In this proceeding,we propose to directly measure the a00(980)-f0(980)mixing in J/ψ→φ f0(980)φa00(980)and χc1 →π0a00(980)→π0f0(980)with the upgraded Beijing Electron Positron Collider(BEPCII)with BESⅢ detector. We show that a narrow peak of about 8 MeV will be produced by the a00(980)-f0(980)mixing,and the predominant feature makes it standing out from the background contributions. The predicted branching ratios for these two reactions are both expected to be about O(10-6),which is unambiguously accessible with109 J/ψ and 3 × 108 χc1 at BESⅢ.

Ratios of coupling constants for these decays are compared with qq̄ predictions and Jaffe’s q2q̄2 model. In both models, the predicted ratio g2(κ→Kπ)/g2(σ→ππ) is much too small. Also, for qq̄, the predicted ratio g2(κ→Kη’)/g2(κ→Kπ) is much larger than observed. Both models fail for g2(f0→KK)/g2(a0→KK). This ratio requires that f0 has a dominant KK component. It arises naturally because the f0 pole lies very close to the KK threshold, giving its wave function a long KK tail.

We measure the branching fraction (B), polarization (f(L)), and CP asymmetry (A(CP)) of B(+/-)-->rho(+/-)rho(0) decays and search for the decay B(+/-)-->rho(+/-)f(0)(980) based on a data sample of 231.8 x 10(6) Upsilon(4S)-->BB decays collected with the BABAR detector at the SLAC PEP-II asymmetric-energy B factory. In B(+/-)-->rho(+/-)rho(0) decays we measure B=(16.8+/-2.2+/-2.3) x 10(-), f(L)=0.905+/-0.042(-0.027)(+0.023), and A(CP)=-0.12+/-0.13+/-0.10, and find an upper limit on the branching fraction of B(+/-)-->rho(+/-)f(0)(980)(-->pi(+)pi(-)) decays of 1.9 x 10(-6) at 90% confidence level.

A critical consideration of all unusual properties of the scalar a 0(980) and f 0(980) mesons is presented within the four-quark, two-quark, and molecular models. Arguments in favor of the four-quark model are given. Further experiments that could finally resolve this issue are discussed.

We calculate the radiative decay widths of the a
0(980) and f
0(980) scalar mesons into ργ and ωγ considering the dynamically generated nature of these scalar resonances within the realm
of the chiral unitary approach. The main ingredient in the evaluation of the radiative width of the scalar mesons are the
loops coming from the decay into their constituent pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar components and the subsequent radiation of the
photon. The dominant diagrams with only pseudoscalar mesons in the loops are found to be convergent while the divergence of
those with a vector meson in the loop are written in terms of the two-meson loop function easily regularizable. We provide
results for all the possible charge channels and obtain results, with uncertainties, which differ significantly from quark
loops models and some version of vector meson dominance.

We search for the radiative penguin decays B_{s}{0}-->varphigamma and B_{s}{0}-->gammagamma in a 23.6 fb{-1} data sample collected at the Upsilon(5S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e{+}e{-} asymmetric-energy collider. We observe for the first time a radiative penguin decay of the B_{s}{0} meson in the B_{s}{0}-->varphigamma mode and we measure B(B_{s}{0}-->varphigamma)=(57_{-15}{+18}(stat)-11+12(syst))x10{-6}. No significant B_{s}{0}-->gammagamma signal is observed and we set a 90% confidence level upper limit of B(B_{s}{0}-->gammagamma)<8.7x10{-6}.

In this article, we take the point of view that the scalar mesons f0(980) and a0(980) are the diquark-antidiquark states
, and we devote our attention to the determination of their masses in the framework of the QCD sum rule approach with the interpolating currents constructed from scalar-scalar type and pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar type diquark pairs respectively. The numerical results indicate that the scalar mesons f0(980) and a0(980) may have two possible diquark-antidiquark substructures.Received: 27 January 2005, Revised: 22 March 2005, Published online: 31 May 2005PACS:

We report results from a study of Lambda(0) polarization in the exclusive reaction pp --> p(f)(Lambda0K+) at 800-GeV/c. We observe a dependence of the polarization on the Lambda0K+ invariant mass with large (+71%) positive polarization at small mass (1.63-GeV/c(2)) and large (-43%) negative polarization at large mass (2.75-GeV/c(2)). This observation confirms the result of the CERN ISR R608 experiment and extends the range over which the effect is observed. The strong dependence of the polarization on the Lambda0K+ invariant mass suggests that the origin of the polarization is closely related to the production dynamics of the diffractively produced Lambda0K+ system.

We report a determination of the B(0)(d)-&B_(0)(d) mixing parameter Deltam(d) based on the time evolution of dilepton yields in Upsilon(4S) decays. The measurement is based on a 5.9 fb(-1) data sample collected by the Belle detector at KEKB. The proper-time difference distributions for same-sign and opposite-sign dilepton events are simultaneously fitted to an expression containing Deltam(d) as a free parameter. Using both muons and electrons, we obtain Deltam(d) = 0.463+/-0.008 (stat)+/-0.016 (syst) ps(-1). This is the first determination of Deltam(d) from time evolution measurements at the Upsilon(4S). We also place limits on possible CPT violations.

