We study left braces satisfying special conditions, or identities. We are particularly interested in the impact of conditions like Raut and lri on the properties of the left brace and its associated solution of the Yang–Baxter equation (YBE). We show that the solution (G,rG) of the YBE associated to the structure group G=G(X,r) (with the natural structure of a left brace) of a nontrivial solution (X,r) of the YBE has multipermutation level 2 if and only if G satisfies lri. It is known that every (left) brace with lri satisfies condition Raut. We prove that for a graded Jacobson radical ring with no elements of additive order two the conditions lri and Raut are equivalent. We construct a finite two-sided brace with condition Raut which does not satisfy lri. We show that a finitely generated two-sided brace which satisfies lri has a finite multipermutation level which is bounded by the number of its generators.  相似文献

Meson algebras are involved in the wave equation of meson particles in the same way as Clifford algebras are involved in the Dirac wave equation of electrons. Here we improve and generalize the information already obtained about their structure and their representations, when the symmetric bilinear form under consideration is nondegenerate. We emphasize their parity grading. We calculate the center of these meson algebras, and the center of their even subalgebra. Finally we show that every nondegenerate meson algebra over a field contains a group isomorphic to the group of automorphisms of the symmetric bilinear form.   相似文献

The Hopf algebra of renormalization in quantum field theory is described at a general level. The products of fields at a point are assumed to form a bialgebra B and renormalization endows T(T(B)+), the double tensor algebra of B, with the structure of a noncommutative bialgebra. When the bialgebra B is commutative, renormalization turns S(S(B)+), the double symmetric algebra of B, into a commutative bialgebra. The usual Hopf algebra of renormalization is recovered when the elements of S1(B) are not renormalized, i.e., when Feynman diagrams containing one single vertex are not renormalized. When B is the Hopf algebra of a commutative group, a homomorphism is established between the bialgebra S(S(B)+) and the Faà di Bruno bialgebra of composition of series. The relation with the Connes-Moscovici Hopf algebra is given. Finally, the bialgebra S(S(B)+) is shown to give the same results as the standard renormalization procedure for the scalar field.  相似文献

We study the finite-dimensional central division algebras over the rational function field in several variables over an algebraically closed field. We describe the division algebras that are split by the cyclic covering obtained by adjoining the nth root of a polynomial. The relative Brauer group is described in terms of the Picard group of the cyclic covering and its Galois group. Many examples are given and in most cases division algebras are presented that represent generators of the relative Brauer group.  相似文献

An infinite-dimensional N-graded k-algebra A is called projectively simple if dimkA/I<∞ for every nonzero two-sided ideal IA. We show that if a projectively simple ring A is strongly noetherian, is generated in degree 1, and has a point module, then A is equal in large degree to a twisted homogeneous coordinate ring B=B(X,L,σ). Here X is a smooth projective variety, σ is an automorphism of X with no proper σ-invariant subvariety (we call such automorphisms wild), and L is a σ-ample line bundle. We conjecture that if X admits a wild automorphism then every irreducible component of X is an abelian variety. We prove several results in support of this conjecture; in particular, we show that the conjecture is true if . In the case where X is an abelian variety, we describe all wild automorphisms of X . Finally, we show that if A is projectively simple and admits a balanced dualizing complex, then is Cohen-Macaulay and Gorenstein.  相似文献

We show the equivalence of admissibility conditions proposed by Wilcox and Yu (in press) [11] and by Rui and Xu (2009) [9] for the parameters of cyclotomic BMW algebras.  相似文献

We study and classify Artin–Schelter regular algebras of dimension five with two generators under an additional Z2Z2-grading by Hilbert driven Gröbner basis computations. All the algebras we obtained are strongly noetherian, Auslander regular, and Cohen–Macaulay. One of the results provides an answer to Fløystad–Vatne?s question in the context of Z2Z2-grading. Our results also achieve a connection between Lyndon words and Artin–Schelter regular algebras.  相似文献

Hopf group-coalgebras   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
We study algebraic properties of Hopf group-coalgebras, recently introduced by Turaev. We show the existence of integrals and traces for such coalgebras, and we generalize the main properties of quasitriangular and ribbon Hopf algebras to the setting of Hopf group-coalgebras.  相似文献

We expose a rather simple and direct approach to the structure theory of prime PI-rings (“Posner’s theorem”), based on fundamental properties of the extended centroid of a prime ring.  相似文献

We study a class of noncommutative surfaces, and their higher dimensional analogs, which come from generic subalgebras of twisted homogeneous coordinate rings of projective space. Such rings provide answers to several open questions in noncommutative projective geometry. Specifically, these rings R are the first known graded algebras over a field k which are noetherian but not strongly noetherian: in other words, RkB is not noetherian for some choice of commutative noetherian extension ring B. This answers a question of Artin, Small, and Zhang. The rings R are also maximal orders, but they do not satisfy all of the χ conditions of Artin and Zhang. In particular, they satisfy the χ1 condition but not χi for i?2, answering a question of Stafford and Zhang and a question of Stafford and Van den Bergh. Finally, we show that the noncommutative scheme R-proj has finite global dimension.  相似文献

