The emulsifying and oil-in-water stabilizing properties of methylcellulose (MeC) were investigated in bovine serum albumin (BSA)-based emulsions. The creaming stability, flocculation, surface concentration of BSA and MeC and droplet size were determined. Results obtained showed modifications of creaming rates that were related to MeC concentrations in the continuous and dispersed phases. Viscosity effects on creaming and changes in average droplet size (d43) relating to droplet coverage were identified and delineated. Studies performed on macroscopic oil–water and air–water interfaces were used to identify interfacial structuring and composition. A good agreement was found between droplet surface composition and the resistance to coalescence of emulsion droplets. Emulsions that demonstrated a more rigid-like adsorbed interfacial layer were more stable with respect to coalescence. This study involving model emulsion systems provides a new insight into the stability of industrial preparations containing mixtures of proteins and polysaccharides.  相似文献

Spreading of partially crystallized oil droplets on an air/water interface   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
The influence of crystalline fat on the amount and rate of oil spreading out of emulsion droplets onto either a clean or a protein-covered air/water interface was measured for β-lactoglobulin stabilized emulsions prepared with either anhydrous milk fat or a blend of hydrogenated palm fat and sunflower oil. At a clean interface, liquid oil present in the emulsion droplets was observed to completely spread out of the droplets unimpeded by the presence of a fat crystal network. Further, the presence of a fat crystal network in the emulsion droplets had no effect on the rate of oil spreading out of the droplets. At a protein-covered interface, the spreading behavior of emulsion droplets containing crystalline fat was evaluated in terms of the value of the surface pressure (ΠAW) at the point of spreading; ΠAW at spreading was unaffected by the presence of crystalline fat. We conclude it is unlikely that the role of crystalline fat in stabilizing aerated emulsions such as whipped cream is to reduce oil spreading at the air/water interface. However, the temperature of the system did have an effect: spontaneous spreading of emulsion droplets at clean air/water interfaces occurred for systems measured at 5 °C, but not for those measured at 22 or 37 °C. Thus, temperature may play a more important role in the whipping process than commonly thought: the entering and spreading of emulsion droplets was favored at lower temperatures because the surface pressure exerted by protein adsorbed at the air/water interface was reduced. An η1-butadienyl complex [trans-η1-CH2=C(Me)C=CH2Pd(PPh3)2Cl] (1) reacted with [(μ-η2:η2-1,3-butadiene)Pd2(PPh3)(μCl)Cl] (2) to result in displacement of the diene ligand of 2 accompanied by exchange of PPh3 of 1 with Cl anion of 2 producing a butadienyl tripalladium cluster [(μ-CH2=C(Me)C=CH2)Pd(PPh3)Cl2 · Pd2(PPh3)2(μ-Cl)] (3) stabilized by the zwitterionic structure in moderate yield. The X-ray structure analysis of 3 revealed rigid binding of [Pd2(PPh3)2(μ-Cl)]+ and [CH2 =C(Me)C=CH2Pd(PPh3)Cl2] through the π-bond coordination of the butadienyl group to the dipalladium cation.  相似文献

The reactions of γ-irradiation on 5 nm β-FeOOH in the presence of isopropanol and water have been investigated. In the initial stage of the γ-irradiation, β-FeOOH turned into -FeOOH. With the γ-irradiation continued, -FeOOH was slowly reduced to Fe3O4. After the γ-irradiation with a dose of 64.3 kGy, all the β-FeOOH and -FeOOH disappeared and the product was a single phase of Fe3O4, which had an average particle size of 54 nm. The process of this reaction is discussed. The γ-irradiation of β-FeOOH should be a new method of preparing magnetite.  相似文献

