BaTiO3 powders are prepared by sol-gel method. The carbonyl iron powder is prepared via thermal decomposition of iron pentacarbonyl. Then BaTiO3-carbonyl iron composite with different mixture ratios was prepared using the as-prepared material. The structure, morphology, and properties of the composites are characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and a network analyzer. The complex permittivity and reflection loss of the composites have been measured at different microwave frequencies in S- and C-bands employing vector network analyzer model PNA 3629D vector. The effect of the mass ratio of BaTiO3/carbonyl iron on the microwave loss properties of the composites is investigated. A possible microwave absorbing mechanism of BaTiO3-carbonyl iron composite has been proposed. The BaTiO3-carbonyl iron composite can find applications in suppression of electromagnetic interference, and reduction of radar signature.  相似文献

To improve the microwave absorption ability, hybrid particles containing both dielectric loss of BaTiO3 and magnetic loss of Ni were fabricated via electroless Ni plating on BaTiO3 particles. A continuous Ni coating was successfully covered on the surface of the BaTiO3. The effect of the Ni content on complex permittivity, complex permeability, and microwave absorption properties of BaTiO3/Ni hybrid particles was investigated. The real (?′) and imaginary (?″) parts of complex permittivity as well as imaginary part of complex permeability (μ″) were found to increase with an increase in Ni content, while the variation of the real part of complex permeability (μ′) with Ni content was non-linear. The microwave absorption performances could readily be tuned base on the changing Ni content of the hybrid particles. The optimal absorption performances were attained when the content of Ni reached 38.9 wt% in hybrid particles.  相似文献

The influence of La2O3 and Tm2O3 co-doping on the dielectric properties and the temperature stability of BaTiO3 was investigated. BaTiO3 ceramics were prepared with the compositional formula of (Ba1−xLax)(Ti1-x/4−yTmy)O3. La2O3 and Tm2O3 co-doping in BaTiO3 mainly had effects on an increase in the dielectric constant and the temperature stability, respectively. The increase of La2O3 concentration and the decrease of Tm2O3 concentration in BaTiO3 resulted in a decrease of lattice parameter and tetragonality because La3+ ion substituting for Ba site is smaller than Ba2+ ion and Tm3+ ion substituting for Ti site is larger than Ti4+ ion. With the increase of La2O3 and the decrease of Tm2O3, the dielectric constant of BaTiO3 was enhanced in spite of the reduction of tetragonality. P-E hysteresis measurements revealed that this phenomenon was based on the improvement of remanent polarization with the increase of La2O3 concentration. The introduction of excess Tm2O3 in BaTiO3 suppressed the grain growth and BaTiO3 ceramics showed higher temperature stability due to the stable tetragonal structure and the small grain size with the increase of Tm2O3 concentration.  相似文献

BaTiO3 nanoparticles prepared by wet chemical method were thermally grown onto well cleaned glass substrates under the vacuum of 2 × 10−5 Torr, using 12A4 Hind Hivac coating unit. An Al–BaTiO3–Al sandwich structure has been used for electrical conduction properties in the temperature range 303–423 K. The composition of nanoparticles and thin films were identified by EDS spectrum. The structural studies have been performed by the X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique. The X-ray analysis showed that the nano particle has a tetragonal structure and deposited films at a lower thickness amorphous in nature, whereas the crystallinity increases with increase of thickness. In the DC conduction studies, the current–voltage characteristics of the films showed ohmic conduction in the low voltage region. In the higher voltage region, a space charge limited conduction (SCLC) takes place due to the presence of the trapping level. The activation energy was estimated and the values found to decrease with increasing applied voltage. The zero field value of the activation energy is found to be 0.31 eV. The free carrier mobility, carrier density and trap density values were calculated and reported in this paper.  相似文献

Microwave absorbing characteristics of carbonyl iron/epoxy resin composite with various volume concentrations were investigated in 0.1-18 GHz. According to the electromagnetic parameters and thicknesses of the sample, numerical calculation and experiment have demonstrated that the frequency dependence of the microwave absorption comply with the quarter-wavelength (λ/4) matching model that may explain not only the peak frequency but also the number of the peaks. It implies that the quarter-wavelength condition can be successfully applied to understand and predict the peak frequency of the microwave absorption for ferromagnetic metal-based composites.  相似文献

