This paper considers the general synchronization dynamics of coupled Van der Pol–Duffing oscillators. The linear and nonlinear stability analysis on the synchronization process is derived through the Whittaker method and the Floquet theory in addition to the multiple time scales method. A stability map displaying different dynamical states of the system is performed. Numerical simulation is carried out to support and to complement the accuracy of the analytical treatment.  相似文献

研究了含分数阶时滞耦合反馈的Duffing自治系统, 通过平均法得到了系统周期解的一阶近似解析形式, 定义了以反馈系数、分数阶阶次、时滞参数表示的等效刚度和等效阻尼系数, 发现分数阶时滞耦合反馈同时具有速度时滞反馈和位移时滞反馈的作用. 比较了三种参数条件下近似解析解与数值积分的结果, 二者的吻合精度都很高, 证明了近似解析解的正确性和准确性. 分析了反馈系数、分数阶阶次和非线性刚度系数等参数对系统分岔点、周期解稳定性、周期解的存在范围、零解的稳定性以及稳定性切换次数等系统动力学特性的影响.  相似文献

This paper applies washout filter technology to amplitude control of limit cycles emerging from Hopf bifurcation of the van der Pol--Duffing system. The controlling parameters for the appearance of Hopf bifurcation are given by the Routh--Hurwitz criteria. Noticeably, numerical simulation indicates that the controllers control the amplitude of limit cycles not only of the weakly nonlinear van der Pol--Duffing system but also of the strongly nonlinear van der Pol--Duffing system. In particular, the emergence of Hopf bifurcation can be controlled by a suitable choice of controlling parameters. Gain-amplitude curves of controlled systems are also drawn.  相似文献

A non-local control force is introduced in such a way to obtain a third-order nonlinear differential equation (jerk dynamics) and to control nonlinear vibrations in an externally excited van der Pol oscillator. Two first-order nonlinear ordinary differential equations governing the modulation of the amplitude and the phase of solutions are derived and subsequently the performance of the control strategy is investigated. Excitation amplitude–response and frequency–response curves are shown. In certain cases when the excitation amplitude is very low an approximate analytic solution corresponding to a modulated two-period quasi-periodic motion can be obtained for the uncontrolled system. Uncontrolled and controlled systems are compared and the appropriate choices for the feedback gains are found in order to reduce the amplitude peak of the response and to exclude the possibility of quasi-periodic motion. Numerical simulation confirms the validity of the new method.  相似文献

In this work, a powerful analytical method, called He’s parameter-expanding methods (HPEM) is used to obtain the exact solutions of non-linear modified Van der Pol’s oscillator. The classical Van der Pol equation with delayed feedback and a modified equation where a delayed term provides the damping are considered. It is shown that one term in series expansions is sufficient to obtain a highly accurate solution, which is valid for the whole solution domain. Comparison of the obtained solution with those obtained using perturbation method shows that this method is effective and convenient to solve this problem. This method introduces a capable tool to solve this kind of non-linear problems.  相似文献

设计反馈控制器,对一类耦合的van der Pol振子的极限环幅值进行控制. 用近似解析方法求出了控制系统的幅值的控制方程, 得到了控制参数与极限环幅值的函数关系, 使系统的振幅能按需求得到有效地调整. 通过数值计算绘制了在不同控制参数下, 系统响应的时间历程曲线和极限环. 近似解析方法计算得到的结果与数值计算进行了比较,两者是符合的. 这一方法也可以推广应用到其他耦合的van der Pol振子.  相似文献

A crisis in a Duffing--van del Pol system with fuzzy uncertainties is studied by means of the fuzzy generalised cell mapping (FGCM) method. A crisis happens when two fuzzy attractors collide simultaneously with a fuzzy saddle on the basin boundary as the intensity of fuzzy noise reaches a critical point. The two fuzzy attractors merge discontinuously to form one large fuzzy attractor after a crisis. A fuzzy attractor is characterized by its global topology and membership function. A fuzzy saddle with a complicated pattern of several disjoint segments is observed in phase space. It leads to a discontinuous merging crisis of fuzzy attractors. We illustrate this crisis event by considering a fixed point under additive and multiplicative fuzzy noise. Such a crisis is fuzzy noise-induced effects which cannot be seen in deterministic systems.  相似文献

