Spin assignments have been made to the25Mg levels in theE x=5–6 MeV region fromγ-ray angular distributions measured in the22Ne(α, n y) reaction atE α=8.0 and 8.8 MeV and fromp-γ angular correlations measured in the24Mg(d, p γ) reaction atE d=6 MeV. Unique spin assignments ofJ=7/2, 5/2, 5/2, and 9/2 could be made to the levels atE x=5005, 5511, 5851, and 5967 keV, respectively. Ambigious assignments have been made to the levels atE x=5245, 5524, 5785, 6032 keV (J=11/2, 7/2), 5455 keVJ=13/2, 9/2), and 5738 keV (J=3/2, 5/2). The present data confirm previous assignments ofJ=1/2 to the levels atE x=5108 and 5466 keV, respectively. Lifetime estimates have been obtained, using the Doppler-shift attenuation method, for the levels atE x=5245 keV (τ=30–60 fs), 5785 keV (τ=50–100 fs), 5967 keV (τ=50–100 fs), and 5455 keV (τ>1ps). All other levels in theE x=5–6 MeV region haveτ<60 fs. A breakdown of theK-selection rule has been observed in theγ-decay of some high spin states, indicating a deviation from the strong coupling model.  相似文献

Low lying levels in203Hg and205Hg were studied with the (d, p) deuteron break-up reaction atE d=14 and 18 MeV. Gamma-rays and conversion-electrons were measured in coincidence with protons. In addition delayed spectra were recorded with us and ms beam pulsing. Thei 13/2 neutron hole state was identified in205Hg and confirmed in203Hg. The known level structure of205Hg below 2 MeV is confirmed and extended. For203Hg we observe theγ-decay of several levels below 1.5 MeV, which were previously known from transfer reactions.  相似文献

The de-excitation of levels in119–125Sn populated in the decay of In isotopes has been studied using on-line isotope separators. Level half-lives have been measured in119–123Sn. a near cancellation of the matrix element for B(E2; g7/2→ d3/2) is observed to occur in121Sn and is probably due to pairing effects. Very low lying 9/2? levels have been observed in121–125Sn and are suggested in127, 129Sn. These levels have been interpreted as three quasi-particle states based on the unique parity h11/2 level. A possible mixing of theg 7/2 level with a close lying 7/2+ three quasi-particle state in123Sn is discussed. Highly excited levels of33S populated by α-particle capture in29Si have been investigated forE α=1.962 MeV to 4.287 MeV. Excitation curves measured with Ge(Li) and BF3 detectors are reported. More than fifty resonances can be identified with levels in33S. (α, γ) angular distributions measured on five strong resonances have yieldedJ π values 1/2+, 3/2 +, 5/2?, 5/2?, 5/2? and 3/2+ respectively, for theE x =10.054, 10.466, 10.523, 10.721, 10.758 and 10.776 MeV levels in33S. Elastic scattering experiments have been performed and theJ π assignments are found to be consistent with thel-values inferred from the elastic scattering data. Decay schemes from the above33S levels have been proposed. A new level at 9.245 MeV is also suggested and theJ π values for the 4.425 and 2.87 MeV states are shown to be consistent with 7/2+ and 3/2+ assignment, respectively. Nuclear Reactions29Si(α, γ) and29Si(α, α),E α=1.962-4.287 MeV. Measured relative σ(E). DeducedJ π andE γ of33S levels. New33S level atE x =9.245 MeV. Enriched targets.  相似文献

Theγ-decay modes of38Ar levels withE x ≦11,630keV and of42Ca levels withE x ≦10,036keV have been studied using the35Cl(α, pγ) reaction at 16MeV and the39K(α, pγ) reaction at 15.14 MeV, respectively. In both nuclei the number of states withJ≧6 exceeds fifty. Weak coupling calculations of the Bansal and French type reproduce the density of high-spin states. The success of the model implies that the excitations of up to four particles from thed 3/2 into thef 7/2 shell play a role in both nuclei. The structure of deformed states was found to be predominantly 4p/s 6h in38Ar and 4p/s 2h in42Ca, respectively.  相似文献

The line shape and the excitation strength of the very weak first excited J π =1/2+ state at Ex=1.684 MeV in Zeitschrift für Physik Zeitschrift für Physik9Be has been investigated with high-resolution inelastic electron scattering at E0=45 and 49 MeV and scattering angles θ=105°, 117°, 129° and 165°, and with high-resolution inelastic proton scattering at E0=13MeV and θ=15° and 18°. Due to lying just above the neutron threshold the level has a strongly asymmetric line shape which in both experiments can be described consistently with a Breit-Wigner expression modified on the low energy side by the threshold behaviour of the cross section. The resonance energy is ER=1.684 ± 0.007 MeV and the width T=217± 10 keV in thec.m. system. A single particle potential model calculation reproduces the line shape and the resonance parameters fairly well. In addition, the inelastic electron scattering form factor has been measured. In the range of momentum transfersq =0.24-0.46 fm?1 it is dominated by a 0p3/2→ 1s1/2 particle-hole transition. The transition is mainly longitudinal and of isoscalar nature with a strength of B (E1)↑ =0.027 + 0.002 e2 fm2, but a small M2 contribution ofB(M2)↑=8.8 ±1.5 μ N 2 fm2 has also been detected.  相似文献

