被动谐波锁模掺Yb3+光纤环形激光器   总被引:2,自引:2,他引:2       下载免费PDF全文
 利用光纤的非线性偏振旋转效应产生可饱和吸收体的锁模机制,从掺Yb3+光纤环形激光器中得到稳定高阶谐波锁模光脉冲。理论分析了工作于正色散区的掺Yb3+光纤环形激光器的特性。实验中观测到了掺Yb3+光纤环形激光器3种不同演化方式产生高阶锁模光脉冲。4阶谐波锁模脉冲(107.2 MHz重复频率)经过1 m长高掺杂Yb3+光纤放大器放大后产生了平均功率100 mW,脉宽22.8 ps的脉冲,最后经过光栅压缩得到了平均输出功率20 mW,脉宽307 fs,脉冲中心波长1 051.2 nm,带宽13.76 nm的激光。  相似文献

用两只光纤光栅(FBG)作波长选择器件,实现了一种能同时输出两个不同重复频率的光脉冲序列的双波长主动锁模环形腔光纤激光器。通过调速外加调制信号的频率,使其中一个波长工作在谐波锁模状态,另一个波长工作在有理数谐波锁模状态,实验在2GHz和2.5GHz的调制频率下都成功地获得了双波长且重复频率不同的光脉冲序列,脉冲宽度分别约为60ps和45ps。  相似文献

提出并验证了一种基于光纤参量环形镜(OPLM)和光纤光栅(FBG)的60GHz光毫米波副载波产生方案。理论上分析了OPLM的原理特性,发现可以利用OPLM同时完成光子微波信号的高次谐波产生和抽运滤波,直接获得光毫米波副载波信号。在实验验证中,从5GHz的基频信号出发,通过调制非线性和OPLM中的四波混频和滤波过程,完成高次谐波产生和抽运分离,成功得到60GHz的光毫米波副载波信号,表现出良好的性能。  相似文献

报道了一种基于石墨烯被动锁模的全正色散掺镱环形光纤激光器. 在激光器腔中应用激光诱导沉积法制备的石墨烯可饱和吸收体, 通过调节抽运光功率和偏振控制器的角度分别得到了明脉冲及其二阶谐波, 暗明脉冲对和暗脉冲及其二、三阶谐波这三类不同的脉冲. 其中, 暗明脉冲对和暗脉冲在基于石墨烯被动锁模的掺镱光纤激光器实验中都是第一次被观察到. 本文根据实验结果结合模拟分析了暗脉冲的产生机理, 并研究对比了明脉冲谐波和暗脉冲谐波产生的原因.  相似文献

在理论上详细分析了利用非线性光学环形镜(NOLM)来减小输出脉冲幅度波动,消除噪声并对脉冲进行压缩整形的物理机制。在主动锁模掺铒光纤环形激光器中(AHML-EDFL)接入一个非线性光学环形镜,形成结构新颖的主被动锁模掺铒光纤激光器(APHML-EDFL),利用非线性光学环形镜所具有的饱和吸收体功能,成功地制抑了4阶有理数谐波锁模(RHML)中较大的幅度噪声,在1GHz量级的调制频率下,由主被动锁模掺铒光纤激光器获产生重复频率为5.1GHz,幅度相当稳定的4阶有理数谐波锁模脉冲序列。  相似文献

通过实验研究了利用不同分光比耦合器构成的光纤环形腔实现光数据包循环复制的效果,并理论分析了影响复制效果的结构因素。耦合器分光比、光纤环形腔中的损耗和噪声对复制效果有不同的影响。光纤环形腔中光放大器、滤波器的加入,以及光脉冲直流基座的降低,可以明显改善输出的幅值和复制序列长度。但实验显示,接近等幅复制的光放大会引起光纤环形腔的自激。在这一情况下,在输出端增加饱和半导体光放大器(SOA)可提高复制信号的识别效果。  相似文献

成功地利用有理数谐波锁模技术在主动谐波锁模掺饵光纤环形激光器中获九倍于调制频率fm的高重复率脉冲序列,所得最高锁模脉冲重复频率fp=4f≈6GHz。根据实验结果,本文指出有理数谐波锁模输出高阶光脉冲的物理机制、导致高阶输出脉冲脉宽展宽和幅度不稳定的原因以及消除幅度不稳定的具体办法。  相似文献

基于周期极化反转铌酸锂(PPLN)光波导级联倍频和差频(SHG+DFG)的二阶非线性效应,提出并实验研究了皮秒脉冲的可调谐波长转换以及单信道到双信道的波长转换.信号光采用重复频率为40 GHz,脉宽为1.57 ps的脉冲信号.连续抽运光由光纤环形腔激光器(FRL)提供.不同于传统的SHG+DFG型波长转换,信号光固定在PPLN光波导倍频过程的准相位匹配(QPM)波长处,通过调节抽运光的波长实现了转换空闲光的可调谐输出.当使用两个抽运光时实验观察到了单信道到双信道的波长转换.  相似文献