Casein is well known to be a good protein emulsifier and β-casein is the major component of casein and commercial sodium caseinate. This work studies the behaviour of β-casein at the interface. The interfacial characteristics (structure and stability) of β-casein spread films have been examined at the air–water interface in a Langmuir-type film balance, as a function of temperature (5–40°C) and aqueous phase pH (pH 5 and 7). From surface pressure–area isotherms (πA isotherms) as a function of temperature we can draw a phase diagram. β-Casein spread films present two structures and the collapse phase. That is, there is a critical surface pressure and a surface concentration at which the film properties change significantly. This transition depends on the temperature and the aqueous phase pH. The film structure was observed to be more condensed and β-casein interfacial density was higher at pH 5. β-Casein films were stable at surface pressures lower than equilibrium surface pressure. In fact, no hysteresis was observed in πA isotherms after continuous compression-expansion cycles or over time. The relative area relaxation at constant surface pressure (10 or 20 mN m−1) and the surface pressure relaxation at constant area near the monolayer collapse, can be fitted by two exponential equations. The characteristic relaxation times in β-casein films can be associated with conformation–organization changes, hydrophilic group hydration and/or surface rheology, as a function of pH.  相似文献

In this article, the phase compositions, thermal, mechanical and transport properties of both the SrCo0.8Fe0.2O3−δ (SCF) and the SrCo0.8Fe0.1Sn0.1O3−δ (SSCF) ceramic membranes were investigated systematically. As compared with the SCF membrane, the SSCF one had a more promoted thermal shock resistance, which related to its small thermal expansion coefficient between them and an enhanced composite structure for it. For the SCF membrane, a permeation rate of 1.9 × 10−6 mol cm−2 s−1 was obtained at 1000 °C and under the oxygen partial pressure gradient of PO2 (h)/PO2 (l) = 0.209 atm/0.012 atm; however, the permeation rate was 2.5 × 10−6 mol cm−2 s−1 for the SSCF one in the same measuring condition. In addition, both peak values of total electrical conductivity (σe) for SSCF sample appeared with increasing temperature. The second peak value of σe for SSCF one was regarded as the contribution from its minor phase, which appeared with the mixed conducting behavior resulting from partly Co-dissolving into its lattice.  相似文献

The paper presents a new method for predicting the frequency of the b1 mode, which is infrared-inactive, in complexes of the type LM(CO)5 belonging to C4V point group. The method was based on the relation λ3=λ4+[(1−δ/δ)](λ1λ2), where δ=(λ1λ2)/(λ1λ2+λ3λ4), λ1, λ2, λ3 and λ4 are the λ parameters of the , , b1 and e modes, respectively. For a large numbers of complexes of the type LM(CO)5 the average value of δ was found to be 0.80, with a standard deviation of 0.02. With the use of average value of δ, the frequencies of b1 mode were estimated. The result obtained indicated that there exists a rather good fit between observed and calculated frequencies, with a mean error of 2.7 cm−1. In addition, it was shown that the δ parameter can be used as a criterion of the correct band assignment for the complexes understudy.  相似文献

Since the discovery of superconductivity in Sr2CuO2F2+δ there has been an increased interest in ternary oxide-fluorides. Sr2CuO2F2+δ is prepared via low temperature (T = 220 °C) reaction routes. Low temperature fluorination induces an interesting structural rearrangement in the parent compound Sr2CuO3, which is a one-dimensional material containing linear chains of vertex sharing CuO4 squares along the crystallographic b axis. Upon fluorination, one oxide is substituted by two fluorides and Cu2+ becomes octahedrally coordinated by four oxides and two fluorides. The fluorinated compound Sr2CuO2F2+δ displays the T-type structure (La2CuO4). Insertion of excess fluorine, δ, also takes place and this fluorine occupies interstitial sites in the T structure. Although the starting material Ca2CuO3 is isostructural to Sr2CuO3, Ca2CuO2F2+δ displays the T′ (Nd2CuO4) structure due to the smaller radius of Ca2+ compared to that of Sr2+.

The alkaline-earth palladates with the general formula A2PdO3 (A = Ba, Sr) are isostructural with the A2CuO3(A = Ca, Sr) materials. We prepared the Ba2xSrxPdO3 (x = 0–2) series and performed low temperature fluorination, which led to the synthesis of the series Ba2xSrxPdO2F2+δ (0 ≤ x ≤ 1.5). All the compounds in the Ba2xSrxPdO2F2+δ series show T′ structure (Ca2CuO2F2+δ). Similarities and differences with Sr2CuO2F2+δ and Ca2CuO2F2+δ will be discussed.  相似文献