Levels of120,122Sb have been observed using the121,123Sb(p, d) reactions atE p = 26.2 MeV. Thirty-two levels of120Sb and thirty-four levels of122Sb are observed below 2.0 MeV excitation with an energy resolution better than 25 keV FWHM. Experimental angular distributions were compared to DWBA calculations in order to extractl-transfers and spectroscopic factors. Strong mixing between the 3s 1/2, 2d 3/2, 2d 5/2, and 1g 7/2 neutron orbitals is observed in both nuclei. Angular distributions of the48Ti(d, t)47Ti and47Ti(d, t)46Ti reactions have been measured atE d =19.5 MeV and analyzed by DWBA. The data suggest an explanation of the48Ti(d, t)47Ti ground state transition by means of a [f 7 2/5 ·f 5/2]0+ neutron component in the ground state of48Ti.  相似文献

A search for high-spin states in28Si has been performed byn?y coincidence measurements in the25Mg(α,nγy) reaction atE α=14 and 15.5 MeV. Spin-parity assignments of the observed levels were obtained fromn?γ angular correlation and lifetime measurements atE α=14.5 MeV. Theγ-decay of the 9,164 keV level was investigated separately with the27Al(p, γ) reaction at theE p=2,160 and 2,312 keV resonances. Rotational bands withK π=3? (comprising levels atE x=6,879, 8,413, 10,188 and 12,204 keV),K π =5? (comprising levels atE x=9,702, 11,577 and 13,741 keV) andK π=0+ (comprising levels atE x=6,691, 7,381, 9,164 and 11,509 keV) were observed. The finding of the latter band supports the idea of coexisting oblate and prolate shapes in28Si. A level at 14,643 keV excitation energy has the properties of theI π=8+ member of the ground state band. There are additional positive-parity high-spin states which do not fit into rotational bands. All types of positive-parity states are well accounted for by shell model calculations.  相似文献

The26Mg(α,nγ) reaction has been used in connection with a neutron time-of-flight spectrometer to search for high spin states in29Si betweenE x =8.4 and 11.4 MeV. The γ-decay of twenty levels has been observed. Nine levels have not been observed before. A candidate for theJ π=13/2?,K=7/2 state has been located with theE x =8761 keV level.  相似文献

Gamma-decay modes and spin(-parity) assignments of levels in25Mg have been systematically investigated up to 10 MeV excitation energy by particle-γ-ray angularcorrelation measurements with the24Mg(d, pγ) reaction at 6.5 MeV bombarding energy and with the22Ne(α,) reaction at 11.8, 12.5, 14.4 and 15.5 MeV bombarding energy. A level scheme has been established which is comprehensive up to 8.3 MeV excitation energy forI≦9/2 and up to 10 MeV for 9/2O d 5/2 — 1s 1/2-O d 3/2 shell and the unifieds-d shell Hamiltonian. The agreement is good to excellent. The first intruder states are located near 6.8 MeV excitation energy. The collective properties of25Mg beyond the well established rotational bands are investigated using both the new experimental information and theB(E2)'s obtained from the shell model. The spectrum of25Mg is completely rotational for the first five to six MeV above the yrast line. Shell modelB (M 1)'s reflect the Nilsson model structure of25Mg in great detail. The prospectiveI π=9/2?, 13/2?, and 15/2? members of the established negative-parity,K=1/2 band are found in levels atE x=7801, 9410, and 8896 keV.  相似文献

The mass of10Li has been measured with two different reactions:9Be(13C,12N)10Li,E Lab=336 MeV, and13C(14C,17F)10Li,E Lab=337 MeV. The mass excess of 33.445(50) MeV is deduced from theQ-value measurement.10Li is found to be particle-unstable with respect to one-neutron emission by 0.42(5) MeV. In the analysis of the first reaction a low lying excited state is found at 0.38(8) MeV. This state and the ground state can be most probably identified as the 1+/2+-doublet coupled from the [π 1p3/2 ?ν 1p 1/2] configuration, the 1+-state being the ground state. The (13C,12N)-reaction populates the 1+-state strongly due to a spin-isospin-flip character of the dominant part of the transition amplitude. The 2+-member corresponds to the mass given by Wilcox et al. A second excited state is observed at 4.05(10) MeV with a width of 0.7(2) MeV, it can be associated with theν 1d 5/2-strength. The second reaction is fully supporting the interpretation of the ground state doublet. The excited state at 4.05 MeV is not observed in this reaction and indeed it should not, because the reaction does not populate in first order excited neutron configurations. The levels are well described by mean field calculations including pairing correlations. The lowest resonance in the calculations is theν 1/2?-configuration, whereas theν 1/2+-configuration shows at the neutron threshold a strong non-resonant contribution.  相似文献

