Fredholm Composition Operators on Riemann Surfaces   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5
It is proved that the invertibility of a composition operator on the differential form space for a Riemann surface is equivalent to its Fredholmness. In addition, the Fredholmness of weighted composition operators is discussed.  相似文献

By taking an interest in a natural extension to the small parameters of the trace inequality for Morrey spaces, Orlicz–Morrey spaces are introduced and some inequalities for generalized fractional integral operators on Orlicz–Morrey spaces are established. The local boundedness property of the Orlicz maximal operators is investigated and some Morrey-norm equivalences are also verified. The result obtained here sharpens the one in our earlier papers.  相似文献

It is proved that the index of a Fredholm operator between non-Archimedean Fréchet spaces is preserved under compact perturbations. A similar result is shown for Fredholm operators between non-Archimedean polar regular LF-spaces.  相似文献

This work is devoted to the advanced study of Roper–Suffridge type extension operators. For a given non-normalized spirallike function (with respect to an interior or boundary point) on the open unit disk of the complex plane, we construct perturbed extension operators in a certain class of Banach spaces and prove that these operators preserve the spirallikeness property. In addition, we present an extension operator for semigroup generators. We use a new geometric approach based on the connection between spirallike mappings and one-parameter continuous semigroups. It turns out that the new one-dimensional covering results established below are crucial for our investigation.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the so-called genuine Bernstein–Durrmeyer operators and define corresponding quasi-interpolants of order ${r \in \mathbb{N}_0}$ in terms of certain differential operators. These quasi-interpolants preserve all polynomials of degree at most r?+?1. We analyse the eigenstructure of the differential operators and the quasi-interpolants and prove as main results an error estimate of Jackson–Favard type for sufficiently smooth functions and an upper bound for the error of approximation in the sup-norm in terms of an appropriate K-functional.  相似文献

The symmetric Al-Salam–Chihara polynomials for q > 1 are associated with an indeterminate moment problem. There is a self-adjoint second-order difference operator on ℓ2(Z) to which these polynomials are eigenfunctions. We determine the spectral decomposition of this self-adjoint operator. This leads to a class of discrete orthogonality measures, which have been obtained previously by Christiansen and Ismail using a different method, and we give an explicit orthogonal basis for the corresponding weighted ℓ2-space. In particular, the orthocomplement of the polynomials is described explicitly. Taking a limit we obtain all the N-extremal solutions to the q-1-Hermite moment problem, a result originally obtained by Ismail and Masson in a different way. Some applications of the results are discussed.  相似文献

Let $\mathcal{X}$ be a metric space with doubling measure and L a nonnegative self-adjoint operator in $L^{2}(\mathcal{X})$ satisfying the Davies–Gaffney estimates. Let $\varphi:\mathcal{X}\times[0,\infty)\to[0,\infty)$ be a function such that φ(x,?) is an Orlicz function, $\varphi(\cdot,t)\in\mathbb{A}_{\infty}(\mathcal{X})$ (the class of uniformly Muckenhoupt weights), its uniformly critical upper type index I(φ)∈(0,1], and it satisfies the uniformly reverse Hölder inequality of order 2/[2?I(φ)]. In this paper, the authors introduce a Musielak–Orlicz–Hardy space $H_{\varphi,L}(\mathcal{X})$ , by the Lusin area function associated with the heat semigroup generated by L, and a Musielak–Orlicz BMO-type space $\mathrm{BMO}_{\varphi,L}(\mathcal{X})$ , which is further proved to be the dual space of $H_{\varphi,L}(\mathcal{X})$ and hence whose φ-Carleson measure characterization is deduced. Characterizations of $H_{\varphi,L}(\mathcal{X})$ , including the atom, the molecule, and the Lusin area function associated with the Poisson semigroup of L, are presented. Using the atomic characterization, the authors characterize $H_{\varphi,L}(\mathcal{X})$ in terms of the Littlewood–Paley $g^{\ast}_{\lambda}$ -function $g^{\ast}_{\lambda,L}$ and establish a Hörmander-type spectral multiplier theorem for L on $H_{\varphi,L}(\mathcal{X})$ . Moreover, for the Musielak–Orlicz–Hardy space H φ,L (? n ) associated with the Schrödinger operator L:=?Δ+V, where $0\le V\in L^{1}_{\mathrm{loc}}(\mathbb{R}^{n})$ , the authors obtain its several equivalent characterizations in terms of the non-tangential maximal function, the radial maximal function, the atom, and the molecule; finally, the authors show that the Riesz transform ?L ?1/2 is bounded from H φ,L (? n ) to the Musielak–Orlicz space L φ (? n ) when i(φ)∈(0,1], and from H φ,L (? n ) to the Musielak–Orlicz–Hardy space H φ (? n ) when $i(\varphi)\in(\frac{n}{n+1},1]$ , where i(φ) denotes the uniformly critical lower type index of φ.  相似文献

