The dielectric properties of ceramics in Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-BaTiO3-PbTiO3 system were characterized using dielectric-temperature spectra. A spontaneous (zero field) relaxor-normal ferroelectric tran sition was observed for tetragonal rich compositions. A significant hysteresis effect accompanied by this transition, similar to first-order phase transition of normal ferroelectrics. This behavior was different from that of other relaxors, in which such transitions occurred only under a biased dc field. This observation was explained in terms of a thermally driven transformation from an ensemble of polar microregions to normal long-range ferroelectric state (micro-macro domain transition), which was attributed to the internal field resulting from the tetragonal strain. 相似文献

Phase pure perovskite (1−x−y)Pb(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-yPbTiO3 (PNN-PZN-PT) ferroelectric ceramics were prepared by conventional solid-state reaction method via a B-site oxide mixing route. The PNN-PZN-PT ceramics sintered at the optimized condition of 1185 °C for 2 h exhibit high relative density and rather homogenous microstructure. With the increase of PbTiO3 (PT) content, crystal structure and electrical properties of the synthesized PNN-PZN-PT ceramics exhibit successive phase transformation. A morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) is supposed to form in (0.9−x)PNN-0.1PZN-xPT at a region of x=32-36 mol% confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurement and dielectric measurement. The MPB composition can be pictured as providing a “bridge” connecting rhombohedral ferroelectric (FE) phase and tetragonal one since crystal structure of the MPB composition is similar to both the rhombohedral and tetragonal lattices. Dielectric response of the sintered PNN-PZN-PT ceramics also exhibits successive phase-transition character. 0.64PNN-0.1PZN-0.26PT exhibits broad, diffused and frequency dependent dielectric peaks indicating a character of diffused FE-paraelectric (PE) phase transition of relaxor ferroelectrics and 0.40PNN-0.1PZN-0.50PT exhibits narrow, sharp and frequency independent dielectric peaks indicating a character of first-order FE-PE phase transition of normal ferroelectrics. The FE-PE phase transition of 0.56PNN-0.1PZN-0.34PT is nearly first-order with some diffused character, which also exhibits the largest value of piezoelectric constant d33 of 462pC/N. 相似文献

研究了铌镁酸铅-钛酸铅铁电材料的铁电、介电性能对阴极发射阈值电压的影响, 以及铁电阴极发射电流与激励脉冲电压和抽取电压之间的关系, 并分析了其发射机理. 结果表明, 室温介电常数高、极化强度变化量大的弛豫铁电体0.9Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.1PbTiO3具有较小的发射阈值电压; 铁电阴极电子发射与快极化反转和等离子体的形成有关; 由极化反转所致电子发射的自发射电流随激励脉冲电压的增大呈幂律增长关系, 其发射电流开始于激励脉冲电压的下降沿; 在抽取电压较大时, 发射电流随抽取电压的增大呈线性增长关系, 说明大电流主要取决于抽取电压; 其发射电流开始于激励脉冲电压的上升沿, 与“三介点”处的场增强效应和等离子体的形成有关; 当抽取电压为2500 V 时, 得到的发射电流幅值为210 A, 相应的电流密度为447 A/cm2. 相似文献

Pyrochlore-free 0.64Pb(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.36PbTiO3 (0.64PNN-0.36PT) powder has been successfully synthesized by only one calcination step using a coating method. The formation of pyrochlore phase is prevented by coating NiCO3·2Ni(OH)2·2H2O on Nb2O5 particles. NiCO3·2Ni(OH)2·2H2O-coated Nb2O5 powder is prepared by heterogeneous precipitation method. The coating structure is confirmed by transmission electron microscope (TEM) with energy dispersive spectroscope (EDS). Single calcination treatment of the coating powder mixed with appropriate amounts of Pb3O4 and TiO2 powders at 900 °C for 2 h produces the pure-perovskite 0.64PNN-0.36PT powder. The elimination of the pyrochlore phase can be explained in terms of the separating of Pb3O4 and Nb2O5 by the NiCO3·2Ni(OH)2·2H2O coating layer. 相似文献