We present a compact second-harmonic-generation (SHG) microscope based on a three-port single-mode fiber coupler. The fiber coupler is used to deliver a near-infrared ultrashort-pulsed laser beam as well as to collect the SHG signal in the visible wavelength range. The SHG microscope exhibits an axial resolution of 1.8 microm, which shows a slight enhancement of the optical sectioning effect compared with that for two-photon excitation at the same excitation wavelength. It is also demonstrated that SHG and two-photon fluorescence images under parallel and perpendicular laser excitation polarization can be simultaneously obtained.  相似文献

Second-harmonic generation (SHG) in a near-field optical-fiber probe was observed. The tip of the probe consists of a triple-tapered fiber with an aluminum coating. For a fiber probe with an aperture size of 100 nm, the SHG conversion factor was 2.0 x 10(-11)cm(2)/W , which is as large as that of a 5-mm KDP crystal. In a probe-to-probe experiment, we demonstrated that SHG took place at the aluminum coating on the fiber probe.  相似文献

We propose a nonlinear optical probe method to image the distribution of collagen fiber orientation in human tissue by measuring the polarization of collagen-induced second-harmonic-generation (SHG) light (SHG polarimetry). Depth-resolved SHG polarimetry, with a depth resolution of 14 μm, was used to evaluate the cross-sectional profile of collagen fiber orientation in Achilles tendon and dentin, revealing a characteristic distribution of collagen orientation along the depth direction. We evaluated the two-dimensional (2D) lateral distribution of collagen fiber orientation in back reticular dermis and anklebone by polarization-resolved SHG imaging, and confirmed an appreciable difference in the distribution profiles of the two samples. We further extended the method to a depth-resolved measurement of the three-dimensional (3D) distribution of collagen orientation in anklebone. The proposed system promises to be a powerful tool for in vivo measurement of collagen fiber orientation in human tissue.  相似文献

A multiphoton microscope employing second-harmonic generation (SHG) and two-photon excited fluorescence (TPF) is used for high-resolution ex vivo imaging of rabbit cornea in a backscattering geometry. Endogenous TPF and SHG signals from corneal cells and extracellular matrix, respectively, are clearly visible without exogenous dyes. Spectral characterization of these upconverted signals provides confirmation of the structural origin of both TPF and SHG, and spectral imaging facilitates the separation of keratocyte and epithelial cells from the collagen-rich corneal stroma. The polarization dependence of collagen SHG is used to highlight fiber orientation, and three-dimensional SHG tomography reveals that approximately 88% of the stromal volume is occupied by collagen lamellae.  相似文献

We present an application of second-harmonic generation (SHG) microscopy for label-free visualization and quantification of the morphology of nerve fibers in the retina. We show that SHG arises from the retinal nerve fiber layer and that it is specifically associated with uniformly oriented microtubules in the axons. The utility of axonal SHG is demonstrated for imaging the neuroanatomy of fresh ex vivo retina, and the three-dimensional structure of the axons of retinal ganglion cells is quantitatively analyzed.  相似文献

LiNbO(3) single-crystal fibers with diameters of 63 and 230 mum were grown, and the second-harmonic-generation (SHG) process was studied with femtosecond laser pulses perpendicularly focused to the fiber. SHG occurred without collinear phase matching, leading to wavelength-independent overall conversion efficiency, unlike in a bulk crystal. The scattering pattern of the second harmonic exhibited an intense forward peak and an almost-uniform, less-intense distribution around the fiber, owing to trapping in high-Q whispering modes. Implementation of a second-order autocorrelator with the 63-mum fiber demonstrates its application potential.  相似文献

为了深入理解双包层光纤的光场传输特性,应用耦合模理论将双包层光纤等效为相互耦合的单模光纤和环形芯光纤,研究了圆对称的双包层光纤的光场传输.通过计算单模光纤LP01模和环形芯光纤导模的耦合系数发现了环形芯光纤LP0n模的耦合系数远大于其它导模的耦合系数,且LP0n模中的高阶模比低阶模的耦合系数大.据此,应用耦合模理论计算得到了该双包层光纤的光传输特性,计算结果发现光场沿光纤轴向呈近似周期分布,且纤芯中光功率变化的平均周期随波长递增,但平均归一化功率与光纤参数紧的选择有关.  相似文献

We theoretically simulate second-harmonic generation (SHG) in collagen under linearly polarized focused laser beam. With this model, the effects of numerical aperture (NA) and refractive index dispersion on SHG emission have been investigated. Dispersion properties of collagen are significant under incident wavelength in the visible range. Our results show that the efficient SHG is obtained by controlling the NA, and the higher NA is a necessity when the dispersion effect is considered. Our theoretical simulation results provide useful clues for experimental study of microscopic SHG emission in collagen excited by focused beam.  相似文献