Quantum chromodynamics methods are used to calculate the section of the reaction a0 0 with formation as an intermediate state of the meson a0(980), which is interpreted as a bound state of two quark-antiquark pairs, formed upon dissociation of two virtual photons, with which an electron and positron are exchanged in incident e–- and e+-beams. It is shown that the a0 20 decay is significantly more suppressed than the a0 0 decay.Translated from Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Fizika, No. 7, pp. 19–23, July, 1991.

We present an unquenched lattice calculation for the B(0)-B(0) transition amplitude. The calculation, carried out at an inverse lattice spacing 1/a=2.22(4) GeV, incorporates two flavors of dynamical quarks described by the O(a)-improved Wilson fermion action and heavy quarks described by nonrelativistic QCD. Particular attention is paid to the uncertainty that arises from the chiral extrapolation, especially the effect of pion loops, for light quarks, which we find could be sizable for the leptonic decay constant, whereas it is small for the B parameters. We obtain f(B(d))=191(10)(+12-22) MeV, f(B(s))/f(B(d))=1.13(3)(+13-2), B(B(d))(m(b))=0.836(27)(+56-62), B(B(s))/B(B(d))=1.017(16)(+56-17), and xi=1.14(3)(+13-2), where the first error is statistical, and the second is systematic, including uncertainties due to chiral extrapolation, finite lattice spacing, heavy quark expansion, and perturbative operator matching.

We study the scalar meson f0(980) in the γp→pf0(980) reaction within an effective Lagrangian approach. Based on previous studies, we calculate the differential cross sections of this reaction. We take two types of the propagators of vector mesons ρ and ω, one is the Regge form, the other one is the normal Feynman propagator. It is found that our theoretical results for the differential cross sections with the Feynman propagator are in agreement with the current experimental data. For the total cross sections, the results with the two types of propagator are much different. On the other hand, we predict the π+π- invariant mass distribution of the γp→pf0(980)→pπ+π- reaction. We find that the π+π- invariant mass distribution depends sensitively on the value of the coupling constant gf0KK. We hope that the future experiments can test our model calculation and give further constraints on the value of gf0KK and also the nature of f0(980).

Evidence for particle stability of ( 4 )( LambdaLambda)H has been suggested by the BNL-AGS E906 experiment. We report on Faddeev-Yakubovsky calculations for the four-body LambdaLambdapn system using LambdaN interactions which reproduce the observed binding energy of (3)(Lambda)H(1 / 2(+)) within a Faddeev calculation for the Lambdapn subsystem. No ( 4 )( LambdaLambda)H bound state is found over a wide range of LambdaLambda interaction strengths, although the Faddeev equations for a three-body LambdaLambdad model of ( 4 )( LambdaLambda)H admit a 1(+) bound state for as weak a LambdaLambda interaction strength as required to reproduce B(LambdaLambda)(( 6 )( LambdaLambda)He).

We report a measurement of the CP-violating parameters in B;{0}-->K_{S}{0}K_{S}{0} decays based on a data sample of 657x10{6} BB[over ] pairs collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e;{+}e{-} collider. In this Letter, one neutral B meson is fully reconstructed in the B;{0}-->K_{S}{0}K_{S}{0} decay mode, and the flavor of the accompanying B meson is identified by its decay products. The CP-violating parameters are measured from the asymmetry in the distributions of the proper-time interval between the two B decays: S_K_{S}{0}K_{S}{0}}=-0.38_{-0.77}{+0.69}(stat)+/-0.09(syst) and A_{K_{S}{0}K_{S}{0}}=-0.38+/-0.38(stat)+/-0.05(syst).

We have studied the "wrong-sign" process D0-->K+pi(-) to search for D0-&Dmacr;( 0) mixing. The data come from 9.0 fb(-1) of e(+)e(-) collisions at sqrt[s] approximately 10 GeV recorded with the CLEO II. V detector. We measure the relative rate of the wrong-sign process D0-->K+pi(-) to the Cabibbo-favored process &Dmacr;( 0)-->K+pi(-) to be R = (0.332(+0.063)(-0.065)+/-0.040)%. We study D0-->K+pi(-) as a function of decay time to distinguish direct doubly Cabibbo-suppressed decay from D0-&Dmacr;( 0) mixing. The amplitudes that describe D0-&Dmacr;( 0) mixing, x(') and y('), are consistent with zero. At the 95% C.L. and without assumptions concerning charge-parity ( CP) violating parameters, we find (1/2)x('2)<0.041% and -5.8%相似文献

Data for φ→γ(ηπ0) are analysed using the KK loop model and compared with parameters of a0(980) derived from Crystal Barrel data. The ηπ mass spectrum agrees closely and the absolute normalisation lies just within
errors. However, BES parameters for f0(980) predict a normalisation for φ→γ(π0π0) at least a factor 2 lower than is observed. This discrepancy may be eliminated by including constructive interference between
f0(980) and σ. The magnitude required for σ→KK is consistent with data on ππ→KK. A dispersion relation analysis by Büttiker,
Descotes-Genon and Moussallam of ππ→KK leads to a similar conclusion. Data on ππ→ηη also require decays of σ to ηη. Four sets
of ππ→KK data all require a small but definite f0(1370) signal.