采用水热法制得表面包裹有十二烷基苯磺酸(DBS)和硬脂酸(St)的BaTiO3纳米粒子,平均粒径均为60nm左右.拉曼光谱检测结果表明,样品的确为表面包裹有表面活性剂(DBS或St)的BaTiO3纳米粒子集合体.与未包裹的相比,各光学声子模对应的拉曼振动模式峰均发生了蓝移.还发现不同的包裹体,所导致的蓝移值也不同.从纳米粒子的表面结构及包裹层的压力出发对此现象进行了定性解释和讨论. 关键词: 拉曼光谱 3纳米粒子')" href="#">DBS/ BaTiO3纳米粒子 蓝移  相似文献

A polymeric precursor method was used to synthesize BaTiO3 amorphous thin film processed at low temperature. The luminescence spectra of BaTiO3 amorphous thin films at room temperature revealed an intense single-emission band in the visible region. The visible emission band was found to be dependent of the thermal treatment history. Photoluminescence (PL) properties for different annealing temperatures were investigated. It was concluded that the intensity of PL is strongly dependent on both the heat treatment of the films and the presence of an inorganic disordered phase. Experimental optical absorption measurements showed the presence of a tail. These results are interpreted by the nature of these exponential optical edges and tails, associated with defects promoted by the disordered structure of the amorphous material. We discuss the nature of visible PL at room temperature in amorphous barium titanate in the light of the results of recent experimental and quantum mechanical theoretical studies. Our investigation of the electronic structure involved the use of first-principle molecular calculations to simulate the variation of the electronic structure in the barium titanate crystalline phase, which is known to have a direct band gap, and we also made an in-depth examination of amorphous barium titanate.  相似文献

We have used in situ photoemission spectroscopy to investigate Niobium doping in polycristalline BaTiO3. The valence band maximum position progressively shifts from 2.5 eV for undoped to 2.84 eV for Nb-doped films. Ceramics and single crystal have been investigated for comparison with thin films. Nb-doped BaTiO3 ceramics and Nb-doped SrTiO3 single crystal show higher Fermi level position indicating that our doped films are less conducting regarding their bulk parents. This was confirmed by impedance spectroscopy under variable temperature. Large amount of niobium is clearly observable at surface but the amount of dopant is drastically reduced below the near-surface region, as evidenced by depth profile. Therefore, we provide evidence of surface segregation which would explain the contrasted resistivity values reported in literature for such donor-doped films.  相似文献

X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic (XPS) studies were carried out on wet-chemically synthesized cubic BaTiO3, Ba0.9Nd0.1TiO3 and BaTi0.9Fe0.1O3−δ powders. The compounds were prepared by hydrothermal and gel to crystallite conversion technique; and phases formed readily at 420 K. The phase purity of the powders was confirmed from X-ray diffractometry. Chemical state and chemical environment of the constituent elements in the compositions were examined by XPS. Ba2+ was found to exist in two different chemical environments in these titanates. The Ti 2p3/2 photoelectron peak in BaTi0.9Fe0.1O3−δ was found to be broadened after Fe3+ substitution. Any resolvable broadening was not observed distinctly in the Ti 2p peak for Ba0.9Nd0.1TiO3, unsintered BaTiO3 and BaTiO3 annealed in hydrogen (8% H2 + Ar) at 1000 K. The prevalence of mixed-valent titanium and iron in BaTi0.9Fe0.1O3−δ composition was evident from the XPS results and was further supported by the enhanced electrical conductivity at 298-550 K for BaTi0.9Fe0.1O3−δ in comparison to BaTiO3 and Ba0.9Nd0.1TiO3. Hydroxyl incorporation was facilitated by substituting Nd3+ in Ba-sublattice. The presence of hydroxyls was observed from the broadening of the O 1s peak in XPS studies of the compounds.  相似文献