In-beamγ-ray and conversion electron measurements with (α, xn) reactions have established the145Sm highspin states up toI π=25/2+ at 3.5 MeV excitation. A shell model analysis using empirical two- and one-body energies from neighbouring nuclei classifies the low-lying odd-parity levels as 3-quasiparticle states formed by the144Sm two-proton-hole excitations and thef 7/2 valence neutron. The higher-lying positive-parity states involve particle-hole core excitations with one proton inh 11/2.  相似文献

The level structures of theN=82 andN=83 nuclei147Tb and148Tb have been studied by means of (α, 8n) and (α,7n) reactions induced by 68 to 110 MeVα particle bombardments of151Eu targets. In-beam conversion electron measurements have established that isomers withT 1/2=4.8(6)ns in147Tb andT 1/2=22(1)ns in148Tb decay byM2+E3 transitions to the ground states. The measuredB(E3) values show that the isomeric states arise from the coupling of the valence nucleon(s) to the146Gd core octupole. Particlephonon coupling in these nuclei and in the one-neutron nucleus147Gd is discussed and compared with well known cases involving the208Pb core. The higher lying yrast states in the two Tb nuclei are described as shell-model particle-hole excitations using empirical single particle energies and nucleon-nucleon interactions.  相似文献

Resonances in the reaction60Ni(p, γ)61Cu have been studied in the proton energy rangesE p=1840–1880 keV and 2220–2300 keV. Decay schemes and branching ratios have been determined for a number of resonances, three of which are identified as analogue fragments of the 283 keV (1/2?) and 656 keV (3/2?) states in61Ni. The split analogue components of the 283 keV state atE x≈6.6 MeV are seen to decay significantly to a group of states in the region of excitation 3–4 MeV. Gamma ray angular distributions yield the following resonance spins:E p=2248 keV,J=3/2;E p=2263 keV,J=5/2. Also, the61Cu ground stateβ + decay to parent levels in61Ni has been compared to the respective analogue stateM1 gamma decay to the61Cu ground state.  相似文献

The24Mg(α, p γ) reaction has been studied atα-particle energies of 13, 15, and 15.2 MeV. Using method II of Litherland and Ferguson spin assignments or restrictions thereof could be made to the27Al levels atE x =5500 keV (I=11/2, 7/2), 6950 keV (I=11/2, 7/2), 7226 keV (I=9/2), 7286 keV (I=9/2–13/2), 7399 keV (I=11/2, 7/2) and 7443 keV (I=13/2, 9/2). Using the Doppler-shift attenuation method a lifetimeτ=20–50 fs was obtained for theE x =7399 keV level and a limitτ<20 fs for the levels atE x =7443, 7286, 7226, 6950, 6718, and 6287 keV, respectively. Further spin assignments in27Al were obtained by a study of the26Mg(p, γ) reaction at the Ep=2174 keV resonance. Fromγ-ray angular distributions the resonance spin was determined as I=9/2 (previous assignmentI=7/2) and the spin of theE x =5959 keV level was determined asI=7/2. Tentative spin assignments were made to the levels atE x =6537 keV (I=7/2) and 6718 keV (I=9/2). From the combined evidence of the24Mg(α, p) and26Mg(p, γ) reactions the spin of the 6287 keV level was found to beI=7/2. The results are compared with shell model calculations and the Nilsson model.  相似文献

Six rotational bands up to energies E x =24.7 MeV and spinsj π=(79/2?) have been identified in109Sn using the GAMMASPHEREγ-detector array. Four of the bands show smoothly decreasing dynamic moments of inertia at rotational frequencies>0.6 MeV. The bands arise at medium spins from a coupling of a valence d5/2, g7/2 or h11/2 neutron to the deformed 2p2h proton excitation of the Z=50 core108Sn. At very high these bands show the typical behaviour of smoothly terminating bands, i.e. a gradual alignment of the angular momenta of the valence particles and holes corresponding to a transition from high collectivity to noncollective states.  相似文献

An investigation of the high spin isomer in151Sm was performed via the150Nd(α, 3nγ) reaction at a projectile energy of 35 MeV. A newγ-transition, 693.6 keV was identified having an exponential delayed component. The transition feeds the 1912 keV state of the negative parity band built on theh 11/2 state. This transition was also observed in coincidence withγ-rays belonging to151Sm in theγ-γ coincidence experiment atE α =37 MeV. A new isomeric state having energyE x =2605.8 keV and half lifeT 1/2=23.1±3.5 ns is proposed.  相似文献

The absolute cross sectionσ of thed(7Li,p)8Li reaction near theE cm=0.61 MeV resonance has been measured using a7Li ion beam and a windowless gas target system filled with D2 gas. The proton yield of the reaction and theβ-delayedα-activity of the residual nuclides8Li were observed both concurrently with the elastic scattering yield, relatingσ to the Rutherford scattering cross sectionσ R. The resulting values,σ (fromp)=143.6±8.9 mb andσ (from8Li)=151±20 mb, lead to a weighted mean value ofσ=153±6 mb (x 2=2.26) including all available values andσ=146±5 mb (x 2=0.05) removing some values from the data set. The consequences for the expected flux of high-energy solar neutrinos are discussed.  相似文献