Let \({t\mapsto A(t)}\) for \({t\in T}\) be a C M -mapping with values unbounded operators with compact resolvents and common domain of definition which are self-adjoint or normal. Here C M stands for C ω (real analytic), a quasianalytic or non-quasianalytic Denjoy–Carleman class, C , or a Hölder continuity class C 0,α . The parameter domain T is either \({\mathbb R}\) or \({\mathbb R^n}\) or an infinite dimensional convenient vector space. We prove and review results on C M -dependence on t of the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of A(t).  相似文献

We study the analog of semi-separable integral kernels in \({\mathcal {H}}\) of the type $$ K(x, x') = \left\{\begin{array}{ll} F_1(x) G_1(x'), \quad& a < x' < x < b,\\ F_2 (x)G_2(x'), \quad& a < x < x' < b,\end{array}\right.$$ where \({-\infty \leqslant a < b \leqslant \infty}\) , and for a.e. \({x \in (a, b)}\) , \({F_j (x) \in \mathcal{B}_2(\mathcal{H}_j, \mathcal{H})}\) and \({G_j(x) \in \mathcal {B}_2(\mathcal {H},\mathcal {H}_j)}\) such that F j (·) and G j (·) are uniformly measurable, and $$\begin{array}{ll} || F_j ( \cdot) ||_{\mathcal {B}_2(\mathcal {H}_j,\mathcal {H})} \in L^2((a, b)), ||G_j (\cdot)||_{\mathcal {B}_2(\mathcal {H},\mathcal {H}_j)} \in L^2((a, b)), \quad j=1,2, \end{array}$$ with \({\mathcal {H}}\) and \({\mathcal {H}_j}\) , j = 1, 2, complex, separable Hilbert spaces. Assuming that K(·, ·) generates a trace class operator K in \({L^2((a, b);\mathcal {H})}\) , we derive the analog of the Jost–Pais reduction theory that succeeds in proving that the Fredholm determinant \({{\rm det}_{L^2((a,b);\mathcal{H})}}\) (I ? α K), \({\alpha \in \mathbb{C}}\) , naturally reduces to appropriate Fredholm determinants in the Hilbert spaces \({\mathcal{H}}\) (and \({\mathcal{H}_1 \oplus \mathcal{H}_2}\) ). Explicit applications of this reduction theory to Schrödinger operators with suitable bounded operator-valued potentials are made. In addition, we provide an alternative approach to a fundamental trace formula first established by Pushnitski which leads to a Fredholm index computation of a certain model operator.  相似文献

Generalized Browder’s Theorem and SVEP   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
A bounded operator a Banach space, is said to verify generalized Browder’s theorem if the set of all spectral points that do not belong to the B-Weyl’s spectrum coincides with the set of all poles of the resolvent of T, while T is said to verify generalized Weyl’s theorem if the set of all spectral points that do not belong to the B-Weyl spectrum coincides with the set of all isolated points of the spectrum which are eigenvalues. In this article we characterize the bounded linear operators T satisfying generalized Browder’s theorem, or generalized Weyl’s theorem, by means of localized SVEP, as well as by means of the quasi-nilpotent part H 0IT) as λ belongs to certain subsets of . In the last part we give a general framework for which generalized Weyl’s theorem follows for several classes of operators.  相似文献

We consider one-dimensional Schrödinger-type operators in a bounded interval with non-self-adjoint Robin-type boundary conditions. It is well known that such operators are generically conjugate to normal operators via a similarity transformation. Motivated by recent interests in quasi-Hermitian Hamiltonians in quantum mechanics, we study properties of the transformations and similar operators in detail. In the case of parity and time reversal boundary conditions, we establish closed integral-type formulae for the similarity transformations, derive a non-local self-adjoint operator similar to the Schrödinger operator and also find the associated “charge conjugation” operator, which plays the role of fundamental symmetry in a Krein-space reformulation of the problem.  相似文献
