Nine sets of measurements aimed at searching for the influence of resonant environment on the half-life of the 109m Sn isomer have been performed during 14.7 months. The intensities of γ and X rays, emitted by two 261Mössbauer sources of identical design and size, were compared in these experiments. One of the sources was kept in the resonant environment of tin dioxide between measurements. No difference was found in the half-lives of 119m Sn that would be beyond the experimental errors (0.35%).  相似文献

Due to the virtual photon exchange between atomic nuclei and the field of zero-point electromagnetic oscillations, some nuclei of a given sample are in a virtual excited state with the lifetime ~?/E, where E is the energy of nuclear level. For 57Fe nuclei, whose first excited state has an energy of 14.4 keV, this time is equal to ~4.6×10?20 s. If a thin 57Fe Mössbauer gamma-ray absorber is surrounded by a thick screen of the same atoms, the number of virtual excited nuclei in the absorber decreases and, at first glance, it should more strongly absorb Mössbauer gamma rays emitted by an external source and passing through the absorber. In this work, the ratio of the intensities of 14.4-keV gamma rays emitted by the 57Fe nuclide and passing through the thin resonant absorber is measured in the absence and presence of the resonant screen around the absorber. Comparison shows that these ratios measured for the gamma source at rest and in the oscillating state differ by 0.00123±0.00075. This value should be treated as the upper limit for the desired effect under these experimental conditions.  相似文献

The product of the electron width of the J/ψ meson and the probability for its decay to an electron-positron pair was measured by using data from the KEDR experiment at the VEPP-4M electron-positron collider. The result was Γ ee × Γ ee /Γ = 0.3392 ± 0.0068(stat.) ± 0.0063(syst.) keV.  相似文献

The Mellin-Barnes representation is used to improve the theoretical estimate of mass corrections to the width of a light pseudoscalar meson decay into a lepton pair, Pl + l . The full resummation of the terms ln(m l 22)(m l 22) n and (m l 22) n to the decay amplitude is performed, where m l is the lepton mass and Λ ≈ m ρ is the characteristic scale of the P → γ*γ* form factor. The total effect of the mass corrections for the e + e channel is negligible and, for the μ+μchannel, its order is of a few percent. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

A precise investigation of radiative pion decay (π+e+νγ) in a pion beam from the meson factory of the Paul Scherrer Institute (Switzerland) was performed by the PIBETA Collaboration with the aid of the PIBETA detector. This resulted in finding 41 601 events of radiative pion decay in three kinematical regions. The absolute values of the branching ratio for radiative pion decay were determined in each of these regions. To a precision approximately four times higher than that known previously, the ratio of the axial-vector to the vector form factor was found to be γF A /F V = 0.443 (15), the latter being fixed at F V = 0.0259. The number of events found in the kinematical region specified by photon energies of Eγ > 55.6 MeV, positron energies of E e > 20.0 MeV, and angles of θγ, e > 40° between the momenta of the corresponding particles (B region) was 5233. In region B, the measured branching ratio for radiative pion decay, Rπ→evγ(expt) = 11.6(3) × 10?8, proved to be smaller by eight standard deviations than that which follows from the Standard Model, Rπ→evγ (theor) = 14.34(1) × 10?8.  相似文献

We consider the families of entire transcendental maps given by F λ,m (z) = λz m exp(z), where m ≥ 2. All functions F λ,m have a superattracting fixed point at z = 0, and a critical point at z = −m. In the parameter planes we focus on the capture zones, i.e., λ values for which the critical point belongs to the basin of attraction of z = 0, denoted by A(0). In particular, we study the main capture zone (parameter values for which the critical point lies in the immediate basin, A *(0)) and prove that is bounded, connected and simply connected. All other capture zones are unbounded and simply connected. For each parameter λ in the main capture zone, A(0) consists of a single connected component with non-locally connected boundary. For all remaining values of λ, A *(0) is a quasidisk. On a different approach, we introduce some families of holomorphic maps of which serve as a model for F λ,m , in the sense that they are related by means of quasiconformal surgery to F λ,m . Both authors were supported by MTM2005-02139/Consolider (including a FEDER contribution) and CIRIT 2005 SGR01028. We consider the π+π?π0γ final state in electron-positron annihilation at c.m.s. energies not far from the threshold. Both initial-and final-state radiations of the hard photon are considered, but without interference between them. The amplitude for the final-state radiation is obtained by using the effective Wess-Zumino-Witten Lagrangian for pion-photon interactions valid for low energies. In real experiments, energies are never so small that ρ and ω mesons would have a negligible effect. So a phenomenological Breit-Wigner factor is introduced in the final-state radiation amplitude to account for the vector mesons' influence. Using radiative 3π production amplitudes, a Monte Carlo event generator was developed which could be useful in experimental studies.  相似文献