The ionic coupling of [Os4H2(CO)12]2− with [Ru(η6-C6H6)(MeCN)3]2+ affords the neutral mixed metal cluster Os4Ru(μH)2(CO)12(η6-C6H6) 1. The reaction of 1 with trimethylphosphite leads to the initial formation of the addition product Os4Ru(μH)2(CO)12(η6-C6H6)P(OMe)3 2, but this complex rearranges in solution to give Os4Ru(μ-H)3(CO)12(μ3-η6-C6H5)P(OMe)3 3. An X-ray structure of 3 shows that the metal core of the cluster is a ruthenium-spiked Os4 tetrahedron, with one hydrogen atom from the arene having transferred to the Os4 core, and one arene carbon bridging an Os-Os edge, while the ring as a whole remains η6-bound to the Ru atom.  相似文献

Reaction of trans-[Pt(H)2(PCy3)2], 1, with [60]fullerene at room temperature affords [Pt(PCy3)2(η2-C60)], 2, in nearly quantitative yield. The most probable reaction pattern is the insertion of a fullerene 6,6 junction onto a Pt-H bond yielding an η1 alkyl derivative which, after hydrogen extrusion, gives 2. On the other hand, addition of 1 to different electron-deficient olefins, such as dimethyl maleate and fumarate, furnishes mixtures of both η1 metal—alkyl and η2 metal—olefin derivatives. If tetrachloroethylene is used as 2π component, trans-[PtCl(H)(PCy3)2] forms exclusively.  相似文献

A series of CexPr1−xO2−δ mixed oxides were synthesized by a sol–gel method and characterized by Raman, XRD and TPR techniques. The oxidation activity for CO, CH3OH and CH4 on these mixed oxides was investigated. When the value x was changed from 1.0 to 0.8, only a cubic phase CeO2 was observed. The samples were greatly crystallized in the range of the value x from 0.99 to 0.80, which is due to the formation of solid solutions caused by the complete insertion of Pr into the CeO2 crystal lattices. Raman bands at 465 and 1150 cm−1 in CexPr1−xO2−δ samples are attributed to the Raman active F2g mode of CeO2. The broad band at around 570 cm−1 in the region of 0.3 ≤ x ≤ 0.99 can be linked to oxygen vacancies. The new band at 195 cm−1 may be ascribed to the asymmetric vibration caused by the formation of oxygen vacancies. The TPR profile of Pr6O11 shows two reduction peaks and the reduction process is followed: . The reduction temperature of CexPr1−xO2−δ mixed oxides is lower than those of Pr6O11 or CeO2. TPR results indicate that CexPr1−xO2−δ mixed oxides have higher redox properties because of the formation of CexPr1−xO2−δ solid solutions. The presence of the oxygen vacancies favors CO and CH3OH oxidation, while the activity of CH4 oxidation is mostly related to reduction temperatures and redox properties.  相似文献

Oil-in-water emulsions (60% oil (w/w)) were prepared using whey protein aggregates as the sole emulsifying agent. The effects of whey protein aggregate size (the diameter between 0.92 and 10.9?µm), the pH of emulsions (4–8.6) and storage time on physical properties, droplet size, and stability of emulsions were investigated. The results indicate that increment of whey protein aggregate size caused an increase in the firmness, droplet size, and viscosity of emulsions, and also a decrease in the emulsion creaming. The emulsion viscosity, firmness, and droplet size were reduced by increasing the emulsion pH; however, the creaming process was accelerated. Viscosity, creaming, and droplet size of emulsions were increased slightly during 21 days storage at 40°C.  相似文献

An overview on the variation of the thermal expansion, the electrical conductivity as well as non-stoichiometry of the oxide content as a function of composition within the quasi-ternary system La0.8Sr0.2MnO3−δ–La0.8Sr0.2CoO3−δ–La0.8Sr0.2FeO3−δ in air is presented. The various powders were synthesized under identical conditions. The DC electrical conductivity values of the compositions at 800 °C in air vary in a wide range from 15 to 1338 S cm−1. The magnitude of electrical conductivity of the perovskites is mainly determined by the percentage of cobalt in the compositions. A similar behaviour was observed for the measured thermal expansion coefficients between room temperature and 1000 °C in air, increasing from 10.9 to 19.4 × 10−6 K−1 as a function of cobalt content. Changes in the oxygen stoichiometry of the materials were characterized by temperature-programmed oxidation measurements.  相似文献

