This paper studies the propagation of dipole solitons in
highly nonlocal medium by using the variational method. It finds
that the dipole solitons will be stable when the input power obeys a
restrict value. When the incident power does not satisfy the stable
conditions, the nonlocal accessible dipole solitons will undergo
linear harmonic oscillation. It shows such evolution behaviours in

本文研究了矩形和圆形截面铅玻璃介质中强非局域空间光孤子的传输特性.基于镜像法,光束在铅玻璃中的传输被分成独立的两个过程,即孤子的形成和孤子的整体偏转.孤子的形成不依赖于边界,它来源于入射源光束本身形成的折射率分布的作用,所以形成孤子的临界功率只与材料的性质和入射光束束宽有关.孤子的整体偏转在本质上来源于边界的作用,其偏转力在数值上等同于所有镜像光束与源光束之间的作用力.截面圆形和截面矩形的边界分别"镜像"出一个和无穷多个镜像光束,进而导致不同边界条件下孤子不同的偏转轨迹.文中解析求得的孤子的临界功率以及两

The influence of phase-front curvature on the dynamical behavior of the fundamental mode soliton during its transmission in asymmetrical nonlocal media is studied in detail and the phase-front curvature can be imposed on the fundamental mode soliton by reshaping or phase imprinting technologies. Within the framework of nonlocal elasticity, the surface layer model is proposed to investigate the wave propagation characteristics in a single-layered nanoplate. The general solutions of nonlocal governing equations are expressed using partial wave technique and the nonclassical boundary conditions are derived. The dispersion relation with the effects of surface and nonlocal small-scale is obtained, and the size-dependent dispersion behaviour is demonstrated. The impacts of surface elasticity, residual surface stress and nonlocal parameter on the dispersion curves of the lowest-order two modes are illustrated. Numerical examples reveal that both the surface effect and nonlocal small-scale effect can obviously decrease the magnitude of phase velocity, and the thinner nanoplate corresponds to the smaller wave velocity and the narrower frequency bandwidth. 相似文献

在非局域克尔介质中,光束的演化规律服从非局域非线性薛定谔方程。用变分法对此问题进行了重新表述。在强非局域的情况下,通过对介质响应函数进行泰勒展开,可以解析地表示变分问题。束宽的演化规律也可以定性地从光束束宽变分势得出。运用瑞利-里兹方法求解其变分方程,分别求出光束在自散焦和自聚焦介质中的变分解。对于自聚焦介质,当输入功率为某一特定值时,可以得到空间孤子,其束宽在传输过程中保持不变。通过与其他方法得到的解比较表明,变分法是解析讨论光束在非局域非线性介质中演化规律的方法之一。 相似文献

A regular procedure is proposed for finding the solution to a linearized kinetic equation for charged particles with the Landau collision integral in a plasma with large Z. The expression for longitudinal permittivity of a collisional plasma, which is obtained using this procedure for the entire range of frequencies and wavenumbers, as well as the collision parameter, is transformed to the known expressions in the corresponding asymptotic limits. The nonlocal transport equations for small perturbations are also formulated for arbitrary relations between the characteristic space and time scales of the plasma; these relations considerably extend the limits of applicability for previously developed theories. 相似文献

Correlation function formulae for transport coefficients of 2nd order in arbitrarily dense fluids are derived, using a modified Chapman-Enskog solution of the Liouville equation. Some static correlations are neglected. Approximate evaluation for dilute gases gives essentially the same results as the solution of Boltzmann's equation. As an application higher order transport effects in the critical region are estimated. 在非局域非线性克尔介质中,通过对介质实对称响应函数的泰勒展开,简化了非局域非线性薛定谔方程所对应的Lagrange密度,进而利用变分法对光束的传输问题进行了分析.求出试探解各个参量的演化方程并得到了自聚焦介质中的厄米高斯型光束的精确解析解,当输入功率达到临界功率时,即形成高阶空间光孤子(厄米高斯孤子),其最低阶(基模光孤子)就是高斯孤子.通过数值模拟发现解析解与数值解符合得很好.

This paper makes the first attempt to investigate the dispersion behavior of waves in magneto-electro-elastic (MEE) nanobeams. The Euler nanobeam model and Timoshenko nanobeam model are developed in the formulation based on the nonlocal theory. By using the Hamilton’s principle, we derive the governing equations which are then solved analytically to obtain the dispersion relations of MEE nanobeams. Results are presented to highlight the influences of the thermo-electro-magnetic loadings and nonlocal parameter on the wave propagation characteristics of MEE nanobeams. It is found that the thermo-electro-magnetic loadings can lead to the occurrence of the cut-off wave number below which the wave can’t propagate in MEE nanobeams. 相似文献

This paper is concerned with the characteristics of wave propagation in double-walled carbon nanotubes (DWCNTs). The DWCNTs is simulated with a Timoshenko beam model based on the nonlocal continuum elasticity theory, referred to as an analytically nonlocal Timoshenko-beam (ANT) model. The governing equations of the DWCNTs beam consist of a set of four equations that are derived from the variational principle of the beam with high-order boundary conditions at the both ends, in which the effects of the nano-scale nonlocality and the van der Waals interaction between inner and outer tubes are inclusive. The characteristics of the wave propagation in the DWCNTs beam were analyzed with the new ANT model proposed and the comparisons with the partially nonlocal Timoshenko-beam (PNT) models in publication were made in details. The results show that the nonlocal effects of the ANT model proposed in the present study on the wave propagations are more significant because it is in stronger stiffness enhancement to the DWCNTs beam. 相似文献

Magnetization dynamics in uniformly magnetized ferromagnetic media is studied by using Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation. The nonlinear evolution equation is integrable with site-dependent and biquadratic exchange interaction by means of Landau-Lifshitz (LL) equation which is well understood. In the present work, we construct the exact solitary solutions of the nonlinear evolution equation, particularly, we employ the modified extended tangent hyperbolic function method. We study ultrashort-laser-pulse absorption and plasma heating at a sharp plasma–vacuum interface using advanced models for
all-range plasma permittivity and nonlocal heat transport. The electron response includes both collisional and collisionless
dissipative effects in the plasma of an arbitrary ion charge. We show that nonlocal electron heat transport is important for
correct determination of the value of electron temperature and spatial temperature profile. Nonlocal electron heat flux comes
into play after electrons heat up to temperatures of the order of 1 keV and to temperatures several times less for low-density
