本文采用具有虚轴的空一时坐标系统,可以简洁而直观地阐述和计算洛仑兹空间一时间变换一般式、特例以及适度(加速度)、质量变换式和相对论多普勒效应.各变换式的推导都直接在空一时坐标中进行,即只用到基本假设而无需利用其它变换结果,文中引入的若干概念和一阶(二阶)导致变换式在阐述中是有用的。  相似文献

This paper discusses a new turn in the 148-year old electrodynamic force law controversy between the 1822 Ampère force law of the Newtonian electrodynamics and Grassmann's 1845 law which has become the electrodynamic force law of relativistic electromagnetism. Faced with the infallibility of Ampère's empirical law, defenders of relativity theory now argue that Ampère's law is equivalent to the relativistic law. This paper demonstrates that, far from being equivalent, the laws require two different mechanics of solid bodies, disagree on internally generated stresses, and predict different force distributions.  相似文献

We present a recent experiment [1] using space-like beamsplitters in motion revealing a new feature of quantum nonlocality: The correlations caused by two-particle quantum entanglement are not only independent of distance (as we already know from the conventional Bell-type experiments) but also independent of the time-ordering between the two single-photon measurements. Hence, it seems impossible to cast them in any real time ordering and maintain a causal explanation in which an earlier event influences a later one by arbitrarily fast communication.  相似文献

Inertial mass in relativity theory is discussed from a conceptual view. It is shown that though relativistic dynamics implies a particular dependence of the momentum of a free particle on its velocityin special relativity, which diverges as v approaches c, the inertial mass itself of a moving body remains constant, from any frame of observation. However, extension to general relativity does conceptually introduce variability of the inertial mass of a body, through a necessarily generally covariant field theory of inertia, when the Mach principle is incorporated into the theory of general relativity, as a theory of matter.  相似文献

The differential equations of motion of a relativistic variable mass system are given.By using the invariance of the differential equations under the infinitesimal transformations of groups,the determining equations and the restriction equations of the Lie symmetries of a relativistic variable mass system are built,and the structure equation and the conserved quantity of the Lie symmetries are obtained.Then the inverse problem of the Lie symmetries is studied.The corresponding Lie symmetries are found according to a known conserved quantity.An example is given to illustrate the application of the result.  相似文献

We point out novel consequences of general relativity involving tidal dynamics of ultrarelativistic relative motion. Specifically, we use the generalized Jacobi equation and its extension to study the force‐free dynamics of relativistic flows near a massive rotating source. We show that along the rotation axis of the gravitational source, relativistic tidal effects strongly decelerate an initially ultrarelativistic flow with respect to the ambient medium, contrary to Newtonian expectations. Moreover, an initially ultrarelativistic flow perpendicular to the axis of rotation is strongly accelerated by the relativistic tidal forces. The astrophysical implications of these results for jets and ultrahigh energy cosmic rays are briefly mentioned.  相似文献

Based on the statistical theory of non-extensive relativity,and using theoretical analysis and numerical simulation,the non-extensive mechanical stability of ultra-relativistic free Fermi gas is investigated.The expressions of the stability conditions under high and low temperatures are given,and the mechanisms of the influences of temperature,ultrarelativistic effect,and non-extensive parameter q on stability are analysed.Our results show that at high temperature and under the condition of q < 1,the stability of a non-extensive system is weaker than that of an extensive system,and the relativistic effect reduces system stability as compared with a non-relativistic system.However,under the condition of q > 1,the stability of the non-extensive system is stronger than that of the extensive system,and the relativistic effect strengthens the system stability as compared with the non-relativistic system.In addition,under the condition of low temperature,the variation of the stability of the non-extensive system with temperature has a turning point.  相似文献

The special relativity is the foundation for many branches of modern physics, of which the theoretical results are far beyond our daily experience and hard to realized in kinematic experiments. However, its outcomes could be demonstrated by making use of the convenient substitute, i.e., the squeezed light in the present paper. The squeezed light is very important in the field of quantum optics, and the corresponding transformation can be regarded as the coherent state of SU(1,1). In this paper, the connection between the squeezed operator and the Lorentz boost is built under certain conditions. Furthermore, the additional law of relativistic velocities and the angle of the Wigner rotation are deduced as well.  相似文献