Let B be a braided Hopf algebra (with bijective antipode) in the category of left Yetter-Drinfeld modules over a quasi-Hopf algebra H. As in the case of Hopf algebras (J. Algebra 92 (1985) 322), the smash product B#H defined in (Comm. Algebra 28(2) (2000) 631) and a kind of smash coproduct afford a quasi-Hopf algebra structure on BH. Using this, we obtain the structure of quasi-Hopf algebras with a projection. Further we will use this biproduct to describe the Majid bosonization (J. Algebra 163 (1994) 165) for quasi-Hopf algebras.  相似文献

This is the last in a series on configurations in an abelian category A. Given a finite poset (I,?), an (I,?)-configuration (σ,ι,π) is a finite collection of objects σ(J) and morphisms ι(J,K) or in A satisfying some axioms, where J,K are subsets of I. Configurations describe how an object X in A decomposes into subobjects. The first paper defined configurations and studied moduli spaces of configurations in A, using Artin stacks. It showed well-behaved moduli stacks ObjA,MA(I,?) of objects and configurations in A exist when A is the abelian category coh(P) of coherent sheaves on a projective scheme P, or mod-KQ of representations of a quiver Q. The second studied algebras of constructible functions and stack functions on ObjA.The third introduced stability conditions(τ,T,?) on A, and showed the moduli space of τ-semistable objects in class α is a constructible subset in ObjA, so its characteristic function is a constructible function. It formed algebras , , , of constructible and stack functions on ObjA, and proved many identities in them.In this paper, if (τ,T,?) and are stability conditions on A we write in terms of the , and deduce the algebras are independent of (τ,T,?). We study invariants or Iss(I,?,κ,τ) ‘counting’ τ-semistable objects or configurations in A, which satisfy additive and multiplicative identities. We compute them completely when A=mod-KQ or A=coh(P) for P a smooth curve. We also find invariants with special properties when A=coh(P) for P a smooth surface with nef, or a Calabi-Yau 3-fold.  相似文献

A structure is associated with the quantum harmonic oscillator, over a fixed algebraically closed field FF of characteristic 0, which is shown to be uncountably categorical. An analysis of definable sets is carried out, from which it follows that this structure is a Zariski geometry of dimension 1. It is non-classical in the sense that it is not interpretable in ACF0ACF0 and in the case F=CF=C, is not a structure on a complex manifold.  相似文献

Odd K-theory has the interesting property that it admits an infinite number of inequivalent differential refinements. In this paper we provide a bundle theoretic model for odd differential K-theory using the caloron correspondence and prove that this refinement is unique up to a unique natural isomorphism. We characterise the odd Chern character and its transgression form in terms of a connection and Higgs field and discuss some applications. Our model can be seen as the odd counterpart to the Simons–Sullivan construction of even differential K-theory. We use this model to prove a conjecture of Tradler–Wilson–Zeinalian [16], which states that the model developed there also defines the unique differential extension of odd K-theory.  相似文献

Let F be an infinite field. The primeness property for central polynomials of Mn(F) was established by A. Regev, i.e., if the product of two polynomials in distinct variables is central then each factor is also central. In this paper we consider the analogous property for Mn(F) and determine, within the elementary gradings with commutative neutral component, the ones that satisfy this property, namely the crossed product gradings. Next we consider Mn(R), where R admits a regular grading, with a grading such that Mn(F) is a homogeneous subalgebra and provide sufficient conditions – satisfied by Mn(E) with the trivial grading – to prove that Mn(R) has the primeness property if Mn(F) does. We also prove that the algebras Ma,b(E) satisfy this property for ordinary central polynomials. Hence we conclude that, over a field of characteristic zero, every verbally prime algebra has the primeness property.  相似文献

The notion of a formally smooth bimodule is introduced and its basic properties are analyzed. In particular it is proven that a B-A bimodule M which is a generator left B-module is formally smooth if and only if the M-Hochschild dimension of B is at most one. It is also shown that modules M which are generators in the category σ[M] of M-subgenerated modules provide natural examples of formally smooth bimodules.  相似文献

Let R be a prime ring and δ a σ-derivation of R, where σ is an automorphism of R. It is proved that the skew polynomial ring is a GPI-ring (PI-ring resp.) if and only if R is a GPI-ring (PI-ring resp.), δ is quasi-algebraic, and σ is quasi-inner. If is a GPI-ring then soc , where Q is the symmetric Martindale quotient ring of R and where denotes the extended centroid of . If is a PI-ring, its PI-degree is determined as follows: if δ is X-outer, and if δ is X-inner.  相似文献

In this paper, we construct one Yang-Mills measure on an orientable compact surface for each isomorphism class of principal bundles with compact connected structure group over this surface. For this, we refine the discretization procedure used in a previous construction [9] and define a discrete theory on a new configuration space which is essentially a covering of the usual one. We prove that the measures corresponding to different isomorphism classes of bundles or to different total areas of the base space are mutually singular. We give also a combinatorial computation of the partition functions which relies on the formalism of fat graphs.  相似文献