An optimum composition range (29%≤x≤31%) of 〈001〉 oriented (1−x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3(PMNT) crystals was ascertained for multilayer actuator applications, which exhibited high-strain and low-hysteresis behavior. A −1.5 kV/cm negative E-field can be applied to PMNT ferroelectric samples with low hysteresis. Forty layer actuators with individual element sizes of 7×7×0.7 mm3 were fabricated under identical processing conditions using two different materials: (1) single crystal PMNT and (2) commercial PZT-SF ceramics. Under free-load conditions, 48 μm displacements can been achieved in PMNT actuators at electric fields ranging from −1.5 to 10 kV/cm, which is more than twice the displacement of the PZT-SF actuators driven from −10 to 10 kV/cm. Under 4 kg loading, the displacements in PMNT stain actuators are decreased to 42.5 μm. 相似文献

借助与示差扫描量热法、磁化率测量、电子自旋共振、铁电与介电性质测量及电子衍射系统地研究了Pb(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O3(PFN)的电、磁性质和相变特征.结果表明发生在380K附近的顺电-铁电转变和发生在145K附近的顺磁 反铁磁转变分别为一级相变和二级相变或弱一级相变.在室温下,PFN的剩余极化与矫顽场分别为11.5μC/cm2和3.04kV/cm.介电测量表明PFN的顺电-铁电相变为弥散型相变.其弥散指数为1.62.电子衍射表明Fe3+与Nb5+离子在B位置上是无序分布的,正是这种与无序分布相关联的成分涨落导致铁电相变的弥散性.

The domain structures in (001) surface of Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-40% PbTiO3 single crystals were investigated by piezoresponse force microscopy. Both micron-sized fingerprint 180° and parallel 90° domains were observed in the sample. Different sets of favourable {110} oriented domain patterns were found to meet, intersect or grow through each other. In addition, the piezoelectricity decreases sharply at the domain walls in 180° structures, but does not in the 90° domain structures. 相似文献

Electric-field-induced strain behavior of (1−x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3 (PMNT) crystals with different orientations and compositions was investigated for use as electromechanical actuators. Crystallographically, high strains with low hysteresis were achieved for 〈001〉 oriented rhombohedral crystals (29%≤x≤31%) near a morphotropic phase boundary, rather than 〈110〉 and 〈111〉. Domain instability could explain inferior strain levels and large hysteresis for 〈110〉 and 〈111〉 oriented crystals. Ultrahigh strain levels up to 1.8% could be achieved for 〈001〉 oriented PMNT crystals, being related to an E-field induced phase transition. −2 kV/cm negative E-field can be applied to PMNT ferroelectric material with low hysteresis. High strain with low hysteresis makes PMNT crystals promising candidates for high performance solid-state actuators. 相似文献

The multiferroic (PMN-PT/CFO)n (n = 1,2) multilayered thin films have been prepared on SiO2/Si(1 0 0) substrate with LNO as buffer layer via a rf magnetron sputtering method. The structure and surface morphology of multilayered thin films were determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and atom force microscopy (AFM), respectively. The smooth, dense and crack-free surface shows the excellent crystal quality with root-mean-square (RMS) roughness only 2.9 nm, and average grain size of CFO thin films on the surface is about 44 nm. The influence of the thin films thickness size, periodicity n and crystallite orientation on their properties including ferroelectric, ferromagnetic properties in the (PMN-PT/CFO)n multilayered thin films were investigated. For multilayered thin films with n = 1 and n = 2, the remanent polarization Pr are 17.9 μC/cm2 and 9.9 μC/cm2; the coercivity Hc are 1044 Oe and 660 Oe, respectively. Sub-coercive field dynamic ferroelectric hysteresis of a morphotropic phase boundary composition of the PZT-PZN ceramic was investigated under influence of the compressive stress. The scaling relation of hysteresis area 〈A〉 against frequency f, field amplitude E0, and stress σ took a form of , which is not different significantly to that of other PZT-PZN compositions with pure tetragonal or rhombohedral structure, as well as to that of soft and hard PZT bulk ceramics. This study suggested that the domain structures, not ceramic compositions, played a key role in controlling dynamic hysteresis behavior of ferroelectric materials. 相似文献