We present an analysis of recent high-statistical KLOE data on φηπ0γ decay. This decay mainly goes through the a0γ intermediate state, which makes it possible to investigate properties of the a0. It is shown that KLOE data prefer a higher a0 mass and a considerably larger a0 coupling to the K\(\bar K\) than those obtained in the analysis of the KLOE group.  相似文献

The production of the lightest stable neutralino in the reaction with general mixing of the higgsino and gaugino is studied. General formulas for differential cross sections are presented. The decay η′ → ηπ 0 π 0 is studied in the framework of isobar model. It is shown, that good agreement with the experiment is achieved if α 0- and σ-meson contributions are taken into account. The contribution of α 0-meson is dominant, but σ-meson is necessary to reproduce the form of the Dalitz plot. Instead of the usual Breit-Wigner form of σ-meson propagator we use parametrization of the ππ-amplitude, which satisfies analyticity, crossing, unitarity and chirality constraints. This amplitude has a pole in the complex plane, which corresponds to σ-meson and describe experimental data on ππ-scattering in K e4 decay.  相似文献

To test the validity of perturbative QCD (pQCD) and investigate its range of application, one should look for a suitable process. BJ/ψ D is a promising candidate. The linear momentum of the products is relatively small, so that there may exist a region where exchanged gluons are soft and the perturbative treatment may fail, so that the non-perturbative effect would be significant. We attribute such non-perturbative QCD effects to the long-distance final-state interaction (FSI) which is estimated in this work. We find that the contribution from the FSI to the branching ratio is indeed sizable and may span the rather wide range of 10−6∼10−5 and cover a region where the pQCD prediction is of the same order. A more accurate measurement of its branching ratio may provide important information about the application region of pQCD and help to clarify the picture of inelastic rescattering (i.e. FSI), which is generally believed to play an important role in B decays.  相似文献

The static spherically symmetric solution for R ± μ 4/R model of f(R) gravity is investigated. We obtain the metric for space-time in the solar system that reduces to the Schwarzschild metric, when μ tends to zero. For the obtained metric, the deviation from Einstein gravity is very small. This result is different from the other results have been obtained by equivalence between f(R) gravity and scalar tensor theory. Also it is shown that the vacuum solution in the solar system depends on the shape of matter distribution which differ from the Einstein’s gravity.  相似文献

Strong final-state interactions create a pronounced cusp in η′→η π 0 π 0 decays. We adapt and generalize the non-relativistic effective field theory framework developed for the extraction of π π scattering lengths from K→3π decays to this case. The cusp effect is predicted to have an effect of more than 8% on the decay spectrum below the π + π threshold.  相似文献

The cross sections for the reaction ppppπ + π ? are measured at several values of the incident-proton energy. The resulting values are compared with other results, including values obtained previously for a deuteriumtarget, as well as with the predictions of a theoreticalmodel. This comparison reveals that, at energies below 850 MeV, the use of the impulse approximation in extracting the cross sections for double pion production on a free nucleon from data obtained with deuteron targets is illegitimate.  相似文献

The possibility of describing experimental data on the astrophysical S factor for radiative proton capture on a 13C nucleus at energies in the range 0.03–0.8 MeV is considered within the potential cluster model involving forbidden states. It is shown that the energy dependence of this astrophysical S factor can be reasonably explained on the basis of the E1 transition to the 3 P 1-wave bound state of the 14N nucleus in the p 13C channel from the 3 S 1 wave of p 13C scattering in the resonance energy region around 0.55 MeV in the laboratory frame.  相似文献

Some aspects of supersymmetric particles pair production in e + e ?-annihilation in processes \(e^ + + e^ - \to \tilde l^ + + \tilde l^ -\), \(e^ + + e^ - \to \tilde \chi ^ + + \tilde \chi ^ -\) are studied. Aparatus, in which long-lived charged particles deceleraition and accumulation take place, is considered. Binding energy of a negatively charged particle with nucleus is obtained. Probability of β-decay of a nucleus bounded with a long-lived negatively charged particle is considered.  相似文献

The A dependence of the production of K 0 and Λ is investigated for the first time in neutrino-nuclear reactions using the data obtained with the SKAT bubble chamber. An exponential parametrization (∼A β) of the particle yields results in = 0.20 ± 0.05 for V 0 particles (K 0 and Λ), while for π mesons the A dependence is much weaker ( = 0.068 ± 0.007). A nuclear enhancement of the ratio K 0/π is found; this ratio increases from 0.055 ± 0.013 for vN interactions up to 0.070 ± 0.011 at A ≈ 21 and 0.099 ± 0.011 at A ≈ 45. It is observed that the multiplicity rise of V 0 occurs predominantly in the backward hemisphere of the hadronic system. It is shown that the A dependence of the Λ0 and π yields can be reproduced in the framework of a model incorporating the secondary intranuclear interactions of pions originating from the primary vN interactions.