The motive behind the current work is to perform the solution of the Van der Pol–Duffing jerk oscillator, involving fractional-order by the simplest method. An effective procedure has been introduced for executing the fractional-order by utilizing a new method without the perturbative approach. The approach depends on converting the fractional nonlinear oscillator to a linear oscillator with an integer order. In this Letter, analytical conditions for the sinusoidal synchronization of the pendulum and Duffing oscillator are presented. From the analytical conditions, the invariant domain of such sinusoidal synchronization is determined, and the control parameter map of the synchronicity is achieved. Under specific parameters, numerical illustrations of the partial and full sinusoidal synchronizations of the controlled Duffing oscillator with the pendulum are carried out for a better understanding of such synchronization under specific function constraints. The methodology presented in this Letter is applicable to synchronizations with any specific function constraints.  相似文献

A sea-air oscillator model is studied using the time delay theory. The aim is to find an asymptotic solving method for the El Nino-southern oscillation (ENSO) model. Employing the perturbed method, an asymptotic solution of the corresponding problem is obtained. The dynamics of the four dissipatively coupled van der Pol oscillators is considered. Lyapunov chart is presented in the parameter plane. Its arrangement is discussed. We discuss the bifurcations of tori in the system at large frequency detuning of the oscillators. Here are quasi-periodic saddle-node, Hopf and Neimark–Sacker bifurcations. The effect of increase of the threshold for the “amplitude death” regime and the possibilities of complete and partial broadband synchronization are revealed.  相似文献

以一类含非黏滞阻尼的Duffing单边碰撞系统为研究对象, 运用复合胞坐标系方法, 分析了该系统的全局分岔特性. 对于非黏滞阻尼模型而言, 它与物体运动速度的时间历程相关, 能更真实地反映出结构材料的能量耗散现象. 研究发现, 随着阻尼系数、松弛参数及恢复系数的变化, 系统发生两类激变现象: 一种是混沌吸引子与其吸引域内的混沌鞍发生碰撞而产生的内部激变, 另一种是混沌吸引子与吸引域边界上的周期鞍(混沌鞍)发生碰撞而产生的常规边界激变(混沌边界激变), 这两类激变都使得混沌吸引子的形状发生突然改变. 关键词: 非黏滞阻尼 Duffing碰撞振动系统 激变 复合胞坐标系方法  相似文献

We propose a system of concealed information transfer based on a delayed feedback oscillator with switchable chaotic regimes. The proposed system is analyzed numerically and experimentally. The dependences of the bit error rate during transmission of a binary information signal on the signal-to-noise ratio, attenuation of the signal in the communication channel, and the duration of the time interval during which a bit is transferred are constructed. The high stability of the system to noise and amplitude distortions of a signal in the communication channel is demonstrated.  相似文献

The bifurcation resulted from moving force may lead to instability for the system. Based on time delay feedback controller, a nonlinear beam under moving load is discussed in the case of the primary resonance and the 1/3 subharmonic resonance. The bifurcation may be eliminated or the bifurcation point's position may be changed. The perturbation method is used to obtain the bifurcation equation of the nonlinear dynamic system. The result indicates time delay feedback controller may work well on this system, but the selection of a proper time delay and its coefficient may depend on the engineering condition. In an actively controlled system, time delay exists inevitably. Neglecting time delay may cause degradation of control performance or even induce instability to the dynamic system. In this paper, instantaneous optimal control method for vibration control of linear sampled-data systems with time delay in control is investigated. By a peculiar integral transformation, the first order state equation with time delay is transformed into the standard first order state equation, which contains no time delay. Then the optimal controller is designed based on the numerical algorithm of the regular fourth order Runge-Kutta method. Since the obtained controller contains integral term, which is not practical for control implementation, the numerical algorithm for this integral term is investigated too. Since the controller is deduced directly from the time-delay differential equation, the control method presented is prone to guarantee system stability. Thus the presented control method can be applicable to the case of large time delay. The performance of the control method is demonstrated by numerical simulation. Simulation results indicate that this control method is feasible and is an attractive strategy for dealing with the time delay in vibration control systems and is effective in suppressing maximum structural responses. Instability in structural responses may occur if the systems with time delay are controlled using the controller designed in the case of no time delay.  相似文献