Synthesis, structure, spectroscopy and thermal properties of complex [Co(NCS)2(hmt)2(H2O)2][Co(NCS)2(H2O)4] (H2O) (I), assembled by hexamethylenetetramine and octahedral Co(II) metal ions, are reported. Crystal data for I: Fw 387.34, a=9.020(8), b=12.887(9), c=7.95(1) Å, =96.73(4), β=115.36(5), γ=94.16(4)°, V=820(1) Å3, Z=2, space group=P−1, T=173 K, λ(Mo-K)=0.71070 Å, ρcalc=1.718567 g cm−3, μ=17.44 cm−1, R=0.088, Rw=0.148. An interesting two-dimensional network is assembled via hydrogen bonds through coordinated and free water molecules. The d–d transition energy levels of Co(II) ion are determined by UV–vis spectroscopy and calculated by ligand field theory. The calculated results agree well with experiment ones.  相似文献

To investigate the emulsifying properties and adsorption behaviour of high molecular amphiphilic substances such as proteins, it is important to maintain the native status of the used samples. The new method of micro porous glass (MPG) emulsification could offer an opportunity to do this because of the low shear forces. The oil-in-water emulsions were produced by dispersing the hydrophobic phase (liquid butter fat or sunflower oil) through the MPG of different average pore diameters (dp=0.2 or 0.5 μm) into the flowing continuous phase containing the milk proteins (from reconstituted skim milk and buttermilk). The emulsions were characterised by particle size distribution, creaming behaviour and protein adsorption at the hydrophobic phase. The particle size distribution of protein-stabilised MPG emulsions is determined by the pore size of MPG, the velocity of continuous phase (or wall shear stress σw) and the transmembrane pressure. A high velocity of =2 m s−1 (σw=13.4 Pa) and low pressure (pressure of disperse phase slightly exceeded the critical pressure ΔpTM=4.5 bar of 0.2 μm-MPG) led to the smallest droplet diameter. As a consequence of average droplet diameters of d43>3.5 μm creaming was observed without centrifugation in all MPG emulsions after 24 h, but no coalescence of the oil droplets occurred. The study of protein adsorption showed that the MPG emulsification at low shear forces resulted in lower protein load values (2.5±0.5 mg m−2) than pressure emulsification (11.5±1.0 mg m−2). In addition, the various emulsification conditions (MPG or pressure homogenization) led to differences in the relative proportions of casein fractions, whey proteins and milk fat globule membranes (MFGM) at the fat globule surfaces.  相似文献

Zwitterionic titanoxanes {Cp[η5-C5H4B(C6F5)3]Ti}2O (I) and {(η5-iPrC5H4)[η5-1,3-iPrC5H3B(C6F5)3]Ti}2O (II), which contain two positively charged Ti(IV) centres in the molecule, are able to catalyse the ring-opening polymerization of -caprolactone (-CL) in toluene solution and in bulk. The process proceeds with a noticeable rate even at room temperature and accelerates strongly on raising the temperature to 60 °C. The best results have been obtained on carrying out the reaction in bulk. Under these conditions, the use of I as a catalyst (-CL:I = 1000:1) gives at 60 °C close to quantitative yield of poly--CL with the molecular mass of 197 000. An increase in the -CL:I ratio to 6000:1 increases the molecular mass of poly--CL to 530 000. Tetrahydrofuran (THF) is also polymerized under the action of I albeit with a lesser rate. However, the molecular mass of the resulting poly-THF can reach rather big values under optimal conditions (up to 217 000 at 20 °C and the THF:I ratio of 770:1). A rise in the reaction temperature from 20 to 60 °C results here to a decrease in the efficiency of the process. Titanoxane II is close to I in its catalytic activity in the -CL polymerization but it is much less active in the polymerization of THF. Propylene oxide (PO), in contrast to -CL and THF, gives with I only liquid oligomers in wide temperature and PO:I molar ratio ranges (−30 to +20 °C, PO:I = 500–2000:1). γ-Butyrolactone and 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone are not polymerized under the action of I at room temperature. The reactions found are the first examples of catalysis of the cationic ring-opening polymerization by zwitterionic metallocenes of the group IVB metals.  相似文献