Lead-based ceramic Pb(Sr1/3Nb2/3)O3 (PSN) is prepared by the columbite precursor method and structurally characterized using XRD. The X-ray diffraction shows a perovskite structure with cubic pyrochlore phase. Detailed studies of ε′ and ε″ of the compounds show that the compounds exhibit dielectric anomaly. Impedance spectroscopy is used to characterize the electrical behaviour. Results indicate that the relaxation mechanism of the material is temperature dependent and has dominant bulk contribution in different temperature ranges. Modulus spectroscopic data were used to gain an insight into the electrical properties of the samples and with a view to observe the relaxations in them. Frequency dependence dielectric permittivity shows typical Debye-type dielectric dispersion. Temperature-dependent DC resistivity shows that resistance decreases with the increase in temperature and follows Arrhenius behaviour in different temperature regions. 相似文献

A comparative study of the properties of two highly ordered lead based complex perovskites Pb(Y b1/2Ta1/2)O3 and Pb(Y b1/2Nb1/2)O3 has been carried out through x-ray diffraction, dielectric and Raman scattering measurements. These two compounds differ significantly in their structure, dielectric response and phonon vibration although the ionic radii and valencies are same for Ta and Nb. The room temperature x-ray diffraction pattern and Raman spectra show that the symmetry of lead ytterbium tantalate is lower than that of lead ytterbium niobate. The Raman spectra of Pb(Y b1/2Ta1/2)O3 also indicates the presence of local distortion in the lattice which may be one of the factors responsible for the existence of a secondary transition. 相似文献

We have grown lead iron niobate thin films with composition Pb(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O3 (PFN) on (0 0 1) SrTiO3 substrates by pulsed laser deposition. The influence of the deposition conditions on the phase purity was studied. Due to similar thermodynamic stability spaces, a pyrochlore phase often coexists with the PFN perovskite phase. By optimizing the kinetic parameters, we succeeded in identifying a deposition window which resulted in epitaxial perovskite-phase PFN thin films with no identifiable trace of impurity phases appearing in the X-ray diffractograms. PFN films having thicknesses between 20 and 200 nm were smooth and epitaxially oriented with the substrate and as demonstrated by RHEED streaks which were aligned with the substrate axes. X-ray diffraction showed that the films were completely c-axis oriented and of excellent crystalline quality with low mosaicity (X-ray rocking curve FWHM?0.09°). The surface roughness of thin films was also investigated by atomic force microscopy. The root-mean-square roughness varies between 0.9 nm for 50-nm-thick films to 16 nm for 100-nm-thick films. We also observe a correlation between grain size, surface roughness and film thickness. 相似文献

A series of substituted lead iron niobate compounds with the general formula Pb2+(1−x)AZx(Fe{(1−(2−Z)x)/2}Nb{(1+(2−Z)x)/2})O3 (0<x<0.6 and A=La3+, K+ or Sr2+) were prepared by a modified solid-state synthesis. The relative concentrations of Fe3+ and Nb5+ were adjusted to compensate the charge imbalance due to the aliovalent substitution. The dielectric constant and magnetic susceptibilities were studied as a function of temperature. The temperature of the dielectric maximum, TM, of the substituted compounds decreased linearly with increasing concentration of the substituent ions. The magnetic measurements showed an antiferromagnetic transition at temperatures TN1 due to the superexchange interactions mediated by Fe–O–Fe and an additional antiferromagnetic-type transition at TN2. TN1 linearly increased with the increasing concentration of Fe3+ ion at the B-site of ABO3-type substituted compounds. TM is shown to be directly dependent on the concentration of the ferroactive Nb5+ ions at the B-site and Pb2+ ions at the A-site. 相似文献
