The decay of107Cd has been studied with Ge(Li) and Si(Li) detectors. Thirty three gamma rays were observed in this decay of which nine for the first time. Gammagamma directional correlation techniques employing a Ge(Li)-NaI(Tl) system were used to determine spins and mixing ratios. A decay scheme has been constructed with firmly established excited states at 93.13(7/2+), 125.4(9/2+), 324.8(3/2?), 423.0(5/2?), 786.7(3/2?), 922.1(5/2+), 949.7(5/2?), 972.9(7/2?, 5/2?), 1143.0(5/2?), 1223.0(5/2+), 1258.8(5/2?), 1325.7(5/2?) keV. A tentative level has been introduced at 1389.8(7/2+) keV. The results are compared with the predictions of the theoretical calculations of Paar [10].  相似文献

The far-infrared laser magnetic resonance spectrum of AsH in the ground X3Σ? state has been observed using five optically pumped laser lines as sources. The AsH radical was produced by the reaction of metallic arsenic with microwave discharge products of a H2 and O2 mixture. From an analysis of the observed spectrum, the following rotational and fine structure constants were obtained: B0 = 215 877.54 (23), D0 = 9.834 (11), λ = 1 763 488 (56), and γ = ?8 114.5 (60), all in MHz with 3σ in parentheses. The hyperfine coupling constants were also determined for the two nuclei as follows: αAs = ?11.5 (14), βAs = ?159.4 (13), eQqAs = ?97.6 (72), αH=?49.80 (66), and βH=4.15 (60), again in MHz with 3σ in parentheses.  相似文献

The radioactive isotope 107Sn was studied using Coulomb excitation at the REX-ISOLDE facility at CERN. This is the lightest odd-Sn nucleus examined using this technique. The reduced transition probability of the lowest-lying $\ensuremath 3/2^{+}$ state was measured and is compared to shell-model predictions based on several sets of single-neutron energies relative to 100Sn . Similar to the transition probabilities for the $\ensuremath 2^{+}$ states in the neutron-deficient even-even Sn nuclei, the measured value is underestimated by shell-model calculations. Part of the strength may be recovered by considering the ordering of the $\ensuremath d_{5/2}$ and $\ensuremath g_{7/2}$ single-neutron states.  相似文献

High-spin states in107Sn were studied using the reaction54Fe(56Fe, 2pn)107Sn. An odd-parity band was identified as based on thevh 11/2 orbit by measuring theγ-ray linear polarization. Also were confirmed the excited states based on thevd 5/2 andvg 7/2 orbits. The halflives of the 17/2+ and 11/2? states were measured to be 0.25(4) ns and 28(11) ps, respectively. The experimental level structure and its interpretation were in good agreement with a shell model calculation.  相似文献

The isotopes 107Sn and 107In were produced through the 106Cd(3He, 2n)107Sn and 106Cd(3He, pn)107In reactions. They were studied by means of γ-spectroscopy, excitation functions, γγ coincidences and angular distributions of γ-rays. A level scheme is proposed for the newly discovered 107Sn, and new states belonging to 107In are given. Microscopic calculations have been performed in a three-quasiparticle approximation for a large number of tin isotopes in order to get a wide view of the systematic evolution of the various states.  相似文献

The reactive yellow 107 was polymerized by chemical oxidation method using potassium persulfate. The polymer was characterized by UV-VIS and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) spectral studies. The peaks at 2,922 and 2,852 cm−1 in the FTIR spectrum of polyreactive yellow 107 are assigned to the symmetric and asymmetric stretching vibrations of CH2. The peak observed at 1,583 cm−1 for polyreactive yellow 107 may be assigned to the stretching vibration of C=O, N=N, and C=C, 1,347 cm−1 stretching vibration of C–N. The stretching vibrations of sulfone and sulfonic acid of S=O groups show a strong broad peak at 1,091 and 1,051 cm−1. The conductivity of the polymer was determined to be 5.57 × 10−5 S cm−1. The solubility of the chemically polymerized powder was ascertained and polyreactive yellow 107 showed good solubility in N,N-dimethyl formamide and dimethyl sulfoxide. The X-ray diffraction studies revealed the formation of nano-sized (84 nm) crystalline polymer. Using X-ray diffraction, behavior strain and dislocation density was also calculated. Scanning electron microscope analysis showed uniform crystalline nature of the polymer (200 nm). The thermogravimetric analysis, differential thermal analysis, and differential scanning calorimetry studies revealed good thermal stability of the polymer.  相似文献

The nucleus107In was studied by in-beam spectroscopic methods in (HI, xn yp) reactions. Spin and parity values of some levels were determined by conversion electron andγ-ray measurements. Using the generalized centroid shift method, the half-lives T1/2(19/2+, 2003.6 keV)=0.6±0.2 ns and T1/2(17/2+, 1853.4 keV)=1.7±0.3 ns were measured. We report on the first measurements of the longitudinal polarization of positrons emitted by polarized nuclei, using cryogenically polarized107In. This so-called polarization-asymmetry correlation is very sensitive to the mass of a possible right-handed gauge boson, which is invoked by parity symmetric extensions of the standard V-A electroweak model to explain the experimentally observed strong violation of parity which, however, may not be complete. The positron polarization is deduced from the time-resolved decay spectrum of positronium hyperfine states. Our preliminary result points to a lower limit of about 210 GeV for the mass of an eventual right-handed charged W gauge boson. This result can still be improved.  相似文献

The high spin states of a neutron-rich ^107 Tc nucleus are reinvestigated by observing prompt γ-rays from the spontaneous fission of ^252 Cf. The previous level scheme is updated. A collective band based on the π5/2- [303] orbital is confirmed and extended. Inconsistencies in the configuration assignments for a type of positive parity bands of odd-A 105,107,109 Tc in the previous reports are clarified according to the g factor calculations. A new band based on the 1499.5 keV level in ^107Tc is proposed as a two-phonon γ-vibrational band.  相似文献