Quantum mechanical calculations using the Hartree-Fock (HF), post-Hartree-Fock {MP2 and CCSD(T)}and gradient-corrected hybrid density functional variant, B3LYP methodology in conjugation with basis sets like 6-31G*, 6-311G** and cc-pVTZ, were employed to critically probe the right quality of basis set and the appropriate level of theory that can be applied in modeling the organo-sulfur compounds. The relative stability ordering of 1,2-dithiete and dithioglyoxal reveal the delicate basis set dependence especially on ‘S’ atom. Single point calculations at the B3LYP, MP2 and CCSD(T) levels using a series of basis set ranging from double ζ quality all the way up to the quintuple ζ quality were done to illustrate the effect of electron correlation and the basis set dependency for these compounds. Basis set requirements are much higher than affordable for medium sized molecules as very slow convergence is seen even when the calculations are carried out with basis set as high as cc-pV5Z at the B3LYP and MP2 level of theories.  相似文献

β-环糊精是一类环状的、由7个D-吡喃葡萄糖单元通过α-1,4-糖苷键连接而成的低聚糖,具有“内疏水、外亲水”的刚性锥形空腔结构。 近年来,基于β-环糊精的超分子体系的制备及应用取得前所未有的显著进展。 本文主要综述了β-环糊精衍生物、低聚物以及多聚物在合成方面的新进展,介绍了基于β-环糊精的分子组装,以及以β-环糊精及其修饰物为超分子主体的超分子体系在药物运输、基因传递、催化反应、污染治理等方面的最新应用。 目前,对β-环糊精基本性质及应用的研究已日趋成熟,但仍存在许多实际性的问题需要解决。 随着研究的进一步深入,有望实现β-环糊精在各领域的大规模、深层次应用。  相似文献

The reactive mechanism, stability and interrelating properties, and thermodynamic constants of β-cyclodextrin polymer (β-CDP) including vanillin, 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde and piperonal were investigated. The effects of pH, temperature, time and solvent concentration on the inclusion reaction were determined. The optimum conditions were determined (pH, 3.0; temperature, normal atmospheric temperature; time, 90 min; ethanol concentration, <1%). The method was applied for the direct ultraviolet solid phase spectrophotometric determination of vanillin in peanut toffee and toffee, and the other aromatic aldehydes using β-CDP adsorbed resin with satisfactory results. The β-CDP resin has less background absorbance in ultraviolet region compared to other ion-exchanger resins.  相似文献

基于氮化镓的白光发光二极管(LED)是目前一项崭新的背光源技术,广泛应用于宽色域、高光效的液晶显示屏。 在此项技术中,作为关键材料的荧光粉决定着背光单元的色域范围、发光效率和可靠性,因而要求它应具合适的发射波长和窄带发射。 β-sialon:Eu2+(sialon:silicon aluminum oxynitride(赛龙))就是一款非常适合背光应用的绿色荧光粉,这得益于其位于525~545 nm发射峰和只有55 nm狭窄的峰宽。 此文回顾和综述了β-sialon:Eu2+的合成方法、光谱特性、电子结构、晶体结构、可靠性和它的具体应用。 计算模拟和实验测试结果表明,Eu2+位于沿c轴方向的大孔道之中,并与6个最紧邻的(O,N)原子等距离配位。 因而,Eu2+的狭窄发射峰源自于Eu2+局域结构的高度对称性。 β-sialon:Eu2+的发射波长和带宽都能通过组成裁剪,即z值,进行调控;低z值组成能够实现更短波长发射和更窄带宽。 与传统的基于钇铝石榴石(YAG)荧光粉的背光源相比,β-sialon:Eu2+再搭配红色荧光粉制备的背光源具有更宽的色域,色域范围可提高15%以上。 其优异的发光性能和高可靠性使得β-sialon:Eu2+成为应用于先进显示屏的极其重要的绿色发光材料。  相似文献
