will also establish the improved decay estimates with sharp rates for all order derivatives. We will consider two cases for the initial function and the external force and prove the optimal results for both cases. We will couple together existing ideas (including the Fourier transformation and its properties, Parseval''s identity, iteration technique, Lebesgue''s dominated convergence theorem, Gagliardo-Nirenberg-Sobolev interpolation inequality, squeeze theorem, Cauchy-Schwartz''s inequality, etc) existing results (the existence of global weak solutions, the existence of local smooth solution on $(T,\infty)$ and the elementary decay estimate with a sharp rate) and a few novel ideas to obtain the main results.  相似文献

Abstract

In this article, we study the solution of a class of stochastic convolution-type heat equations with nonlinear drift. For general initial condition and coefficients, we prove existence and uniqueness by using the characterization theorem and Banach's fixed-point theorem. We also give an implicit solution, which is a well-defined generalized stochastic process in a suitable distribution space. Finally, we investigate the continuous dependence of the solution on the initial data as well as the dependence on the coefficient.  相似文献

It is well known that the Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem is very very important. It was extensively used for studying the boundary value problems. In this article, the Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem is extended. The new fixed point theorem is obtained. The second order quasilinear differential equation (Φ (y′))′+a(t)f(t,y,y′)=0,, 0<t<1 subject to mixed boundary condition is studied, where f is a nonnegative continuous function, Φ (v)= |v|p-2 v, p>1.