La1−xAgxMnO3 perovskites with different doping Ag-content were prepared by the sol–gel method. The electromagnetic characteristics and microwave loss behavior of these ion-doped rare-earth manganites were studied in the 2–18 GHz frequency range. The microstructure and morphology of the samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) techniques. The complex permittivity spectra, the complex permeability spectra and microwave reflection loss were measured by a microwave vector network analyzer system. The XRD patterns show that the crystalline perovskite main phase ABO3 is formed and impurity phases disappear when calcined at 1100 °C, and Ag metal as an impurity phase appears when excessive Ag+ is doped. The SEM image indicates that many of the La0.85Ag0.15MnO3 particles are fiber-like or ellipsoidal. Magnetic loss and dielectric loss coexist and cooperate in microwave attenuation by moderate substitution of Ag+ for La3+. The microwave absorption property of the La0.85Ag0.15MnO3 sample is enhanced with the bandwidth below −10 dB at about 6 GHz and the peak value of reflection loss is near −25.0 dB at the layer thickness of 2 mm.  相似文献

Multiwalled carbon nanotubes and BaTiO3 composite films have been prepared by pulsed-laser deposition technique at room temperature and high temperature of 600℃, separately. The structures of the composite films are investigated by using scanning electron microscopy and x-ray diffraction. The optical behaviours of the samples produced at different temperatures are compared with Raman spectroscopy, and UV-visible absorption. And the observation by Z-scan technique reveals that the composite films have a larger optical nonlinearity, and the samples prepared at high temperatures have better transmittance and opposite sign imaginary part of optical third-order nonlinearity.  相似文献

In this work carbonyl iron/La0.6Sr0.4MnO3 composites were prepared to develop super-thin microwave absorbing materials. The complex permittivity, permeability and microwave absorption properties are investigated in the frequency range of 8-12 GHz. An optimal reflection loss of −12.4 dB is reached at 10.5 GHz with a matching thickness of 0.8 mm. The thickness of carbonyl iron/La0.6Sr0.4MnO3 absorber is thinner, compared with conventional carbonyl iron powders with the same absorption properties. The bandwidth with a reflection loss exceeding −7.4 dB is obtained in the whole measured frequency range with the thickness of 0.8 mm. The excellent microwave absorption properties are attributed to a better electromagnetic matching established by the combination of the enhanced dielectric loss and nearly invariable magnetic loss with the addition of La0.6Sr0.4MnO3 nanoparticles in the composites. Our work indicates that carbonyl iron/La0.6Sr0.4MnO3 composites may have an important application in wide-band and super-thin electromagnetic absorbers in the frequency range of 8−12 GHz.  相似文献

Al2O3/FeCrAl composite coatings were fabricated by atmosphere plasma spraying technique. Microstructure and dielectric properties in the frequency range from 8.2 to 12.4 GHz were investigated. The microstructure of composite coatings shows a uniform dispersion of metal particles with litter pores and microcracks in the composite coatings. The relaxation polarization and interfacial polarization in the coatings would contribute to enhance ?′ with rising FeCrAl content, and the associated loss could be considered as a dominating factor enhancing ?″. By calculating the microwave-absorption as a single-layer absorber, for the composite coatings with 41 wt.% FeCrAl content, the reflection loss values exceeding −10 dB are achieved in the frequency range of 9.1-10.6 GHz when the coating thickness is 1.3 mm.  相似文献

BaTiO3+MgFe2O4 material system was synthesized by hybrid chemical process using chlorides and nitrates of barium, titanium, iron, and magnesium. Magnetic properties of the composite samples measured as a function of annealing conditions indicated soft magnetic behavior. Saturation specific magnetization from 8 21 emu/g was observed for samples annealed at temperature between 950 and 1150 °C. Variation of specific saturation magnetization with respect to annealing temperature was related with the distribution of Fe cations in the tetrahedral and octahedral sites of MgFe2O4. Electrical properties of the samples annealed at different temperatures were measured to analyze the coexistence of ferroelectric phase. Dielectric constant varying from 15 to 200 with respect to frequency was observed for samples annealed from 950 to 1150 °C.  相似文献
